Quantum Dispatch: What have been up to this week? Surviving, my man. I have been surviving. I think everyone has as well. Everyone I've spoke to is like, oh, I didn't even bother going into my room to play my PC. It's been too hot. And I'm one of those people as well. I've opted for my laptop in the kitchen just because it's all tiled. It's a bit cooler. It's out with the doors open, the windows open. Just surviving. I'll tell you what I've got back into though. A bit of stumble guys with the kids. They've been on half days. Lucky. Yeah, fair. So, yeah, we've been holding StumbleGuy tournaments. I've been. off Wednesday, Thursday, and a little half day on Friday. And then this morning, I get a bed until the half 11. So great success. But yeah, been probably avoiding my PC as well because of the heat. Hopefully it doesn't Hopefully heat don't keep up. I think it will apparently supposed to get hot next weekend as well Hmm. Yeah, I did hear that. It's back up. So like late 20s, isn't it? Yeah, I Don't want the heat. I really don't want that heat ⁓ How about yourself? Have you picked up Sand yet? There's a lot of people who are playing Sand right now. Oh, that's the Sand? Wild Blood West. Yeah. It's like the one that Kyosa's been playing. is, yeah. I've been watching his videos. It looks great. I think it's like good for like a week or two and then it'll be one of these games that I pick it up and everyone's like, ah, we've finished playing that. We're done with it. It's almost like any game, right? It releases and then everyone's like really bad at the game and it's just fun and it's a vibe. But then people after like one week, two weeks, everyone gets sweaty, the meta start coming out and then it's just no longer fun at that point. But yeah, now I've seen it. I mean, I know. I don't even want to play games as it is. So it's not something I'm probably going to be picking up. How about, I know you're not a massive like football fan, but World Cup, are you like... ⁓ I couldn't even tell you who's in our group. I heard on the radio that we were out of the group thing and we won or something. Yeah, we topped the group. Yeah, so that's the skin of our teeth. Yeah, that's about as much football knowledge as I've got. But yeah, no, race, it's not two glasses of milk time. You have two glasses of milk while you're watching. Right. Is this this inside joke? Is this something for air or is this not something for air? I mean, you can keep it as an inside joke if you wish. No, no, no. There is literally like zero context. There is nothing to share. That is the inside joke. There is no meaning. There's no real meaning. But let's just face it, if you do. ⁓ Five gifted subs just dropped in chat. ⁓ thank you very much. Is this you? No, but it has a very coincidental name. ⁓ And I got a less sub from that. Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you very much for the subs there. ⁓ What's your name? Because I ain't doing 13 rad. Wish the name, wish the number. Yeah. ⁓ But yeah, there is no real like context for the two glass of milk. But if you ever do pass, just know that on top of your casket, as you're being lowered into the ground, I'm going to place two glasses of milk on your casket. Is this for me or is this for him? For anyone. For anyone? Yeah, for anyone. Hand is sitting on your shoulder as your ace. I Yeah, I won't even sub to Mojang. So you look at that though. am I Where's my? Where's my name? It doesn't say it I've been I have been subbed to the channel for like over like a year or over like a year and half so I Can I can be let off every now and then? Just a little bit. Yeah, just a little bit. So you're wearing a relic Yes Yeah, a relic of good times gone by and we won't get those good times anymore. Which one is that one? Is that 68? 69? I'm gonna get a how? I think it was like 72. 71. 71. That was a good one. It was a good year. Yeah. So hello to everyone dribbling into chat. that you're actually dribbling. Half the chat probably is. What's the word? Just like, just dribbling, just dribbling into Trickling. Trickling. That's the one. Those trickling into chat. are just awaiting. We're tripping the anticipation. GFA's arrival. Kick started off, but we didn't want to leave you guys waiting. It's a good opportunity for me and CJ to catch up as well. ⁓ A couple of texts earlier talking about potentially LAN party event for next year. Looking forward to seeing where that one goes. We'll put out some feelers to some orgs, see who's interested. Reece taking the mick out of my helmet. It's got no scrim missing in it. Allow me. Fuel changes. I mean, we've brought these up a few times. They have done fuel changes, but they ain't really, they're not really fixing anything. What do you think they are night? That is night, isn't it? What do you feel about it? You think it's good? You think it's bad? You think it's like not good enough? Because I think they can do more and they well they will need to. Change is harsh, yeah. Does it have the same amount of quantum fuel or is it just not as economical? So it's got more fuel, it just drains it faster. Because if so, that's probably fine. I need to take a dump says, Pete, is that your fish tank or your PC? If you talk about this here, this is a Game Boy cabinet and ⁓ What? What call it? What'd call it? Game Boy cabinet. Okay, there's an ⁓ in there. Yeah, I say we run a fuel with the point a SCU is. What did he say? Yeah, ⁓ point a SCU. Okay, yeah, that's crazy. They definitely shouldn't have the same amount of fuel. That's what I'm saying that they I don't know who makes these decisions. And obviously, I'm on never going to listen to anything sort of like I say and we don't know that we don't know the best anyway but a ship that size shouldn't have the same amount of cargo uh SCU and I don't know what's the Ares what the Ares um changed to I can't remember but I did see the F8C had like something like 28 units of quantum fuel and they've reduced it down to like 0.8 and it's had like a 99 % decrease yeah some ships went up though You know what it is though, they've literally just tried to go, ⁓ crap, people aren't buying the starlight because refueling terrible. Let's just make it refuel more things. But then they've not realized it's now got to refuel more things. It can now refuel more things, but it's got to do it more often as well. So you're still going to be slower in terms of But anyway, hello, good of us. Evening. Raylan is pretty. ⁓ It is very pretty. The other one though, it's cool. I still can't get the image out my head. Or it's got like the hands pulling open it's eyes. Please no. Yeah, it's so good. No. ⁓ so they actually nuke the starlight as well. Okay. I do need some sun. ⁓ On the underside I need to like lay there and catch the sun on the underside of my arm. ⁓ Yeah, literally paste under the bed. Yeah, that's that's crazy really how You can't even refuel one Gladius That's that's ridiculous The way that was explained to me. It was just like someone obviously just didn't really think about it when they were implementing it. So it probably needs Everyone sit down that in the economy team from the ship team and just say right. This is what it should have and Yeah needs looking at it needs a balance pass for sure. Yeah, I get you're a mess. So yeah, I mean, I've been out and out and said from the start. ⁓ I don't like the game. I don't really care for the game because I'm more of a fan of the game engine and the development on it. ⁓ But yeah, no, I fully get it. It does baffle me how this thing keeps on happening. But it baffles me on how this stuff has happened since 4.1. And they've released ⁓ it released, they released broken patches. Every patch is 4.1 apart from like 4.3 or whatever it was. But people still play it. And they're still going, yeah, this is our most played month, or this is our most played patch and all that sort of stuff. I think that's, that's the most difficult thing for me to understand is the game is on a very, very steep downward trajectory, in my opinion. And is cloud keeps saying, yes, this is our top gross in month yet. So I think they're either fudging some numbers somewhere or they're not getting good analytics or people are just. Genuinely not that clever and speaking of not that clever. Hello GFA, you snuck in there. I did. I wasn't sure if my camera was showing up to the audience or if it was just to you boys or if I was in the back, the background. So I didn't want to say anything. Yeah. How are we boys? Sorry, I'm late. Sorry, I'm late everybody. For anyone on Spotify, a bald man just walked in. I don't know, I'm getting photoshopped in the group chat to be bald as well. I'll be joining you. What have I missed? I heard you saying that you feel like things are not thinging. It's the same argument I've had since... 