Films Not Made: Hi, I'm John Viginti here at my studio and I'm going to talk a little bit about the making of the theme for the Films Not Made podcast. I've got a lot of fun synthesizers here. I got to use a lot of them. I ⁓ found the sound effect of a film projector and then I added the drums from the Kahn Electric Band, which is this cheesy instrument from the 70s but has a great sounding drum machine. And I have the drum beat sample kind of fattened up a little bit. Got the Moog Voyager for the bass. and I added... synthesizer. the ARP2600, this little arpeggio. And then this second part that comes in. Great monophonic synthesizer. ⁓ That's the Sequential Pro 3. And then when it breaks down a little bit, I changed to a different drum machine. ⁓ The Roland TR-8, which is sort of their modern version of the classic TR-808, a nice version of it. Kind of breaks down there a little bit. And then I went to a kind of a more mellow bass sound, which is actually from the Moog modular, Moog 15. Great sounding synth. And then the vanilla synthesizer, and it's doing the more percussive version of the melody. echo on it. Pretty fun. The podcast looks great. Hope you're all enjoying it. And it was really great and fun to work on this. We get to use a lot of my favorite instruments. So enjoy.
