M2: Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of Sisters Sisters. We just got back from Disney. M1: We did, and I feel like my nose looks so red if you're watching on video because I was just crying, laughing in our sitting on the ground talking segment that we've recorded before this for Patreon. So if you're curious to hear more about that where we told some stories about how Mouselet2 was accused of wheeling and dealing about how I spilled a milkshake on myself. Anyways, you can listen to that segment, we just, well, no, but we just got back from our trip. M2: So you do admit that it was a milkshake. The biggest thing you need to know is that I'm dead. I'm deceased right now. Also, I think I have a canker sore from too much sugar. M1: ⁓ Ew, I am dead. I actually got sick. I actually got sick. We'll talk about that towards the end of the episode, but I literally got sick and I'm recovering now. But so normally at the top of the episode, we do a bunch of chit chat. But today we actually have so much to discuss that there's no time for chit chat. We're going to be chit chatting the entire episode. And so we're jumping straight in to a little teeny bit of news. M2: You have pink eye. Yeah. There's some good news, I think you missed a few pieces and I've kind of filled in so why don't you go first three and then I'll go bottom three M1: Okay, so the first three are that ⁓ there were some movie billboards installed at Animation Courtyard. And in general, Animation Courtyard has been getting a lot of new touches that sort of make it look more like a true studio lot. Now, Slutoo and I got to see some of those on our trip and honestly, we're obsessed. They did such a good job. They're still adding new little touches like these movie billboards. There's a Lady and the Tramp one and a Tangled one. M2: Looks so good. It looks good. M1: But there's just it feels like old Hollywood studios again in the absolute best way. It's all very subtle It's nothing crazy, but it's just like they're really doing a good job of not just making that look like a big blank stupid You know open area and I love it M2: They're finally not like cutting corners. feel like it was just, like, God, how did they get away with it so long? What it was before? Like all that random stuff. Like finally they are, yeah, they're not cutting corners. And I'm really happy about that. I think it looks amazing. We just saw some of that. M1: The next one is Mickey's not so scary Halloween party tickets officially went on sale. ⁓ Some years there is a party on Halloween night. Some years there's not. It depends on the day of the week that Halloween falls on. This year there is one and it's already sold out which is not surprising. the event does, typically most night of the event will sell out at some point. But Halloween is the first to go and so if you want to get your tickets, you know, get them sooner rather than later. I do think that Mouselete and I are not gonna go this year. M2: Wow. I'm going to Oogie Boogie this year, so at least I'm going to something. Yeah, here it comes. Where's the booba? And yeah, here it is. All right, piece of news. M1: Sorry, where's the boo button? I know. Both water parks are now open and you get a free water park day on check in day. Sadly, we missed that. M2: We literally, ⁓ I need to renew my annual pass. M1: I need to run new mouse, let's see. Okay, we're gonna end up making mental notes to ourselves. M2: Okay. A couple more pieces of news, ⁓ updated pre-show. So Smuggler's Run, well, there's a bunch of things opening on the 26th. The new Smuggler's Run opens on the 26th. Rock and Roller Coaster opens up on the 26th. Sword opens on the 26th. Sword opens up on the 26th, ⁓ but people got a first peek at the new pre-show for Smuggler's Run with Mandalorian. Very exciting. Also, big, big, big news, huge news. M1: 28th. ⁓ Wait, is Hondo going away for the smugglers run thing? ⁓ M2: No, huge news. The crew cup, the cruise cup has reopened, which is the lounge at yacht club. M1: I did see this, I did see this. M2: And you know what lounge is at the beach club right nearby that hasn't been touched yet? Martha's Vineyard. I'm so I personally we missed out on the last trip, but I said, where do I want to bring mom and pop a mouselet? Maybe something that has the aesthetic of a nursing home in like the the suburbs of New Jersey, the Martha's Vineyard Lounge. I think it might I think it might be getting a refurb soon. M1: Yeah. Why does this video doesn't need to be touched? It's so beautiful. M2: And honestly, again, I could go to Home Goods and I could spruce that place up. So, okay, the last thing I'm gonna just mention, have you heard this stuff about project bubbles and the Amazon thing? Like it's been all over, it's been all the buzz on TikTok and stuff is that like Disney filed some permit that says like Amazon and people think that Disney is gonna have like a tiny little like Amazon pickup window at one of the resorts. I don't know if I think that they will. M1: I mean... No, I have no idea what this says. Interesting. Okay, well, we stayed at the Grand Floridian for part of this trip, and I actually had an amazing experience because they delivered my two Amazon packages directly to my room. Normally I have to go down to the front desk and it's always kind of like a little bit of a rigmarole to get my packages. So I really appreciated that experience I had this time. A pickup window, interesting. M2: No, I hate the idea, but I don't know if that's what it is. So keep you updated guys as we hear more. But that's the news. Nothing crazy, but some little nuggets. And now let's get into the main segment, which we have a lot to talk about. M1: So we are going to be telling you basically everything about our trip and all of kind of what we experienced, any tips we have, and lots of Mouselet's lore in here. So at the start, this is Tuesday of last week. On Tuesday, Mama Mouselet, Mouselet C, and the Miclet flew down together, and then Papa Mouselet met us. He was taking the train from elsewhere in Florida. That was the Miclet's first plane ride. went pretty well, except that boarding was very chaotic. So. we went up to the gate or we went up to like walk through and we had the stroller not broken down yet. And they told us, ⁓ you need to go get a tag for the stroller. So Mousely C was like, okay, shoot, like I'll go grab the tag and I'll just meet you down on the jetway so that we can help him fold it up. Mama Mousely guys needed to charge onto the plane. She did not want to wait. She was like desperate to charge onto the plane. She's like, wouldn't it be better if I get a seat, get our bags on? I said, no, it doesn't matter if our bags get on. We have to go to baggage claim anyways. M2: She was like, you know, I to be better if I try, I don't, she was trying to explain it to me. M1: No, so my mouse charged on me and the Micklet are waiting on the jetway trying to one-handed help Mouse to see fold up the stroller. That was very chaotic. Then I had my personal item. Mouse let's see had his and we had the Micklet's personal item. I didn't really properly organize the bag so that there would only be two personal items needed like on the plane ride. I kind of needed things from all three. So that was very chaotic. And then the Micklet decided that he was starving right as we boarded and was screaming to eat. So anyways, That part wasn't great, but after that, it all was smooth sailing. And so we get there, Papa Mouselet picks us up in the rental car and I say, all right guys, off to All Star Music. And Mama Papa Mouselet go, what? All Star Music. ⁓ my God, Mouse Lacy told me today. He goes, ⁓ I never told you this. Your dad said to me later, he said, M2: We told them that that was being done like countless times M1: your she never told me about this. She never told me about this. And I said, I literally have it in a text. Guys, here's what's happened. Mama and Papa Mouselet were originally going to be the only ones there Tuesday night. They decided to stay off site at a Marriott resort. They wanted to. They insisted. They love Marriott's. We offered to extend the All-Star Music Reservation that M2 had. No, they did not want to. Fine. When I decided to go Tuesday, I said. M2: They insisted. They said easy. We love to do it. They insisted M1: I possibly try and change hotels like twice like that. It's going to be too much. I will be extending my All-Star Music reservation." They literally pop a mouse, let respond, like, absolutely understood or something like that. And I offered again, I said, do you guys want us to just have you stay at All-Star Music too? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. So when we get there, imagine my surprise when neither of them know that I'm staying at All-Star Music that night. They're both shocked beyond belief. Yes, yes, I said. M2: Where do they think they were staying with you guys with them? M1: No, I told you this. So we're driving down and I can tell they're both like, well, if we'd known and I was like, okay, do our dad is like has stayed at Marriott's forever. He's like, I don't know, like a titanium elite something, something, something member. He's like, I got a lot of Marriott status. I was like, why don't you call? I looked it up. Yeah. Call Taylor up. M2: Why don't you call Taylor up? M1: and cancel your room at the Marriott. I had looked it up. I could extend their room for that night just to stay at All Star Music with me. He said, no, it's too late. They won't let me cancel. I said, okay, do you want to just eat the cost of the room? It was like hundred dollar room. mean, not the... Well, he was tempted. He was like, really clearly did not want to drive back. So when we got there, we went to get food and I had to go to the lobby anyways and talk to the check-in desk, ask for a microwave. M2: He would never do that. He would never do that. M1: So when I did that, said, can you let me know how much this room would cost? You know, if I I extended my parents' day, we ended up deciding to do it. I had to go to the lobby like 30,000 different times to get this all sorted, to bring my mom and pop a mouse with their IDs. They left their wallets in the car. It was like a whole big kerfuffle. I literally spent like an hour in the lobby. Then finally, OK, the man gets it all settled, right? He gives me the map and they're in a completely different building, like not really that close to us. M2: Classic. M1: I said to myself, I can't possibly deal with this right now. And I walked back and I said, mom, the mouse like come over here. And I said, I want you to go to the lobby and say, ⁓ my gosh, I feel so bad. I made my daughter change the room. And now I think I messed up our plans and we're not gonna be close to each other anymore. I mean, which is true. So can you see if you can put us in the same building? Luckily she ended up speaking to a supervisor who was super nice. They weren't able to get us adjoining what? M2: You ⁓ no, it's giving care. It's giving Karen. M1: No, she, Mama Mels was