M2: Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of Sister Sisters, a very special episode. M1: This is our one year anniversary of Sisters Sisters. Last week was actually our 50th episode. We did specifically, we did not acknowledge the 50th episode because we wanted to save it until this episode, our 51st episode, because this is our one year anniversary, which is actually insane. M2: It is insane that we have been doing this for a year. I feel like it was just the other day that we started this. First off, thank you to everyone who've been listening for a year or who just started listening last week. Or if this is your first episode, like welcome. Hello. Thank you all for being here. This has been something we have been dreaming about since COVID, like 2020, that we thought about, we should do this. And we always were hesitant to make it a reality. And it has been so much fun. So thank you all for being here. M1: We are this is I always say my favorite form of social media that we do because it is so I don't know, it feels like really we're connecting with everybody. Yeah, very us, just chatting. M2: Very us. And we can dive into yeah, facts and tips and like be ourselves in its longer form. And it's just, it is so fun. It has been so much fun. M1: So we thought we thought we'd talk a little bit about how we sort of came to start a podcast. So, like Masletu alluded to, and we talked about this in our Patreon Peach and Pit Crew segment. And I do just want to give a big shout out and say we do have a Patreon that we are so grateful to everyone who is a supporter over there. We have our Peach Crew and our Pit Crew, which comes with an extended version of this episode every single week. We just did 30 extra minutes for them before this started. M2: Thirty five actually. M1: Yeah. we also have a quarterly bonus episode for our peach crew. close friends on Instagram. So if you want more from this podcast or more from us, highly recommend checking that out. But anyways, we talked about this a little bit on our Patreon segment. But back in the day, like COVID times or maybe even slightly earlier, we had the idea to start a podcast that at the time we wanted to call Mouselit's Radio. And Mouselit too actually just found the little like outline that we made for what that podcast was going to be. It was like scripted intro and stuff. It was very formal compared to what this podcast is. M2: I didn't really listen to podcasts that much. I basically listened to that Park Life podcast. If you're looking for another Disney podcast, that's my favorite podcast. And The Office Ladies. And like occasionally I'll dabble in another podcast. I've never been a huge podcast person. You love podcasts. And so during COVID, we were like, yes. And then we just didn't do it. And honestly, it was pro that was a weird time. It was kind of a chaotic time. It was probably for the best. Although maybe it could have been cool. We this would have been like our sixth-year anniversary. M1: Yeah. M2: But Mouse Lit one last year in like July or August was like, I think we should actually do this. And I was like, I don't know. Do we have time? But she was like, We FaceTime constantly. We talk about Disney constantly. We talk about the news. We talk about all this random stuff. We're basically clicking record on FaceTime. We're fighting a little bit less. Maybe. M1: Yeah. Yeah. Ex maybe sometimes. And we actually around that time, we ran into someone on a cruise who ran a podcast that we had listened to for many years back in the day. Totally M2: Yes. M1: iron totally randomly. And the guy invited us to come on his podcast. And literally, this podcast was the host of the podcast on Skype. We joined the Skype. They pressed record. We talked. And then they were like, done, it'll be up like tomorrow or something. And we were like, wow, that was so easy. And so we said, Okay, I love podcasts. Like Muscle 2 said, I listen to podcasts constantly. The way other people always have music playing, I always have a podcast playing. I love them. And I said, I know podcasts so well. I feel like I know how to do a podcast and like chat and have segments and stuff like that. And I said, We can edit this in a really low-lift way, the way that these people did, where you record. You make notes of where you need to go cut stuff out, but other than that, you pretty much kind of send it and go. And we created Sisters Sisters. M2: We started it. M1: We did have a hard time thinking of a name. We were gonna do mouselet tails. M2: my god, Mouse Lit. Wait, Mouse Lit A was just telling me I was gonna, you ruined the bit. You ruined the bit. M1: Ha ha ha ha. M2: I was about to say Mouse Lit A just reminded me that we were gonna call it Mouse Litz Tails. So our broadcast channel on Instagram, which is like very hard to access, just if you're in that broadcast channel, Instagram is like changing how they work. Anyway, it's called Mouse Let's Chat because Mouse Lits has at the end let's, and we're like, let's chat, mouse lit's chat. But unfortunately, M1: I think it's so clever. M2: Yes, but another podcast we love is called Mouse Chat. So we said, that won't really work. We don't want to like have that overlap. So we said, mouse tails could be pretty fun. M1: Like but people were like a mouse tail, like a rat tail, like I just don't necessarily want to be thinking about like a mouse tail, but you know, T A L E S, a mouse's tail, like M2: We're like we're telling tales of the mouse lits. And so that we b you know, bounced back and forth. And then eventually we decided, sister, sisters. I think this idea popped into my mind, didn't it? M1: I thought it was my mind. M2: Pretty sure it was I'm pretty sure it was my mind, no? M1: I think it was my mind. But basically we were trying to think of things that were like iconic to us. You know, I there are probably certain creators out there. For example, Michael does Diz, if you follow him, something iconic to him is that he rides in row 15 of Big Thunder Mountain. You know, if he started a podcast, he could call it row 15 or something like that. Like that's very iconic to him. So we were like, what's iconic to us? And at the time, we'd fairly recently done our sister's sister's outfit for Jollywood nights from the movie White Christmas. Which was so fun. Obviously we're actually sisters. It just felt right. M2: And it just like worked. I will say White Christmas, like I M1: Not a movie I love. M2: yeah, I I like bits and I like the idea of the movie, but like it's not one of our family's classics, but I love the sister sister scene and there's parts of it I love. M1: I love Bing Crosby. M2: I love Bing Crosby. Love, love, love, love, love Bing Crosby. And so yeah, we start we named it Sister Sisters, and we every single week we hit record and you just get whatever we're saying. So it is the least scripted thing ever. But thank you all for being here. For the main topic, we are gonna talk all about our mouse let's milestones, but first we do need to, you know, stick with our usual, our usual flow. M1: Interestingly, no. M2: There's not a lot of news. M1: But interestingly, every year before the D23 Expo, Disney randomly drops some like sort of larger piece of news. Like nothing, you know, not like we're building a new land or anything, but something. It's very interesting. I don't ever understand exactly why they do this. My hope is that the D23 parks panel is going to be so unbelievably packed that they can't even fit this in. But what they announced was. Some new updates about the Lakeshore Lodge. Basically, they released a lot of concept art. It looks amazing. and they showed the three different dining experiences that are coming. So there's a lakefront one called Moon Glade, which looks so cool. There's Bay Lake Provisions, which is the quick service, and then there's Paint Out Point Bar and Grill, which is out near the lagoon as well. Yes. M2: Which gives like geyser point. Yeah, it's like a bar lounge. And they all yeah, they showed concept art of the fireworks like viewing area and the lobby area. And we've seen some of the water, like the water park area basically, but it's it's not big theme. It's not Wilderness Lodge, it's not Animal Kingdom Lodge, it's not the Polynesian, but it's not the Riviera. It's like a modern twist. M1: It's bigger than Ruby Yes. M2: And and I like it. And I'm like, you know what? I do like it. I love big theme. I want big theme, but this is where Disney's leaning. The water park looks amazing. I think it looks great. So I'm very excited. M1: Me too. I love it. M2: Very excited. You can do the next one. M1: The next random piece of news is Disney. If you know what Disney's Golden Oak is, Disney's Golden Oak is a community that you can live in that's run and managed by Disney. And the houses are like Disney themed, kind of like lightly Disney themed. They're meant I mean, I think the cheapest house is two million dollars. Like they are extremely expensive. Living in Golden Oak gets you a ton of perks. It's like to Walt Disney World. It's, you know, sort of M2: So nice. Yeah. M1: a Disney lover's dream. Very interesting thing about Golden Oak is you don't actually truly own the house. You own it for 99 years or something like that. So yeah, it's like M2: You've like l basically yeah, like lease it for ninety nine years or something. M1: not a great investment, but it's obviously really cool. Disney is building a new community similar to that in Palm Springs, Palm Desert, right now. They're calling it like Story Living by Disney. I know the big thing in the Palm Desert one is that they have a house that looks like the Incredibles House. they just announced a new one in Raleigh, North Carolina, which I know you did. M2: I loved Raleigh. I visited there for work and I said I said, if I had to live somewhere else, not in not in New England, I might live in Raleigh. M1: It's so random to me, but yeah, there's a new one. So if you have millions of dollars and you're a huge Disney fan, you could look into that. M2: The final piece of news is related to D23, which is starting tomorrow. If you're listening to this on the day this drops, and Disney is streaming certain panels and showcases on Disney Plus during D23. The biggest one that I'll just start with is they are doing the actual like parks panel, you might call it. The Horizons. M1: Which they didn't do last year. M2: Yeah, the Horizons Disney Experiences showcases. These are on Disney Plus. It makes sense. They wanna have the, they wanna have the money. They want other people to stream it. They say, We'll stream it. You watch it. But here's the other one just to run through The Beauty and the Beast Tale as Oldest Time, 35th Anniversary Celebration, Percy Jackson and the Olympic Olympian Season Three panel, Disney Rewind Encore Concert, Horizon Disney Experience Showcase, Disney Princess, the Ultimate Concert Celebration, Disney World Builders panel with Jared Bush, Pete Doctor, John Favreau, Dave Falone, and Kevin Fiege. M1: The fact that you don't know who John Favreau is is a crime. M2: Moderated by Leslie IWorks. Who is John Favreau? Is he an imagineer? M1: N no. He was Happy Hogan in the movie that I just made you watch. He's extremely M2: my God. How would I know that? That was so M1: he's also a director of Star Wars stuff. I think he just directed The Mandalorian. He's very famous, anyways. M2: okay. Never heard of John Fevre. Sorry, John. I don't know who this man is. Sorry to this man. And the Disney Legends Award Ceremony begins streaming at 6 p.m. Pacific time. I'll probably be watching it because we will be skipping that because we'll be on the M1: 'Cause we won't be there for that one. Yeah. M2: way home. So that is a little bit of news for you. D23 is coming up. There's gonna be so much more news. So we are gonna be talking about all of that. M1: Yeah, quick plug for ourselves. We're gonna be there. I have personally never been to a D23 and I've always tried to watch it and sort of experience it from afar. I know, like we have never been, and M2: Neither ha neither have I. we. M1: I've always tried to experience it from afar. So I wanna say if you're interested, I think we're gonna have really good content up. Like check us out on Instagram. We'll have a lot of stories up to try and take you along with us, show us everything that we're seeing. So shameless plug there if you're interested in the D23 Expo. But now it is our one year anniversary. So let's get into our main topic. M2: Which is Mouselets Milestones. On June seventh of two thousand and seventeen, we started the mouselets. We didn't celebrate our anniversary this year because we forgot. I'll be honest, we did. We forgot. M1: We forget we forget every year. We also have memory different memories of how we actually came up with the idea. I was able to confirm through photo evidence that my memory is correct. Are you joking? I literally found pic M2: I don't think that's true. Are you j are you joking? That's how you talk to your baby. she the way she talks to the Miklit, her baby. I can't even think of what you say. Are you are you this? You use this certain like tone of voice and you just did it. M1: Okay. Anyways, Mouse Let 2 remembers it happening at our brother's graduation. I confirm that that happened a c that was a little bit later. But we started the Mouselets on a complete and utter whim, literally a random whim. thinking we were gonna be the first Disney account in the space. M2: Mouselit one said, I'm gonna start a Disney blog. And me being a the rival sister said, I'm gonna start a Disney Instagram account because I was an influencer myself with my Harry Potter quotes Instagram account. M1: Yes, quotes. M2: So I said, I'm very familiar with having an Instagram account, being an influencer. I'm gonna start a M1: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. M2: Disney one. And we said, let's bert merge these ideas together and we will create the mouse lits. We, yeah, June 7th of 2017, we created the mouse lits that has always been our username. I love that we have the in it. I feel like it's iconic. That M1: Me too. M2: was very important to you. I remember that. We had some other ideas for usernames, Disney tips, tricks, and trivia. That was one of them. That was the only other contender, basically. M1: That was the only that was really the only one. M2: But now, but we created the mouseelets. And since June 7th of 2017, we have had a lot of mouse lets milestones. Things that seem small to some, things that seem big. It's kind of a mix, but these are the things that stood out to us as like we hit this point and we said, Yes, like this is something we will remember. I mean, we have a million memories, like so many good memories, but these are the things that really feel like true like milestones that have helped us grow as creators and Disney fans. And so we have compiled a list of them, beginning with yeah, when we started it. Do you want to take the first one? M1: So we started the mouse house on June seventh. Three weeks later, on June 26th, we hit 1,000 followers, which was a huge deal to us at the time. Like every every giant milestone for followers on Instagram in particular feels really big. And a thousand was like it made us feel like we weren't just randomly posting into a void. Yeah. M2: I was gonna say we felt proud. We felt proud. We felt felt like we could tell our parents because they didn't even know. And we were like, we have a thousand followers. Yeah. I mean, we weren't the first Disney Instagram account, but we were one of the early Disney Instagram accounts. There were many others, and we're also I can you can go through your Instagram and change it to filter by like the first people that followed you. I did it the other day just to see. And like pretty much the first like 20 people that followed us are like inactive. There's a lot of inactive accounts, and we've been around since the beginning. of our own account. People were around before us. So yeah, hitting a thousand. That was a big one. We were plugging along. I'll give a little shout out to our first post ever. This isn't a milestone per se, but in a way, it's actually the most important milestone of the mouse lits. I posted it. I went through my pictures because we didn't have a Disney trip planned when we started the mouse lit. So I said, what do I have? And I said, this is amazing. It's a silhouette of the Chinese theater with a great movie ride inside of it. With fireworks. It's a boomerang. And that was our first post ever. And Mouselit One despises it. M1: Actually today, guys, today for our Peach and Pit crew segment at the beginning of this episode, the Patreon segment, we did our anti-milestones and we were milest two and I M2: Yeah. M1: were trying to brainstorm them and I said, my god, the first post should be an anti-milestone. And she said, Why would that be an anti-milestone? I because it was terrible. I hate that post. M2: and then I posted, yeah, it was just like very various. my god, we forgot about some well, anyway, that was a big milestone. But June 26th, we hit a thousand. So flash forward a couple months, we're posting continuously. on November 2017, the beginning of November, we started our blog. Blogging was big back then, and shortly after, right after Thanksgiving, we started our store making stamped necklaces. M1: That was when, yes. This was when we've talked about this before. 2017 was the era of Disney Etsy. Everyone had a Disney Etsy shop. If you didn't have an Etsy shop, you were nobody. And so we said we have to have an Etsy store. M2: Wait. We have to tell about how we said, what should we sell? Let it was right after Black Friday. Let's go to Michael. Let's go M1: It was Black Friday. It was Black Friday. M2: to Michael's craft store and see what we can make. Create something. Are we crafty? Meh. Let's see what we can do. We can do something. We can do anything we set our minds to. I always say that. So we went to Michael's and M1: We found a kit. It wasn't even a kit. We found supplies to hand stamp metal necklaces. We went home. We messed up 100,000 times. It was so hard to get everything aligned. We had no idea what we were M2: It was so frustrating. M1: doing. We just randomly selected this to be clear. It was so frustrating. We would stamp them and then we'd color them in with like Sharpie to like make M2: Literally. M1: the, you know, indents darker. M2: People knew what they were getting. M1: No, the pictures were very clear what you were getting. Okay. This was obviously M2: You yeah. M1: not a high quality product. but we, you know what? We were out here hustling. And I will say, since the beginning, something that we have always wanted is to not just be like an Instagram account. We have always tried to be more than that. And so this podcast is an example, a more, much more recent example, but we have expanded, expanded, expanded many times. M2: blog or YouTube or store or TikTok or we pick on Pinterest for a while. Yeah. M1: Yeah. And so that was this was one of the beginnings. And something like crazy about the mouse lits is that we started June seventh. We didn't go to Disney while we had the mouselets until December 2017. So that whole entire time we were just posting random pictures and stuff. It was just pre-video on Instagram. You could do boomerangs M2: Yeah. M1: though, that we had on our phone from like random other trips that we'd taken over the years. M2: We actually have this is this bit's gonna be played a lot. We Our mom used to take a million pictures in Disney. A million. And you know, when we got phones, like what this was, I I don't know if I had like an early iPhone when we started the mouse loads. I guess I did. Yeah, I guess I did. But like on our trips before, you know, I would snap some pics, but it's not like we didn't take that many pictures on our phone. We had digital cameras and we uploaded all of them onto our family computer. And we have a Google Drive folder. I still go through it this day where we uploaded all of the Disney pictures we could find from all of these trips of random stuff Mama Melsa posted. Or cre took pictures of. And some that Mouse of One did and some that I did. We would just post them. We'd Mom and Mouse that took this picture. Like major like throwbacks too, just like random stuff. Yeah. M1: It was all we had. We didn't have anything else to post until December twenty seventeen. That was our first family trip. our dad actually knew Papa Mouselit knew we'd always wanted to go to Disney during Christmas. So he planned this trip for us to M2: Yeah, it's funny. I never actually wanted to go to Disney during Christmas. I think that was a you thing. I had no interest. It was fun. Now I do, but I didn't know anything about it. I didn't care at all. M1: I did. I did. I did. And so me and Papa Mousel clearly commandeered this trip and we went for the first time. And I remember like the very first day that we got there, we went to Disney Springs. Mouslit 2 became an annual pass holder. I was already one from like a previous thing earlier that year. And we for the first time got to like take pictures on our trip and post the pictures. It was very exciting. M2: And we took so many pictures. I have like M1: Yes. M2: on my phone. Most of them were on my phone, honestly, at that time. And we didn't even have a mouse lit's like Google Drive at that time because the pictures from that trip are on my personal Google, which is funny. We should dig some of those up. But that trip has so many memories. It was the first time Instagram stories had just been created like a couple of weeks before that we got access to it. Mouse Lit 3, our younger brother, posted all of the Instagram stories. And Yeah, we are taking as many pictures. There were no carousels. There were no reels. There were no, I don't even think you can post video on there yet. You could post a boomerang. And M1: You could post a boomerang though. M2: we just were snapping pics and writing captions about facts. That's what we did. Crazy. that was also the first this feels like a milestone because that was the first trip that we met another Disney Instagram account, I guess you could say. This this woman who's not on Instagram anymore. she was mom. And she was like, Let's meet at the bubblegum wall. And she took us up to the D V C lounge at Epcot. We met this random woman and I remember we were like, my gosh, like this is crazy, like so different. Twenty seven, like meeting an internet friend. M1: Like we grew Yeah, we grew up in the era of like do not talk to people that you meet on the internet, yet alone meet up with them in real life. Now we have like M2: Yeah, we never had AOL or AIM, I mean, we never had AIM, we never had any of that. We weren't allowed to, so M1: No. So this was like, what are we doing? Now we have obviously very, very close friends that we've made through this, but at the time it felt insane. Then M2: Yeah, that was iconic. M1: the following year, April 2018, that was our first trip with Mouse Let A, but it was also the first time that we made a mouse lit's purchase, meaning we had earned enough money from the mouseelits from our little shop that we were able to make a purchase. We each bought a pin at the Tower of Terror gift shop. We were so excited we took a picture of it. We're in like M2: I remember that. M1: Heinous outfits in that picture. You're