Aly: I think you know, we've have on average about seven listeners a week. We need to start instituting some changes. Mike: Yeah, I blame it's because Mike doesn't come in on time and he leaves early. That's why we only have seven listeners. Mike, people they demand your your acceptance of the time start and of the time end. Michael: Here's the thing, I'm just here so I don't get fined. Mike: All right. Here we go. I think we have a start of passing down the pride this week that is a little more melancholy, I gotta start with. That was a that was a tough game. It was a tough game. Aly: You know, there's a part of me that immediately after the game wants to record a reaction. And the fact that we're doing this Mike: It's a good thing I didn't. Aly: seriously, and the fact that we're doing this on Thursday, I feel a little bit more level headed about it. I don't know how you guys feel. Do you feel worse or better now that it's Thursday? Mike: I feel better about it. I don't feel worse. I don't I couldn't have felt felt worse, I don't think. Aly: Okay. What about you, Mike? Do you feel the same? Michael: I'll tell you about my journey. felt pretty bad on Sunday. Probably the worst I have felt in a while with this version of the Detroit Lions with Dane Campbell. And then after thinking about it and maybe maybe coping a little bit. You know, I'm a big listener, Pride of Detroit, listening to my Pride of Detroit podcast, I felt okay. You know, I was thinking, look, we We have a good offense, we have a talented offense that can put up points, we have a defense that can rush the passer, which is something that I would have given my left arm for last year. We just we we can't figure out the back end of the defense. With that being said, I read about Kelvin Shepherd's press conference today and then I just started Mike: I watched it. Aly: I listened. Michael: I started watching it a little bit, and I f I feel worse again. Aly: Mm. Mike: Yeah. When he's like those were the right calls and the guy's like like so nine times you guys blitzed and eight times it worked, right calls. Right calls. Michael: It like to me that it's like some people like, you gotta take accountability. I I don't actually care about accountability. Like, whatever. that just makes us feel good, right? But I think it's less about accountability and more just about insight. Like Mike: It's about he says first he started off that podcast with or that press conference is I don't want talk about stats. Did you see that part? Aly: Yes. Mike: So let's talk about stats. We are thirty-one in points allowed out of thirty two. We are thirty two in net yards allowed. Thirty two in net casting yards. We are thirty two. Aly: Who's thirty two? Who's worse than us? Mike: Nobody. There's only thirty two teams. Michael: points. Aly: No, in points aloud, who's worse than us? Mike: New Orleans. Aly: no. Michael: Yeah. Mike: Yeah. I mean, you cannot be literally really can't be much worse than what we are right now in defense. Michael: Yeah. Mike: And and to say those were the right calls is just tone-deaf to what you're actually doing on the field. And Michael: Yeah. Mike: and by the way, if you look at let me show you something that's gonna make break your guy's heart. I got another little stat for ya. And this is Aly: Thirty two in third count conversion rate sounds right. Mike: Very small, very small sample size, right? I get it. so what are you gonna it's it's very small. You see in this? Do you see who number four is? Aly: Sorry, Amique Robertson. Mike: Is the fourth best cornerback in the league right now. Smart very small sample size. Very small sample size. Michael: Yeah, he's having a career here. Mike: So last year it was his c his career worst. Well, besides the first two years when he was just getting used to the league. Besides that, he was a very average middle of the road cornerback. And last year somehow we made him worse. And then he went to Washington and now he's eighty four point six. And I'm wondering if if what we're doing isn't putting people in positions to not be successful. Aly: Was it Amique Robertson who was put on Justin Jefferson in that Vikings game? and he Michael: Yes. Yes. Aly: did so good. Yeah. Michael: Yes. And I think too, this is the part that really bothers me about Shepp's press conference. And I I try not to overreact to press conferences because ultimately it really doesn't mean anything. And he could have just said, I called that play, we didn't execute, should have called something else. Or that didn't work. we have to look at why that didn't work. Right, we're talking about that cover zero blitz in the red zone that left their best player wide open. and it could have been look, the players messed up. Right? And he didn't but for him to say no, that was the right call, like one one, you either there are two things that are that could be true in this scenario. One it was the right call and you can't teach them how to do it. Or two, it was the wrong call. And I think the the great coaches know how to get the most out of their players. And if if one of those things are true, which one of them are