4.9? Well, not 4.9 has come out yet. But since that sort of timeline. Just ⁓ talk about the fuel changes and... Yeah, mad that. Have you gone into depth of it? we were waiting for you. We haven't done an intro. So we were just chatting, just talking. So, yeah. Hello ladies and gentlemen. It is whatever episode we're on. GFA has just decided to turn up. And yeah, we're going to talk about some little things. I titled it a little bit of Evo chat. I think maybe we can touch on something like Siege of Orison because that's coming soon. What we're kind of expecting. And wave one, right? Things have gone wave one. There's footage of the heavy armour. Is it wave one? Yep, wave one. people are seeing footage of it now. So we've seen the super heavy, heavy armor. We've seen the cargo changes with missiles, which turns into like a crate kind of thing. don't know if you've seen that, it's not, it doesn't have any collision. So it's just a visual change. And it was salty Mike who made a really, really good point. Why bother doing that when they could have done like a missile rack that you load stuff on, then bring it up and then you can move. six missiles into your ship in one go rather than these fake racks that are being shown visually but you still individually move missiles it seems really stupid yeah ⁓ which i thought was yeah that was bang on like i would love if we could have a big rack that you just so we talk about small things and big racks One missile at a time is craziness is all I'm saying. It is, yeah. I mean, I can kind of get it with size fives and above because they're big, right? They're big and like chunky to hold, and they're easy to move. Size ones though, like what, the Cutlass Black holds something like 48 size one missiles? Or so ridiculous? That's going to be easy. That's one of the smallest like sort of like gunboats, gunboats, air quotes to refill. That's going to be crazy. They need to have like magazines almost. Like I said, they come in like bigger slabs and then maybe you can refill them in bulk rather than. Yeah. That's, yeah, it's crazy. It is nuts and it's a really good point and you've gone through the effort to design the visual change and it has no collision. So that also worries me for What's the stop if you put two of them in your cargo grid and they kind of filled out? You could probably have someone that kind of sneakily cheeses into the ⁓ Geometry of the of the rack and hide a little bit or you could hide an item in there Technically, you could put like a gun down and it would slip into the racks geometry You wouldn't be able to see it. It just feels a little bit silly like why implement something that just For what reason other than it just it's an immersion thing, right? There's no benefit to it to the gameplay So it just seems silly. ⁓ Yeah. Yeah. Then we spoke about quickly about the fueling. Someone said in chat that you can't even refuel a Gladius now with Starlight. ⁓ really? Which is is crazy. We have no idea who is making these decisions up. And I would genuinely love to have a chat with them. Like all of the decisions that they're making recently. All of the decisions. I would love to have a sit down. and just have that absolute chat and just work out what on the world are they considering? Like, what point do you look at a starlight and go, oh, yeah, that shouldn't be out of refill Gladius? Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I mean, but also they have roughly reduced all of the quantum fuel for every ship by 50 percent, right? So if your ship before could do like three jumps around Stanton, not that much, but you now can't do that. So you're almost guaranteed to run out of fuel with a lot of the smaller ships going from like one planet to another. And I get why they want to push refueling gameplay and that's fine, but they've only introduced AI refueling beacons. There's no player to player refueling beacons to say, to send the location for them to jump to you. can say, oh, run out of fuel and I'm here, but no one can jump directly to you without inviting them to your party and all that jazz. So It feels like why make that change now when you haven't implemented player beacons for refueling and it's just AI. doesn't make any sense. Yeah, no. And yeah, agree. It doesn't make any sense. ⁓ Knight said the Tiburon has the same amount of cargo fuel, QT fuel as an arrow. Like, genuinely, look, look at the volumetric size of these ships and just make it fit. Well, you can make it fit really easy. You just or a little bit on the floor and that's it, that's all you need. But like you could fit and you should have a higher proportion. They've done it the wrong way, right? They've nuked the sizes down when they shouldn't. They should have potentially increased the sizes of certain ships and then changed the efficiency of like the engines, engines. And then that way it burns quantum fuel at a faster rate, which gives you the same outcome in the end that you have to refuel more often. But like, When we did the maths, who was it? Did maths on, was it Twitchy in Alfredani? Did the maths on how many starfarers it would take to refill a starfarer. So a starfarer with its internal tanks empty and its cargo tanks empty as well, it would take a starfarer and so it like 92 of the fuel pods to refill a singular starfarer with its... six fuel pods or eight fuel pods, whatever it is. Jeez. They take 92 of them. And that was in the old, like, patches. So I don't know what they're going to do now. But it's that's horrendous. It's terrible. Hello, period. ⁓ But it's both of the fuels. It's like, do you the Starlight? How many fuel containers do you have? I actually I actually haven't spent any time to Yeah. Okay, so I think it's two. Yeah, and someone in chat can also say two. So that's quantum fuel and hydrogen fuel. Because you can't they don't mix you have to have a different tank for the different fuel. So if you want to refuel quantum and hydrogen, one ship can take like all of your quantum fuel, or all your hydrogen fuel. So now Starlight is only useful to refuel a singular ship on the battlefield. Which Yeah, and it couldn't If they're reducing the quantum drive range by 50%, you couldn't even like, you probably couldn't even get that ship to get to a station. If that makes sense. That's crazy though, isn't it? Yeah, it's just a massive oversight. It will change once people have got their hands on it and have flown it and then once the community complains enough, they'll change it. This happened a while ago. Well, I mean, like a week or two ago. I think one dot froze. No. ⁓ yeah. Yes. ⁓ he lost every lot. Yeah. Why even if you're a normal, intelligent man? No, well, I can't there. That answers that question. But yeah, obviously it will be fixed when enough folks can play, but why have they not just rolled it back? They've taken a gameplay loop that was pretty busted, but playable, to now a gameplay loop that you can't do with a ship that have just released. It's very, very strange. It's very strange. I do sometimes feel like... some decisions are not made by people that actually play the game, but at same time there's occasionally there's method to the madness, right? They do something really really silly and then it turns out there was a reason for it in like another patch, like the patch after. I'm hoping it's one of those moments where they go we've done this because xyz, but so far they've made a very drastic change on the on paper anyway. until we've actually tested it fully we won't know, but on paper it sounds like a really drastic change, and not really explained it, so it just feels a bit strange. I think I'm going to wait to pass judgement until it's in the game and I've experienced how good or bad it is, but the one thing we know for sure is that the quantum fuel on the starlight and such is just, or the refuelling in general, is terrible. But maybe that's why they've reduced the range by 50 % for all the ships. Maybe the point of it is the starlight becomes useful. I don't know. I think it's going to be a wait and see kind of job with that one, unfortunately. But you don't want to have like the starlight and you're going out on an org operation with like 10 ships and now you need 10 starlights at the same time so you can get to the opposite side of Pyro. You don't need that. ⁓ It's terrible. ⁓ My son's you crap. Hello, Alistair. Hopefully you've got your account also up already. But yeah. Yeah, it does feel like it turns into a bit of a silly gameplay, but I do think we have to wait and see until it's in our hands and we've experienced it for like a week or so and then we can have a proper idea. Yeah. Hey, thank you very much. Gnome 299 for the gifted subs. Yeah, thank you. Thank you. Much appreciated. So the other thing I did want to move on to him, I guess we'll crack on whilst we wait for Enigma just because I don't know, he has messaged us, hasn't he, saying that, ⁓ his internet's gone. So ⁓ we have no ETA on his return. So we'll continue, but we shall revisit anything when he managed to get back in. You're the host, aren't you? So just keep an eye on Katie