in a Star Wars shirt. You didn't watch Star Wars at the time. M2: What was that? I was wearing a Star Wars shirt. No, I had watched Star I had think had watched Star Wars. I mean, this was pre Disney Plus even, so I don't know where I was getting Star Wars. I was buying a DVD, even not sure. Not sure how. M1: A DVD? Like M2: Feels like a different era, honestly. our first yeah, that was our first trip from El C Day. That trip started like the twenty eighteen lore. I had like twenty five things from twenty eighteen and I I ended up cutting it down because I said, No, that's it's too many. But M1: Too many things. M2: The next up is September of twenty eighteen. Well, first off, we won an all expense paid trip to Walt Disney World. So that's like a story for another day. We've told it M1: That's a milestone. M2: before. That was a milestone. It was it was my first time ever staying on property at Disney, other than when I was a a kid in the nineties. You had stayed with a friend at All Star Music or your boyfriend maybe? M1: I'd stayed one night with my boyfriend at the time at All Star Movies in twenty sixteen M2: And now three head. M1: or something. Yeah. M2: But I had never I didn't know anything about it. it was our first time ever we stayed two nights at Pop Century. Yeah. And that was and it was iconic. We were like, wow. No, M1: And we are hooked. Honestly, we were hooked on the on site thing. Yep. M2: we stayed offside a lot for a while after that. So M1: But we knew we understood more why you would stay on site. Pre that we were kind of like, who cares? M2: Yeah. Yeah. I would say kind of right after that, in like in twenty eighteen, I I wrote November twenty eighteen, our trip, but we really entered our photography era where we started l we learned about this app. It's called Pixelmeter. It's like a it was like a Photoshop for your phone. I mean, I still use it. I'll say it. I still use it. And M1: Go Apple bought it now. It's like a very legitimate app. Apple owns Pixel. Yes, it's like a really legit app. I know. It used to be. No, now Apple owns it. It's a big deal. M2: Apple bought PixelMater. Wow. I thought Pixel Mater was like if I have always feared that PixelMeter was gonna like shut down any day. I don't know if that's accurate. M1: It is. M2: Well, anyway, this is a milestone. Yes, we entered our photography era. We went everywhere with our camera, snapping a ton of pictures, doing all of these edits and things. It is a milestone for the mouselets because we went into it and then we exited it. And if you wanna learn more about that, we mention it all the time on sitting on the ground talking our Patreon segment. So M1: Then in August of 2019, fast forwarding a bit through 2019, we got to have our first media stay. So there's a thing where if you work for like a newspaper and you're gonna like talk about a hotel or you work for a magazine or something, or in the more modern era, you are a content creator of some kind. Sometimes a hotel will host you for free, but some days they'll give you what's called a media rate, which is where you just get like a big discount on the room because in exchange for the fact that you're gonna be like talking about it in your media. So this was the first time that we ever had any sort of like hosted experience. It wasn't hosted. It was a media rate, but still it was exciting. It was a media rate at the Hojo, which is the Howard Johnson in Disneyland. M2: I have the e I have the email up. This is we pitched them on January fifteenth of twenty nineteen. Wow, we are really ahead. We really wanted to stay there. We're we're M1: I wish that we did that now. M2: reaching out about information we found on your website. What? Who wrote this? We're reaching out about information we found on your website about Disneyland trips. What? Okay. We're three siblings who are on blog and an Instagram page. we are Walt Disney World Pass House. We've been asked by many of our followers to write an extensive article about planning a Disneyland trip. Probably a lie, but maybe not. We did write an article though. This summer we would love to team up with you. And we here was our we had ninety three thousand website hits. We had twelve thousand Instagram followers. M1: Pretty good. M2: And we wrote that we had fifteen hundred sales on Etsy. We said we've got sales on Etsy, guys. M1: I'm sure they were like I'm sure they were like, okay, Etsy, like not relevant to us at all. But they gave us a media M2: And they said literally okay. M1: a media rate. M2: yeah, they give us a media rate, which is crazy, and it was fun and we liked it, and we still talk about the Hojo. So, okay, just one month later, this is insane. Okay, one month later, I kept on Snapchat, I kept seeing these ads, and I specifically remember this like kid who is sort of like emo goth vibe singing a song about like a robot or something. Yeah. M1: Can't wait to meet you. Probably that one. Join the animatronic family. Okay, family, I thought it was. M2: To join the animatronic jamboree. I don't know. I don't know. And I said, let me get in on that action. I said, we weren't the first to Instagram, but we will be the first there. I started musically, and then it M1: These were ads for TikTok, to be clear. Yeah. M2: became TikTok. I hopped on TikTok. I was, I followed Charlie D'Amelio before she had 100,000 followers. I M1: Mm. M2: just want everyone to know that. And I said, I'm gonna start posting random videos I have on TikTok. I was one of the first, probably like three or four people from Disney on TikTok. No one was out there. I went back and rewatched all a bunch of our old TikToks. I just posted a random video of 10,000 likes because there's not no one was doing it. very there you could barely they had just allowed you to start uploading videos to there. Like it was a very different world taking the video live. M1: Rather than like taking the video in the app live. M2: and yeah, it's crazy, you know, all jump to March 2020 where there's a bunch of things, but during when COVID hit. We had filmed so much content because we're not local. So we had filmed a ton of videos that I had so many videos banked that I was posting I had so many things to post on TikTok. The parks were closed. And we like that's like that launched our success on TikTok. Just being early. It's crazy. M1: I remember there was a girl who followed us who loved Disney and was really sad that she couldn't come to the parks. And so we had taken asked video asked characters to send her videos. So they would say, like, you know, we wish you were here, we miss you so much, like we hope that we see you soon to this girl. Then the park is closed. So we were able to take those videos that the characters had said to this girl and string them into a video that was more like. The characters miss you M2: Characters miss you. M1: cause the parks are closed and that like popped off. M2: It went so viral. I remember hitting 12,000 followers on TikTok and having some girl I went to college with being like, You're a famous TikTok influencer. And I was like, No. but yeah, we it was crazy. It popped off and it's because of COVID. But there's another milestone kind of which like co in my mind, I asked mouse lit one this question. I said, If you look at if you look at you know the mouse lits over time, at what point do you feel like we sort of like transitioned? March of twenty twenty is when I feel like we left the old mouselets. Cause twenty nineteen still feels like old mouse to me. And we kind of went into like a newer version of the mouse lets. M1: Yeah, because this so one milestone is that we were in the parks. We were in the bathroom between Adventureland and Frontierland when Disney announced M2: By Pirates of the Caribbean. M1: that they were closing the parks due to COVID, which was completely unprecedented at the time. Then M2: And all of us women were talking through the stalls. She said it Mouse M1: Yeah. M2: of One said it to me and then I said it out loud and the woman next to like me like, the parks are closing and we all were talking about it. so crazy. M1: Yeah. It was iconic. And then we happened by complete chance to be there on March 15th, which was the last day that the parks were operational. It was a Sunday. It was the last day of our trip. So we were in Magic Kingdom that day. We weren't there at like the end of the day when they like said goodbye because we were flying out. But we were there. That was by complete chance, but it was like really an interesting time in Disney history because they'd never done that. But yeah, so then as COVID happened and TikTok was really picking up. And then I believe it was the following year in twenty twenty one that Instagram started to have video reels became a thing. M2: Yeah, like somewhere around that time that we were able to take all of these TikToks and turn them. And honestly, I watched some of these back. Peach crew and I'll put them in close friends on Instagram. If you wanna really get the deep dive, I mean you can scroll back too, but you couldn't cut clips. I just have to say you couldn't like cut clips the beginning and end, and you couldn't adjust sound and the voiceover like barely worked. I'm like whispering. I'm like, did you know that this and I was in our basement of our parents' house. Did you know that Disney has a color called go away, green? I was like my God. But like people weren't doing it and we were. M1: yeah, and video really changed well it obviously completely changed social media, but it changed the mouselets. M2: Yeah, I mean we were posting on IG TV before that. God. I'm so M1: If anyone remembers that, which was the most bizarre, chaotic product. M2: happy that that's gone because the things that I've put up there. M1: You had photography editing videos on there. Yes. M2: Primarily. That was pretty much what I posted. M1: anyways, we'll skip October 2020. If you want to hear a little bit about that one, you can listen to the Patreon segment. But June 2021, this was the first trip that I brought Mouse Let's see on. We'd only been dating like less than a year and a half. but he came to Disney with us for the first time, which was really fun. We also launched our bags around this time. I believe we had our bags on that trip. I think we must have launched them earlier in the year. I think it was like March. Cause I remember taking pictures M2: Yeah, yeah, I think it was around that time. M1: outside the house and being like cold and wearing jeans. M2: We had worked really, really hard to like design these bags to find a manufacturer and get them. And they made a giant M1: That was so hard finding someone. M2: tr we they gave us a giant trash can bag. I miss our bags. They were really fun. If you have our bags, love you. if you don't, I'm sorry. It was an era of the mouse lits, but it again was like a different, yeah, it was a kind of a turning point that it was like, wow, we're kind of doing this fun thing. M1: If you don't know what we're talking about, also we had a shop, we had a store that, like we said, sold hand stamped jewelry, but then we moved on and we made these like really cool bags. I will say we had like a monorail bag, we had a trash can. They they were like M2: A fanny pack, a j yeah, they were very cool. Epcot all, Skyliner. M1: really iconic and they will never be returning, but it was an iconic era of the mouselets. M2: It was a very iconic era. yeah. So June 2021, we took Mouseless C on his first trip. And then wait, my gosh, we missed one. We missed one. Our first M1: What? M2: time staying deluxe. Because I was about to say we said we the first time we say deluxe was in 2019. But in September of 2021, we kind