one of them is, then that to me that's poor coaching. And I I think yesterday I was probably like, let's give Shep a chance. Look, firing him might make us feel better, but does does that actually do anything? Cause now we gotta actually find somebody to be the defensive coordinator either full time or interim. Like does it actually make us better? After seeing that press conference, I'm a little bit I'm f I I'm a little frustrated. And if if if Jacoby Brissett and Marvin Harrison Jr. look like Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison out there, I I think I might join the we got a fire chep train because now we're just it's not even accountability, it's just lack of insight. And they and Mike: Can I make Michael: and he He also talked about the the carrying the offense carrying the defense comment. Did you see this? Mike: Yeah. Yeah, he did he wasn't t having any of it. Michael: He could have said this is a three phase game when one phase struggles, the other one picks him up and we expect to start picking up the offense and we haven't done our part. Okay, great. Mike: Yeah, you do that. Michael: he Aly: No, what did he say? Michael: he took it not person like taking it personally is okay because you're the you're the defensive coordinator. And you want to take it personally, okay. He could have said, I I'm embarrassed by our performance right now and I have to be better and the players have to be better. Okay, great. no, i he took offense to the question. He took offense to the person asking the question. Mike: He was defensive. Yep. Michael: And that is just not cute. Mike: And this will make you feel worse. Points per game, we're right there. Better than last year. Yards per game, almost as good as our best year. Net passing yards, better than any year. By a lot. Rushing yards down, obviously. We all know that. Third down conversions down, right? But better than last year. Michael: Is this offense? Mike: It's these are these are offense right here. Then now Michael: Yeah. Mike: you get into defense. Aly: Yeah. And we're the worst. Mike: It's by far, it's not even close. Third down conversions allowed fifty two point eight percent. It's like Michael: Yeah. Mike: it's better than half. We're giving up a hundred and a pass rating of a hundred and ten point four. That's worse than Aly: You know Mike: last year. Aly: you know how they do what does next gen stats say when it's fourth down and they say, you know, next gen stats has to go for it. Do you think they take into consideration the likelihood that the Lions Mike: Yeah. Yeah. You're playing the lions. Aly: will let you convert in the next gen stats? Mike: Yeah. Yeah. The all the Michael: No, I think that's the new that's the new anthropic update. Yeah. Aly: Got it. Okay. Yeah. Like next gen stats against the Texans is a no, but against the Lions it's a yes. Michael: Yeah, for sure. Mike: So last year we went nine and eight. We gave up two hundred and thirty-seven yards a game passing. This year we're two and one. We're giving up three hundred and twenty-seven yards a game passing. Smaller sample size, I get you. But what this tells me at our current rate is we're gonna be below five hundred. Aly: Yeah. If we change nothing. Mike: We're we're worse than we were last year and our offense is performing at a better grade than we would did last year. Michael: Yeah. Aly: Mm. Mike: That's that good. Now the good thing good news is BB's back. You wanna talk about that, Allie? Aly: Yeah. Okay, so I wanna show you guys my Mike: Give give us some hope, Allie. Give us some hope. Aly: I wanna show you guys my graph that I made about BB. because my very first jersey that I ever got was Brian Branch. I'm obsessed with Brian Branch. I think he is one Mike: Rightly so. Aly: of my f I I think he's one of my favorite players. I also I think the world of Kirby Joseph as a player, I think he's excellent too. I just wish he had a knee. Okay, so look at my graph. Mike: I liked Aly: okay, so this was last year. So you can see rushing yards allowed was middle of the road, about 150 yard rush yards allowed on average per game. And the I think the important thing is here is that it was very consistent. It didn't matter the team we were playing, we really stopped the run, regardless of who they were or how good they were. BB gets injured in the Cowboys game. And then it's sort of off to the races with the Rams, Steelers, and the Vikings. The Bears, obviously, we crushed, but that's because so Michael: And they rested their starters. Aly: and they rested their starters. so we really rely on BB to stop the run. so I think one of the things that I'm excited about with BB coming back is obviously his ability to stop the run when we are already showing that we can really put pressure on the passer, which is great. Adding that inability for teams to run the ball is also great. Now You can argue having someone like BB on the field in the secondary as a group has a similar impact that I believe St. Brown has on the wide receivers. I personally believe that our wide receivers are at the caliber that they are because of Amin Rah St. Brown. I