very nice and the woman was very nice. The woman said, why on earth would they put you in a completely different building like that? And Mama Mels said, I'm not sure. ⁓ They were not able to get us to joining rooms, but we were at least very close, close by. So I was like, perfect. Now my only other mistake, there were a lot of sort of kerfuffles happening. Okay. M2: Well, actually, let me let me let me interject. I flew down Wednesday morning. I think I talked like last week about all the flight times, all that stuff. So I said, OK, if they're checking in, I have a lot of content I want to film. Please keep the room clean. Imagine my surprise the next day when I walk in and there is stuff everywhere, I will give my mouse credit. It was not really her stuff. Papa Mouse. OK, pair of shoes on my dresser with the inserts taken out, a bunch of towels hung out, the suitcases open to pillow like just Stuff. I mean they were just using the room but like his entire his like entire little monitor and keyboard setup and I was like Oh, okay. So I was unable to get the content that I wanted. I had to wait till we were checking out M1: So for my room, when I checked in, know how when you can do requests, right? You can request the ground floor or a higher floor. One of the options was a king bed and I said, would love a king bed, and also see, and I sleep in a king bed. I would love to get a king bed. That sounds great. I request a king bed. Here's the thing with a king bed room. In my mind, I was going to be in a regular room that just had a king bed in it instead of the two beds. No, I was in a much smaller room that only fit a king bed. M2: Idiot. M1: So the room was so tiny. M2: Just to be clear, the other rooms have one bed that's, are they two Murphy's that are down? I think it's one. They have one bed that's down and then they have a Murphy bed that there's a table with two chairs that's, you know, kind of folds down when you wanna put the bed down. And so if you don't need to use that second bed, you have a big amount of floor space and a table, which would have been great for them. But instead they just had the size for a king bed. There was no extra space. M1: It's one. No extra space. And so we had a huge ⁓ checked bag, two carry-on suitcases, three personal items, three owner's lockers, and a stroller in that room. It couldn't have been tighter. My room looks like an absolute bomb went off. Also, was a kind I don't know if this was because of the King Room or just because of like our room. We were in, we had sort of like a weird diagonal happening in the room. And so we had a curtain to the bathroom instead of a door. M2: To be clear, there's a door going to the toilet. It's just a curtain going to the sink area. Do I like curtains? No, especially when I'm sharing with other people, but you're with your husband and your baby. I think all things considered, it's un-aesthetic for sure. All right, we must move on. We must move on. M1: Do you like curtains? It's... yes, yes. Anyways, we must move on. We must move on. But that was Tuesday, guys. M2: Okay, Wednesday I arrive. If you want to hear about me wheeling and dealing, all right, go subscribe to the Patreon and you can hear that in our pit or Peach crew. But I'm arriving a little bit later, so I'm also gonna add a little bit of stuff going on in the morning, first off. M1: We go to meet Papa Muslet. Papa Muslet is standing at the door. A woman has just handed him a case of waters as she's leaving. And he's standing there holding this giant case of waters. And he says, I'm having a work emergency. I'm not coming to Blizzard Beach. And I was like, ⁓ really? M2: And last year when we went to Typhoon Lagoon on our check-in day, he had a work emergency at Typhoon Lagoon and sat on a picnic table the whole time in the worst mood and then his laptop died and he had like a meltdown, so. M1: at Typhoon Lagoon. So it was honestly better that at least the work emergency was happening like pre him actually being at Blizzard Beach. So I was like, okay, so mama mouselet who's on her way to pick up M2 from the airport drops me mouse to see in the Micklet off at Blizzard Beach. The Micklet has his first time in the pool and Papa Mouselet luckily does that arrive and then everybody arrives. And so the first thing that we did actually. M2: Everybody arrives me and mama mouse that drive up into the parking lot. There's not a lot of cars in there. I'm like spot here She was done looks right here. No, no, no, she's like weaving around She ends up going to the very very front front row and I said there's not gonna be any spots in this row There were not then she's like, I think I have to exit this hole the whole thing to get back I said just drive the wrong way down the thing She refused we parked as far away as possible next to this giant van and all of the cars around us the front of them were covered in like 50, 100 black dead flies. M1: disgusting. Okay, well everybody showed up. Okay, we'd already taken the mitgote in the pool. He didn't seem to really think about one way or another about it and so we left him with Mama Mouselet and we went to go show Mouselet Sea, who'd never been to Blizzard Beach, Summit Plummet, which if you've never been there, that's like the iconic giant waterslide in Blizzard Beach. M2: Based on the fact that we can't even do humonga cowabunga guys. We I feel like most people listening probably don't know the water parks like we do. Those are like the straight body slides at Taipan Lagoon that are maybe like a third or quarter of the size and they like destroy me in every way. Like, ⁓ my God, I can't even imagine doing some at plummet. We watched a bunch of people finally watch this man go down. It was so funny. He like stands up. We like cheered for him because we were all standing there like literally watching them. What do we say? Like, did it did it hurt? Was it scary? M1: They're so bad. No, I could never, I could never. I said, it scary? M2: And he said, ⁓ yeah, it was scary. was so funny. ⁓ we did a bunch of like our favorite things after that. We went to the family raft ride mouse. Let's see. Considered doing some implement, but he bailed slush and gusher. M1: think if someone else was doing it, he would have done it. But it was just him. Yeah. And then Slush and Gusher, which is again, does everybody know these water slide names? I don't know. Slush and Gusher is like the smaller version of summer plummet. It's got like a hump in it. And so it's not as crazy. We have actually done that one once. It was horrible. ⁓ you didn't do it that time that I did it. ⁓ my God. It was awful. Okay. It was awful. Mouse to see, I think would have done it, but it was closed. M2: I think also three might've done it. Yes. I've never done it. I've never done it. You're with your ex-boyfriend, the bat, to be clear. M1: So we went and did a bunch of stuff and then we said, let's grab some lunch. Let's grab some lunch. M2: I would have done that one. grab some lunch. So we're looking and I said, ⁓ this looks amazing. A port of like a vegetarian portobello wrap. We wait in line for a long time. So all the M1: This place has five things, okay? A regular hot dog, a chili hot dog, this wrap, a turkey sandwich, and a salad. M2: and a salad. Said I'll have the wrap please. Sorry, ⁓ we're all sold out of the wraps. Okay, there's nothing vegetarian on that. So I bail. right, you get then. M1: She walks across the path, she's gonna go get a pizza. We'll get to the pizza in a minute, okay? I say, okay, well, we'll have two hot dogs and then we'll have a salad. ⁓ I'm sorry, we're out of the salad. Okay, you're now out of two of the five things on the menu. I call Mouse, let's see, I'm like, do you want a hot dog? Do you want this turkey sandwich? Do you want a pizza? And he's like, just get me the turkey sandwich. I go, I'll take the turkey sandwich. They said, We're out of the turkey sandwich. I said, okay, so you only have hot dogs. I wish you had just told me that when I walked up here. M2: Meanwhile meanwhile, I'm at the pizza stand. I said of a cheese pizza. Sorry. We don't have any pizzas left I said, ⁓ what do you have? I Said, what do you have? They said we have some chips I said, then I so I walk all the way to the front of the park to go get other stuff I order the wrap which I was told was there they don't have the wrap there I said I'll the hummus platter that I see on the Disney app. The Disney app is wrong. There is no hummus platter. Okay, then I ended up carrying like ⁓ M1: You guys, this is a pizza stand that only sells pizzas. M2: Three different bowls like drinks like all this stuff stacked on this giant tray I like barely made it my wrists were caving in so I was just like what's going on here that all you have is hot dogs in this park Or you have to walk to the main thing like they did tell me I could wait for the wrap They're like we should be getting some soon and I was like M1: You But then the other place told you there would be no more reps the rest of the day. So I think... M2: They said there are no more wraps the rest of day and I'm glad I didn't wait. ⁓ after we ate lunch, me and Mama Mouselet thought it would be fun to see how fast we could sprint through the lazy. M1: Also, you and Mama Mouselet thought this, you definitely thought this and roped Mama Mouselet in. M2: No, no, no, this was like mom was all on board to see how fast we could run through the lazy river like M1: which if you've never been to Blizzard Beach, it's a long lazy river, okay? Like how many, it's, no, it's long. Like it takes you a while to go around that thing. M2: How long do we think the lazy river is? I need to look this up. How long is the... It's definitely like a half mile. I feel like it's three. It's 3000 feet long. Okay. Yeah. We sprinted through it for half the time. We were in double tubes. We tried to swim. It was too shallow. It was like only two foot six in there. It's way too shallow. They need more water. Um, and then we were like kind of running. The ground is like grippy, but like prickly. And I was like, I was like, mom, my feet are like raw. Like I get having to stop and like kick and she would push. She's like, my feet feel fine. We were, my heart rate reached 154. M1: ⁓ I think so. That's over half a mile. M2: We were sprinting through the thing. At one point, it wasn't that busy. like Blizzard Beach was very empty in general. At one point, I like, there was a tube kind of my way and I like gently pushed it and some woman like turned at me and took the tube and like threw it back at me. And I was like, ⁓ I will say we were making a bit of a spectacle. We did it in like 15 minutes. And for the rest of the trip, mama mouse had these giant blisters on her feet. Even though the whole time I said, my feet are killing me. She said, mine are fine. And I said, I can't believe that. M1: Her blood blisters. M2: It was insane. So yeah, that was that was an interesting choice M1: That was some other like Blizzard's Beach lore for all you Blizzard Beach stans. This is a, there's