of went on two consecutive trips, like pretty close together. One of them was our second time ever staying deluxe. We stayed at Saratoga Springs, hosted with David's Vacation Club Rentals, which was so exciting. We realized that David's Vacation Club Rentals is literally the best hack ever to save so much money. And we started renting points all the time to stay deluxe. And M1: We we actually were just talking about so the very first time we stayed deluxe, which we accidentally missed, was in 2019. We stayed one singular night at the boardwalk. So we had stayed at like All-Star M2: May of twenty nineteen. M1: Music or something. And then we wanted to say deluxe so badly that I don't even think it was mouse money. I think it was our own money that we paid like $700 or something outrageous for one singular night at the boardwalk. And then we didn't do that again for years because we were like, no. And then we found out about renting DVC points, which if you don't know, is how you can save thirty to fifty percent on resorts. M2: Like actually Disney's room, if you go to book it on their website, say like Wilderness Lodge, whatever, it's like six hundred dollars a night. And you book it through David's Vacation Club rentals and it's like three hundred and thirty dollars a night. It's insane and it's all it's because of like D V C inventory. You don't have to be a D V C owner to do it. It seems like it literally seems too good to be true. It's M1: But it's not. M2: it's yeah, it's crazy. M1: We again had stayed one singular night at a deluxe hotel before we started using David's. And now we've stayed at almost every deluxe hotel at Disney World. So highly recommend if you have never checked. Yeah. Yeah, I think so. Yeah. M2: We have stayed at every deluxe, haven't we? Yeah, I think so too. M1: So highly recommend checking that out if you've never seen them before. But we stayed at Saratoga Springs, but then we had a very, very special next trip in 2021 because we went down for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. M2: This in my mind is another turning point for us. M1: Yes. M2: This is one of my top five memories ever. We actually we did a full episode on the 50th. If you want to go listen to it, it's it's like niche lore. If you were there, it wasn't what any of us expected, but it was the first time we met so many other Disney fans and we were seeing people and we were talking to people. I remember this woman, and I wish I remembered your name, but this woman that we met in the hub. And she was so nice and I said, my God, like we could be it was just like all of these people we were meeting. We had these special gold skirts with our monorail fanny pack and these special shirts and we curled our hair. M1: And we had these our pass holder ears, like we loved our outfits. Everyone it was such a vibe, even though Disney did nothing. Again, if you want that lore, go listen to the episode that we did a while ago because it was kind of like a unique day. But that was M2: But we befriended Michael and Matthew. They were wearing like sequin tuxedo jackets. Like it just it was such a special it was such a special memory. We still talk about it. It feels like it feels like ages ago. It's crazy. It was it was five years ago. M1: No, it does because it was, which is sad. so February 2022, we hit 100,000 followers. I want to M2: On Instagram. M1: on Instagram. I'm gonna actually pull it up. Yeah. So we hit this is so crazy looking at this actually. We hit 20,000 followers in January 2020. So two years later, so that took three years almost. Two years later, we'd grown 80,000 followers to 100,000. That was because of Reels. M2: Mr. Cambrilles. M1: because of how Instagram reels worked and when it were pushing out at the time. That was an insane accomplishment for us. I mean, I remember that feeling of like M2: I was gonna say there is this girl. She had 27,000 followers. And M1: When we started M2: when we started, yeah, around that time, we saw her in the parks once. We were just like, my gosh, we will never. And to be clear, it's not about the number of followers at all. And like that, we don't even really, yeah, talk about it that much. But what it is is like you are reaching new audience. Like our mission, I guess, was always like, we want to share Disney facts. We want to share tips. Like we love this. We want other people to love it. And we want to share all the stuff that we know. And so to reach more and more people and to be able to like be creative and make these it yeah, reels it was so different to make this content and be like people like it and we're sharing these things that we've always loved and we're reaching people in this new way was so exciting. And we never thought that we would hit a hundred thousand followers ever. M1: We never we never thought we'd hit 27,000 where that girl was at. It was also a different type of Instagram, you know, how many followers people had wasn't the same. But also, as a reminder, Instagram does not pay us. Instagram has probably paid us a cumulative total of like $30 in the entire time that we've been on Instagram. M2: Yeah. And that's generous. M1: Yeah, they don't pay. So Instagram is purely for like the love of the game. Yeah. But M2: connected with an audience and like literally the love of the game. M1: like connecting with an audience and stuff. So You know, there's no monetary value or anything, but hitting a hundred thousand was just like, wow, we've worked so hard for five years at that point. Like it just felt like such an accomplishment. Like, my God, we did it. And then the following month was another huge accomplishment, which is that we got invited on our first frog hop, it was called. So we worked with the brand Undercover Tourist. They worked with Disney and they for the first time brought a group of creators down to Disney to like experience the parks. sort of through their eyes. And of course, we were talking about the things that they sold, but also just getting to do cool things to show people why they should come to Disney. And that that's where we made a lot of the friends that we have now. And that trip's espe we went on many frog hops over time, but that trip especially just was like so magical. Je ne sais quoi. Yes. M2: had like a je ne sais quoi in the air and like so literally so many good memories. Every single person on that trip, like the the person who planned the trip who we got to know very well. we would talk about just like how she didn't even understand that she had to book the the like bar space at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Like it it just was it was a different era. And so we all just showed up there and like took all the space and they had goodie bags and gave us Stony Clover fanny packs. It was that's where we met Tarim. That's where we met our friends Mom's Neep Magic, Disney on the Dime was their old account name. We met so many people. And it's, yeah, that is another like turning point that I'm just we had, yeah, such good memories of that that it's crazy. And it was the first time ever doing anything like that. And I feel like it propelled us into like the next step. two months later, we got invited to go to a preview for like creators basically from this brand who's working with Disney for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. We wrote it seven times in a row, maybe eight. I think it was seven. M1: We got September six out of seven times. M2: And the f when the first time, yeah. And the seventh time I remember being like getting a little woozy. And it was so, so, so special to be on that trip. We shared this is actually insane energy. We shared a room with Taryn the first night while we were checking in, the three of us. We met her two months ago. M1: Yeah, we'd known her two months. Yeah. M2: we like instantly clicked and we shared a room at Port Orleans Riverside. So special. And then another very this is like one of the most important things that's ever happened to the mouse lets in May of 2022, which is crazy. And like, shout out to this lady. M1: So again, we were with this brand, and part of the thing that would typically happen when we were on the brand trips is at some point during the trip, we would go to some meetings either about the brand or about what Disney was doing. This particular time, it was like slightly different. We got to go to basically a few like seminar type things where people from various parts of the Disney company came and talked to us and like did a little presentation. Honestly, I couldn't tell you what any of them were other than this one, which is that. M2: There's a run Disney one, I think, too. M1: yeah, there was a Run Disney one. This girl came. I don't remember where exactly in the company she was from, some sort of like communications. And she M2: Marketing, yeah. M1: did a presentation about the importance of storytelling. Honestly, listen, like the girl did great. The presentation wasn't anything like, you know. M2: Yeah, I want to tell this girl because she wore a mask. She was very, very, very nervous. I get it. I used to be a very nervous presenter as well. She was young. She was probably like our age. She probably thinks back and is like, like she doesn't maybe doesn't feel great about that. No, I don't know who you are. I don't know where you're from. M1: At all. M2: I don't know what you she had blonde hair. I would love to say, M1: Long blonde hair. M2: You changed very pretty, was wearing a mask. You complete and had amazing content because she taught about storytelling that was like, you know, okay. The movie Wally, right? Obviously, that's following a story and it's like storyboarding. And, you know, that's how Disney did their animation. But that same theory carried into the rides with Imagineers, right? That was kind of the first thing that they were telling the story. The parks are telling the story. Then she's like, when we make content, we're telling a story. If you go back and watch our April of 2018 Instagram stories, we're at the parks. We randomly post a slide about our magnets that we sold. We're at the pool. We post about our jewelry. We're doing this. We talk about something we're at home. Like we just did random stuff. We did that up until we never thought about it. And so many people don't. M1: And no hate to other creators at all, but lots of people do this, like, you know, they just kind of post like whatever. We try to be very, very intentional about our storytelling. So we make sure if you follow us on a trip and you're following along with our stories, you'll notice that if we have a post going up, let's say we walk into a restaurant, right? And we decide that we're gonna do a video about that restaurant experience. We will not post any additional stories until that restaurant review is up. Because you just saw us walk into the restaurant. The next thing that you should see chronologically is our restaurant review, and then you can see the rest of our night. M2: If we walk into the brown derby, we don't share anything. We go ride Tower of Terror, Rock and Roller Coaster, then we post the review, it's out of sequence. That's why sometimes, a little behind the scenes, there's like a gap when Papa Mouselit or Mouselit A are usually the two culprits. They'll like pretty quiet on the mouse lits. And we're like, M1: Yeah, we're like, we're trying to get this content up and then we'll keep posting stories. We want things to be in order. We're very intentional about how the way that Mouse Lit Two and I do stories day to day to make sure that we're not just M2: Travel days too. M1: both randomly posting things, travel days, what we're talking about. Even literally this