think he brings the rest of the wide receivers up to par through his. This is how you practice. This is how you stay dedicated. This is how you run routes. This is how you block. Like one of I think it was Chris Collinsworth who was saying that Amin Ross St. Brown really shows the rest the rest of the wide receivers: if you don't catch the ball, you're blocking. Make Mike: Mm. Aly: sure you're opening up the field for everyone else. Not every team operates that way. All that to say. I think you could make an argument that we need somebody like that in the secondary. We don't have anyone who's Who can really lead the team on this is what it means to be in this group, this cohort of people, and having BB back even just at practice will help. but I I I think Calvin Shepherd, I think any coach. That blames the players. Mike: Mm. Yep. Aly: At the end of the day, this is this is an entertainment show. Football is on not because of anything other than it is making money to entertain us. That's it. Mike: Yes. Yeah. Aly: And that's great. I love it. I'm entertained. Mike: Hm. Are you not entertained? Aly: Yeah, I'm super entertained. So when you have somebody who's part of the entertaining group pointing fingers at the rest of their squad saying, it's not me, it's them, how well Mike: Yeah, that's bad. Aly: do you think they'll perform together? Mike: I know. Aly: And that's my worry with Calvin Shepherd. When that's the narrative, what's he like in the room? Mike: When I heard that first round, I just thought he could be getting fired today. 'Cause I think that was the beginning of the end of our last offensive coordinator. He started blaming the offensive line. Yeah. Aly: John Morton, yeah. Michael: Yeah. And I just I I can't I can't get over Again, I I I just can't get over if you it blaming, okay, but if you truly have s have such little insight that something's wrong, your job as a coach is to put your players in the best position to win. One of the best coaches in the league is Sean McV Sean McVeigh. And he's offensive obviously, but the brilliant thing about Sean McVeigh, and this is what people say about him all the time, is he he'll come up with anything to put his players in the best position to win. You know, five, six year five, six years ago, he was the tight formations, three receivers, play action team, and then all of a sudden they don't have any wide receivers. He doesn't force it. He decides, okay, we'll just play with three tight ends. And he he starts a new trend for three tight ends. And so what his magic is is not that He has a system that people play in. It's that he can adjust his system, he can adjust his philosophies to serve the players that he has. And when Kelvin Shepherd calls a zero blitz and has our fifth string strong safety against their team's number one receiver who's already torched you for a hundred and fifty yards, and he catches it and narries anybody three yards next to him. it's showing the lack of insight. Accountability, whatever, but for you to bang your head against the wall saying, No, I'm right when you're not Mike: Yeah. Michael: is a problem. Mike: Serious problem. Aly: I am curious. One of the things that both of them brought up, but when I say both of them, I mean Calvin Shepard and Dan Campbell, they both said in different press conferences multiple times after multiple games, that on the defense the guys need to be in the position they're supposed to be in, and there's a lack of trust. I'm curious the fact that they both keep saying this, what that actually means. Like Who's not trusting who? What does that actually end up looking like? Yeah. Mike: Yeah. How does that mean? Yeah. Aly: But th it's been a consistent narrative. There's a lack of trust on the defensive team, so guys aren't in the right position because they don't trust that someone else is gonna be in the right position. Mike: Mike, what if to tell you that we are thirtieth in league? Our wide receivers are against man coverage. Michael: man, we're switching gears, aren't I I I mean at this point nothing. It's hard for me to determine. Mike: Two small sample size. Michael: I think it's a small sample size and I also think too I think our our our best wide receiver probably is best in zone, right? I think Amin Ra's magic superpower is finding soft spots in the zone. But that doesn't mean he's bad against Van. I don't know. I I I don't know. Aly: I think on the offensive side, what I see is an offensive coordinator who is talented and figuring out how to best utilize his players, it doesn't feel on fire. You know, when even when Dan Campbell says like there were opportunities at the end of the game this last week, absolutely there were. Like there were we got stuffed Michael: Mm-hmm. Aly: on going three and out twice in a time where we should have been able to score. And those were dumb penalties like Brock Wright's penalty that he got, or they were, you know, where we ended up going instead of third and two, it was fourth and twenty. you know, those types of dumb things. And that feels less like maybe our offensive coordinators not getting it together and more like, okay, we