Faelyne: Hey, are you the person who's still awake at two AM because your brain just remembered that weird look that Alicia from accounting gave you three weeks ago? Stephanie: The person who's turned off the read receipts on their phone. So nobody knows you're up s at 4 a.m. texting again still. Faelyne: Or the person who internally dreads girls night out, but externally interrupts her way throughout the entire evening. Stephanie: Hi, we're Stephanie and Faelyne two ADHD coaches who are also living specimens of everything we talk about here. Faelyne: Nobody talks about the ADHD cringe. We keep it in our heads or we whisper about it behind closed doors. But we've decided cringe doesn't need to be hidden. It needs a voice. Because honestly, some of it is too good not to share when you're among friends. Stephanie: True. We created the ADHD cringe lab to give voice to the cringe, to dissect it, to discover where it comes from, and to take away some of its power. Faelyne: So every week we're gonna take one cringy, chaotic, and completely relatable ADHD moment. We're gonna act it out, but then we're gonna break down the science behind it and give you real tools to handle it better next time. Stephanie: Because your brain works differently. Faelyne: And yes, sometimes that specialty wiring produces some social cringe. Stephanie: But it is also capable of amazing things that a neurotypical brain could never imagine. Some moments, they're tough, but they're temporary. Faelyne: The cringe phase. You're still standing. Probably a little mortified, but still standing. Stephanie: This lab has always been here. We're just finally turning the lights on. Faelyne: We are officially opening the lab doors and we want you in here with us. Stephanie: Welcome to the ADHD cringe lab. Faelyne: New episodes will be dropping every week. You can find us on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music, or wherever you listen to podcasts, or you can watch us on YouTube. Stephanie: Look for our first episode this Wednesday at 4 a.m. Because one of us will certainly be awake. But until then, try not to die of embarrassment. ⁓ Faelyne: Die of embarrassment. We'll eventually get that right. Stephanie: We will. Well, we probably won't. Faelyne: I mean, stop, stop the door. I'm recording a podcast. Sh I told you not to come in here. I meant to tell you. ⁓ Stephanie: Hey, lab coat on inside out. Faelyne: Course it is. Well, this has been the official trailer for the ADHD cringe lab. Tune in on Wednesdays for more cringe because we're gonna have it. Stephanie: For sure.