a ride or a slide set called Runoff Rapids, okay? They have two open tubes on the outside and then like an enclosed circle tube in the middle. And when we were little, you could take double tubes in the open tube. So like two people could ride together or single tubes. No. M2: This is the Blizzard Beach episode. Just kidding. It's almost over. It's almost over. Or, or single tubes because you remember my story. Do you remember my story? I was young, we used to go over a year. I had to have been pretty young. I was like under 13 for sure in a single tube on the open slide. I'm riding it and a couple on a double tube comes flying down the slide. I'm sure they waited for the green light, like my weight compared to their weight, I was a small child, they were two bigger adults. They bump into me, okay? What am I to do? It's kind of a long slide. The entire rest of the time I'm sitting in front of them and we're writing down this thing as a good trio the three of us They've now taken away the doubles the double tubes Yes M1: Yeah Guys, clearly because of situations like that, someone must have looked at this right and said, this is not safe because there's no more double tubes and on the parts we're to fling up on the sides, they added these like literal speed bumps. They're horrible. They're horrible. M2: They're awful. I recorded myself going down it We have highlights up from that day on Instagram if you want to see and I in the midst of it I hit them and I'm like what the heck they've really kind of downgrade. I should have gone down the enclosed one. I think M1: Mouse will see love for the enclosed one. He had an amazing time. So we made a mistake. Another mistake that we made is when we were little, one of our favorite things is Blizzard Beach is the toboggan slide. So you lay in this like foam toboggan, it has handles in the front that scoop up and you go, there's two different slides. I guess when we were little, like it doesn't really, I don't know, matter. But as an adult, if you don't lift up the front, you just get waterboarded, literally waterboarded the entire time. M2: Yeah. Yep. I was trying to record it and so I thought that that's what it was, but I'm trying to record it and I'm literally like swallowing a wad. I was like, holy crap. I like couldn't breathe. It was insane. Do you remember when we went to Aquatica and we went down this huge slide that like drops you like there's like a door that opens and it like slides you down. And I. And the set. And I went down, yes, and like right off the bat, I M1: Just like. vaguely. Do we do it? You clunked your ⁓ my god you clunked your head. M2: go down the first shoot, I smash my head on the top of the slide, and then the rest of the time I'm in so much pain and I was being waterboarded. That was... M1: I was waterboarded the one time I did the slush and gushers, so I understand. Okay, the last thing is we wanted to take the Micla into like the little ski patrol area that we used to love as kids and there are some floating icebergs in the middle. M2: No, you don't understand. All right. We're not allowed to go onto the ones with the nets, but there are two on the other side. And I said, look, we can go over there. And I was very excited about it. So I jump on and I'm like sitting on the iceberg. And I was trying to teach my mom how to jump on this big floating iceberg. And she kept almost flipping the iceberg. And this lifeguard is like, well, we didn't really catch. She was talking to us for a bit, but she's yelling. She's like, don't flip the iceberg. Don't flip the iceberg. We're like, OK, whatever. Then pop. M1: It's very tippy, it's tethered by one very loose rope in the middle. M2: It wasn't tippy from it just like you had to know how to get up on it and mama muscle did not I try to have Papa muscle do it He also tips the iceberg gets yelled at I then have mouse let's see does it he jumps up stands on the iceberg the lifeguard yells at us weren't like the only adults in this pool being yelled at repeatedly Meanwhile to the left of us. There's a bunch of people with like hazardous waste buckets looking at some spill in the pool It's like M1: It was okay. It was so weird on one of the icebergs. There clearly was something spilled and they literally put a hazardous waste thing out, but they weren't closing the pool. But it's like if there's hazardous waste. M2: Wait, tell the story about whoever that was that mister? Was that your sophomore teacher? M1: ⁓ my god guys, this is actually insane that my teacher told us this. M2: I actually don't know if I can hear the story right now. My stomach is turning. Wait, I actually don't know M1: My sophomore year biology teacher in high school told me this story, okay? He's at a water park. And there's like a thing in the center of the pool and he's like sitting up on this thing. And down at the bottom of the pool he sees a pair of sunglasses. And so he's like, ⁓ I'll go get them. So he dives down. Guys, he grabs the sunglasses like this. They explode in his hand and disintegrate because it's a poop, okay guys? He's grabbed a giant poop and it explodes. M2: ⁓ my God, I seriously feel sick. you M1: in his hand. What would you do if that happened to you at Blizzard Beach? Oh my god. I would throw up. M2: think I'm gonna drown. Panic I would panic so much that I would drown. ⁓ my god So disgusting all right that was our Blizzard Beach day We went back freshened up and decided to do Sebastian's bistro for dinner. We were undecided about dinner I had wanted to do the food court, but because they all did the food court the night before We're like well. would they like me thought Sebastian's might be fun. I'm one had done it We knew there'd be availability because it's not that popular. It's at Caribbean Beach. Also. It's Sebastian's we start Caribbean Beach M1: What is so bad about this? Okay. M2: It's not character dining, but it's like loosely themed to Sebastian and it's Caribbean loosely. There's a picture of him in there. It's Caribbean food, and I feel like that should have been our sign that like probably Papa Masa wouldn't like that. He is a very like. Meat and potatoes palette, but he liked some things, but like it's just like he doesn't love that stuff. Mama also didn't love it that much either, to be honest. But we got there. ⁓ my God, it took what? 3540 minutes for us to get seated. M1: Loose, loosely themed. Yeah. M2: Apparently, a lot of people are saying that's super common. M1: Sebastian's, which I did not know. It was interesting. We thought it might be because that was our first time dining with the stroller. So like with the stroller, you have to be at like only certain tables can accommodate the stroller. So it probably was a mix. But while we were waiting, there's like water right there. And guys Papa Mouselet loves turtles. Okay, he loves loves loves turtles. And so we M2: He loves turtles. said, I said, there's always turtles in here. When I said at the Riviera, it's on the same water. I said, there are a bunch of turtles. Every time I'm Caribbean beach, I see a bunch of turtles and I'm like looking and I'm like, I really hope you see a turtle. I see a giant turtle. I call Papa Mouse head over. He runs over. He's like running along the dock to like see it. It was so funny. M1: There also was a video that someone replied to saying this. There's a video that we took of Puppenmouse looking at the turtles and behind him are like four men all looking over looking for the turtle. Like these people loved turtles. So we got to see the turtle. ⁓ I really like Sebastian's beast. I've been before, but what did you think as a vegetarian? M2: which was fun. I thought the vegetarian stuff was great. I thought the tofu was the best tofu and a lot of people said this best tofu I've ever had in my entire life. M1: ⁓ my god, what? You did not say that while we were there. M2: No, I did. I said, this is exquisite. I should have gotten more. I consider getting more. ⁓ was unbelievably good. I liked a lot of the vegetarian stuff. There's one thing, this like dark brown meat stick that I didn't, faux meat stick that I didn't really like. Mouse of Sea tried it also, but I pretty much loved everything else. I thought the bread pudding, so the vegetarian bread pudding, I think was made a little bit like fresh to order or whatever, because it was super hot. I guess yours wasn't hot. Papa Mouse seemed really bothered by that. ⁓ M1: You should have gotten more. You I was unbothered by it, but yes, he was bothered by it. The bread, oh my God, the bread with the butter, I ate so many of those. That's not true, and I got additional butter, so there's plenty of butter to be had. M2: You loved the roles. I thought I barely got to have any butter because someone else used it all but The jam was really good. I like the salad a lot right when they served us the salad I picked it up and chopped its hogs on the ground and then they attack the service was Like they were trying their hardest, but it was they were struggling a bit They so they never came they weren't really coming around and so we had to pass it to pass the top right when he's there We said ⁓ it never got some sweet to just pass songs back and forth. So I really liked it. I would M1: Massatou flings the tongs on the ground. So that was how we sort of ended the night. Yeah, I would go back. M2: I would recommend it for people who like Caribbean food or have a like a pal who like like different types of cuisines. I would say, yeah, try it. It's good. M1: Me too. I mean, I'm not a super adventurous eater. Like for me, Sanaa is like a little bit too adventurous. This is not that adventurous. Like it's literally. M2: I mean, you just don't like Indian food. That's why you don't like Sanaa. You don't like ⁓ those spices. You don't like Ethiopian food. M1: Yeah, I don't love Indian food, but I don't like certain types of like, yeah, spices like. Yeah, anyways, Caribbean beach or Sebastian's Bistro to me is like the meats are all very standard meats like there's it's not that crazy of flavorings, but whatever. So the next day, it's now Thursday morning. We are checking out of All Star Music. So sort of let's wrap our thoughts on All Star Music. What were your thoughts? We talked about this a little on our Sitting On The Ground talking segment, but for everybody. M2: I really like you don't like the values. I really like the values the biggest thing from the one reason I wouldn't I don't want to say the value all the time is because it doesn't have a gym and that really bothers me not having a gym ⁓ but all in all I loved my room. I thought it was an amazing like I would just pretend to make it wasn't there because that adds obviously a layer but like before me you mouse to see mouse today hundred percent that room would have been like the perfect option. It was just about three hundred dollars a night that granted that was on a Wednesday. Tuesday Wednesday, so I'm sure the weekends it gets more expensive, but it sleeps six It has two full bathrooms like I thought it was amazing for a value. I