to quote Dan Campbell, we really do have to just clean some stuff up. And then that would have been a touchdown. Mike: Yeah. Michael: Mm-hmm. Mike: And that last drive, I think Goff tried to do what he did at the end of the half, which was throw the big hit and got sacked Aly: Yeah. Michael: Yeah. That was a problem. We should have just gotten the first down. Mike: Yeah. The the the color commentator he said, look, I know you don't like Tom Brady, but he said, they're gonna give you the first 40 yards. You're up by they're up by six points. They don't care if you get a field goal, they're gonna give you to midfield, right? They're just not gonna let you break the big play. We should have gotten to midfield and then worried about trying to get in the end zone. Aly: Yeah. Yeah, I agree. Mike: So yeah, I think my new son in law Cole mentioned in the text that it's all on Goth Gough has to play perfectly. I don't think he has to play perfectly, but he does have to play better. Michael: glad that your new son in law Cole just made a cameo. Mike: Yeah. We'll have to get him on the on the pod eventually. Maybe when when the jags are in in a in a bye week or something. Aly: That's great idea. We can Michael: Hmm. My new brother in law Cole, Mike: Keep Aly: He made a great point the other day. Mike: keep mentioning him. Yeah. Yeah. Aly: Yeah. I mean that was the other thing we saw on defense was how many guys did they put up against Hutch? Like there's a hole if you're gonna put three guys on Hutch and we couldn't figure out Mike: He was a beast. Yeah. He was still a beast. Aly: how to exploit that. And he's still. Yeah. Mike: Yeah. The last two drives, the reason we went three and out, I put on Hutch. He got inside the quarterback's head and that guy was looking for him the whole time. Aly: Yeah, I feel like between Hutch and Aline McNeil, they're both doing. Mike: Yes. Aly: Jack Campbell, though, is he seems to be look, I'm not one to gossip. I totally am. Mike: Gossip. Aly: I absolutely am. I wonder we're seeing Jack Campbell is not performing at the same level so far this year that he did last year. Again, small sample size. We've not seen any major tackles, no interceptions. Is Jack Campbell the one that is on the field not trusting some of the players? So he ends up not being in the position he needs to be in. I don't know. I don't know. Michael: think he signed that big deal, now he's lazy. Mike: Ha ha ha ha. Aly: You know, this is what that one guy was talking about when he wanted to claw back the bonus. This is why. You give too much money. Just Mike: Yeah. Yeah. Michael: Mm-hmm. Aly: gonna take a nap on the field. Michael: No, I I I don't think that that's actually true, but I do think that Jack Campbell doesn't trust one is the second linebacker, Derek Barnes, is essentially a Sam, so he's often on the line, playing on the line on the strong side of the offense. and then our will position, our weak side linebacker, has essentially been a rotation. It's hard to develop chemistry and it's hard to develop rapport with somebody who just keeps rotating and for a long time he was right next to Alex Anzalone. Now this is not necessarily a an ad for, hey, let's try to get Alex Anzalone back. But, you know, he played with him for multiple years right next to him Aly: Yeah. Michael: and knew what he was doing. I I I just also think too there's two things. One is our defensive line is more attacking, which is a good thing, but what that does is it leaves the linebackers more susceptible to having to make plays. Whereas when the defensive line's less attacking, they take up a lot of blocks, and they really do a two gap scheme versus a one gap scheme. And that puts more pressure on your linebackers. With that being said, too, you can you can see it in the team. And I would say you can see it in the offense and you can see it on defense. That they don't trust that they're going to be able to do it. And so when I see Jared Goff trying to chuck in on second and ten with a minute fifty two left, he's thinking we have to score now. He's Aly: Yeah. Michael: trying to press. When Jack Campbell's missing the hole, missing a tackle, it's because he's trying to make up for what he doesn't trust because i i it feels like he's thinking we we can't stop him. When it looks when they're out there that we can't stop this team. And they look disheartened. And I think again I I felt better at the beginning of the day today. I think if i you know, against the Cardinals, I don't think we need to be world beaters. I don't think we need to hold them to zero. But I think if we if we get embarrassed, if our defense continues to look not just bad, but embarrassing, I think that we're gonna have to make some tough decisions and we're gonna have to make some tough decisions quickly. Mike: I don't think it's a t after watching the press conference today, I don't think it's as tough a decision as I as I thought. And I like him. But I I don't like the fact that he's unrepentant in the failure that we have. Michael: Mm-hmm. It's a failure. Mike: Yeah, it th Aly: Yeah. Mike: this isn't this isn't tweaks. This isn't