request to rejoin any point. But the next thing that I saw was new ship hit markers. I don't know if you've seen this. But there are now hit markers for ship combat, which I personally like, but I know some people won't. And I would like to make my point as to why I like it. But what they do is they essentially have a different color, shape, layout for whatever damage you're doing. So if it's if you do damage to a component, I believe it's a double white X. If you just hit them, it's just a single white X. If you're doing damage to shields, it's a blue one. And if you're doing ballistic damage to the whole, it's a different color. Like there's different. They haven't given us like the mapping of what each color and shape means yet. I guess because it's subject to change and they're quite big, which is what the complaint I'm hearing a lot of people say is they're a bit egregious in your HUD and when you're shooting things. But other than that, I like it personally. I get that we want immersion and we love the realism of Star Citizen. Don't get me wrong. But we have to remember it is a game. And you don't always know what damage you're doing to another ship. And I kind of like it. I'm not saying that it's going to be for everyone, but I personally like to know what kind of damage I'm doing. And it's hard to tell that with the current systems in the game. There's no feedback for that. What do you think? So I'm just going to go out and say that if you have ballistic weapons, and you are aiming at a target that doesn't have shields, you're going to do armor damage provided you have the penetration. So you don't need a hit marker for that because there's no shield. You know what alpha, you should know what alpha damage your weapons are doing and whether they're good enough to fight that ship that you're fighting. If the target has shields and you've got ballistics, you should know that you're not doing good damage because Ballistics shouldn't propagate as well for your shields. They should still do damage, but they shouldn't do the full amount. If you've got lasers and they don't have shields, then you should know that you're not doing the best amount of damage you can. You should be using ballistics. But if they have got shields and you're using lasers, you should know that you're doing damage to their shields. So you don't need hit markers. So everything that the hit markers are doing now is irrelevant because you should know what you have on your vehicle to be able to do that. The only caveat I would say is ballistic alpha damage. So knowing when that is penetrating the armor of the ship. Obviously certain weapons only have certain alpha, but you can know that. It's not hard to know that. If you've got a meteor, you're penetrating all the ships. If you're using an arrow with size one ballistics, you may not. You may be able to take out PDCs or guns off turrets, but you ain't going to do whole damage. No, I would say that it's a little bit more. There's a little bit more to it, because obviously there's component stuff that sometimes you're hit and not hit. And it doesn't tell you the amount of damage you're doing or that it's just that where it just tells you what your weapons are sort of hitting. I guess what I like about it is it does become easier for newer players to understand what's going on. We have to remember that most of us have been playing this game for a long time. We understand what's going on because we've playing for a long time. They're starting to ramp up. They're starting to ramp up the ⁓ player feedback of like even the hit markers on helmets, on the military helmets that they get or the combat helmets that they gave us a little while ago. I think it would be nice to able to turn it on and off, but I think for new players, it probably is quite a good thing. I think it's it's it hard to fight in that game if you've never really done it before you're just starting out. I know I know there's part of me that goes well we've learned why can't they learn but they want to open the game up to a lot more people and I can't I'm there for it. I'd rather the game be big and successful than smaller niche but our little niche thing that we love I kind of want it to be good for everyone if that makes sense. That's just my opinion I suppose I want it to be a big MMO not just like 10,000 people playing it and that's it. You know I mean I get it. But it's like... So if we go back now, if we go far back to the flight moral changes, and I know Undark's sitting there now, like, twitching, or, tap me in, tap me in, I could argue about this. No, I'm giving up on it. But the game used to have... It used to have a skill diff. Like, you had to be good at the game if you were gonna get the best out of ships. Like, you had to be good. It just feels like the more and more we go on, it's just pulling that skill difference down. And it's just making the games generally easier in all sorts of regards. I'm not concerned about where we are now. Yeah, these hit markers coming on ships. Yeah, I'm not concerned where it is now. But what happens when they start implementing other things like gimble in on on weapons being stronger or something if someone complains and and they keep making things simpler and simpler and simpler. At what point should we just be playing like Elite Dangerous? Like at what point should we just be playing an arcade game? ⁓ And this is the forever argument I'm gonna have. I like mill sims. I like sweating games out and stuff like that. And then now we're in a situation where the game is just not it's we've lost looting which is one of the biggest impacts one of the biggest things for me loot in other players we lost that so now all of the pvp gameplay is practically null and void because you can get down and you can just backspace around straight back into congested zones at no loss yeah so like for me all of the fun parts of the game are gone But to be fair, that is temporary, right? We know that tier one and tier two of item recovery is being built. So I get what you're saying. fully agree. Yeah, it's temporary. But like these fuel changes, why have they implemented something that had no egregious effect on the game? I don't know. I think I think adding in item recovery, I was well against item recovery when it came out well against I made a whole video about it ranting about how rubbish it was and how it's ruining the game. I will say I personally think that I have played more since because it's less ⁓ grindy or friction based. Knowing that I'm not going to lose my shop bought armor as well permanently and have to melt it and rebuy it and all stuff like that. I think has made me use all of my armor at least once or twice at minimum. Like I've used every bit of armor that I've ever bought on the store or that I've ever earned in game that's super rare because I know I can't lose it now. Am I saying that's right? No, I think we should be able to lose it to an extent or it should degrade. But that's where the insurance system comes in and we have to maintain that insurance system to be able to keep it and others can loot it. So I think when tier two is in, I think it's going to be perfect. But I do agree with you. But also, I do think it has it has made more people enjoy the game in a different way to be able to use those different armors. The one thing it has ruined is contested zones. There's no two ways about it. That when they brought Item Recovery Tier 0, Contested Zones became terrible. And I don't disagree with you there at all. Yeah. It's one of those where, like... And One Dark's got a cover of his screen again, so you can't see his camera, because he keeps opening random webpages. He's trying to link all our mobile numbers again. No idea what was going on with that. And One Dark can agree, when Contested Zones came out, me and him... and more other people. Firefox browser still in your face. have no idea. But me and him and a load of other people, we practically ran like crews as well. We were in contested zones. And when I say 12 plus hours a day, whilst we were working, it was probably not far off a lie. Like we were there every day for a couple of weeks. We He's two clicks away from Pornhub. No, he sees his tab. He sees his tab. He's one click away. It's an old tab away. Yeah. And it's one of those things where we're like, we played that game and we probably put hundreds of hours in between the crew that we probably had. We played for thousands of hours if you added all our hours together in the space of a couple of weeks. And the amount I played probably then within a couple of weeks, what, two years ago, I know I've not even come anywhere near playing. over the last two years since that sort of wave, I've not played the game. because that's me, right? That's my personal preference. like first person shooters, like looting stuff and pillaging people's loot that they find in the contested zones. Whereas now there's no point because one, can