thought it was an awesome option also, it had two queen beds for the ⁓ Murphy beds and art of animation has two double beds and that is a big difference so I Loved it M1: It is. I did, I thought your room was a really, really, really good value. I was shocked that it had the two full bathrooms like that because again, we touched on this more in the Patreon segment if you're curious, but even a lot of one bedroom DVC villas don't have a true two bathrooms like that did. So that was really, really nice. My room, it was way too small for having a baby. I had a king bed, that, I talked, talked about that. It was way too small for having the baby. M2: It was amazing. That's on you. M1: but I am back in my I absolutely hate split stays era. Like if I was just staying, especially in the room that you were in for the whole time, if I could unpack and settle in, it's totally fine. Split stays, having to pack up all my stuff and move after two nights was an actual nightmare. I absolutely hate it. I'm back on my hating of split stays. M2: It's funny because like I'm about to go to Europe and I'm doing a couple days in Paris, a couple days in Disneyland Paris, a couple days in London. I have to move hotels. It's just like, don't fully unpack, bring packing cubes, like be, figure it out. ⁓ M1: My last thing is the fact that we couldn't have adjoining rooms was unfortunate. We actually didn't have adjoining rooms for the whole, any part of the trip and it just would have been nice. It was fine. It was fine. It would have been nice. M2: Me and my mom and papa mouse had kind of had like a good I honestly I don't even remember sleeping in the all-star bed But I did think I did lose my eye mask in that bed. I think I have not yet M1: You You were clearly just sort of like in a trance in there. M2: I was like it probably from how I was tired and from how messy the room was. And so I couldn't get I couldn't get the content that I needed. But I love the All-Stars. I love walking around. I love going on walks through there. I love the ⁓ like the food court. I honestly I'm a big fan. So I like them and I highly, highly recommend. But after that, we drove to the Grand Floridian. I was desperate to keep our family on a schedule. Said we have to get to Magic. We have all these things we want to do. Didn't go super well for me. I'll be honest. M1: You Okay, but me and Melsy C did manage to rope drop Magic Kingdom, like for the most part. M2: I mean, we were a little bit late. We were like eight, nine, 10 minutes late. M1: We were not gonna join. We were like two minutes late. Also, too, what I just had a little off camera to be about what time we left. It was approximately on time. M2: And this all just goes to say that we did not manage to do our rope trap plan at all at Magic Kingdom because we were not able to be on time. Anyway, we took the monorail to Magic Kingdom, ⁓ which was, I think, a good choice because it's just like one stop from the Grand Floridian to Magic. We popped in. We had to I told everyone we said we have to go straight to Peter Pan's flight. We have to go straight to Peter Pan's flight because that one can get so busy. Mama Mouse was like, wait, let's take some pictures. Let's do this. We were like, we have to get there. OK, well. Well, one, was everyone slowly moved ahead with the baby and the stroller trying to possibly navigate the stroller through the trolley tracks. I took a picture. I saw a mom with a kid and a ultrasound in her hand standing on Main Street. And I was a man taking a picture. And I said, that must be the dad. And I said, would you like me to take the picture? And they were so grateful. So that was fun. I catch up with everyone. We get all the way to Peter Pan's flight. There's a million people in line because we didn't make rope drop. And ⁓ it's a 35 minute wait. Well, that would. M1: Which actually isn't that bad, yes. M2: Normally we would just wait for it, except, I mean, it is bad for a rope drop, but normally we would just wait for that. But unfortunately, we needed to do Big Thunder because we didn't get a lightning lane for that. And it's 35 minutes for Peter Pan would set us up to not do Big Thunder. So we did Small World instead, which was a fine option, but. M1: That was the Mikkelts first ride. It was fine. He fell asleep on it. He was very relaxed. But when we got off, we had to race over to Big Thunder because as a reminder, Frontierland does not open during early entry. So you can rope drop that with everybody else when the park actually opens, which for us was 9 a.m. We run over there guys. We make it. We're like with the crowds, right? M2: It's like a double rope drop. Delayed opening delayed opening as two women two cast members. I'm sorry ladies, but they're standing I know you don't remember this but me and everyone in line like you made it about this after everyone was talking about it These women are standing next to each other both shouting different like literally standing next to each other like kind of ignoring each other shouting different things and Everyone in line was like what is happening the man in front of me was like it was so funny I don't know what they were doing. They think they were stressed about the delayed opening. We waited for like 20 minutes M1: So for a bit, it seemed like it was gonna open. Like they had someone come out with that sign that says like, this is where the end of the line is. They were having, trying to get us in single file. But then, Mousleto and Papa Mousleto actually went over to use the bathroom quickly. And, really? M2: We had to be escorted by a cast member, because Tiana's was down also. They literally escorted us. We walked out of the bathroom, and then the man was waiting for us and brought us back. was... Yep. M1: I did not know that. Well, back in the Big Thunder line, the guy with the end of line sign went back inside and those two women came up and said, we just want you to know, all to know that this is not opening anytime soon. You can stand here if you want, but like, you should go to something else. This is not opening anytime soon. It's going to be very, very, very, very delayed. So we decided, okay, fine. Like I guess we'll bail. Thank God we did. What time did it actually open? 3 p.m.? So late. M2: Like 2.30 or 3. Yeah. Which is crazy because that ride just opened maybe five days before. And very disappointing because we never got to ride it because they didn't give any more lightning links up for the day because they couldn't use any of the lightning links they already had. So that was a big bummer. M1: So we were gonna do Tiana's, but that was also still closed. So we got Sleepy Hollow for breakfast. And oh my God, the woman who was working at Sleepy Hollow was so sweet. But the woman in front of me who was ordering from her wanted like the number two, which was like basically like a waffle with Nutella and a bunch of different berries and bananas and whipped cream. But she wanted it without I think whipped cream and bananas or something. Anyways, the way that she kept ordering it, M2: which is waffles if you don't know. M1: with the woman, she would be like, okay, I want the number two without bananas and whipped cream. And so the woman back to her was like, okay, so you want the number two with Nutella, blueberries and strawberries. And the woman would be like, well, I want the number, and literally it met me and mama Mouselet, they went back and forth on this probably 10 times. They could not understand and then we actually were gonna order the exact same thing that that woman just ordered. And we were like panicked that we were gonna have the same problem, but it all worked out fine. The cast member got it and it was completely fine. There was also random. M2: I gotta say, I didn't think the waffle was as good as this. didn't hit like it usually does. M1: What? You were disappointed about how much, little Nutella you had. Yeah. You said, ⁓ thought it wasn't enough. M2: And dad goes, classic. Whoa, that's a lot of Nutella. I said, is it? Said it's not enough at all. need way, way, way, way, way more. No, it wasn't quite as good as usual. So. M1: Well, there was filming going on next door also randomly next and by next door. mean, M2: Not related to my waffle being bad. But yes, there was an ad I filmed it because I said when I see this on social media, I'll post and say, I saw this being filmed after that. We started the day in the usual way. We headed over to Tomorrowland. We did Space Mountain, which was a lot of fun. We did the people mover with the baby. I held the baby on it. It was so cute. He loved it. We fit five people. It was tight. Mouse. The sea barely had a seat. Mouse. Yep. And then we did the last floor. M1: You did love it. clown car, six people including the Micklet. M2: We got Betty Boyle. There's like different, so Buddy Boyle is the mean kind of monster, but sometimes Beznos. M1: I feel like, I feel like nobody, nobody knows what this means. This is so sports. M2: To say best sometimes best those but also at the laugh floor. That's what one goes. ⁓ yeah She just said this to me when we were prepping for the podcast. She said what we do next. All right mics I said mics like mics Sometimes you get buddy boil mostly sometimes you get M1: He's the one that reads the minds, okay? His name is Buddy Boyle. That's usually who you get. M2: Everyone knows that. Beznos Boyle. I love Beznos. Huge fan. M1: When you Bezos Boyle, he's like a Hispanic version of Buddy Boyle. M2: He's so funny. And then Betty Boyle is a female version of Buddy Boyle. She is hit or miss. This one was, she was okay. She was, the woman who did the like mind reading was really, really funny. But then there was a big issue when we were trying to get our jokes read. First off, someone in the line smelled super bad. So that was tough. But it sort of made my experience more frantic. I'm looking and it says the word is, what did it even say the word? M1: She was okay. She was okay. That did not need to be said. Slime, think. Fang, no fang. M2: No, no bile. said it would Fang. Okay, I I text I text Mike was asking whatever no response from Mike. I'm like the word is obviously not fang 42319 to submit a joke. Yes, so I'm like, okay clearly it's not the words I'm like, alright, let me try a couple other words bile horn ooze Okay, ooze. got a reply from Mike. I get a reply from Celia. I send more jokes I'm sending one forever the family they stop replying. So I'm like did I just submit those for the leather show? M1: Okay, she's texting him to send in a joke, to be clear. M2: I go back to Fang, no response from Mike or from Celia. I try all of the... M1: Papa Mouselet is also trying to send jokes. Mouselet C is trying to send jokes like. M2: Ended up sending like six six or seven jokes. Let me see if I can find my because they were some there were some good ones All right ready Yeah, I texted. I texted maybe 15. ⁓ slug slug was the first one. Okay, no response then I did fang then I did ooze They responded at ooze then I did slug again. No response. I