episode. When we were planning this episode, we said, This is a huge episode. It's our one year anniversary. We also are actively, as you're listening to this, on a trip to Disneyland. So we needed to figure out how do we want to handle The storytelling, you know, make we want everything to be cohesive. We ultimately decided the most important thing is our one year anniversary. If you want to hear a little bit more about our trip to Disneyland, you can check out the Peach and Pit Cruise segment that we did before this. We talked about it there. M2: And watch our stories, we're there right now. M1: Yeah, we're there right now. But everything is storytelling. And we literally learned it from this girl, this random girl. M2: This random person. And it's funny that we never thought about it, but like we weren't doing that strategy. And our when we would post a travel day, we would both use white text and we would both just randomly be posting. People didn't tell us apart. People still, I mean, I will say I think that in like 2018, 2019, we looked more similar. I don't think we looked similar, but I feel like I don't know, maybe we weren't on screen as I feel like a lot of people know the difference between us. Probably some people don't. But it was really hard to follow us when we weren't showing our faces. And it's like, I'm in Boston. Here's my suitcase. She's in New York. So we started using red text and yellow text, which mouse that one still complains about her yellow text. M1: I hate my yellow text, it's so crusty. I hate that color. Like seriously, it's disgusting. I'm so sorry. M2: Red's my favorite color, but it works red and yellow. I like the yellow. And we specifically do that. No, but my god, that would be bad storytelling. M1: The LUT switch. M2: Anyway, shout out to that queen. I'm gonna jump now a year and a half. After that woman in 2022 said that, she could propelled our content. She changed it. We did all these different things. So much fun. Honorable mention to September 2022. That was Mouse Leday's favorite trip. Wasn't a milestone, but it was really fun. August of 2023. We got invited by Disney. And a undercover tourist to do this special trip where they did a giveaway for an all expense paid trip to three different winners and a plus one to meet creators. And we spent a couple days in the parks together doing all these special events and rides and a scavenger hunt. It was so cool. All three of the people we met, we still talk to to this day, the other creators, it was a very special experience and certainly a milestone. M1: Yes. The next one, we did our first dance. Okay, some people make fun of our dancing. We dance purely for the love of the game. We think it's fun. And obviously, like TikTok dances are a thing. So now we try to do a dance like at least once per trip. Have we gotten better? I think so. I have to say. We have. No, but we've gotten better. Yes, we work very hard. M2: No, I I I we have. Are we good? No. Have we gotten better? Yes. We were atrocious. M1: You work very hard. we've done many dances now, but that was our first dance, and that's kind of like an iconic thing that we do on trips now. M2: And Mama Mouselit said that that was the peach of her trip was watching us and Mouselit three rehearse this dance for like two hours. 'Cause we had Mouselit. M1: In Animal Kingdom. Also, that was a dance we just made it up. Now we like learn dances that someone else choreographed. That dance Mouse of Three choreographed. M2: Yeah, we should repost that dance. That was iconic. In January of 2024, something very important happened. Me and Mouse Lit A entered our Star Wars era. And we've never been the same since. Star Wars is such. M1: That's so true in the worst way. M2: And Mouse Lit One sus my God. Sus surprised us? I kept saying subscribed. Mouse Lit One I M1: Surprise. I surprised you. M2: kept saying subscribed and then saying, no, it's not that. Surprised us with droids. the droids, I feel like it wasn't just the droids that were a turning point. It was just like we made droids on that trip and that kind of solidified it. But it was we entered a Star Wars era. I walked into Galaxy's Edge and I said, This land is amazing. I see it with a whole new light. It was incredible. I did all the rides and I said, jaw drop. Okay, and then M1: I've never experienced that. M2: I'll do the next one. In March of 2024, we are invited to the Empire State Building for a Star Wars event. Me and Mouse Day almost didn't go. We decided at like 9 p.m. that we were going to go and we had to drive to New York City, which was really a hike. And it was I took a day off of work in the middle of the week, which is very stressful for me to do, even though I have plenty of PTO. but I took a day off. It was so fun. We saw Hayden Christensen, that's gonna come up later in our special segment. And it was just so special. Felt like felt like real, yeah, real creators. I don't know. It was very cool. You even liked it. M1: It was cool. It was I also had lived in New York for like eight years and I'd never done the Empire State Building. So I was like, perfect. Check it off the list. in April 2024, we went on our first cruise. This was huge. I had been wanting to do a Disney cruise for so long. Mouse Lit 2 had M2: I had never wanted to. M1: not wanted to. Finally, we got the opportunity with the brand. We went. We became hooked. We love cruising. We've gone on three now. We have another one planned for the end of the year. That I feel like opened like a whole new thing for us, M2: A whole new M1: like a whole new seg a whole new segment for us. M2: No, did. It like entered us into our next era. what? in November M1: This is wrong. M2: of 2024. No, it's not. That was Jollywood. In November of 2024, we wrote I wrote November 2024, Sister Sisters, and we both thought that we were saying we launched the podcast then. No, in November of 2024, M1: And I said, We did not start I said, No, we didn't start it in November. M2: we did our sister sisters outfit for Jollywood. The fourth host of this podcast is Jollywood. We did our sister sisters outfit. Iconic in a lot of ways, but mostly iconic 'cause it gave us the name for this. so M1: Mostly that, but yes. Do you wanna do the next one? M2: Mouse slip one is writing something in the spreadsheet because I said the fourth host of this podcast and there's only two of us. So it's the third host of this podcast. okay, in January of 2025, I did something. We should should have talked about this and sitting on the ground talking, but I did something that we vowed to never do. We vowed we would never M1: We had always said from day one, we said the one thing we will never do M2: Never ado. M1: is you be YouTubers. M2: And I said on a whim, I don't know if it was January, it might have been like February, I think, that I said, I was at home at our parents' house and I said, I'm gonna record a YouTube video. And I did, and it did really well. And then I did another one and it did really well. I should have mentioned kind of like periodically through whenever 2023, 2024, I'm not totally sure when. YouTube created YouTube Shorts. I posted a bunch of random TikToks on there and we hit a hundred thousand on YouTube and like got a silver plaque, a platinum plaque. That's behind mouse at one, even though she hates YouTube, literally. M1: Yeah. M2: but anyway, I started YouTube and I started doing deep dives every single week, talking all about the Disney facts and stuff, and that started our YouTube era. Mouse that one joined maybe in the summer of twenty twenty five, fall. M1: Think April. M2: No. M1: March or April, yes. M2: No. And that propelled us into these deep dives that we do on YouTube, which are truly such a passion project for me. I love research. It's like writing a book report and I love a book report. Mouse and one doesn't love a book report, but she does it and her videos are cool as well. So it works, even though you don't love it as much as I do. M1: I don't love it, but that's okay. And some of you are watching on YouTube right now, and I really actually do want to figure out when the first one I did was because Mal Sadu was telling me that. M2: is that what you're trying to do? I was like, what are your like I see your eyes on the screen that you're sitting there? My first one ever was M1: Yeah, I was trying I was trying to figure out when I posted my first one. M2: on the Wonders of Life Pavilion. And then I did a follow-up to Buzzy. And that video gets a lot of clicks. And I want to tell everyone who watches, I want to be like, because we posted other stuff on YouTube before. Like we would periodically make a video. We did a scavenger hunt. We would do vlogs, just like sometimes. But yeah, the very first deep dive was the abandoned Epcot Pavilion. And Then I did Buzzy, then I did Toontown, then I did Pop Century, then I did MGM, Star Wars, Monorail Resorts, then you did Marvel. M1: February 17th. So that's when my first one was posted. Yes. M2: Okay, I guess I started at the beginning of January, probably. M1: moving on to the summer of 2025, we got invited by Disneyland Paris directly, not via someone else, Disneyland Paris directly, to come to their global media event. It was a multi-part trip that was partially in Paris, partially in Disneyland Paris. We got to experience so many things. It was one of the coolest, most pinch me moments that we have ever had. It's yeah, it was M2: Of my life. Of my life. M1: so special and so, so cool. M2: It was insane. August twenty twenty five, we started this podcast. We started sisters sisters. Crazy. We said the one thing we have to do is we have to do it every week. And we have, and we we took up one vacation for Christmas, but we said we're gonna do it every week. You have to stick with it, and we have, and it's been so fun. The final two. M1: In May 2026, I got to take my son, the Micklet, on his very first trip. We've done a lot of content about this. If you're interested in it, but I took him at three months old, and I have absolutely no regrets. I'm so glad that I did. It was so special. And I see so much content online about how people say, like, every time you bring your kid to Disney, it's like you're bringing a different kid, which I feel so much. Like he's so different now than he was at yeah. M2: I was gonna say if he went right now, I can't it would be so different. M1: It's so he's so different now than he was at three months, so I can't wait for him to go again. But I'm so glad that we got to bring him for that first trip. It was so special. It was like something I've dreamed of my whole life. And our very last one just happened. M2: June of 2026, Disney invited us out for a descendants event in the parks. It was very fun with so many creators we haven't seen in a while. It was so, so special, and it was great. And we're about to have a new one. We're going to D our first D23, which I think will be another milestone. But we have honestly like we had to skip over so many things. I mean, this podcast is already gonna be excessively long, and I'm sorry about it, but also not. But these are all things that feel like a turning point. Not to mention just through all of this, the memories we've made with like our family and bringing our friends and bringing our partners to Disney and doing all of these special things. It is crazy. And yeah, having this podcast and sharing all of these things we love has been so fun. And so to get into our special segment, let me play the bit. I need a special segment bit. And I've been saying I was gonna make one. And that's a little special segment. Anyone M1: I was gonna say add it to the list of things that we said we were gonna do for the last