Justin Core: We got we got a few minutes in the car together. We never get this many people in the car together. So here we are. So I figured what better thing to do than to chat about what y'all are experiencing. Nicholas, you're taking up all the camera. Make sure you show everybody else, okay? Can't be all about you. All right, you can come back now. so making sure we're we're talking about kind of the the the trials, successes, the things we didn't know. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): We got a few minutes in the car together. We never get this many people in the car together. So here we are. So I figured what better thing to do than to chat about what y'all are experiencing. Nicholas, you're taking up all the camera. Make sure you show everybody else. Okay. Can't be all about you. All right, come back then. so making sure we're we're talking about kind of the the trials, successes, things we didn't know, you know, because y'all are Justin Core: You know, because y'all are all kind of equally fresh at this venture of real estate. So I want to talk about it now because six months from now you're gonna forget the pain. And so we want to share the the good and the bad, the pain, the things you didn't know, things you thought you knew that you didn't know, now versus versus later. 'Cause it's really easy to reflect and be like, I did it, you do it, figure it out. But how do we help people get there faster? Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): of equally fresh at this venture of real estate. So I want to talk about it now because six months from now you're gonna forget the pain. And so we want to share the the good and the bad, the pain, the things you didn't know, the things you thought you knew that you didn't know, now versus versus later. It's really easy to reflect and think I did it, you do it, figure it out. But how do we help people get there faster? Justin Core: You know, it's been our journeys trying to do that for a long time. Like how do we fix our make our training such that we could help you guys get there faster than we would have when we started, you know, it's we always gotta be passing that down. So, since Nicholas has got the phone, I'll start with Nicholas. what is one thing right now that you know now that you didn't know I don't know, let's go like two months ago. Like you're really fresh at this. One thing I didn't know that it didn't help. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): You know, it's been our journey is trying to do that full time. Like how do we fix our make our training such that we can help you guys get there faster than we would have when we started, you know, and so we've always gotta be passing that down. So, since Nicholas has got the phone, I'll start with Nicholas. what is one thing right now that you know now that you didn't know I don't know, let's go like two months ago. Like you're really fresh at this. One thing I didn't know that I didn't know two Justin Core: like on the phone. I didn't really understand what to say or how to say it. really what my goal is for me now. Like I understand what my goal is to Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Like on the phone. I didn't really understand what to say or how to say it, or really what my goal was from it. But now I feel like I understand what my goal is from the calls and how to achieve So what is what what has changed that you're how you call? Yeah, I think in the beginning when I when I would call I would just I don't know, I didn't really have an end goal, it would just be to keep them on the phone or maybe put them on a re a search. Justin Core: So what is what what has changed in your in how you call? Yeah, I think in the beginning when I when I would call, I would just I don't know, I didn't really have an end goal, it would just be to keep them on the phone or maybe put them on a a search. But now I feel like my goal is when I can be how I could get them to meet me in person, how to build that connection and relationship. And I start changing the way I speak to them and how I get to that goal. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): But now I feel like my goal is when I can meet how I could get them to meet me in person, how to build that connection and relationship. And I I once I started changing the the way I I speak to them and how I get to that goal, it's been working. Like yesterday I had a a showing for a hundred thirty acres of land, for with this guy I met on the phone and it went pretty well. He didn't like the land but I established a good relationship with him. Pretty cool. Pretty cool. Justin Core: It's been working. Like yesterday had a a showing for a hundred and thirty acres of land. this guy. Well, he didn't like the land, but I established it. Very cool. Very cool. all right, we'll see Kubinsky. Same thing same question for you. Like what what's the the the thing you now know that you didn't know that Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Yes well. Same thing same question for you. Like what what's the the thing you now know that you didn't know that? I believe it's about like open houses. I didn't know how to present myself at first, you know. Now I'm starting to get it. When I talk to people I make them feel more comfortable. And right now, after every open house most likely I have like a somebody who wanna have a showing with me. Justin Core: believe it's about like open houses. I didn't know how to present myself at first, you know. Now I'm starting to get it. When I talk to people, I make them feel more comfortable. Right now, after every open house, most likely I have like a somebody who wanna have a show and me, you Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): You know, talk to them, we build like a relationship, stuff like that. So I think it's gonna help in the future, like ninety days from Justin Core: know, talk to be a like a relationship stuff like that. So I think it's gonna in the future like nine days for Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): now, you know, a year from now, they're probably gonna be but we're gonna be able to work together. It's something Justin Core: Gonna be able to work together with us. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): that really part of. So open houses aren't dead yet? No, it's not. People are still open houses. Yeah, I love it. That's awesome. That's good here. Justin Core: So open houses aren't dead yet. No? People are still rolling through there? Yeah. I love it. Okay. That's awesome. That's good to hear it. I mean, the beauty about open houses is you got versus being on the phone with somebody, you've got people who are actively looking. I mean, you don't know where they're in that process, but they're actively looking. They're taking the first step, which is which is if we can catch at that first step, we're doing something right. Taking time out of their day to do it. They put in the effort. Yeah. Way better than a lot of other weeds that we get. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): You've got people who are actively looking. I mean you don't know where they're on that process, but they're actively looking taking the first step, which is which is if we catch with that first step, we're doing something. Take your time out of there today to do it. They're putting the effort. Yeah. Way better than a lot of other leads that we get. Brock, you you came here, you started just sh showing up. I mean, I love that. it's one of the things we talk about. It's like sometimes just just getting around people for doing it, sorts of gonna give you that confidence. Justin Core: Brock, you you came here, you started just showing up. I mean, I love that. it's one of the things we talk about. It's like sometimes just just getting around people who are doing it, starts to kind of give you that confidence. What was it about that in you that was it it kind of felt like that was a natural thing you were gonna do, regardless if you were told to do it? You know? what is that where does that come from? I do better personally when I'm surrounded by what I'm working on. So like I like having home for home. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): What was it about that in you that was it it kind of felt like that was a natural thing you were gonna do, regardless if you were told to do it, you know? what is that where does that come from? I do better personally when I'm surrounded by what I'm working on. So like I like having home for home. I love that we have a great office to work in and then just being able to pop over and I mean, like you said from the beginning, you know, there's always opportunities to shadow people, to be around people. And it's much easier when I have a question to pop in and ask you or Matt. Justin Core: I love that we have a great office to work in and then just be able to pop over and I mean, like you said from the beginning, there's always opportunities to shadow people, to be around people. And it's much easier when I have a question to pop in and ask you or Matt so that I'm like in person. She can just knock it out and then go sit back at my desk, focus on it, not get distracted. So like if I'm home then, there's a thousand different things that I could get into, but being in the office just helps a lot. But Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): So that I'm like in person, she can just knock it out and then go sit back at my desk, focus on it, and not get distracted. And so, like if I'm home, then you there's a thousand different things that I could get into. But being in the office just helps a lot. What what is something you've learned, you know, except something you were gonna be doing, obviously, probably wherever you went was showing up. So what is something you've learned, a skill you've picked up from being in the office? Justin Core: What is something you've learned and you know, 'cause that was something you were gonna be doing, obviously, probably wherever you went with showing up. So what is something you've learned, a skill you've picked up, from being in the office? I definitely have learned that there's a lot of different avenues to get business. I kinda thought it was I didn't know really know where it came from. I knew there's a lot of different choices. I was nervous about doing cool calling. It's definitely not my favorite thing that I do, but Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): I definitely have learned that there's a lot of different avenues to get business. I kind of thought it was I didn't know really know where it came from. I knew there's a lot of different choices. I was nervous about doing cold calling. It's definitely not my favorite thing that I do, but knowing that like I l love open house because I do really well when I get to talk to people in person. Like you said, they're already they're looking, they're actively there, but then also cold calling, social media. Justin Core: knowing that like I love open house because I do really well when I get to talk to people in person. Like you said, they're already they're looking, they're actively there. But then also cold calling, social media. I've had people reach out from all different avenues. So just you know, feeding each of them, just because you never know where the next sale's gonna come from or you're gonna be. Yeah, 100%. That's good. and then what about being around other people in the office? Has that have you felt Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): I've had people reach out from all different avenues, so just you know, feeding each of them, just because you never know where the next sale's gonna come from or who you're gonna meet. Yeah. No, a hundred percent. That's good. and then what about being around other people in the office? Is that have you felt just almost by osmosis a little bit hearing other people do it? What's tell about that? yeah, I mean I use Nicholas as an example. Justin Core: Just almost by osmosis a little bit, hearing other people do it. What tell me about that? yeah. I mean, I use Nicholas as an example. The man's a social media king. So it's definitely put pressure under me to get my stuff together and to actually get some video shot. And then, you know, even just like when Lori's sitting next