did ooze for two. They responded then I did a bunch with ooze no response then I did bile then I did fang over and over I submitted like M1: I was like... M2: These are all the jokes that I submitted, okay? And no response, it was ridiculous, so. M1: So we unfortunately had none of our jokes read. He actually only read two jokes and this both were bad. And this is some. M2: Both were bad and he did not do. M1: I hate Marty Wazowski in that show, okay? M2: We have talked about the most niche things weren't like the runoff the runoff rapids waterslide of Blizzard Beach M1: I mean, you just, you just were like, I texted Ooze, I texted Slime, I texted Fang, I texted Horn. Okay, Marty Wazowski, you don't know, is Mike Wazowski's nephew, supposedly. He's orange. M2: What was that? Why is this like a conspiracy? He is his nephew. UGH! M1: can't breathe. Okay, Marty was asking the orange guy, okay, who does the jokes. I'm like crying. I look so bad. And he fills half the can at the laugh floor and he is the worst one. M2: haha M1: He's the worst one. M2: He is the worst one. He was especially bad this time. Like he couldn't understand the kid. He struggled. He didn't read any of our jokes. I submitted so many. All in all, a little disappointing. ⁓ We went to the hub to film some content, take some cute pictures. The make-up had a meltdown. It was too hot. He's screaming bloody murder. There was some thing that happened with a PhotoPass cast member, but that I went, I left. think I went to Main Street to do some shopping. M1: Okay. I don't think you were tuned in for this. I don't think you were tuned in for this. No, you were still filming with Mama Mouselet and Papa Mouselet and me and Mouselet C, the Mclut is like having a meltdown. I think ultimately he was too hot. We brought him to the baby care center. He was fine. But in this particular moment, we'd walked over to the side of the hub where there was a little patch of shade and a PhotoPass cast member had been standing there to wait in case anybody wanted photos. The Mclut is screaming at the top of his lungs, right? Screaming. Mouselet C is holding him. M2: ⁓ M1: and we're trying to comfort him. And the PhotoPass guest member clearly just trying to lighten the situation. It's like, woof, it's hot out here, right? And I'm like, oh yeah, as I'm trying to help the miclet. Ultimately, me and the PhotoPass guest member had a very nice three minute conversation about the weather while Mouselet C stood behind me trying to comfort the screaming miclet. I unfortunately couldn't really help because I was busy talking to the PhotoPass guest member. So I think he was just trying to lighten the mood. M2: I think he just wanted someone to chat with and I love that for him. So I did some shopping on Main Street. I went to Crystal Arts. I went to all the stores. I spent a lot of time in the confectionary, which was super, super fun. Went to the Emporium. Yeah, I see her. M1: You Mouselet too said that just to torment me. She said that just to torment me because she knows how much I love the confectionery. How dare you? No, no, no, no, no, no. M2: It was especially special this trip. I just have to say that it was just like something was a little different about it this time and it made it so fun Then we headed over I needed lunch. No one else wanted to eat. It was like one o'clock. I was ravenous I went to Columbia Harbor house. I got an artichoke in the hearts of palm roll pretty good and hush puppies. I love hush puppies Me and mouse let a no I didn't mean mouse let a love hush puppies. So so so good M1: I hate hush puppies. She got those also just to torment me. M2: So I ate that, which was delicious, loved it. And then, yeah, then. M1: A lot at this point in time was still down. So Tiana's was still down. Big Thunder was down. Haunted Mansion was down for a little bit around this time. And wait times were high. It was kind of weird because the park didn't... M2: The park felt very empty though. M1: But wait times, probably because all those rides were down, were really high. And all of our lightning lanes, because of our stupid lightning lane mistake, if you listened last week, all of our lightning lanes were like later in the day. So we couldn't be using lightning lanes at this point in time. It was not good. M2: You're just kind of stuck. It was like we could have done like Philhar Magic or like the Tiki Room or like Country Bears, but it was just kind of like I just did Hall of Presidents recently. Like girls can only do Hall of Presidents every so often. And so we decided to do the carousel and Mouselet C goes, we're going to ride the carousel, the three of us. And we said because Papa Mouselet was with the baby with Mama Mouselet too. And I said, yes. And I got so weirdly motion sick on the carousel. Something about spinning. M1: Yup. M2: I don't know. I was like, ⁓ my lanta. Then we go do the teacups. ⁓ M1: and Mouse Lutu was whipping us around, having the time of her life. I'm like about to throw up, okay? M2: I got a little emotional from that too, but it was fun. It was funny. It silly. So that was fun. Teacups. And then we're looking, we're like, all right, we're going to game plan. We're going to go do Little Mermaid and then we're going to go do Dumbo. And then we need the poo. The Lightning Lane, maybe I don't remember what the third one was. We walk over to Little Mermaid. was like a 20 minute wait. The jump to 40 minutes. ⁓ So I had to bail on that. Then we were going to go to Dumbo, but we were going to do that later because then Haunted Mansion reopened and that was a short wait. So then we went to do Haunted Mansion. M1: Yeah, maybe. Yeah, maybe. Not worth it for that ride. We get all the way over there guys, okay? And if you were not following along on social media, Papa Mouselet had come up with this really fun challenge, a Find Papa Mouselet challenge, okay? He'd recently gone viral on social media for a video that M2 had made of him working in the parks. So he did this challenge where people could come find him and if they did, they got a poker chip and then were doing a giveaway. Drawing one of the poker chip numbers. So we get all the way over to Haunted Mansion from Little Mermaid, which if you can think about that walk in your mind, like it was kind of far in like the blazing sun. And right when we get over there, Papa Mouselet drops one of the poker chips out of his pocket. And when he picks it up, he counts the number in his pocket and he realizes that he'd lost another one. It was not in that moment. It was not there. There was nothing around. It was clearly not there. He literally turns on his heel, goes back, starts to retrace the steps. So then we all have to stand there. wait for so long. He came back unfortunately he did not find it. Gone. M2: Then I'm standing there looking at mama mouselet I see a bug there are like those little love bugs if you know what those are there like two bugs that are attached to each other that are like made there everywhere and I said ⁓ my god she had it in like the little like kind of cartilage part of her ear I was like to love bugs so I went to look it's a tick a tick has crawled onto mama mouselet's ear inside of that little cartilage piece and has and has it's crawling so it's not fully embedded I think I might have been embedded but they insist that it wasn't ⁓ M1: They were everywhere. Never seen a tick in Florida. Me too. M2: It's like kind of crawling in her ear and I'm well, I I touched the stupid thing. I'm like, ⁓ my god It's a freaking tick. I know a lot about ticks because I pull them off of our dog a lot. I hate ticks they're really really gross and ⁓ Papa mouse that had to like like get it again It was I guess it wasn't fully bit because like you'd never be able to take it off But he got all of it off tried to try to crush it. You can't crush a tick. So just just crawled away Oopsie M1: Oops. Then we did go back and do Dumbo. I really wanted to... ⁓ well, yes. M2: ⁓ No, then we rode the haunted mansion and the whole time me and mouse that one said for a million dollars Would you sleep here for a million dollars? Would you sleep? I said for a million dollars. Would you sleep at the bottom of Madame leota's table? There's like a little like net that protects people from falling and one time through the night Someone's gonna reach up from underneath and grab you 10 million M1: I said no, I couldn't do it. 10 million. I hate being scared, I hate being scared. Anyways, after that we did go do Dumbo and we did it once and I'd really wanted to bring the Mickle on it but he was asleep. But when we got off he had woken up, we took some pictures and I said, we said let's bring him on it. Horrible mistake. The Mickle does look like vampire in the sun, he hates the sun. It was so sunny and hot he screamed the entire time. M2: That's why I didn't write it again. I just said, you know what? I'm done. So ⁓ we headed back to the grand after that. ⁓ So then we went straight up to the room. obviously had to film a bunch of content, but I want to quickly talk about the room because we stayed in a one bedroom villa, which is like the DVC one bedroom and especially at the Grand Floridian. But ⁓ my God, this room is so nice. So we rented points with David's Vacation Club Rentals. I know we talk about them a lot, but it is seriously the best hack because you can save so much money. We saved on average, I think $600 a night on this room, which is a ton. I mean, I'm not going to say the room was cheap. The room is still expensive. You're saying at the Grand Floridian. But $600 a night is crazy. And the thing that I said in the story, I think in the last day, if anyone, people watched that, whatever, is that there are some resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, those are like the same price as a moderate, the same price as Coronado, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans. ⁓ They get kind of progressively more expensive. Like there's other options that are more expensive, but like even Wilderness Lodge. You can get insane deals. The grand is always gonna be expensive, six, mean $600 a night. I was telling that to mom and pop a mouth and they were just like, how? And I was like, no, literally it's crazy. M1: And also for our family, and we'll talk a little more about like our full room situation there, but for our family, we don't fit into a standard hotel room anymore. And so like we need multiple rooms. need. M2: We like never did. That's why we did an offsite timeshare for all those years, because there five of us. M1: Yeah, we need multiple rooms. And so to be able to stay in a villa to have a kitchen, mama and papa Melsa are obsessed with having a kitchen to have the in unit laundry. It's like, it's amazing. It like truly, truly, truly cannot be beat. And that's why for us, it's worth it. Even though, yes, you're paying a premium, you're staying at the Grand, the location of the Grand is unreal. The rooms are gorgeous. And you get so many like perks. M2: The in-unit laundry was so nice. It was