trust. This is nine times you blitzed, eight times they were successful. Okay, right? I mean the first two times you're like, okay, you're right. the players just aren't there yet. So we gotta change and they're throwing he's he's doing the the RPO, so he's got options and he's setting them qu getting quick release. Why do you keep doing it then? He said it later in the later in the in the press conference he talked about the quick release and still we're still blitzing and Leaving guys on an island and opening up zones in the middle. it just it he was unrepentant in our failure. Aly: Yeah. I think I I understand the coaching staff. You know, Dan Campbell, when he called Ninda the ninety-seven point one radio, said, you know, there's stuff that we talk about in the room, then there's stuff we tell the press. And I think that's fair. Mike: Yeah. I get that. Yep. Michael: So Aly: because this is a game and their goal is strategy and how do we come to the table with something unexpected and ultimately how do we win? I'm not going to lay out the entire plan to the press. And We're also here to enjoy the game and be entertained. And when you have somebody come up that keeps yelling at you that the sky is not blue, it is in fact orange. You're like, but that's not that doesn't Mike: Yeah. Aly: make any sense. And they're like, nope, you've been wrong all along. Mike: Yeah. Aly: And that's the part that it feels a little like, look, I get you're not gonna share the entire thing, but like. You you can't say let's not look at stats. Michael: Yeah. Aly: You know. Mike: These are not the droids you're looking for. Michael: think I also think too you know Aly: Exactly. Michael: one of the the there's a couple defenses in in the league that are game changing and one of them is the Vikings who we know very well obviously and Aly: A hundred percent. Yeah. Michael: the Vikings just have a one a bunch of their good players left they're still great Mike: They got really two good corners according to PFF. Really good corners. Michael: They're new. That's the point is he puts them in position to succeed. Their only player who's making more than ten million dollars is Andrew Van Giebel. Their whole defense is now young and cheap. They got rid of a bunch of their veteran players. So Brian Brian Flores has a magic where he can dictate what the offense does. and it feels like Calvin Shepherd wants to say, Yeah, me too, but he's incapable. Aly: I think that is where I disagree with a lot of the the the words around like Joey Porter Jr. and what if we got this person? And frankly, even once Brian Branch comes back, because this doesn't feel like is if only we had the best players. Because to Mike's point, Brian Flores is able to make the Vikings a formidable defense, regardless of who's on the field. That's what I want to see. Mike: Yeah. And the players that like Amique left and now he's doing better. Aly: Yeah. Not only just a little better, like he's Mike: Lot better. Aly: a lot better. Mike: Yeah, small sample size, but still, I would rather have that than what we have right now. Aly: It's almost as if it's nearly impossible to join the league in the first place. You Mike: Yes. Aly: have how many people go up for the draft who are playing at the college level? And in some cases, they're playing on winning teams, they're excellent, and they still aren't drafted. So you have a very small group of people who end up getting drafted, and we have the audacity to say, well, I don't know, they weren't first string. Like maybe it was the coach. Mike: I think I think that there's a lot of smoke around that statement. And I think this game will determine if there's real fire. Aly: Yeah. So what are we looking for for the Cardinals? Michael: I don't think that they've been particularly good, but they have a couple guys who are good. Buda Baker. they have Xavion Collins, and then they they have our defensive tackle from from last year, Roy Lopez, as well as I'm pretty sure they have Calais Campbell. so I think their defense will be able to make plays. I think we'll move the ball, but they have the ability to make plays. And I I mean, like I said, Jacoby Brissett is a back up type fringe starter type quarterback, but so far this year we've made them look like MVPs. they have Trey McBride, who might be the best, if not second best, tight end in the league. Michael Wilson is a receiver who just got paid. Marvin Harrison Jr. has been bad, but again, anything's possible against the Lions. So I you know, I think we should be favored in this game, but it's this it's not gonna be an easy game. Mike: So just a couple of stats gonna tell, and that's why I think this is a smoke in the fire game, because they are 32nd in yards per attempted pass. There's nobody worse than them, They're 32nd in explosive passing plays. they are 31st in wide receiver share percentage of the catches. So they're throwing a bit of backs and tight ends. I get it. They have an all-pro tight end. He could be all world. You know, he's really good. He's a Sam Laporta type guy. But still, what that means then is going into this game, if they have a wide receiver who goes off, right? We know Aly: It's on us. Mike: we have it's it's on us 100%. 