year and we haven't done yet. M2: have any ideas? We're gonna do Sister Sisters Mouse Lets podcast and various random other things, superlatives. Things we talk about, other things. I came up with all of these with mouse A and Mouse Let one sort of filled in a couple of them. So we'll see what you think. I guess. M1: Guys, I had a horrible day. You'll hear about it at my pit. But to start, we are starting our first approlative is the third host of this podcast. And the nominees are James, Malceto's coworker. M2: My my coworker. The boo button. M1: Jollywood. M2: And recently it's tough to be a bug. Flick. And the winner is I'm curious what you'll say. We haven't decided a winner. The winner in my mind, ooh, there's two. It's M1: No. There's two for me as well. M2: Jollywood or James. M1: mine was Jollywood or the Boo Button. So I guess Jollywood is the winner. And you know what? It's almost Jollywood M2: Jollywood is the winner. Jollywood is the th M1: season. Jollywood season is coming upon us. The third host of this podcast will be back. M2: Next up, the category is. Is that the is that what you said? The category is our most overused word on the podcast. number one, nominee one, Jollywood. We're alternating. M1: Number two, quintessential. M2: Number three, boo. M1: Number four, James. M2: Number five, Geppetto. I actually think Geppetto's underused. Yeah, we should. M1: I do too, we should say it more. Number six, twenty eighteen. M2: Number seven, deep dive. M1: Big wink to all my YouTube watchers out there, deep dive. And number eight, je ne sais quoi. M2: And the winner is, see it in count three, one, two, three, quintessential. Yeah. Yep. M1: Quintessential. Quintessential. That's a word that has really become a thing only throughout this podcast. Like I said it a few times and then it like just became a thing, but it wasn't really a word that we used a lot before that. M2: You just got into it. okay, best sound effect, worst sound effect, some might say, it's the boo button. It's the most overused, it's the best, it's the worst, M1: It sweeps the category. M2: it's there's no one else. It's the only nominee and it won. M1: next, most iconic mouse let's year. The nominees are twenty eighteen, twenty twenty two, twenty twenty three, and twenty twenty five. I think the winner is clear. It is Twenty eighteen, Laura. Twenty eighteen. M2: It's gotta be twenty eighteen. next up, this is a little tie back to our OG, our first episode, where we released our Patreon segment to everyone just so you could hear what it was. And we talked about our biggest fight, the Tomorrowland fight, the avocado toast fight. We teased that, the ratatouille fight, and there was also a fight about a hair tie in Disneyland Paris. I don't know if we've told that story fully, so it's M1: I'll tell it quickly because I see that there's a smiley face in here mouse that I must have must have put that. Guys, M2: Mousel A wrote that M1: tell me whose side you're on, okay? We're in Disneyland Paris. M2: No, be I you know what I will tell this story because I am a non-biased partisan of this. We are in we are in Disneyland, M1: Except you're like not, but go ahead. M2: Paris. You need to know something. Mausoday is very particular about her hair ties. She does not like when we mix them up. M1: Continue. Continue the story. No disclaimers. It was dis M2: Mouse Lit I I French braided her hair into a single French braid in the back with one of her hair ties. Mouse Lit One had one hair tie. I had an extra scrunchie, I believe, or maybe it was whatever. And Mouse Lit One wanted to put her hair in two French braids on the side. M1: It was a disgusting day in the parks. I felt gross. I wanted to do two. M2: And so she said, I'm not gonna put a giant scrunchie on one side and a hair tie on the other. Mouse, you only have one braid. Can we swap? You take the scrunchie. I'll take the hair tie. I'll give it back to you. Mouse Day said, No way. That's the story. I know Mouse M1: She guys, she she didn't give it to me. So I had my hair in two braids. One had a regular hair tie, one had a giant scrunchie. And no, I mean M2: You were looking for a hair tie on the ground, which is insane also. M1: I was desperate. She wouldn't give me the hair tie off her head. Everyone vote in the comments. M2: But she's particular with a hair ties and it was hers and she said Malsa one should M1: And if you agree with me, say boo mouse lit A. M2: No, no, no, no. She's gonna come in here. She already said there was something else she was gonna defend herself about. our biggest fight though by far is a Tomorrowland fight. So, no question. M1: The Tomorrowland fight. And if you don't know what we're talking about, listen to the very first episode of this podcast. All of these fights have been discussed at some point in time. but that one was definitely the worst one. okay, the next category. Most iconic dance. Christmas with Mouselit Three, which is the dance that I was just referencing where Mouselith III choreographed the entire thing. What M2: sisters, sisters. M1: or Disneyland Circle. What's that? this is the dance that we did in Toontown and we made Mouselette A and Mouselit C do it with us and Terran. I mean, so M2: Yep. And Mouseless C was dying. M1: many people were sitting there waiting for characters to come out, staring at us. M2: Yeah. I'm sh there are many others. I mean, we've done a lot of dances, but Sister Sisters is my winner. M1: Me too. Most iconic. Christmas with Mouse of Three is a close second because that was our f second first dance ever, and he choreographed M2: It was maybe yeah. M1: it. But Sister Sisters was big. M2: Favorite main topic of the episode that we've ever done. Favorite yeah. I mean, these are just a smattering. I I like a lot of them. I don't know if I can choose, but the Star Wars episode, Polynesian Deep Dive, the Toy Story Land Deep Dive, and I the Roz. Are we missing any others? M1: So it's so hard. I mean, we've done so many episodes. We've done 50 episodes before this one. M2: I can't pick. I love them all. M1: I do too. I have to say, I really loved our Toy Storyland deep dive. I just thought it was for M2: you did peck. M1: once very timely. We're not usually super good about being timely. It was very timely, and I thought we had a lot of information to share. okay, the next category is favorite special segment, and we have a sad little tribute here, which is that Mouse Lit 2 and I have One singular lost episode where we recorded an entire episode. We'll talk about why that episode didn't get released later. Hint hint. It's due to the awful recording platform that we use. and M2: All right. M1: we played a game on it where we had each pulled sounds from attractions and did like guess the attraction. It was so fun. But when we had to go back and re-record the episode, we obviously couldn't redo we knew M2: We knew the answers. M1: the answers and we didn't re pull the ex. M2: We've never done it again since and it was really fun. M1: 'Cause it's a kind of a lot of work to do, but it was really fun. So that was devastating. The M2: We should we should do it. the next nominee is Mouselitz Lore. Mouselit's Lore drop. M1: The next nominee is the Dull Disney Club. M2: the final is the State of the Union. I don't know. I love the Dell Disney Club. The I love a game. I I'm gonna choose the game. I love this game for a special segment. You always say we're doing too many games. I say, We could never do enough. I love games. M1: I do feel like we do a lot of games, but I do that game from the last episode is one of my favorites and it's devastating that I never saw the light of day. M2: Next up, the funniest moment. We have two nominees for this. There's probably others, but the first was Mouse Leday not being able to read out loud. and me and Taryn and Mouse Lay. This was when M1 was on maternity leave and we were basically peeing our pants laughing. M1: And the other one was honestly, I think that most people actually couldn't understand what we were laughing about. Mouselit two was telling the most boring story of all time about a ceiling tile falling down at work. M2: That I had told anyone I could already that day as well. M1: And we just started like laughing so hard that again, I think the story itself was unintelligible, but you missed absolutely nothing. because it was so boring. For me, that is my winner. M2: Mouse Leday Mouse Leday not being able to read was my winner. It was the funniest thing ever, seriously. it makes me laugh now. I'll do the next one. The next one M1: This next one is very, very, very rude. M2: is the worst piece of news, and there's one nominee and there's one winner, and it is the fact that Pop Century changed their bellhop costumes. That is the worst piece of news Mouse One has ever included. So niche. M1: Okay, I'll skip to the next one. The the category is most tech difficulties. There's only one nominee. It is Mouse Lit 2. If you don't listen to the Patreon segment, Mouse Lit 2 has tech difficulties. Every time we record, she rips her microphone cord out with her toe. She smashes her knee into her microphone. It's always sort of microphone related. And M2: It's microphone related. M1: she she is a nightmare to record with. She's an absolute menace. M2: Okay, our best last minute pivot. Another one. There's one nominee, and it is when Mouse One went to a Yankees game. And I had to last minute get Mouse three on the podcast. M1: Guys, I liter this was like really early on in the podcast. So I we weren't really in the mindset that we're in now where, you know, we are always thinking about when we're gonna record. And it M2: Also, Mousel Day has a microphone that we got her because she comes on now. And Taryn has a microphone. Mouse Let three doesn't yet, but. M1: Yeah. No, it was a Wednesday night and we got this like last minute invite to go to a Yankees game. I'm on the way and I said, I said, my gosh, Malsa too, the podcast. And she said, and she called Malsa three up and he joined. the next one, the next nominee. I've already hinted at this biggest editing blunder, one nominee only, when we had to re record, thanks to the platform that we record on, being a piece of garbage. Honestly, we've had so many issues with this platform, and I know everyone's gonna say, switch platforms. There's no other platform that does there's no other platform that M2: It's good for a lot of good for a lot of things. M1: does what this one does. So when it's good, this platform's really good. But when it's bad, it's so bad. the number of times that I've chatted with their tech support. I'll c I'll say their name. It's Riverside. You don't edit, you don't deal with the issues. M2: I like I like Riverside, but I don't like I do sometimes. The worst recording setup. Not the setup I have here, which is good. It's when I was on a Disney trip. I had to bring my microphone. Actually there's two nominees, and I had to record in the bathroom. That was bad. The second one is when me and Mouse the one tried to film an in person episode and we held these microphones. And that's actually might be the winner. M1: That is my worst one. The background was we were in your childhood bedroom. We're sitting so far apart. We're holding the microphones. The background is so chaotic. I also was like seven M2: Holding the M1: and a half months pregnant. It just like everything about it is absolutely heinous. But the execution M2: But the idea of it was good. The idea of it was good. M1: of it was awful. That is absolutely my winner. Okay, the next. The category is hottest we've ever been in the parks. the first. nominee is when I had to walk back alone from basically jelly rolls all the way back to