insane. Yeah, it's we've always stayed in a larger tape room. We've never stayed. I mean, mom and pop a mouse snore so, so, so much that I could never share a room with them ever. The but just besides that, like everything about this room, though, maybe the one thing is it didn't have the full two bathrooms, but like it was fine. Even the extra sink was really nice. So it was it was amazing. We did not get adjoining rooms. We could have, but we didn't. Do you want to get? M1: Well, like, I don't even know if we could have. So for those that don't know, I booked my part of the stay much later. So by that point, there were no two bedrooms available through anything DVC. There weren't any DVC studios available, nothing. But online on Disney's website, there was like a cash version of the DVC Resort Studio room available. So I was like, OK, great, I'll book that and then I'll request to join your rooms. I called Disney. I put in the request. I talked to someone for a while. M2: well. M1: Everything was totally fine. Turns out that apparently that person on the phone did not give me good information. I didn't realize that their room was at the villas at the Grand Floridian, like a true DVC part of the resort, when mine was just at the Grand Floridian, which are like technically two different things. So we couldn't even be in the same building. There was also a whole thing with the fact that I had booked like a water view. I don't know. M2: guess. Even though she said she would take a downgrade because she called and then I also ended up talking to someone on the phone and they were like, it's literally not possible. And I was like anything they're like, no. And they were fully sold out. So we were in totally separate buildings. Like it was it was unfortunate. Yeah. M1: Yeah, we talked to people at the resort. We were not close. Yeah, we were not close. So that was a bummer. And I would definitely like do anything I could to avoid that in the future, at least being in the same building would have been better if we were so far apart. So that was like. M2: I mean, you tried, you called and they said that they would. Like, I guess I would say there's not any guarantees for it. I mean, it ended up being fine. We weren't in the room that much, but it would have been nice. So. M1: It was fine. Yes. Another little hiccup we had is Bell Services took a really long time to get our stuff to us when we got there. M2: ⁓ my God, wait, I need to tell my story about I call Bell Services because I wanted to go to the gym and I'm sitting there waiting and I was like, well, I don't really care how long it takes. I have all my stuff I need. I just don't want to sit here and wait. So was like, well, if it's going to be a while, I'm to go to the gym. It was really close to my building. So I pick up the phone. First of all, it's like a wireless phone. It's like a landline with no cord on it. So like thrown off. Something doesn't seem to be working. I can't figure it out. So I use the speakerphone, call them. Hello, and I said hello, and he goes hello. Can you hear me? I said yes, I can hear you goes. ⁓ hi I said hi I had asked it's been like about you know 45 minutes for my bags, and I'm just wondering how long it's gonna Take no rush, but I'm gonna head to the gym, and he goes hello, and I said hello He goes ⁓ hello. I can hear you and I said okay repeat. He was hello I said hello. He goes hello hung up. I said forget this ⁓ Then I go to the other room I call and he goes did you just call and I said that was me because they're gonna be right up And I said okay This is wait, this is something that was really I mean I would not unfortunate per se But maybe unfortunate for me is that I was ill-prepared me and mom on Papa Mouse were all ill-prepared To tip anyone this entire trip all we had just wait all we had were $20 bills I had which just to be clear is a lot for some of these things like this guy brought like three bags up he was great, but like and I waited a really long time so like Give him 20. I like, not gonna give him nothing. He's working hard. He's clearly very busy M1: ⁓ my God, yes, 20s. M2: Same thing with my mirrors driver at the end, gave him a 20. I didn't have anything else. I was like, ⁓ my God. I would consider that being a big tipper. Some people might, I don't know, some people might not, but in my mind, I was just, I felt like a big tipper. So Bell Services was a little bit slow, but it all worked out. So. M1: Me and Mouse let's see how the same experience. ⁓ Okay, well the last thing at the grand that was a little bit slow, which I did not experience, but I believe you did. M2: Well, so we mobile ordered from Gasparilla. M1: which is the quick service at the Grand Floridian. M2: And usually I've now had an experience that if I say I'm here too early, then I miss my window. I don't get the food and they're they like cancel it. And it's a whole it's very stressful because you're not supposed to do that. So being the rule follower, I am I'm like three minutes away and I said I'm here. Well, Gasparilla makes everything to order supposedly, although I saw all the sandwiches pre-made, but whatever it ended up taking like 20 something 25 minutes. M1: She's literally texting me being like, I'm here right now, I'll get your food if it comes up. It's gonna take forever. It's gonna take forever. M2: Like. Papa mouse and mama mouse are both were like this is Jeepers creepers like this is crazy, and I was like yeah I mean they clearly just like make They make all the but that was after we had the Sebastian saying like everything had kind of been still sleepy hollow Everything had kind of been a little bit slow. I thought the food was good I mean the rice abysmal, but everything else was really good the mac and cheese was amazing give the mac and cheese ⁓ M1: ⁓ right. Yeah, my sandwich was good. No. You're crazy. Okay. But anyways, at this point, I know, I know, we decided that we're to go back to Magic Kingdom. The sun is setting and it is like 100 times cooler. We had changed, we were fresh. Like I felt so ready to go take on the evening. Papa Mouselet decided not to come, but the rest of us, including the Miklet went. First we rode Pirates. The Miklet would not sit in his carrier. He was screaming at the top of his lungs. So Mouselet, he just kind of had to grip onto him when we went down the drop, but he was fine. And then M2: We have to finish this Magic Kingdom day. same. M1: outside of pirates, we're walking, we're headed, over to going over to Tiana's. And I hear a little boy go, mom, the parade starts in four minutes. I Starlight starts in four minutes. I said to Melsa too, what time Starlight tonight? She's like, which is one of the main reasons that we were at the park at night. She's like, oh, I don't know. I look it up. It was in four minutes at 8 45 or it was at 11 PM. I was like, M2: Starting on Main Street though and going all the way up to, yeah, so. M1: But so we decide, okay, we have to go sit and wait for Starlight. Mama Mouse offers to go get dual whips for everybody. M2: I actually said I would kill for a dole, but she said, I'll get them. I said, great. M1: She goes, what flavors do you want? Mouseless, he just wanted a dole whip, a plain dole whip, okay? A pineapple dole whip, which is just a dole whip. She's going, no, doesn't exist, doesn't exist. M2: A pineapple door whip. No, she's right. If they didn't have they didn't have pineapple at Aloha refreshments. M1: She was so furious when she came back, said, I'll pay you five million dollars if they have a pineapple donut today. M2: She was so mad. ⁓ The starlight was really good though. Super, super cute. Like I've seen it a couple times. I've also only seen it once. The Micklet loved it, which was so, he had his headphones on. Right? Yeah. M1: but yeah, he had his headphones on, but he loved it. We were disappointed we didn't see Peter and Wendy fly. We didn't know that that like only happened in the Main Street part. Now we know for next time. M2: But all in all, it was very good. We then headed over to Tiana ⁓ Tiana's and I said, I will hold the baby, you guys ride and then we'll do our swap. It was like that. That makes sense for this specific situation, because otherwise one of you will just be like, forget it. I'll just skip it. So was like, I know I'll want to write it. But then the lightning lane took so long and I was holding. M1: It seriously took forever. It was a really slow lighting lane, unfortunately. M2: And the Miklet was, and I just wrote it like literally six weeks ago with Mouseladay. The Miklet was screaming. All these people thought he was my baby. Like, well actually, I'm sitting on a bench, finally coaxed the Miklet to sleep. I'm on a bench in the corner and I'm kind of like, sitting sort of in the middle, cause I had like my stuff. Two women come over, they're like, we're gonna sit here if you don't mind. But they sit like basically on the ground next to the bench. Like one of them, like, there's plenty of them. I slid right over, but I was like, if you don't? I mean, it was fine. But they're talking. So loudly and I'm like, ⁓ my god, I just got him to sleep I mean they're allowed to talk but I was like of all places if you're gonna sit on the ground Can you sit on the ground? Not next to me? Like if you want to sit on the bench, that's fine But if you're not gonna sit on the bench anyway, but they were like, ⁓ he's so sweet Like you look so great for a new mom and I was like, thank you like I Was like thank you. Thank you. How old is it? It's three months. Anyway Tiana took so long that I just was like, I'm not writing this. I was just like I'm all set so M1: Not a new mom, not a new mom. It took forever. And then we actually burned out of stories. So for anyone watching on Instagram stories, we couldn't post anymore. So we just kind of posted a fireworks and said ending the night. But actually what we were going to do was the real reason that we were still at the park that late was to do the new Buzz Lightyear. And ⁓ my God, it's amazing. M2: It was amazing to be clear. We love the Buzz Lightyear ride. We've loved it always. It's one of our favorite rides. I think that might be my this might be my favorite ride right now. It was incredible. I don't want to hype it up too much, but I'm going to it was absolutely fantastic. M1: No, me too. It's amazing. It was literally so good. If you liked Buzz Lightyear before, it's Buzz Lightyear a million times better. It's perfect. It's so fun. It's so easy to tell like what you hit. When we got on, we had a lightning lane, but the line was really short when we got on. When we got off, Happily Ever After had ended, so the line had like just gotten long and we were so sad. We considered waiting for it again because we loved it that much. M2: I could have read it probably like 50 times in a row. It wasn't it wasn't it wasn't that long, but mostly we were like we have got to go to bed because the next day We were headed to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. So double double day. There's a