to me in the office and she'll see me working on something and she'll go out of her way to be like, Hey, have you done this? Or just so you know, so like being in the environment has just kind of, you know, rubbed off in a lot of good ways. That's good. What's funny about Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): The man's a social media king. So it's definitely put pressure under me to get my stuff together and to actually get some video shot. And then, you know, even just like when Lori's sitting next to me in the office and she'll see me working on something and she'll go out of her way to be like, Hey, have you done this? Or just so you know. So like being in the environment has just kind of, you know, rubbed off in a lot of good ways. That's good. What's funny about you saying that about Nicholas, a lot of people are social media. Justin Core: You say that about Nicholas. A lot of people are social media influencers of sorts that don't actually make calls or sell houses or do open houses. Yeah. So I think it's it's fun to be around people when they're doing all of it. You know, because it's the if like if we just do one thing, like there's a lot of lot of lot of micro influencers that have never sold a house that look like they are always tour these houses, right? So knowing the person behind the Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): influencers of sorts that don't actually make calls or sell houses or do other houses. So I think it's it's fun to be around people when they're doing all of it. You know, 'cause it's the if if we just do one thing, like there's a lot of lot of a lot of micro influencers that have never sold a house that look like they are always touring these houses, right? So knowing the person behind the the image is it's critical, knowing that we can do papers. Pass that phone up here to Gami. Justin Core: The image is is critical knowing that we can do more is awesome. Pass that phone up here to Gamby. Gamby, you're you're still on the you're still on the the I would say like the swampy you're in the swampy middle because you're still getting trying to break away. I can say this publicly, yeah. You can. We're trying to break away from the safety and security of a nine to five route, correct? Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Gamby, you're you're still on the you're still on the the, I would say like the swampy you're in the swampy middle. Cause you're still getting trying to break away. I can say this publicly, yeah. You can. You're trying to break away from the safety and security of a nine to five. Correct. Tell me about that journey, thinking through that, planning to, you know, cut, eight, go. A lot of people give up when they say what's. Justin Core: Tell me about that journey, thinking through that planning to, you know, cut, bait and go. A lot of people give up when they say well, this real estate thing's obviously not gonna work when at the end of it you really have given it the like eight percent, you know, effort. Correct. What what's kind of given you the the feeling that you can actually cut and go? I think the biggest thing for me is I mean, like me personally just being raised around people, you know, have worked a nine to five. Yes, it's Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): This real estate thing's obviously not gonna work when at the end of it you really have given it like eight percent, you know, effort. Correct. What what's kinda given you the the feeling that you can actually cut and go? I think the biggest thing for me is I mean, like me personally, just being raised around people who, you know, have worked a nine to five yes, it's you know, I've always seen it provide for my family, but it's I feel like there's a lot of restrictions to it. So I mean, real estate was something of interest for me and Justin Core: You know, I've always seen it provide for my family, but it's I feel like there's a lot of restrictions to it. So I mean, real estate was something of interest for me and being in in in real estate for about a year now, but not being on a team, not being around the right people to hold you accountable, to push you, to make you uncomfortable with something that I didn't have in my circle. So just being around that has helped me now, you know, prepare to put in my two weeks and make that leap of faith into something that I truly want to pursue. So Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Being in in in real estate for about a year now, but not being on a team, not being around the right people to hold you accountable, to push you, to make you uncomfortable was something that I didn't have in my circle. So just being around that has helped me now, you know, prepare to put in my two weeks and make that leap of faith into something that I truly want to pursue. So I think being around the right people is is everything. 'Cause if not, it's really, really easy being comfortable, especially in a nine to five. So yeah. Justin Core: I think being around the right people is is everything to the tr it's really, really easy being comfortable, especially in a nine to five. So Yeah. even to the point where our comfort could be our like it could be it could be like an eternal like ceiling for us. Yeah. Right? I think I do think it is funny how people run to even in discomfort, they run to something that's predictable. like a Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): even to the point where our comfort could be our like it could be a it could be like an eternal like ceiling for us. Yeah. Right. I think I do think it is funny how people run to even in discomfort, they run to something that's predictable. like it's always fascinating reading in the in the old testament how the the Israelites, you know, they broke free from how many years of Justin Core: It's always fascinating reading in the in the old testament how the the Israelites, you know, they broke free from how many years of of of of slavery? they were the they were in the desert for forty years. And they're like, Man, we had it good there. They fed us, we had a shelter. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): of of of slavery. they were in the they were in the desert for forty years. And they're like, man, we had it good there. They fed us. We had a shelter. And so many people, it's so easy to do that. Even if you know it's not for good, you were doing you you want the thing that is predictable. Justin Core: And so many people, it's so easy to do that, even if you know it's not for your good, you were doing you you want the thing that is predictable. That's right. All right. let's talk let's talk getting started. Go back before you before you guys like were here, committed, licensed, and all that stuff. tell me about like the journey of wanting to go down this path in the first place. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Right. All right. let's talk let's talk getting started. Go back before you before you guys like were here, committed, licensed and all that stuff. tell me about like the journey of wanting to go down this path in the first place. Justin Core: Well we can pass back to Neckboard so we can start there. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Pass back to Nicholas. We can start there. for me, it was my whole life. I mean, I'm pretty young. I think I'm the I am the youngest person here. Right. 18 right now. but yeah, my whole life I just have had this entrepreneurial spirit, starting different businesses. And I've always had one goal. Like every business I started, I had one goal, and that's to get into real estate investment and development. It was just when I was younger, I got really interested in it and I really wanted to do it. So I was like, okay. Justin Core: for me it was my whole life. I mean, I'm pretty young. I think I'm the I am the youngest person here. Bragg eighteen right now. yeah. But yeah, my whole life I just had this entrepreneurial spirit starting different businesses and I've always had one goal. Like every business I started I had one goal and that's again to real estate investment and development. Just when I was younger I got really interested in it and I really wanted to do it. So I was like, Okay, Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Look how what how can I get to to a place where I can do this? So I was like, okay, let me Justin Core: well how can I get to to a place where I can do this? So I was like, Okay, let me Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): see what I can do. So I started all these businesses and in the end I realized, yo, if I'm a real estate agent, I'm gonna learn all this how the ins and out of this business. I'm gonna meet all the people that are already doing what I wanna do and it will allow me to reach my goals quicker. like I am I realize there's no there's not really like a ceiling Justin Core: see what I can do. So I started all these businesses and and I realized, yo, if I'm a real estate agent, I'm gonna learn all this how the ins and out of this business. I'm gonna meet all the people that are already doing what I want to do. And it will allow me to reach my goals quicker. like I am I realize there's no there's not really like a ceiling to what you could achieve in this business. I feel like put in the effort, put in the work. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): to what you can achieve in this business, I feel like if you put in the effort and put in the work, I feel like I could kinda just speed run it speed run into my goal of investment and development. And I wanna continue to do this while building that business in the future. And I hope I can look back at this in it too in the future. One thing that's interesting about that to me is you're talking about like, you know, a a stepping stone. So your eyes being downfield at something even bigger. Justin Core: I feel like I kinda kinda just speed run it and speedrun into like dual investment development and I wanna continue to do this while building that business. I hope I can build that fitness. One thing one thing that's interesting about that to me is you're talking about like, you know, the stepping stone. So your eyes being downfield or something even bigger sets your emotion for how you're gonna act today. Right? Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): sets your motion for how you're gonna act today. Right? If if your goal was hey I just want to be in real estate and control my schedule, that leads to a very menial existence in real estate. Right? Like not to say that's not a good that's not a big step from where you were previously, but but it's always interesting when you set bigger, whatever that bigger goal is, it makes you operate. I mean I just finished reading a book at all about scaling. Justin Core: If if your goal was, hey, I just wanna be in real estate and control my schedule, that leads to a very menial existence in real estate. Right? Like not to say that's not a good that's not a big step from where you were previously, but it but it's always interesting when you set a bigger whatever that bigger goal is, it makes you operate. I'm reading I just finished reading a book called about scaling. And and they're like, one of the biggest controls we have in our life Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): And they're like, one of the biggest controls we have in our life with when it comes to goals and reaching them is compressing time frame. You said I wanna sell, you know, three houses of mine, it's 36. Like if you said I wanna do that by the you know by the end of 2030, the question is what changes in your life today that's gonna affect something in 2030? If you said I wanna do that Justin Core: with when it comes to goals and reaching them is compressing time frame. You said I want to sell, you know, three houses a month, that's thirty six. And if you said I want to do that by the you know, by the end of twenty thirty, the question is well what changes in your life today it's gonna affect something in twenty thirty. If you said I wanna do that next year, like I've got what's the word in September? I've got four months Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Next year, like I've got what's you're in September. Four months to get my act together and be operating in such a way that it will produce that next year. Yeah. What does that change? It changes everything. Yeah. Right? It changes every step we make every morning. Yeah. yeah, it's like it's always like signing up for like half marathons races of some sort. It's like if I if if you told me, hey, we're gonna do a half marathon Justin Core: To get my act together and be operating in such a way that it will produce that next year. What does that change? That changes everything. Right? It changes every step we make every morning. you know, it's like it's always like signing up for like half marathons or races of some sort. It's like if if I if if you told me, Hey, we're gonna do a half marathon next December, you know what I'm doing today? Not a dang thing. Nothing different than I'm doing now. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Next December. You know what I'm doing today? Not a dang thing. Nothing different than I'm doing now. If you got if I got one this December, which there is OUC runs right through right by our office. December 4th, I think, maybe seventh. Maybe we should do it. it does. It changes how we operate. The hardest part about that race is brick streets and it's right after Thanksgiving. So control yourself. Justin Core: If you got if I got one this December, which there is OUC, runs right through right by our office. December fourth, I think, maybe seventh. Let's do it. Maybe we should do it. it does. It changes how we operate. The hardest part about that race is Brick Streets and it's right after Thanksgiving. So control yourself. I think for me, or bouncing off what you said, I I have a good example like before I even got license. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): I think for me, well bouncing off what you said, I I have a good example. Like before I even got licensed, I had a goal. I I I read a statistic, it was like people don't most agents when they get started, they don't get their first deal. it was either three or six months. It was most likely six months. They don't get their first deal in their six months. And I said, I'm gonna get my first deal by the end of my first month and I decided, I know my parents are buying houses so Justin Core: I had a goal I I read a statistic, it was like people don't most agents when they get started they don't get their first deal. it's either three or six months. Exactly six months. They don't get their first deal under six months. And I said I'm gonna get my first deal by the end of my first one and I decided, I know my parents are buying house, so I I honestly like that's a deal and I get paid from it, but I don't count it. So I was like I was fighting hard to get to like that standard that I set for myself, right? Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): I d I honestly like that's a deal and I get paid from it, but I don't count it. So I was like I was fighting hard to get to like that standard that I set for myself before I even started and I achieved it. So yeah, bouncing off just keeping it a de a tight deadline, a tight goal for you or will really just push you to do better. Yeah, don't one one beautiful thing, even if it is your parents, right? A lot of times Justin Core: started achieving so yeah absolutely just keeping it that tight that line tight for you. Mm-hmm. Yeah, don't w one one beautiful thing, I mean even if it is your parents, right? A lot of times we also do this where we we wanna have big goals, but then we we step over the things that are right in front of us as well. And having this balance is a big deal, right? 'Cause sometimes it's like I've got a buyer or a seller who is who is Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): We also do this where we we wanna have big goals, but then we we step over the things that are right in front of us as well. Having this balance is a big deal, right? Because sometimes it's like I've got a buyer or a seller who is who is Justin Core: active down, I need to devote a little more attention to get that finish line. And then I can look up and go to the next thing. And and we've got to we've got to let these things coexist where we're looking downfield and we're taking the short easy ones, right? I mean as as a football analogy. Like Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): down. I need to devote a little more attention to getting the finish. And then I can look up and go to the next thing. And and we've gotta we've gotta let these things coexist where we're looking downfield and we're taking the short, easy ones, right? I mean, as as a football analogy, like. Justin Core: just good you you love throwing the deep ball, but like sometimes the little right off the line slants what's gonna pick up the most yards. And so you don't want to overlook those. And so like your parents is a great example. Like that what a great Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Just good you you left though in the deep ball, but like sometimes the little right off the line slant is what's gonna pick up the most yards. And so you don't wanna overlook those. And so like your parents is a great example, right? What a great way to learn and be a part of that experience is going through that. everybody doesn't get that, but everybody, you know, is gonna have their first and maybe they downplay it as like, well, it's not a big price point, it's not this or it's not that. Like Justin Core: way to learn and be a part of that experience is going through that. everybody don't get that, but everybody, you know, is gonna have their first. And maybe they downplay it as like, well, it's not a big price point, or it's not this, or it's not that. Like use it as a learning experience. People pay so much to go to college. No discs on college, but I'm just saying you spent a lot of money there. Like if we took that same mindset to like Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Use it as a learning experience. Yeah. People pay so much to go to college, no dis on college, but I'm just saying we spent a lot of money there. Like, if we took that same mindset to like just getting through a few deals in the beginning, you know, doing the hard stuff and and and being having our time committed to the effort and the output and just learning, it doesn't have to be theoretical. You can get paid to do that. That's what's crazy. Justin Core: Just getting through a few deals in the beginning, you know, doing the hard stuff and and and being having our time committed to the effort and the output and just learning. it doesn't have to be theoretical. Like you can get paid to do that. That's what's crazy. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): all right. What else? I wanna hear what's on y'all's on y'all's mind, maybe looking forward. Like what's the biggest the next biggest concern you have now that you didn't have then? Justin Core: all right. What else? I want to hear what's on y'all's on y'all's mind. Maybe looking forward, like what's the biggest the next biggest concern you have now that you didn't have then? Whoever wants to take it can take it. I say keeping the momentum going. I was I felt very I'm very grateful for the one that I got, which was through an open house. That was my first contract. super nice lady, easy to work with. She wanted the second house I showed her. And now it's kind of like doing the things now that are gonna make the that Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Whatever fucking take. I say keeping the momentum going. It was I felt very I'm very grateful for the one that I got, which was through an open house. That was my first contract. super nice lady, easy to work with. She wanted the second house I showed her. And now it's kind of like doing the things now that are gonna make the that. kind of business continue to flow down the road. So doing the things like building relationships. And so like this is the time where I feel like we're doing a lot of a lot of work and it's not going to necessarily show out immediately, but just keeping that in mind that all this will pay off down the road. And so just having that that drive and motivation to stay on top of all of it, acting like it's providing us those paychecks right now because it will eventually. Right. Yeah. So how do you do that even what about when it doesn't Justin Core: kind of business continue to flow down the road. So doing the things like building relationships. And so like this is the time where I feel like we're doing a lot of a lot of work and it's not going to necessarily show out immediately, but just keeping that in mind that all this will pay off down the road. And so just having that that drive and motivation to stay on top of all of it. Acting like it's providing us those paychecks right now because it will eventually. Right. Yeah. So how do you do that even what about when it doesn't work? What about when you're doing it and you go through two months and there's no success? I'd say I like I like this quote. You'll be underwhelmed what you can achieve in a year and overwhelmed what you can achieve in five. So we'll shrink that down to if it's not working for two months, that's really not enough time. Like everything that I've been hearing and reading is six to twelve months, give it a full go, your full effort that full time. If after a year it's done nothing for you, then maybe reassess and adjust your effort, but Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): What about when you're doing it and you go through two months and there's no success? Like everything that I've been hearing and reading is six to twelve months, give it a full go, your full effort that whole time. If after a year it's done nothing for you, then maybe reassess and adjust your effort, but It's like, you know, you gotta it's like going to the gym for a couple of days and then not being in shape. You know, you gotta stick with it and you might have to make some modifications, but at least it's putting you in the direction. Don't give up too soon. One one of the things I think too, yeah, really, because I I love that. Like the gym's a great example of that. Like yeah, it's the the the the two months versus five years, like of consistency. Consist night and day. yeah. Justin Core: It's like, you know, you gotta it's like going to the gym for a couple of days and then not being in shape. You know, you gotta stick with it and you might have to make some modifications, but at least it's putting you in the right direction. Don't give up too soon. good. One one of the things I think I think to yeah, really 'cause I I love that. Like the gym's a great example of that. Like, yeah, it's the the the the two months versus five years, like of consistency is night and day. Yeah. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): So a lot of the things seem elementary, right? Where it and what's gonna happen a year from now, you're gonna be like, I've heard this before. I've heard Justin say this before. I've heard go to Gary Keller, I've heard him say this before, I've heard Leo say this before. And yes, the the the reality is it's true. What happens though is that Justin Core: so a lot of the things seem elementary, right? Where it's and what's gonna happen a year from now, you're gonna be like, I've heard this before. I've heard Justin say this before. I've heard go to Gary Keller, I've heard him say this before, I've heard Leo say this before. And yes, the the the reality is it's true. What happens though is that. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): I think Justin Core: I think a lot of these a lot of these things that are truths that will always be true, they actually open up and sh there's a new depth to them that you don't un you can't actually understand it now. And so for me, like we talk about the greatness tracker and some of the processes through there. And right now it's just like you're learning to put one foot in front of the other, right? We're putting one foot in front of the Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): a lot of these a lot of these things that are truths that will always be true, they actually open up and sh there's a new depth to them that you don't un you can't actually understand it. And so for me, like we talk about the greatness tracker, some of the processes through there. Right now it's just like you're learning to put one foot in front of the other, right? Put one foot in front of the other. Justin Core: other. But before you know it, then you're talking about running. But Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): But before you know it, then you're talking about running. But it it happens in the same tracker. It happens with the same process. And so some of the things you're doing are just going to continue to move at a completely different level. Your conversations, your relationships, the meetings, the groups you're a part of. You're now like, and so it's it almost gets easy to take your foot off the gas and stop doing it because you feel like it's worked. And now I've done that. Now I'm gonna try something else. Justin Core: It it happens in the same tracker. It happens with the same process. And so some of the things you're doing are just going to continue to, you know, to to to move at a completely different level because your conversations, your relationships, the meetings, the groups you're a part of. You're now like and so it's it almost gets easy to take your foot off the gas and stop doing it because you feel like it's worked and now I've done that. Now I'm gonna try something else. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): And so it's too many times. We just gotta go back to the fundamentals, right? And it's like do that more. I watch you watch a lot of like Alex Ramosy stuff. And he he it's so funny, people come to him with their their the business they're working on. I'm at, you know, a million dollars in revenue at this, you know, particular location, whatever it is. And I wanna my goal's to get to ten and and I was thinking about we're gonna roll out this new product and we're gonna roll out this new product and what he goes, why can't you just do Justin Core: And s it's too many times. We just gotta go back to the fundamentals, right? And it's like do that more. I watch you watch a lot of like Alex Ramosy stuff and he he it's so funny people come to him with their their the business they're working on. And I wanna my goal's to get to ten and and I was thinking about we're gonna roll out this new product and we're gonna roll out this new product, and we'll and he goes, Why can't you just do Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): one that's getting you to a million ten times more like you know it but and sometimes it's things like that to us that are so yeah that they're they're simple of like it works do it yeah and we gotta we gotta commit to that so you'll see the greatest track we're working on double in time and then it opens up this whole new world of like how do I possibly squeeze this in I got so yeah it's for me Justin Core: One that's getting you to a million ten times more. Like you know, it's and sometimes it's things like that to us that are so that they're they're simple of like it works, do it more. and we gotta we gotta commit to that. So you'll see the greatness tracker we're working on double in time. and then it opens up this whole new world of like, how do I possibly squeeze this in? Okay, so yeah, it's for me. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Something I've noticed or something at at least this week, like on Monday, I was thinking to myself, I was sitting on and I was actually sitting in front of the woodruff, like looking at the leak, and I was thinking, how what can I do to make what I'm doing right now even more effective? And I was thinking, what are the stuff what is what am I doing that seems like I'm doing a lot, but it's not really helping me? And what am I doing that I'm not doing enough that is effective? Justin Core: something I've noticed or something at least this week like on Monday I was thinking to myself I was sitting on and I was actually sitting in front of the wood rough like looking at the lake and I was thinking how what can I do to make what I'm doing right now even more effective? And I was thinking what are the stuff what is what am I doing that seems like I'm doing a lot but it's not really helping? And what am I doing that I'm not doing enough that is effective. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): So I was trying to like just reassess, see w how can I spend my time better. Cause I don't wanna just spend the whole day in the office every single day and just feel like I'm busy and not really get anything done. So like the the main things like for me, like you guys call me the social media king, but it's like for me, like I don't see that as a way of getting leads right now. It's just a way for to just stay on stay top of mind for other people that I have right now and I don't think I'm gonna get like actual leads. Justin Core: So I was trying like just reassess, see how can I spend my time better. Because I don't want to just spend the whole day in the office every single day and just feel like I'm busy and not really get anything done. Yeah. So like the the main things like for me, like you guys call me a social media king, but it's like for me, like I don't see that as a way of getting the leads right now. It's just a way for to just stay on stay top of mind for other people that I have right now. And I don't think I'm gonna get like actual leads. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): from it until maybe I get like ten thousand followers. But I don't I don't see that as like a main task. Like I see the main tasks as getting appointments, like in-person appointments, getting face to face with people, those calls, those open houses. And then the social media, I was like, okay, in the beginning I was spending two hour almost like two hours a day trying to like edit and film and all this. But then I realized i I'm gonna I'm not spending more than 10 minutes filming and editing a video. No. Because that's just it's just Justin Core: from it until maybe I get like ten thousand followers. But I don't I don't see that as like a main task. Like I see the main tasks as getting appointments. Like in person appointments, getting face to face with people, those calls, those open houses. And then the social media, I was like, okay, in the beginning I was spending two ho almost like two hours a day trying to like edit and film and all this. But then I realized I'm gonna I'm not spending more than ten minutes filming and editing video. Yeah. Because that's just it's just Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): It's time I could spend calling other people. Time I could spend like lead generation? Yeah, lead generation, just booking appointments with people, setting appointments instead of and then I don't know. I'm trying to think of other things that I do that could just be like wasting my time or it could be valuable, but it just like not spending as much time. Like so so think about anything. It's kinda where I get to on this conversation, because yes, I think there's Justin Core: It's time I could spend calling other people. Time I could spend like lead generation. Yeah, lead generation, just booking appointments with people. Sending appointments instead of and then I don't know. I'm trying to think of other things that I do that could just be like wasted my time and where it could be valuable, but it just like not spending everything. Well I think too like so so think about anything it's kinda where I get to on this conversation, 'cause yes, I think there's Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): I think we should all evaluate and audit our days and say, what can I stop doing that's actually not producing? Like that's the biggest waste is when we do things just because that's how we've done it. you know, everything that takes away from the main thing, stop. How do you find synergy in some of the things you want to do? Like, how do you how do you double down your social? Like this is an example. We're shooting some content, we're talking, we're having a conversation. Justin Core: I think we should all evaluate and audit our days and say, what can I stop doing? It's actually not producing. Like that's the biggest waste is when we do things just because that's how we've done it. you know, everything that takes away from the main thing, we need to stop. How do you find synergy in some of the things you want to do? Like, how do you how do you double down your social? Like this is an example. We're shooting some content, we're talking, we're having a conversation. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): probably helpful for all of us to talk through it in the first place. But you know, and we had to drive anyways, right? So like as we can start to find synergies between the things we're doing. So for you, if it's calling and then creating content while you call, like being a part of that. Yeah. Like people want to see that. They want to Justin Core: probably helpful for all of us to talk through it the first place, but you know, and we had to drive anyways, right? So like as we can start to find synergies between the things we're doing. So for you, if it's calling and then creating content while you call, like being a part of that, like people want to see that. They want to see people. so thinking about the things you're doing that that that allow you to be synergistic where you're intelligent multitasking, but like you're effectively killing two birds at once, too. Yeah. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): about things you're doing that that that allow you to be logistic where you're it's all like multitasking, but like you're effectively killing two birds with one stone. Yeah. Yeah. So that that that's what I would I would just challenge you to think through that. Justin Core: So that that's what I would I would just challenge you to think through that. Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): You know, especially if you're showing a house, like we talked about, if you're at an open house, yeah, it's not a waste of time to shoot a little video on the house. Yeah. It's not a waste of time like make some of your calls. And so why not always call from open houses almost? You know, it's like it's like that it's actually a better use for all intents and purposes. So let's Justin Core: you know, especially if you're showing a house like we talked about, if you're at an open house, it's not a waste of time to shoot a little video on the house. It's not a waste of time to actually make some of your calls. And so why not always call from open houses almost? You know, it's like it's like that it it's actually a better use for all intents and purposes. So what's Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): I was going to do Nicholas's open house yesterday in Daytona. So I listened to Atomic Hoth Habits on the Way Over. Turns out I already listened to it. It was in my library. So I listened to it years ago. So black. Well, like you were going back to the, you know, you you never stop learning. That's one of those things where I'll use like the cyclist example where he went through and modified each like Justin Core: I was going to do Nicholas's open house yesterday in Daytona. So I listened to Atomic Hot and Rabbits on the Way Over. Turns out I already listened to it. It was in my library. So I knew it years ago. I'm going through it again for like the fourth time. So wow. Well, like you were going back to the you know, you never stop learning. That's one of those things where I'll use like the cyclist example where he went through and modified each like Nicolas Toma (Orlando Realtor): Tiny little things, but across the entire board make a significant difference. So if it's like doing what Nicholas says and like spending less time on social, that gives you that much more time to put somewhere else. And well, there's small changes, but doing that all in all over your entire business can make a big change. 100%. Good stuff, guys. All right. Keep going. All Justin Core: Tiny little things, but across the entire board make a significant difference. So if it's like doing what Nicholas says and like spending less time on social, that gives you that much more time to put somewhere else. And whether it's small changes, but doing that all in all over your entire business can make a big change. Hundred percent. Good stuff, guys. All right. Keep going.