Epcot and get the pink bag and then come all the way M2: 'Cause you forgot it. M1: back because I we forgot it by myself and Malsa T would not come with me and I'd never been hotter in my life probably. M2: Okay, I'll do the next two because I don't know if you remember these. April twenty twenty three. We were there for Tron. We were doing a preview. We were wa wearing Tron outfits. We were watching Festival of Fantasy. We got a chocolate covered marshmallow M1: We were sitting by the train station. M2: with blue and teal MMs. Yes, we're sitting by the train station and I basically died. It was so hot. But the last one, and this is the winner, was July of twenty twenty four when we had to walk to the Epcot parking lot. carrying solar umbrellas, thank God, to our car, which was seven hundred thousand degrees and drive to Hollywood Studios. And I'm not joking when I say mouse the one literally had heat stroke. Like literally, M1: No, guys, I got s M2: she was sick. M1: I was so sick. This walk across the parking lot, it was so far. They weren't running the trams, of course. It was so far. I like even in the car getting all the way to Hollywood Studios, getting into Hollywood Studios. We had a lightning lane for Tower of Terror something and I said, I literally cannot ride it. I had to go through the exit door and go lay down on a bench in the exit of Tower of Terror and try and cool down. I like had actual like heat stroke. That's the winner for sure. M2: It was insane. Okay. This next one. Yeah, this is funny. M1: What on earth does this even say? M2: This, okay, our favorite visit. And I was I was showering and I said, Mouse today, write this down. The last of the very great wing doodles. Okay. And I said she said, and she wrote The Last of the Very Great Wing Doodles. Right. The last, but but I realized M1: I mean I know what the last of the very great wing doodles is w M2: that I don't know if not The Last of the Very Great Wing Doodles is a book written by Julie Andrews. M1: Julie Andrews. It's so random, but it was an amazing book. I remember I read it a million times. M2: It was an amazing book. Any children who have yeah, there was another book too with about a girl named Mandy, I think. Anyway, the last of the very great Wang Doodles, February twenty twenty five, the last trip, because you before like things changed. That was our Island Tower trip that we took. After that, that was the last trip me, Mouselit A, you, and Mouselit C all took together. That was just like regular. Cause now it's different. You have the baby and it just changes it. That was like our last kind of hurrah. And we did one more at Fort Wilderness, but you were very pregnant. It was just like a very different type of trip. And so that was what stuck out. This is the last this is the last great trip. M1: Was it? M2: February 2025. That sticks out as a very special trip. We have a lot of very special family trips too. but that was one that was stuck out. So I'm gonna M1: It was. M2: say that's our favorite visit for now. M1: The next category is biggest mice. If you don't know what a mice is, in our family, if you do something embarrassing, everyone goes, Mies, it's a mice. Okay, you it's a mice. That's just the word that we use. M2: It star it came from mouse lit s mouse lit three being saying under his breath, he's me, he's me, and then it turned into that. nope, couldn't tell you why. But we say it. We've said it for years, like decade, a decade, years. M1: Don't tell don't know the connection. The nominees are the time that we arrived at the Orlando Airport, walked to the garage to pick up our rental car, said, my god, how rude, our name isn't on the board, realized we had never booked a rental car. M2: The next is when I ordered a mimosa for dinner at Spice Road table because I thought that it was a sangria because I forgot what a mimosa was. That was recently. M1: The next is when we were standing in Epcot and Mouselit 2 said, Huh, my flight just changed directions before my eyes because it turns out she had booked her f M2: Well, I I'm I didn't like I knew that didn't actually happen. I just meant I finally realized I made a mistake, just to be clear. M1: She had booked her flight to go home as a flight from Boston to Orlando. She had booked it the wrong direction. M2: Yep. The next is when everyone we were at an event with dressed up in very special, very pretty dresses and we wore Pumba and Timon shirts. M1: That was horrific. the next is when we were dressing up as our sister's sister's outfit for Jollywood. And the first iteration of that outfit was the most horrifically heinously ugly, awful, embarrassing M2: It was M1: thing. And I told Noclett too, this is completely unacceptable. And she said, M2: That's not even true. M1: She said, No, I think it's fine. M2: No, then I saw it and I said it's not. the the next was when I surprised Mouse one for her birthday, thirtieth maybe can't remember, with a fireworks cruise and M1: Twenty eighth birthday. M2: Older than you were then. That's sickening. And Mouse let sea didn't know a single thing about Disney. And we were there, but I obviously didn't to tell Mouse at one where we were. So it was like this whole thing. He didn't bring a coat. He was on short sleeves. It was freezing. And he didn't understand that we were there. M1: It was free it was January. M2: I don't know why he didn't understand or didn't ask or didn't say anything. I remember I was like, Do you want to take your bag? And like I said, and he was like, No, because he didn't understand that we weren't coming back. And we were on the boat and he was freezing the entire time. there was also another one that Did you forget your makeup once enough to borrow mine on a Disney trip or something? Sort of remember that happening. M1: Mm, probably. M2: And you were very upset. It was you had to borrow me and mom's and you were very upset about it. M1: I I would be very upset if that happened right now, so I'm sure that I was. What's your winner? M2: Gosh, I mean M1: I have two contenders. Pumba and Timon, M2: I I think Pumba and Timon are my biggest mize. M1: or the original sister sisters outfits, but because we didn't actually wear those in public M2: Yeah. M1: and we wore the Pumba and Timon shirts, but just to be clear, guys, everyone else was in very fancy dresses. And Mouse too and I were wearing giant Timone and Pumba shirts. It was the most humiliating. M2: So embarrassing. M1: No, it was horrible. It was such a mess. M2: Okay, next up, this flows so nicely. the best surprise. I surprised Mouse at one with the fireworks crews. Mouselet one surprised me, Mouse Letty with droids and lightsabers also. I surprised Mouse at one with an engagement photo shoot. Mouse at one surprised me with a special event for my birthday. Mouse at one surprised us with a we love surprises, a Grand Floridian spa. Our family loves surprises. I don't M1: My family loves surprises. M2: think I can pick because they were all fun for different reasons. M1: Same and it would be mean to pick. The next. M2: It would. M1: The most licious outfits. Another mouse litz word. Okay. If something is, I can't even think of a word to describe it because there is no word licious. M2: The only word to describe it is lish. This needs to be a real word. It's like M1: It comes from the phrase q delicious. Okay. Like, but it doesn't mean cute. It doesn't mean cute. But like back in the day, we would say q delicious. M2: It's like it's like, yes, that is it. It's kinda like, yep, that looks so good. M1: Like when you finally come up with the perfect outfit for Disney, you say, my God, this is delicious. When you're having M2: Lishus or lish. M1: like a perfect, you're like, you know, you just look your best. You're like, I look licious. Okay. M2: I wrote these to be clear. So I there's probably others that I'm missing, but our sister sisters outfit. I feel like those turned out really well. I felt very good that night. M1: Malsa too wrote all of these, so M2: All right, our Disneyland Mickey on Main Street. We went in, we bought like these oversized T shirts. We put on and we said, we feel licious. M1: No, we feel it's just. M2: This one's a joke. When we wore white shirts and jean shorts in June of twenty twenty one and we thought we looked delicious and we looked horrid. M1: We looked back at the pictures, looked so ugly. M2: our fifties style Jollywood outfit. I felt pretty good that night. Yeah. M1: From this year, fr I've I felt absolutely awful. M2: the fiftieth anniversary. Our M1: That was delicious. M2: Toon Town Alfred's Disneyland Mouse today wanted to throw that one in. M1: that's that's cute. M2: Yeah, anything I missed? M1: No. Well, I'm sure there were actually, but like when did I feel the most delicious? I I'm fifty M2: I've had like outfits like a Star Wars outfit that I'm like, I felt good then. When my hair is very long, M1: Yeah, I've worn like up M2: I feel good. M1: my god. Randomly that one day that we were on a frog hop, we were wearing black shirts and jean shorts. We had our pom pom earrings and our up bags and we got refreshers at Magic Kingdom. It was the most random outfit, but we felt licious. Yeah. M2: That was yeah. That was the first hop. That was the first hop. Speaking of milestones, that was a good one. That might be it. M1: I think it was that, honestly. M2: Or what do we wear those black dresses to California Adventure? Or would we wear those black M1: yeah. Might be that. M2: dresses to contempt? Black dresses, basic black dresses matching ears. M1: Black dresses. Yeah. Yep. M2: okay. M1: Okay. Best mouse let's hack, the first nominee using David's vacation club rentals. M2: The next nominee, lying to Mouselit One about the time we have to leave, so she's on time. M1: Here's the thing, guys, Mouse 2 makes up a time to tell me, then gets furious when I don't meet that time, even though we both know that that time was a lie. M2: Well, guess what? You don't meet the other time that we actually want to meet. Also, we do that Mousey doesn't listen to this podcast. so we do that to him. So we have to M1: We do that to Mosel C. M2: leave at seven thirty and really want to leave it like eight. And at like eight five we roll out the door. M1: owner's lockers, which if you don't know, is where you can get a giant bin, keep all of your stuff in it. It's stored in Florida. We are devastated that we have to go to Disneyland and we do not have our owner's lockers there and we have to carry all this stuff that we don't normally have to carry. It's actually so upsetting. M2: It's actually devastating. okay, the next one is a manager special from Hertz. It's when you get a really cheap car. It's always worked really well for us. all right. Of that list, M1: Which is your winner? M2: I mean, my owner's locker is is niche and I know it's not for everyone, but for us it's amazing. But I'll say David's, David's Vacation Club Rentals. I mean, it's M1: That's where you can save the most money. M2: it's amazing. M1: Yes. Okay, the next category. This is some niche mouse lit's lore if you're a true podcast listener. The best bagged lunch back when Mouse Latoo and I used to bring lunches. M2: This is twenty eighteen lore. Mouse Late Mouse Leday wrote this one herself. M1: Mac and cheese and soy nuggets. This is the first nominee. Mouse Latoo's lunch. M2: A hot dog and potato salad on a sandwich. That was Mouselet One's lunch and I proved it with a photo. M1: And green beans. M2: Yeah. M1: Honestly, hot dog and potato salad is so good. M2: You like there's an episode where you denied it and said I would never eat that. the I honestly, thrifty of us, we still bring lunches sometimes. Those lunches specifically