little less talk about so don't don't worry guys But still some still some lore and we could not figure out the best way to get from the Grand Floridian to the boardwalk I'll spare you the details could be talked about like 30,000 times that are in our stories But we were like do we take the monorail to Epcot and cut across do we take a bus to Hollywood Studios and take the Skyliner? Do we take a bus to Hollywood take a boat? we ended up taking a bus to Hollywood and walking. ⁓ It was a really nice walk. Yeah, it was ended up being a really nice walk. We were kind of snaking through the boardwalk tried to shortcut shortcut to the shortcut holiday in reference didn't work really but M1: which I think was a good choice. We were meeting someone there for coffee. That's why me and Mouselet 2 were going earlier. So we did that. And as we're leaving, one of the cast members looks at Mouselet 2. We were dressed in little like strawberry ears and strawberry outfits. And someone looks at her and goes, Piglet. And thus began sort of, thus began the Piglet lore of the trip. But so after that, we popped over to Epcot. We filmed some content. It was so hot. We were absolutely sweltering, but like we got what we needed to do out of the way. M2: So I didn't even catch that. Yeah. M1: And then we met up with the family and we did Guardians. Mouseletou got the song that she wanted, that she'd been begging for. M2: I ran, I've been dying for that, that's the best song hands down, there's no question. I was so, so, so happy. Then we popped over and did Test Track single rider. Test Track is my favorite ride in Epcot in general. I'm a transportation engineer. It inspires me, like I literally get chills in that final scene. I'm like, and you loved it. M1: never written it and ⁓ my god I got off it was so good I said to Mouselessy I said Mouselessy never got to write test track version one but we loved test track version one it was so good test track version two was the worst I thought it was terrible and I never wanted to write it they've brought back the magic of test track with version three like it is so much better it's so good it's once again a do not miss for me when it was a do not miss for years or sorry a miss for years M2: is crazy. It's so good. It's so good. I miss I didn't the other version was OK. They just stopped maintaining it and this one is it's amazing. It's so, so, so good. ⁓ Next up, we decided to do some festival food. We none of us had really had like a big meals. ⁓ we actually I think we might have gotten those labels in that morning. We did. At the grant, whatever we're hungry for lunch. So we ended up deciding to split up. Mouse, let's see, took the baby to the baby care center. Me and Mama Mouse started in Mexico. M1: I hated it. I really didn't like it. Oh, we did get a save. What was that? Well. M2: Mouse one and Papa Mouse started in Canada. We were all gonna meet in America. So me and mama Mouse lit various foods. M1: like picking up various foods that people wanted along the way. We mapped out our routes. M2: Me and Mama Mouse that started in the Odyssey. Then we headed to China. By the time we got to China, I said, ⁓ we got to get a tray. So I found some dirty tray in Mexico. One singular tray, and I said, thank God we got two bubble teas in China. We had like five plates at this time from China. We went to Italy. We got two more plates in Italy. Then we finally went into America. I scoped out a table, got a pretty good seat. ⁓ I mean, my arms were breaking holding all that stuff. It was insane because we had food for all like all of us. ⁓ M1: I was desperate for a tray. would have literally. M2: Yeah, Tungaloa or whatever, Tungulu from China. We got the Baobuns. We got so much stuff from China. M1: Me and Papa Mouselet started at Communicore Hall where we got two things. Then we went over to buy figment and we got these dips for Mouselet too, which were just really hard to carry because it's like three like, you know, loose dips with a bag of chips. Then we went over to get Papa Mouselet fish and chips and I said, we have to get trays. We couldn't find trays anywhere. But the fish and chips come on like a large drink holder where there's like a slot in the center for the fish and chips and then four drink compartments. M2: So good. M1: So me and Papa Melsit each took one of those. And then we went and we went to the incanto booth for Mama ⁓ We got her a ceviche that came in a little coconut bowl. So we were able to put that in one of the drink holders. We did a pit stop at Morocco for me to get a wrap. We were able to put that in two of the drink holders. And then Melsit, he wanted everything at Japan, which turns out that he actually wanted everything at Japan other than the furshi, which is only two things. So I wish that he just named the two things. But me and Papa Melsit. M2: He's and he said that and he said that. He said he wanted everything except the frushi, so. M1: me and Papa Mesli were like, bobbling everything, but we got there. And this, actually really liked doing it this way because we were all able to eat together and kind of like try things and like have a calm sit down meal, which you don't normally get to do at a festival. M2: And it guaranteed, it's usually if you want something from China, it's like, ⁓ we're not gonna get there for a while. It guaranteed we got what we wanted. So it ended up working pretty well. M1: I had an amazing beef and what was it? Risotto from Communicore Hall. It was so good. It was so good. M2: I thought my I mean my dips were the star. I love my dips. I had a kind of a small I'd like sort of a weirdly small lunch. I like wasn't that hungry. The bubble tea was really good. M1: did. I, the bubble tea was really good. I really liked the cold ramen cup from Japan. And then I really liked the that like Tangalowa or whatever the fruit. Yeah, fruit covered in sugar from China. That was very good. M2: To Gulu. Next all right. ⁓ had to head back to the front of the park to get the locker. We said we'll do figment ⁓ I said okay, let's all meet over there a figment. I'm gonna walk to the front No reason for all of us to also want to mouse to see I mean I'm one walks very slowly in general You're wearing flip-flops your feet were killing you it was hot Mouse let's see is a slow walker I was like this doesn't make sense for us to all track to the front of the park I will go mama and papa mouse had brought the most outrageous Frickin like mary poppins leather orange like bag that I was carting through the parks. I was like almost dying of heatstroke I get a call. We're not meeting at figment. The baby fell asleep They're all just standing back where we were before I had to walk all the way back from that point. I was deceased I died. I literally died. Um, we I did it out of the back of ap cop to head to hollywood take the skyliner Which I did it was kind of a longer ride that I remember M1: Ha ha ha. Gosh, she was fuming, she was fuming. Yes, we were saying we were very glad that we didn't take that route to get to the boardwalk earlier. It took a long time to do the full journey. It was nice. It was relaxing. It was easy with the stroller because you didn't have to disassemble it, but it did take a long time. And so we got to Hollywood. We did an outfit change. felt so good. We did Toy Story Mania. MC took the miklet on. OK, we went to Tower of Terror. We actually dropped Mama Moussel and Papa Moussel and the miklet off at one man's dream. I was like, go get some air conditioning. We went to Tower of Terror. M2: I won. M1: And because mama and papa also weren't doing it, we took their magic bands so that we could give away two lightning lanes. M2: which we used to love to do when we had paper fast passes to give them away. And so we kept seeing couples, but like being too nervous to ask, but like seeing people know, seeing people know. And finally we saw this couple and I like grabbed them and I was like, are you guys doing this? Like we have lightning lanes. Okay. They never clear, had never heard of a lightning lane clearly. They had no idea what was going on. I don't even know if they understood that they bypassed like a 35 minute queue. M1: I don't either, but they did say thank you like many times. M2: Yeah, they said thank you, I think they just like didn't fully grasp like what we were doing. So we wrote it. One of my favorite things to do on the Tower of Terror. M1: ⁓ my God, is this the? M2: I saw I saw this like stupid fact one time which isn't I think it is true actually but is that when you get into the elevator shaft if it's really hot you're gonna drop first and I love Every single time I get in there. I said I say don't I said it's a mouse let a 2 I say don't worry guys I'll tell you if we're going up or down first and I get in there and I said and I said oh We're absolutely going down first We're up Well, I was wrong in that time, but it was the heat. I'm almost always right M1: Every single time. And we didn't. And we didn't. You were wrong. You were wrong. Also, do know that every time our ride in Tower of Terror ends, go, ⁓ that was a good one. That was a good one. M2: I'm almost always right. So that was fun. You and Mouselet C and Mouselet 3 and Mouselet A do that. I don't really partake in that. M1: okay. Well, then we got to see the rockin' repaint with our own eyes and Melsitu, who I feel like has been a little bit of a hater of the repaint, was obsessed. M2: I haven't been a hater. I haven't been a hater. I loved it. ⁓ I think it looks amazing. People are like, ⁓ they're painting it gray. Okay, shut it everybody. It looks amazing. I think the building, I think it looks good. I think it looks crisp. I think it looks good. I'm excited. We saw the villain show. Magic mirror on the wall. Mama Mouselet was shazaming that song. I love that show. I don't care about. M1: But you were obsessed. The building, yes. She literally was just aiming it. M2: I do not care about what's going on with what they're saying. I can barely understand any of the words they're saying. I'm just there for like the literal vibe of the show. I want Carola to win. It was so good. I don't know what they're talking about because I can't make out the words from the songs and I don't mind that. You do clearly mind that. M1: can make it out and the show is rigged so that Maleficent is always the one who wins, which is not on purpose. They don't want that. Sometimes because because they just pick someone. But even if the crowd response was lower for that person, they'll pick them. It drives me nuts. But here's the thing. We got there very late. This is our own fault. We got there very late because we just gotten off tower. So we ended up sitting in the very front row. OK, the seat was. M2: No, a lot of people are like, she didn't win when I went on it. She doesn't always win. I I loved that scene. M1: terrible because we couldn't see part of the screen. But also, it was so hard to understand what they were saying from that seat. The sound was so garbled. You didn't mind because you just like