either loot, loot, loot, get all the key cards and then just backspace and you fast travel to a location, which is what you had to deal with beforehand anyway. Or if you do manage to kill them, 50 % of the time their body disappears so can't loot it. And the other 50 % of the time, you can't loot anything off them anyway. You can maybe take ammo, which I'm just going to take an FS9 with like 50 magazines. I don't need ammo. So, I don't know. I just genuinely feel like it's... It was a big nail in the game for me. Yeah, obviously like you love that gameplay and looting other players as well on PvP and... You're not alone. Obviously, you're not alone there. So I completely get it. And as I said, I don't actually disagree with you at all with item recovery being rubbish. But I will say that I stand on that it became more enjoyable in its current state with it implemented than with it not because dying to bugs became less frustrating. I found myself closing the entire game down and sort of rage quitting for the night because of losing like rare stuff that I had. on my person at a time, whether it's a rare gun or rare armor because of a bug. So I completely agree with you, but I think tier zero has been net positive for the game, but it has alienated an entire group of people, which is people that like to PVP and loot. And I do not disagree that I think when they implemented it, they stole us the promise of it being temporary. And they said it won't be long before tier one and then tier two. And that was like a year and a half ago, however long it was now. So, yeah, that's poor form from them. At the end of the day, it's poor form from them. think it's coming. I think they said tier one is very close and then tier two after that, we've got craft and we've got the insurance refactor that they've kind of brought in. So, yeah, I know where you're coming from and I get it. And I understand just to swing it back to the original point that it's getting a bit more arcade-y in a lot of ways. But arguably it's also becoming like I'm like you. I love Mill Sims. I love armor. I love going into that super realistic immersive VoIP. I wish there was a VoIP in Star Citizen that worked perfectly because at that point I would never be in Discord. I would only talk through VoIP with my friends if it worked well. I love the immersion and the radio chatter. But equally I do understand that Star Citizen is such a time sync of a game. There's so much friction and laborious activity like loading cargo one at a time and stuff that Anything they can do to make it a little bit less like that, I think they should do. And I think the hit markers are not the end of the world. Like they don't ruin your gameplay for being in. I know you might not like them, but they don't ruin your game by being in the game when you're shooting something. It doesn't matter whether it's there or not. But for a player that's new and doesn't know what they're doing, it's going to really help them. So it's not really a negative for players that are experienced because it makes no real difference to them. But players that are brand new to it, makes their lives easier. And that, in my opinion, again, is a net positive and a win win all round for the game and the progression. I'd like to hear from Pete, though. He hasn't he's been AFK. ⁓ Yeah, my PC is like. Yeah, my PC, my PC just like just dropped the connection of everything physically there. Just I checked everything was working. So yeah, restart. ⁓ Sorry. I've been lining up a couple of. can't see his challenges in the background. What was it you wanted to my opinion on? You haven't listened to a word. I was, I was. Just remind me. Okay, what were we talking about then? I'm going to turn into your wife now. Okay, what was I saying then? god. No. Stop. Basically, we were talking about hit markers and the game becoming a little bit more or less... Arcade-y. And that's because we are preparing for inevitable console releases. despite the fact that when they released the Squadron 42 pledge ⁓ on Kickstarter, they said, this is a PC game. And then we've lost the old flight model, which was so good for racing. ⁓ But yeah, there was a significantly high skill ceiling, but there was nothing wrong with that. If you're going to put hundreds of hours into the game and get good at... flying and get good at dogfighting then you should be able to reap the rewards of that training. It's not, no one was cheating, it was just they were getting good. We know Chong personally taking on fleets of like eight ships and still coming out the victor. It's, was just the way of the game, like you want to practice, you want to get good. I mean we used to see weekly ⁓ training sessions teaching people how to merge with ships, going head to head. in Arena Commander training. You don't see any of that now. It's not in any of the orgs that I'm in the discourse for. No one is planning training sessions anymore. And it's just a shame because it's like, well, it's more time on target. If you've got your nose on, generally you're going to win. And that's just the way it rolls. I don't know. I haven't done enough PVP since the changes to say yes or no. But I get what you're saying. They have lowered the skill ceiling for sure. Like there's no doubt about that. Across all areas as we know. But I don't know. I think we have got to bear in mind that it's an MMO. There's a lot of players and not everyone has endless hours to sit and learn and learn every aspect of the game. Does that mean that people that want to dedicate themselves to being combat pilots should be better and have a better chance against three or four non combat pilots? Yeah, for sure. If you're more skilled, you should you should have a benefit of training and being better. And does the game cap you at a certain skill point at the moment? Yeah, for sure. And I'm hoping that there are going to be some changes. But I think For example, flying decoupled and in a certain manner, understanding the radar differences and how to put power into your power levels on radar so you can get a pip from further away. All of that kind of stuff that comes into combat and understanding ⁓ convergence ranges and engagement ranges and all that stuff and how to manage your energy and your boost, think still does provide a benefit to an experienced pilot versus a non-experienced pilot. But yeah, you're right. If there's now two or three you are you're done for. It's a hard line to walk because I know for a fact since the flight changes and it's in my videos actually, when I've been PVPing around Hathor, I did manage to kill three people on my own. I was in Hornet, there was a Hornet, ⁓ there was a Firebird and I think it was a Meteor. So it was that recent when the Meteor came out. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not saying I'm good. I'm just proven to the point that to Pete saying I was, I was, I'm not a good pilot. I'm not a good combat pilot. I'm not. Game rules don't Game rules. do mean? Yeah. This is a video. I'll, I'll link you my video, but the point, the point is it is still possible. ⁓ but I do not disagree. The skill scene is absolutely dropped away. There needs to be a fine line. If I don't know those videos where you just stumbled across a Sabre Raven. ⁓ One of those, one of those definitely not scripted videos. Yeah, that was great videos. That was a good, he had no idea I was going to come straight between the two of No, that was great. It was good times. Sick moment. It would have been sick if I crashed into you. No, Enigma DNF. Yeah. Standard. Do we want to... Do a concert challenge. I don't want to keep talking. So we're already left a little bit late. So we'll have to. No, no, it's fine to be fair. I opened up one. I was like, this is going to get, we could do this one in a second, but that will go for a proper one, I think. Let's do, let's do a proper one. So we have literally two more minutes to talk about heavy armor, cause it shouldn't take longer than that. Just your opinions and what you think about the super heavy armor and the mini gun and, and from what we've seen of it, cause they're hat you. way one footage now. How are you feeling about that coming into the game? yeah, is it something you'd use? Yes. I really love how they're implementing it, how it takes ammunition in the backpack. You can't carry anything other than that as well. You move super slowly. You can't holster the weapon. So you either holding it or you drop it. I'm loving. I really like it. I think it's very, cool. And I can't wait to see ships like maybe the Prowler having use because you can fly these guys straight in and then you just drop them out the side doors and like the Prowler and they're just already wearing up the minigun. And it's just complete death for the the yeah. Yeah. Or like ramp drops down, people walk out. That'd be brutal. Yeah. And it would literally be as they're marching down, they're just like four abreast with the miniguns