sucked though. The worst M1: No, but yeah. M2: meal we've ever had. The veggie burger from Cosmic Rays. my God. Awful. M1: my god, the cheese, the cheese, what is that word? Not curdled. The M2: Congealed. M1: congealed cheese I had from Pinocchio's village house, the gnoc, makes me sick. M2: I said that to Mousel A and she goes, Don't gross people out. And she didn't write congealed. Mama Mama Melrose, awful. M1: Which mouse later they wrote as Mama Maltose. M2: And the mouse lady insisted on saying beacon barrel because she had a very bad experience, even though the food was decent. M1: Okay. Yeah, the food was good. Mine worst is absolutely the congealed cheese from the new. M2: Mama Melrose, the portions were minuscule, but like it tasted okay. Veggie M1: Food isn't bad. M2: burger from Cosmic Rays, for sure. And if it was if we were talking about something that was just like the worst meal I've ever had in my actual entire life, I would say it's the green beans from Cracker Barrel. okay, the best meal, the best food, just the best thing. M1: These are written by Mousel too and it's a very obvious. M2: Number one, Boma breakfast. Number two, the Malva cake. I miss it. I miss it so much. I crave it. I pray for the day that it makes its return. M1: If you don't know what this is, it was a random thing that was offered at Animal Kingdom for like three months. M2: twenty eighteen and it was amazing. M1: the brown derby rolls and the cob salad. M2: And basically anything from Wailu. M1: Ooh, this is really hard. Obviously the Malva cake is completely out. M2: Only because it's not available. I mean, Boma breakfast is gonna be my best meal. I love Wailulu and I love the brown derby rolls and cob salad. I love a lot of places, but for me, Boma breakfast is like a surefire hit always. It's amazing. M1: I love Boma breakfast, but I may have to say Waylulu. I am obsessed with the food of Waylulu. M2: Wow. M1: I think it's so good. M2: All right, our final five categories. M1: My god, the worst sickness. Number one. M2: What? The worst sickness. Mouselit one got sick before our cruise and some kind woman brought her afferin, which is some like nose spray thing in the parks. That was bad. M1: In Epcot. If you know, you know. I literally can't wear that dress anymore because I feel so disgusting. M2: I'll jump ahead. That sickness then transferred to me and I was very sick the entire cruise instead of which I didn't realize and then I got on the cruise and like a you know, a day into it, I was just sucking down vitamin water nonstop. They Daniel, our server or like drinks guy, would just bring me vitamin water all din dinner. Space. M1: the time that we were children and Mouse III was jumping in a bounce house at SeaWorld and broke his elbow and he had to go to a hospital in Orlando that was full of prisoners. M2: I was about to say there were prisoners everywhere. We went to this we M1: So random M2: went to this hospital and there I there were g two girls in orange shackled shackled in this prison. No, I mean in the hospital. I remember Mama Bowser being very thrown off. They M1: Like in orange jumpsuits with handcuffs Not the prison I mean prisoners I guess prisoners have to go to hospital too, but like M2: were obviously faking it. Mousla A got incredibly ill in Disneyland Paris. M1: Is that it? my god, M2: I mean yeah. M1: I threw up on our like last trip. Remember? No, I threw up after like Chef Mickey. M2: No, that was years and years ago. On the plane? M1: No. years and years ago. Okay, that was horrible. Years and years ago, I got food poisoning from a Ruby Tuesdays in LAX. We took a red eye home and I was moving apartments that day. And I threw up 12 times on the plane. That was awful. But no, I M2: Disgusting. M1: also threw up on our last trip after Chef Mickey. I got like really sick. M2: What in May? Where were we staying? we were in separate rooms. We were in different rooms. That wasn't on my radar. I didn't even know that. I broke my toe at Riviera, my pinky toe. That was bad. That's the winner. That's and that and the winner is that. Okay. The best M1: Yes and like nobody cared. Like nobody Yeah, but like nobody cared. Okay. You didn't break it. No, that's no. No it's not. M2: new ride experience. This is when we ride a ride, and after we say, that was amazing. Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. Test track. Rise of the Resistance or Tron. It's obviously not Tron. M1: Guardians. It's guardians. Or rise. It's rise. M2: It's Rise. It's Rise. I think it's Rise. Guardians was amazing, but when we got off Rise, we were Guardians is an amazing roller coaster. Rise was like an experience. We could have put Flight of M1: An experience. M2: Passage on here, but that one doesn't do it for me. So it's Rise for me. M1: Okay, our best Orlando experience that is not Disney. Mauselay clearly wrote this. Dolphins thing, aka Discovery Cove. M2: Discovery Cove, Universal. M1: Aquatica, which is Universal's water park that we're randomly obsessed with. M2: Or flipper's pizza. M1: Which is a local Orlando pizza place. That's like objectively fine. Yeah. M2: I think it's like a big chain actually at this point. No, it's great. It's amazing. Aquatica. Well, I love Discovery Cove too. Discovery M1: No, Discovery Cove. For sure, Discovery Cove. M2: Cove, I guess. Yeah. Discovery Cove. Okay. The final two the biggest hotel disaster that we've ever had. when we tried we've told this story before. We booked a hotel at Disneyland and all the rip the reviews showed a rat eating a roll in it, and there was blood on the sheets and there are bugs in the bed and it wasn't cleaned. We stayed there one night, M1: It was disgusting, we had to leave. M2: it was horrible. and the other one is when my Disneyland my hotel adjacent to Disneyland canceled on me because it had become an emergency homeless shelter that day. They told me maybe an hour before check-in and I had to scramble and find another hotel. M1: Yeah. M2: I think those are only really bad ones. M1: I mean those two were like obscenely bad. So anything else like pales in comparison. M2: The twenty eighteen hotel won. I mean, that's obviously the winner. That was insane. That was insane. M1: And our last category is best celebrity sighting. The nominees are the time that we saw Christina Aguilera. And by we, I mean actually only me saw Christina Aguilera outside of Epcot, because despite Mouselit two technically seeing Christina Aguilera, she never noticed her. M2: I don't even know if we've told this story in so long. Have we? We were sitting at The M1: Would you like to explain? Would you like M2: Joffrey's by Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, which was not open at the time. it was just an empty shell and they closed Ellen's. Anyway, unrelated. We're sitting there and like the grass and we look and Mouse One goes, There's a group, there's people, VIP tour guide, these people. Mouse one goes, I think that's Christina Aguilera. And I'm looking at her and I'm like, I don't know much about Christina Aguilera, but I said, That's not Christina Aguilera. And she goes, I'm pretty sure it is. And I'm like, no way. I said, maybe that's Lady Gaga. She kind of looked like Lady Gaga. I said, maybe, but like, I don't think it even is. I said, it's just a random person. I look up a picture of Christina Aguilera. I say, that's not her. Mouse at one is like, I'm counting her piercings on her ear. Like that is her. And I'm like, that's not her. I was looking at her friend Sarah, because I heard her when I say the name Sarah. I didn't see her at all. I took a bunch of pictures of Sarah, and Christina Aguilera is in the background of them. M1: Yeah, so when they walked away, Mousela Two is holding it up and she goes, This is not Christina Aguilera. Christina Aguilera is literally standing behind her. Mouse Latwoo is looking at this random girl, Sarah. so Christina M2: Yep. That was iconic. M1: Aguilera is number one. Nominee number two is, of course, Sarah. Nominee M2: Sarah. Yep. M1: number three is the time that we randomly saw Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White filming for Wheel of Fortune in Adventureland. M2: And we took a picture of him. Sorry, I just wanted to show everybody the pictures I took of Christina Aguilera. if you're looking, and behind her on the on the left is Sarah. and I was I literally didn't see her in any of these pictures. This is Sarah. Hi, Sarah. I think that's her name. She's wearing a prisoner of love t shirt. And I said, Is it Lady Galga? I said, There's no this is Christina Aguilera. And then right next to her, that's actually crazy. M1: That is Christina Aguilera. No. M2: yeah, we met Ryan Secrets and I was brave enough to ask him for a photo and then seeing Hayden Christensen. in the Empire State building. M1: Mine is Christine Aguilar, my winner, because it was iconic. M2: I mean, it was iconic, although I loved Mouse at R, Ryan. That was fun too. And I loved Hayden. I M1: No, of course I loved him. M2: love you, Hayden. guys, those are our superlatives. That was like a smattering of topics. We'll do this again for our two year anniversary. So see you in a year. but now it's ten o'clock. We're leaving when we're recording this, we leave for Disney. I have to wake up with the crack of dawn, take my suitcase into Boston. If you know, you know. M1: I have two to pack. M2: Well, I have to go to Boston tomorrow at five AM. So let's do our pit and peach. My pit is that I have to go to Boston tomorrow at five AM with my suitcase. M1: My pit is that a solicitor came to our house and asked if we wanted a quote on getting our windows replaced. M2: my God, it was a solicitor and you said yes? M1: Mouse C said yes, days ago. They scheduled to come today. It was supposed to be one hour. Two hours and 45 minutes later, I literally had to like kick the man out the door and say, I'm sorry, but any other information you need to send us via email because I need my husband, Mouse C, to come take care of the screaming Micklet to put him to sleep. So that I can record this podcast because it takes a while for him to go to his sleep. It was so frustrating. Also, my neighbor threatened to call the cops on my the window. M2: because he parked in front of his house. My peach is that we are going to D twenty three and I'm incredibly excited. M1: That's not allowed to be your peach and you know that. Do something specific about the trip or G twenty three. M2: Too. M1: My specific peach about the trip is obviously seeing our friend Taryn and also staying M2: Mm. M1: at the Disneyland Hotel. The vibes at the Disneyland Hotel are just immaculate, M2: Yeah, Sayance is in Hotel. Agreed. M1: and I am so happy we made that decision. M2: All right, let's end with the fact of the day. I guess I'll do a Disneyland one. in nineteen fifty five, Disneyland opened up. just to do a history. I'll get there in a minute. Just kidding. And two years later, Walt decided he wanted to add a Sleeping Beauty walkthrough attraction in Sleeping Beauty Castle. And it was just like its shell basically, and they opened it up and there were a ton of feral cats living in there. And the feral cats still live at Disneyland and take care of the pests, although they're less feral now. But M1: should I do a Disneyland fact? M2: You should. M1: Let me think of one. Hmm. Do you have anything for me? Sort of make me think of one. M2: Main Street. M1: I know I was gonna do Main Street. M2: Wizard of bras? M1: was this Disneyland? Steve Martin used to work at the magic shop on Main M2: The magic shop on Main Street USA. M1: Street USA. M2: That's a good one. All right, guys. This was a long one. It was a good one, though.