100%. Aly: Starting this podcast when we were really good w would have been more fun. Mike: It would have been a great W Yes. Well Michael: It's hard to talk about when it's hard when it's not fun. Aly: yes It's hard when you lose Mike: the good news is their d their offense, even though they score points, is not great. They do not they have the like a twenty-seventh rushing yards per rushing attempt. Michael: Yeah, but they have Jeremiah Love, the top running back picked in this draft. It's only a matter of time before he goes off and it's probably gonna be against us. Aly: Ha ha ha. Mike: Well let's look at their defense. Are they a good good defense? Let's see. Their rushing defense is pretty good. Fourth, right? In yards per attempt. That's good. They're thirteenth and allowing explosive runs. what about passing? They're not very good passing defense. they're 30th in passing yards allowed per play. So that's good. Aly: I know we only have seven people that listen to this podcast. Mike: Mm. For now, hey, we're early. We're early. Aly: For now, on the off chance that Jared Goff hears this, Mike: Mm-hmm. Aly: just pass to St. Brown. Mike: Mm-hmm. Aly: Get the ball, throw it to St. Brown. You know where Mike: Or Gibbs. Aly: he is. Mike: Yeah. I'm with Gibbs or Brown. I'm good. Aly: And if St. Brown's isn't open, throw it to Gibbs. Mike: Yeah. I say focus on Gibbs, Laporta, and St. Brown. Just trust those three. Michael: Man, you really diluted Allie's statement. Throw Mike: Sorry, I agree with you. Michael: it to Saint Brown. Yeah. Saint Brown, Laporta, Gibbs, maybe not Tesla. Aly: Just like Mike: I'm just saying don't throw at the GMO. Don't throw the GMO, I'm afraid. Aly: Tesla. Michael: Yeah. Aly: J Mo is he's dropped a couple of key passes. Mike: Yeah. Although the interesting part that one he did that di that deep dig, the offensive coordinator said that he didn't think he was even gonna be able to touch it. But he's such an athlete that he got up and got up to it. He didn't catch it. I don't know what's true that yeah, I guess that's probably true. Yeah. Michael: That's how you cover your players during a press conference. Aly: Yeah. That was the right answer. Mike: Yeah. Aly: Yeah. Michael: Long right answer. Aly: Yeah. Mike: Uh-huh. Aly: I think J Mill will be I think he'll be fine. I don't know what's going on with him. I I think St. Brown had a stretch of this where he was struggling to catch passes. I don't know if it was you know, i Mike: That's true. Yep. Aly: I think it happens. He's got the football version of the yips. He'll get through it. I'm not worried about Jameson Williams. I think he's excellent. He'll start catching those crazy passes again. We've also got Tesla. Like we've got a great wide receiver group and Mike: Yep. I agree. And we've got the best pass rush in the league. Did you know that? We are ranked number one in quarterback pressures. Michael: But It is I how much did we talk about the last few years, man? If we could just get to the quarterback, my goodness. Mike: Yeah. Yeah. Aly: Thanks for joining us, Mike. Always happy to have you. Mike: Always good to have ya. Michael: Yeah. Mike: Love ya. Aly: Love ya. Mike: any predictions for the game, Allie? Aly: I think it's gonna be a slog. Mike: Mm. Aly: I think it'll come down to the fourth quarter. I don't think our defense is suddenly going to turn into an actual defense. I think we'll still mostly be Swiss cheese. But I think that the I think the offense will clean up some of the things they need to clean up. I think we'll be able to take advantage of more of our opportunities. And in that and because of that, I think it'll be a closer game. Mike: I think the best Aly: What do you think? Mike: thing that could happen is the offense comes out and we jump ahead. And they they have to throw the ball to stay pace with us. That's the best thing that could happen for our defense. That's what happened in 2024, right? we just got so far out in front of people that we dictated what they had to do. we weren't great in defense, but and but I think that would be good for our pass rush this year then. Then our defense really could come through. It's a good thing we're not superstitious 'cause the minute we started doing this we started losing. That's not true. We started losing last year actually. And that's Yeah. After the Giants game. Yeah. Aly: That's true. We really started losing last year. It was it was I think it was the Giants game. It was the Giants Sunday before Thanksgiving game. That really was the beginning of the end on the defense. Mike: We're not even five hundred since then. Aly: No. Mike: Awesome. Aly: So you're right, it's a good thing we're not superstitious. Mike: I love doing this with you. This is part of my favorite part of the Aly: I know me too. I actually I don't care how many people listen. I have a great time. Yeah. Mike: Mi too. This is the a joy of my life. But I love you. Aly: Well, thanks for listening to Passing Down Pride. We're always happy to have you. Mike: Bye everybody. Aly: Bye.