already wearing and going. And then when they get low enough, the next four that come down the ramp are already like going as well. I think it'd be really, really good. It just has to be brutal. I think these miniguns, if you see a guy in this armor, you don't even like shoot him and go, I'm going to shoot and then like face check a couple of rounds. they should be like explosive rounds or something and they just put you on your ass. ⁓ I think they should be brutal. But yeah, I think it really cool. And what else have they added? That's pretty much it, right? Okay, right. Cool. Yeah. I think that's pretty good. What about you on that? I like it. ⁓ Yeah, it's an A10 for a second. Kind of share your sentiment and it's gonna be cool if you especially have a couple of just tanks heading towards an objective. yeah, it's gonna be handy to go and take out the sand snake and stuff like that. I think Hyperion's bang on as well. Like it needs to be something you cannot fly in. And I don't know if you can fly in it. I haven't actually seen you can. But that was EVO, so I'm assuming that. is probably going to change. Yeah. negative negative 15 g tolerance I think it was so not like 98 % like the normal like flight suits are negative 15 so yeah so much as like turn your engines on you're gonna you're gonna pass out. I can't help but feel like they should have left it until the suit the suit lockers were working because then we could have had it standing up in there and gone like kind of like the fallout fallout for power suits, the power armor. That's kind how I think it should have felt. Like you have to step into it like an act kind of like a mech, but not not quite. But the ATLS but like, yeah, you kind of like Tony Stark's like the old Squire man where you just kind of goes around during your carries on. I think that'd be pretty sweet. I guess you'd be worried that you could stack but they just have it so you can't get in it unless you're just in an undersuit. And then you fly in your overalls or whatever, take them off, put an undersuit on, step into it. ⁓ Yeah. I think, I think I would have liked to have seen a suit locker first before they implemented it, but it's very cool. I'm very excited for it. And I'm really, I'm really excited to have moments of, ⁓ damn, there's a, there's six guys in heavy armor coming down from that Polaris ramp. We need to get the heck out of here. Or one boom tube will probably sort them all out. we're fine. Yeah. Well there's, so Spike said, so right. Imagine the marketing department in cloud doesn't exist. Do you reckon it's going to be in the marketing bundle? Oh, it would definitely. Imagine the marketing bundle. Imagine the marketing team don't exist. No, that would be the stupidest thing they could ever do. Adding it to a bundle. That is such a pay to win thing. Yeah, right. Then they now have a marketing team. Yes, it's going to be. Yeah. What do you reckon? Oh mate, of course it is. It's going to be the patch bundle, isn't it? um, yeah. And it would probably be the most sold as well. It's very easy to get your hands on from wave one. It looks like any bunker you go to just has one out, like guy standing in it. You just kill him and take it. So it's no biggie really. If you want to waste 20 quid on buying it, go do that. But, um, yeah, I just wish they stopped selling so much gameplay. I get that it's easy to get for people and it's money for them. So it's kind of like who really loses, but, How would you feel if they sold a blueprint of this? Fine. Fine. Then you've got to earn it. You've got to earn the resources. You build it and it looks different to the normal one. That's how all of it should be. Everything that's sold should be a blueprint. Other than maybe ships, but arguably in the future, maybe ships as well, but because the cost of them probably not. But yeah, I think everything sold on the store, every gun, every paint should be blueprints. have to craft. That's just how I feel about it. The stuff is this is. It holds a significant power. Yeah, yeah, should be blueprints. No, I think that's actually a really good point if you think about it, if everything you could purchase, so everything you could pledge you got as a blueprint instead. Imagine the game drops. Imagine you get one rendition of the armor set, but then you get the blueprint as well. So that the game drops, you lose all your armor. Sick. Now you're at the same level as everybody else and you have to craft it. I think that'd be a fair trade off. I think that'd be a good little trade because you've got that blueprint and it's there and the blueprint will also come with a skin that you could apply on the base thing because like the Palantino going say Palantino armor because I don't know what the super heavy one's called, but you got the deadbolt set for the Palantino armor. And imagine now you didn't get the deadbolt Palantino armor, you just got the blueprint for that version of it. Because I think eventually all it should be is the pledges, all they give you is the base version of like an armor set, and then the paint that you can apply. The same way they're doing with ships now, you no longer buy a mole talus edition, you've got a mole with the talus paint. I think armor would actually be not that bad. being the same, then you'd have to worry about iron recovery because you die, you lose it. You still got the blueprint. Yeah, that's how it should be. It should be. Either you insure it and you can get it back with insurance, but it's expensive or you just have the blueprint. Yeah. And I think everything should be a blueprint other than ships, because all the ships are base anyway, right? They are just, I wouldn't mind if it ships personally. I wouldn't care if we had to craft them, but I get why people would be miffed off if they paid a grand and they had to craft the Idris and it took them two years to make it. So I get that. But I would like to see armor and stuff that's like 20 bucks and it's relatively easy to craft, you should have to craft it because you've got the blueprint. You're already a step ahead of everyone else that has to grind a hundred missions to get the same blueprint. You just now have to actually work to get it. So day one game goes live. You don't walk around in the best armor with the best gun and the best ship compared to anyone else. You still have to earn it. All the ships are base. Like every ship we pledge for is the base version that ship. You still got to go and upgrade it and make it a lot better with weapons and power plants and shields and stuff. So and a lot of them you can only craft to get the best versions of them. So or get them in a contested zone. So yeah, I don't know. I think it should be blueprints. we seen the special edition? The sorry, not special edition, this new armor set, the nine tails version. Have you seen the nine tails artwork changes just across the board? It looks so good. Like, genuinely. And I'm hoping these armor sets, the way you're to get these super heavy ones is you killed the boss. Like you go to ⁓ the what is it? ⁓ SPK and you killed the Crusader boss because there's a heavy boss there. Or you go in the contested zones and you fight in whatever related boss is there kind of thing. And then that boss has this armor set. I would appreciate like that sort of system. So it's. You know. if you want a particular type of it, you just have to go and farm those missions. But I know exactly what I'm fighting for. I know exactly what Keiko is going to be fighting for because the new Nine Tails... ⁓ paint scheme, the color scheme just looks so good. Yeah. It's so, so good. It's insane. ⁓ It's very like, I don't know what the design is, but it's very sort of Japanese, like an Oriental armor suit kind of thing. ⁓ It looks sick. Yeah, I think I've seen the one you're talking about. Yeah, it looks very, very cool. It's in the super heavy armor set. Yeah, yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited for it. I think it's gonna be really good. And I'm glad that they have kind of said, look, we're not gonna push Siege of Oris in an instance in into 4.9 if it's not ready. are they not? Oh, is it gonna be like, oh, yeah, we're not gonna run a free fly because the game's broken. then 33 minutes later, it's like here, have a free fly. Well, they've said wait until it happens. They've said that but wait until it happens and they don't push it. I can't even argue, so fair enough. All right, concierge challenge. So this is Vahilo's fleet. It's named the T'Pik fleet and his description is so. Most of the ships are there for entry level to mid level of each job line. So you have the ROC for gem mining, the GO for path, the Vulture for salvage, Prospector for mining, the Wolf and the RO for dogfighting and the Asgard is the daily flyer. It has the tanky feel to survive combat in space. Tons of space for cargo, multi crew and has some form of combat. The Asgard is basically the glue of the whole fleet. That is their fleet description. I couldn't disagree more. That wolf is never getting in the Asgard. Let's discuss. Yeah, there's no chance the wolf fits in the Asgard. I mean, it's half the length of got quantum drivers. Yeah, you don't need the wolf in there. You don't. And I the alpha wolf is... I love the alpha wolf. It's very, very nice. ⁓ There's there's only one Drake ship so I already think that CJ is gonna hate everything about this You ain't wrong You're not wrong spike. Is this your fleet? Is this you? So how much was spent 975 so that is gonna garner exactly response from GFA right there. Grid of Us is pointing out straightaway No medical. He is medical, no science, no bounty. You have the alpha wolf and an arrow when you could have dropped an arrow and got a medical ship or could have got the sen. You've got 25 dollars on top of that as well. How much is the arrow? 75, 80. Let's get that confirmed while we're talking. I mean, I'm not going to argue prospector, but you could have got the golem. It's better and like half the price almost. Yeah, no medical double headed with the geo in the rock. Yeah, they're double headed with the geo in the rock. They're double headed with the elf wolf and the arrow. I mean, arguably the Asgard is quite a good combat ship anyway. Yeah, it's got a lot of guns. There's people in chat disagreeing, but I really like the as God is actually one ship I don't have in my fleet. And I keep like looking, have I got anything I can logically but not spend much money on upgrading to get that? Not yet, but it's going in there at some point. Yeah, there's a lot of double hacking going on. As you say, there's some money left on the table as well. So getting rid of things that you've got a prospector, which is a mining ship. You've got a rock, which is mining and an Atlas Geo, which is all mining. I the the I get the ⁓ the the fact that it's different between a ship and ground mining. But if you have a geo, there's really genuinely no need for the rock as much as I love the rock. And I always say I want to see a rock in the fleet. If you do have an atlas, the rock does become a little bit pointless, especially if you've got a prospector as well. Obviously, this is more of a mining focused fleet. ⁓ There is a salvage ship outside of that. You can roll the rock, the geo onto the Asgard and take it to places. ⁓ It's missing a lot. As an all round fleet, if you needed to log on and do anything that wasn't mining and salvage. My struggle, like the combat there, but it's not good combat ships like the arrow is for smaller ships. Not anymore. It's too weak. That is probably where the skill does come into it with the arrow. But if you hit it with one size five deadbolt is red. If you get the shields down and you hit it with like one size five deadbolt, it is struggling. think you'll caveat that if it's in the hands of a good pilot. Yes, maybe. Maybe. You've got to remember the light ship meta has gone away. Even with good pilots, the light ship meta is you take the arrow and try and kill something like an Asgard. You've got no hope unless you've got all ballistics and you manage to pen the shields. The alpha damage just can't get through the shields. There are levels to the Light Fighter META going away and I do think the wolf's decent, but I would have dropped the arrow. I would have probably dropped the rock and done some more with that. I so looking at this fleet the I you could drop the Asgard if you're dropping the rock because the vulture can carry the geo I'm pretty sure I can carry the geo so if you wanted to go out and do a little mining op let's face it you're in a geo so you're doing a little mining op you're not going to want to take a ship as large as the Asgard the only caveat to that is if you had a medical ship then yes you could because you could take the medical medical Like the nurse sir and the geo at the same times you've got that Sort of like medical backup as well. Hmm, but I Don't know. I don't feel like The as guard is as useful as it could be here. It's not It's not being used in its full extent so I would either Drop the as guard the rock and the arrow or I would tame the Asgard and drop the wolf and the arrow in favor of having a medical ship inside the Asgard with the geo and having that sort of like triple sort of like synergy, the little triangle. But yeah. I don't know, there's a lot of double tapping and then there's a lot of empty, like, untapped career loops at the same time. So you say you would drop the Asgard, what would you put in its place? I would go for a better all-roundness, I'd go for a bounty hunter, so Cutlass Blue. What's Asgard? 350? Asgard's 3... 7.5? Something like that, Asgard is 350. 350, yeah. So I would go for a Cutlass Blue. So I've got... ⁓ Interdiction Bounty Hunting ⁓ sort of nipped. And then I would potentially then drop the other cargo ships as well, because you've got colors blue, don't need it. ⁓ And then you can take the geo actually in a blue ⁓ also. that's, again, that's in my fleet that I've chosen for this. It's a very good ship to have. ⁓ But then Is it really though? 175, I've got another 175 to play with though. So I can now go for the starlight for a bit of refuelling. Or if I do have that and I drop the Alpha Wolf and the Arrow, can now have a CAR for a ship. Or I drop all of the rock, fighters, and then I can get a clipper in there as well. So I've got crafting. I don't know, there's so many different things you could do. And obviously the ones I choose are the best sort of things to do. For you, this is the beautiful thing about the concierge time. Yeah. It is highly subjective. We all like our own. That's the thing. I think with these fleets, like if you're going to go down that avenue, you might as well say, get rid of all of it and put this fleet forward instead. We kind of have to pick it. We have to like pivot around like their main ship in the fleet, I would say. that we can't really say like, take it all out, get rid of all of it. Because then at that point, it's not their challenge anymore. ⁓ I would say that the Asgard would stay because that's probably their most pivotal ship, I think, is the ship around the Asgard that we need to to look at. ⁓ And I actually love the Asgard. It's got what, four, six size sixes on it? No, not size sixes, six size threes, I think. If you have all those just like deadbolts or I don't know, whatever, some ⁓ ballistic weapons, maybe a couple of laser weapons in there to get the shields down. That is a deadly, deadly ship. ⁓ It's got a lot of space in the back and carry a lot can do a lot good for cargo runs good for vehicle management. I think there's just a ball been dropped. You've got a really good tonk carrier, and just a general all rounder, you should have had. ⁓ And you've got no ground vehicles there should be a medical. So they're at the very least. ⁓ We've got too much double hat and and with and with to what's 25 pounds below budget, we know, which we know it gets rid of points. I think when you're going for this, in this situation, L22 is $120. You've got, I personally would have dropped the Gio and the Wolf, kept the Asgard, got the Ursa, which is 60. Hmm. You say like, you would love to have seen a Tonkin there. What's 120s? So now we need to make 100. We never had one and that would have been really good synergy for me. Because 120, you've already got 25, so now you need to make $95 up. Drop the Alpha Wolf. There we go. Alpha Wolf is 120 anyway. Yeah, so just straight swap the Alpha Wolf. And then potentially drop the Rock as well. And now you've got enough for a Nurser. And you can't take the Tonk and the Nurser. as you say. drop both, can't you? Drop the Geo. That's 45 and you've got 25 on top. So you've got enough for your Ursa. Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can put both in the back as well. The Tonk fits as well as the Ursa. I'm pretty sure. The Asgard is big. At the same time. She thick. Yeah, she is thick. Asgard is an amazing ship. That's what I'm saying. That's probably my favorite ship in the fleet. That and the Prospector. I love the Prospector. Prospector Vulture Asgard stays. The rest is where I question the geo I think stays as well. I the rock and the alpha wolf get rid, get an Ursa and then whatever you're left with. ⁓ Yeah, there's so many options. You could do a lot of lot of gameplay for sure. He wants to see him drop the prospector and get the Atlas and the geo. Interesting. I can see the rock. Yeah. ⁓ I can see the Atlas because then you've got the cargo loading capability. ⁓ So you can load the Asgard ⁓ better. would either... If you have an Atlas, I would say drop the Atlas Geo because then you can use the Atlas to throw the rock out of the Asgard kind of thing and just moving everything around would be so much simpler. ⁓ I just think it's weird having an Asgard... alpha wolf and an arrow. Again, I think I sort of like twist a lot of fleets to what I would do because it's the right answer. it's quite... ⁓ Yeah, like I said, it is subjective, but there's so many different ways we could have rotated this fleet around and done stuff, which for me doesn't fare well in this situation. I think there's three solid choices out of the seven that's there. And as I that's the vulture Asgard prospector. The rest is questionable. Keep the arrow for combat. And then those last three, you've already got a mining ship. Do you really need a geo? Do you really need it? You definitely don't need a rock. Do you really need a geo? I mean, it's great for caves, but for mining materials, you can always hand mine by hand if you absolutely need to. The geo just was like a bit of a waste, same as the rock. You've got a prospector to do the domain stuff that's going to help you get the crafting materials that you really need So there's definitely some money on the table there where there's a bit left over which is a point deduction for me because it's quite a substantial amount left over that you could have rejigged especially if you got rid of one of the ships you have had a lot more money money to play with so I Don't know if you guys are ready for scores on the doors But I'm in chat scores and yeah throwing your scores in Out of There's 25 dollars left over. You just thrown in a raw in there. Just to top it off. Are they still 25? Yeah, I think. Yeah, the ES Mark 1 20. Yeah, so I would have just snuck one of them in there. 4.8. Gridamus is always so savage. Every stream Gridamus goes in with the most savage scores. You wait, you wait. Whenever we do his, will be like, oh, 10. Yeah. It create an auto account just to get a 10. Gridamus had a good fleet last time, didn't he? Yeah. He had a solid fleet. I think he was like a 7. Slump drop in their 5.5 save. From the eyeball it looks like we've got like a 5.56 average so far. Keep the scores coming. Give us your reasons why as well. Is there something that we've missed out? Just going to throw it out there as well. So currently we have Stillwookabeast on a 7.98, Doreen Smith on a 6.5, Kobe on a 6.1, Nightfire on a 5.5. So, yeah, I mean... Are we being brutal? Like, no. These are lower scores than last the pilot season. think we've got a better base now. We realize we grading too high. you can't grade too high because then you leave the ceiling too up there. ⁓ But also like I just think it doesn't it really doesn't help with the the lack of fullness and leafing money on the table. That's already a point deduction. ⁓ Just quickly, I've just gone to the site to see the leaderboard for myself and I can't see the concierge challenge button. Yes, so picture. Yeah, I think I've tied it up a bit. So go on to your discord profile. So when you go to the content dispatch website, ⁓ you've got the up on the top right, you're logging with discord. So you need discord to use the concierge challenge. So what I've done is I've moved everything into there now. So it tidies it up, it removes faff pages. Click on your profile picture, there's an entry for concierge challenge. That will take you to the rules. TLDR, you will lose a lot of points if you don't follow the rules. And then at the bottom, you have the leaderboard, which is now in a drop down to hide it. All of these episodes that we've recorded for the conscious challenges in there as well. And also where you can create your fleet and also review fleet so you can create as many as you want. And it will save on the website. And then when you create a fleet, will ping an email to us, we'll then review it and then get to you. But we have we do have a backlog. We keep saying we'll get over it and we'll fix it. ⁓ But we will have day jobs. We're all busy. But we will endeavor to catch up. So, Swift Dream says minus one for unspent money. Minus one for multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-mult 6.5 minus one no medical hitting in brackets the clipper man man there's this stuff um yeah and 0.5 because not a lot of this guy the clipper the clipper would have solved a lot of issues here get rid of things like the rock the alpha wolf you've already got the money for the clipper That would have covered medical would have covered. Crafting would have covered, you know, yeah, it would. And you could have put a geo on it as well. You could have kept the geo, put it onto a clipper and done some, some ground mining. So actually fit. Yeah. The geo does. ⁓ wow. So I think, I think there's, there's levels that have been missed. Definitely. So yeah, keep them coming in chat. If anyone hasn't given that anyone hasn't given their score yet. And just again, this is a concierge challenge. get a thousand dollars. and build the best all-round fleet you can and imaginary $1,000 you don't get you don't get $1,000 we're not giving you $1,000 that'd be such a cool prize on it top person get of the season gets their fleet that would be great oh mate not one day one day we'll be big enough to do that maybe as a sponsored video one day we can give the whenever we get to that episode 100 maybe we should do that like we whoever's uh Submitted the top of the leaderboard with Concierge challenge of all time. I feel like the Mr. Beast of Star Citizen World. All right, one sec. Slash Ban Eason. It's penalized trink. They are scrap, but have a lot of gameplay flexibility. This competition doesn't account for durability and style. You're absolutely right. It doesn't. It doesn't, but it is also an all-round entry level sort of like. Challenge so what's more entry-level than Drake? Honestly my my fleet when we get around to roasting each other's concert challenges ⁓ My fleet is is Impenetrable there's no like there's no thing you can mark against it look forward to next week ⁓ The wonderful Dan by the way has said zero out of ten nothing to casually daily drive It does kind of make sense. mean, I would argue you can just about daily drive the Asgard, but she big. She big and expensive to run. That's where a message again, a clipper would have been a perfect slot in on this fleet. So it does have a message in YouTube. ⁓ right. Okay. Unfortunately though, Dan, I'm not taking the zero out of ten because that would completely screw the scores up. So if you have another score you'd like to give, I will take it. the zero is... The poor average will go all the way down. CJ's Drake fleet will be eight golems. Well, it wouldn't be eight golems. You would only need one. And that does combat and mining in one go. So, yeah. And a daily, I suppose. But yeah, I so I've got to be quite harsh on this because of the comparison with Kobe's fleet from last week. ⁓ So I just pulled up Kobe's fleet and I looked at it Kobe's fleet double taps a lot of stuff as well. Arguably, this double taps a few more things and misses quite blatant sort of synergies ⁓ with the lack of... using the full amount of spending as well. ⁓ It does have, however, a description. ⁓ obviously, he said the person didn't... Obviously, first language was in English, but it doesn't matter. We got the point now. We understood why he has things. it was a decent description as well. There was words, not, got this because ⁓ AI told me to. There's there are points there. Yeah. But yeah. ⁓ Well, actually, on that point, Kobe did actually comment on the video says to clarify, I didn't use AI to build my fleet. I used it to verify the AI itself rejected the Starlawns and Max for lacking medical beds, selected the Taurus for cargo, the Cutlass Red for medical, and I personally chose the Gladius over the Mustang Alpha. Could you bring up his fleet on the screen side by side with this one? I am going to go and just say no, we don't do just because it's comparatively, it's live. Also trying to rate someone's. Okay. Okay. Yeah, that's fair. However, they would be very near next to each other on our website. ⁓ I think the score is going to similar and I for what it's worth, I can't remember what we gave last year. So I think it will end up being very close. I think we're getting close to vote any more scores in chat out of 10. as an all round fleet where you stick with this, we've, we've, have pulled it apart. I think we've been maybe a bit not, I think we're maybe a bit brutal in some areas, but I think there, there are some very clear wins that have been, you know, some, some own goals here. There's been some own goals. So yeah, think I am going to go. a six. I'm also a six. Yeah, I think I'm a six. I am a 6.5 baby. I love the Asgard. I like it too. Not as much as me. No, not. Do you to put the text up on the on the screen? Yeah, and I'll work out the chat average if there's any more in. Okay, Gridimus has gone to a 5.8. Okay. Yeah, was teetering, I was trying to find a reason to go down to a 5.5. But I do think because of the description and there it retains a bit. I think the fleet overall was a bit better than Kobe's last week. Just generally laid out, but being short by $25. And as well as missing some easy wins in my eyes that could have been fixed with this $25. I feel does grade it down a bit. It'd be interesting to see because I've seen some I've seen some sevens in chat. So it should pull the average up. Yeah. So to be clear to everyone watching or listening, this is purely for fun. This is all like just a mental gymnastic exercise. It is just to see. what you would fill your $1,000 fleet with. The rules are there just to give people a bit of guidance, but you know, we're pretty fluid. We're all subjective. We like what we like. We dislike what we like. Don't take it too personally. If we mark your fleet down, again, it's just for a bit of fun. It's not like there is actually a thousand dollars on the line, but it might be one day, but we'll see. But yeah, just take it in the spirit of the game and just have fun with your fleets and put it in your description. Don't take it too seriously. Yeah, for sure. The point is to be an all-rounded solo fleet. Try and cover as many loops without ruining your fleet, basically. We've listed the judging criteria as career loop coverage, creativity and synergy, value for money and presentation and pitch. So value for money straight away. Vulture versus the fortune or Fucina. It's fortune, isn't it? Where it's like they've got pros and cons, but realistically having a fortune is a con and having a vulture is a pro is not even the rule of call with it because it's a misc. Yeah, definitely a con. then these two out of three of us will say con, George is a huge misc fan. I love misc. He's like, no, this is war. It's a serious, serious business. Eason, let's see your concierge challenge. Yeah, come on, Eason. Put your money where your mouth is, Put your fake money where our mouths are and do it. Chat, by the way, 6.5 average. 6.5, so I was Bob on. Yeah, so that takes us to a 6.25 then. Yeah. Nice. Okay. So 6.3, don't we round up to the nearest one or are we doing two decimal places? I think we round up to the nearest one. Do a three, makes me feel a bit better for writing them as low as I did. For interest though, what would the average have been if we put Dan Zero in there? Okay, if we had added Dan Zero to that, would have been... Hang on. Well, actually you can't work out an average because there's a zero I have to do it as a one Yeah, just doesn't add one does and they use zero you just divide it by an extra. Yeah. ⁓ yeah true It's not worth entertaining it's not a zero it can't possibly be zero even a winner five so Yeah, so that's I Think that's a decent score. I think six point three doesn't feel hard. I think it's middling I think if you're above if you're above 5.5 in this challenge on this series of the concert challenge because we were definitely too high last time. We were too generous on the last on the pilot series. So now in season two of the concert challenge, I think if you're above 5.5, you're between 5.5 and seven, you're middling and that's a good place to be. That's not bad at all. If you get above seven, you're doing pretty well. If you get above eight in this season, you know, you've smashed out the part. I can't wait you to rate my fleet and we're getting in 10s. can't wait to give it to And everyone's going 10, 10. We have to ignore chat when we do my fleet as well because it's going to be biased because I've just been berating everyone for the last year. How much time we got? We could just roll straight into it. No, no, no, no. I don't know. I'm already 21 minutes over the time I wanted to be You can't rate your own fleet anyway. I feel like we need Jack back for that one. Yes, it should be all of us. Or we can get a guest speaker in. Yeah, we should start doing guest speakers. have the capability with our platform that we use for streaming. So it would be cool to start getting people to call in and I have I have a guest speaker kind of like on the fence. So we'll see. We'll see. We should what we should do. Maybe one of the episodes in the future would be quite fun podcast to do. Anyone and everyone can call in and they just put a request and we can maybe do like a topical thing like these are the topics we're going to cover. If you want to call in about this topic, put your name against this topic in the, in the discord. And then we could just get a list of people that want to chime in at certain points. I think that'd be good. Get some chat integration if they're happy to be on camera or just a voice, whatever. ⁓ on camera preferably, because then you're held accountable. If you start saying some mad stuff on stream. yeah. You're right. So if we could, if you're on camera, you're not, might not be as brave. So I think that's probably the way to do it. Yeah, all good. ⁓ Yeah, that's good. I'm content with that. ⁓ Yeah, are we doing mine next week then? Are we going to do it? Okay. We need to make sure Swanky's available though. We'll find out if Swanky's available. Yeah, let's see what Swanky says. Do know what? I think next week we'll frame it this way. Next week we are going to do one of the Quantum Dispatches fleets. Might not be CJs, might be CJs. We don't say who's. There's none of that in chat. And I expect all of us to play the game. I might even put my fleet and be like, Hey, but like, frame it as though it's someone else's fleet. You will have to accept it as though it's someone else's fleet. And we do it like that. And that way it doesn't skiff. Can I just say there's been a very interesting message in chat from down on YouTube. Dev fleet review when? Is this dev fleet? fleet as in the fleet that you've worked on. We've been saying this for so long. That would be quite interesting. Yeah. Are we saying, are we saying a devs idea of the Conceo challenge or what they submitted or are we saying the ships that a specific dev has worked on like every ship, let's say. Both. Let's do both. That would be quite fun. But then are we rating body of work for someone? Is that a bit, I don't, I don't know if I want to say rating it, but like have a look at. Compliment. But then we can't give it a score, we? When Dan goes, If have give everything a score. Yeah, when Dan shows us a ship and we're like, oh yeah, it's fine. And he's like, I'll work on this. I'm like, Stinger, four mate. With milk. The fleets they've worked on. Well, I mean, we potentially could just do a special at some point and just talk about the whole thing. That would be a fun episode. What's that game you play as a kid? it Kissed, Marry, Murder or something like that? Oh, Stomp, Marry, Avoid. But with ships. Yeah. To be fair, ⁓ Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. do some dev packages, couldn't we? As in like some packages of ships that dev has worked on and then talk about that as a, as a whole would be great. I think that'd be good. ⁓ yeah, I think that that would be. Has Dan clarified what he meant? I don't have the YouTube chat. Oh, sorry. I thought you'd read it. He's worked on. Yeah, the fleet is the ships that they've worked on. So we grab a fleet of the ships that the devs worked on and then we go from there. That would be interesting. That would be. Well, if we didn't know who the dev was, maybe have to guess the dev, like what they've worked on. We could have some fun with this. There's a game in there that we can make. Maybe we all build up one fleet from one dev each and then the other two have to guess. Who the dev was. They can provide them. We just get the team to provide. Sure. Send over a list. We put it into hanger link and then yeah. Okay. Jason for you. That'd be good fun. Well, I'll ask your boss if you can come on and give us a 10 minute rundown of your fleet though. Yeah. Get your boss on. You can just sit there. Huh? What do you think about this ship? Huh? Yeah. We need, we need CR to do a conscious challenge. Imagine. Imagine we get CR to do a Constellation challenge, the game that he's designing. It'd be Three Constellations. He loves that. yeah. I mean, we can only dream, right? But I mean, yeah, done. Good idea. Yeah. So let's see where that one goes. All right. And I think that is the episode, ⁓ the episode that is the end of episode 13 of the Quantum Dispatch. 14. 14. of the quantum dispatch. God, are tearing along now. We need to start thinking of some specials to do, like maybe every 20 or every 15. We're closer approaching. Yeah, spammer, you get caught by AutoMod. Nerd. It was me. Which is rapid. I was saying, you got caught by AutoMod, then you denied it. Yeah, sound right. Well, yeah, I'm good. Any any five points? No, looking forward to four point nine. Looking forward to all the all the good stuffs. And yeah, I'm enjoying the grind at the moment. So. Yeah, the next one. I'm sorry, I seen Captain S. Show you right in chat. Every 20 equals event at the Space Center. That would be good. That would be good. Yeah, that might be pretty sick. Yeah, thanks for dropping in. See you again next week where we'll be reviewing one of the Quantum Dispatch's own Concierge Fleets for you to roast us. Looking forward to it. See you then.