to listen to like the beats of the song. But if you wanted to understand the show, you could not understand it. However, on our stories, we mentioned that this is a trick that we do at Frozen, the Frozen sing-along. Lots of people asked what the trick was. Do you want to explain? M2: I could see the whole screen. So the trick is for the Frozen sing-along and just to be clear, this isn't guaranteed, but it typically works out that we'll show up right at the end of the loading for the show. So the show's about to start and we'll pop in and they're filling in last seats and we'll walk all the way up to the front left and we'll take the front row because they hold that for like a handicap area for like extended family basically of that. And a lot of times, most of the time those seats aren't used because there's way better seats for people who have wheelchairs and scooters in the front in the middle. And so if you're... like five minutes before the show, they'll open up that row and we always get a front row and you're right by the storytellers, which are the best part of the Frozen show. M1: Yeah, so at the Frozen show it is actually an amazing hack. At the villain show, I wouldn't really recommend it. I found it very, very, very hard to hear, but it was a fun show. Then we went over to Mickey and Minnie's. I would have liked to take the mickey on, but he was sleeping, so I sat that one out, which was actually very relaxing. How was your Mickey and Minnie's experience? Anything to note? M2: ⁓ it was good. I yeah, no, there's not much not too much to know other than the fact that I always thought that there were six vehicles and I learned that there were four and I'm like, I'm still completely shocked. Yeah, I'm so confused. And also that ride is very loud. ⁓ I just have to say, but no, was good. Mama Mousslet was riding doing the part that it's just a screen, but like you're falling down a waterfall and she was like, ⁓ my God, ⁓ my God. Like it was it was absolutely insane. She has always done that. M1: Yeah, you were, you were shocked by that. She always does that. M2: ⁓ then we popped over to prime time and we had the stroller until like I was like I need to check in deal with the stroller thing I was going to request someone mama mouse barrels ahead is going to check in and i'm like mom Check in i'm like ys. Evangelion was working. She was not and so said, okay Is whitney working because she was the one who was my witch's last time. She was so funny They were like, yes, and I said, okay, can I have whitney's section? They said perfect her section is the one that fits a stroller anyway, and I said, ⁓ great She must have moved sections since I was last there wrong. We got someone else Gladys she was good. ⁓ She was good. She was fun. But like I had been anticipating Whitney and kind of hyping it up and I Think it was the stroller Yeah M1: She was good. We did have to once again wait a long time. I think it was the stroller. Yes. ⁓ There was a fun little book of of like games for kids that I was they gave the Micklet who obviously could not use it. So I did it. I drew a piglet more piglet lore from the trip. M2: haha Yeah, it was not your best. And then we. M1: No, I thought it was really good. Also, the kid next us drew a piglet. He was like seven. His was really good, too. I would never say that. OK, we wanted to stop. We wanted to say for fantastic. But the big one was fussy, just like Malthus was fussy right now. So we went home. M2: I thought you were about to say it was bad and I was going to be like, all right, settle down there. All right. I'm I'm I'm pooped. I'm dead. He was losing it. OK, next day. This is like the end of the monster. Lots of laugh floor lore when they go like and booted this up right over there. That's what about to do. If you know, if you're a laugh floor girl, you know if you're not. M1: And for everyone else, they don't understand a word of what you just said. M2: Okay, we plan to spend a half day at Animal Kingdom the next day, but that didn't even work out. We were going to rope drop and one didn't even attempt because they didn't even try to wake up. They woke up early and said, nope, too tired. So it was just like. M1: Yeah, my alarm went off at 530 and I said, absolutely not. I said, you guys go without us, it's completely fine. They ended up waiting, which was very nice. And by the time we got there, we wanted to rope drop the safari. The wait was getting long and we said, you know what? M2: I said this, sat there and I said, we're fools. Why did we not buy lightning lanes for this park? We literally didn't, because we're like, let's save a buck. Okay, oh my God. So it would have been like 80 bucks. It's just like sometimes I don't always recommend it, but like with the baby not getting to rope drop all this stuff, was like, God, it just made way more sense to just buy the lightning lane. So was able to get some, the lightning lane times weren't great, but I was able to modify Everest to be early. So we did Everest. The safari to be early, so we did that with the Mikulet also. He slept the entire time, didn't notice anything. ⁓ Not really. And then I got his festival of the Lion King, which is actually something I actually like a lightning lane for, I will admit. And I got his Cali River Rapids. So let's see. M1: He was awake a little bit. Yeah, because you get a good seat. Yes. We ended up starting our day with Satooli breakfast. We got our favorite ube lattes. We sort of ended up crisscrossing the park in like a mildly unfortunate way, but like that's okay. ⁓ We did the Gorilla Falls trails, which is one of our favorites guys. Melsitu had told me all trip one of her priorities, one of the most important things to her was what? Was what? M2: The most probably I wanted to hold the baby up to the gorilla wall and see what they did. And there was not a single there wasn't a single gorilla there. I said, you're joking me. Absolutely ridiculous. M1: with that window wall of gorillas and there wasn't even one. But around the corner, I asked one of the keepers, so if you don't know, there was a gorilla who had been there very long time, one of the older males, his name was Gino, and he died recently. And I asked, do the other gorillas know? And like, why? It's so interesting. I said, do the other gorillas know and feel anything? And she said, yes, they do. In fact, all the other gorillas took Gino's body back to the back to like their bedroom area and laid him out so that all the family could see him and do their own little mourning process, which that was like fascinating. M2: ⁓ don't tell this story. My God, it's devastating. Yeah, okay, tough. ⁓ Then we did Festival of the Lion King, which was good. Papa Mouse loves it. Mama Mouse tried to sleep through it. Again, we did use the lightning lane for that. Yes. Then we did Cali River Rapids. M1: Okay. Did she? Wait, I need to tell a story because your bench story made me think of this. Before we went over to... You told a story about sitting on a bench outside of Tiana's and those women... Okay, I went wanted to feed the mikle. We went to a shady area. There was a woman sitting alone in the center of a bench. And I said, and her bag was to her left. And I said, oh, do you mind if I sit at this bench with you? You know, maybe she was saving it for someone. She said, sure. Points to her right where there was no bag. M2: What's a bench? What's a bench story? ⁓ M1: I sit down, I'm so close to her because she's sitting in the smack center of the bench, she doesn't move. She doesn't scooch to the left, she doesn't take her bag down, she just stays in center of the bench and I'm like squashed to the right. And then dad had to sit down there too and she just stayed in the center. It was a really interesting choice. M2: I support I support her for that. I support her for that. ⁓ We went on Cali, another long lightning lane. It was kind of a trip of things taking a little of a long time. All things considered, we didn't get that wet because I filmed a video of like, try not to react. I mean, last time we were literally 100 percent saturated. This time we just got like it felt good. We were sprayed. It wasn't that bad. ⁓ After I went on the the the bridge. M1: No, we didn't. Compared to you last time? Speaking of spraying. M2: And there's those buttons that you get these elephants to spray. And I was at one of them and this British man was at the other one. And it was so funny. Every time someone would come, we would wait and they would think they were safe. And then we would hit the buttons and soak these people in the seats. And and he said, said, our next victims are coming. And we said their first, like literally like probably 10 minutes spraying them. was, mean, you went on the ride to get soaked. It was so, so, so, so, so funny. Peach, peach in my chair. M1: Maslutti was like gleeful over this guys, gleeful. She loved it. Then I said, okay, like, should we head out? No, mama and papa also wanted to see the bird show so badly. We love the bird show. So like, I get it. ⁓ The birds were all very, very, very naughty. M2: first one of the Ravens wouldn't even perform there was like a crow in the sky he was thrown off so he refused to do it then there was another giant bird and he did would not do it either then there was another like kind of intelligent bird that was supposed to take the money and he kept getting distracted and wouldn't do it there was like another bird that came out and that had to just go back as he would do it the parrot refused to sing it was just like it was so it was so funny so M1: And like all the birds, you know, they can't force them. So they were just kind of like, well. So anyways, after that, our final thing, if you saw on social media, we did a little video where like Mouseless, he's holding the miclet up and we're bowing down to the miclet like he's Simba, right? But we needed someone to hold the phone to film that for us. So we asked. M2: And I said, I'll just find someone, like someone who looks kind of young, they, like, and this person had camera around their neck. And I always try to find someone with a camera around their neck. And it was a couple. And I said, they actually ended up not really speaking English super well, which made it, but they did a great job. And I said, I'm so sorry. Do you mind filming this? It's like 15 seconds, a very quick clip. And we were bowing in it. M1: The man held the phone and by the end the woman was bowing along with us, like keeping us on beat. She's like bow, bow, bow. It was so funny. It was so funny. M2: but she was like bow, bow, bow. It was so funny. It was hilarious. We tried to get Navi River Journey, but I spent literally like an hour plus trying to modify that lightning lane. It was not able to. So we bailed. It would've been fun for the McClip, but we'll do it another time. We went back, took a dip in the pool. M1: Would you like to explain how you're a snake? M2: We had chef, we didn't have lunch. I need lunch. I was hungry. I knew we had chef Mickey and I said, I just need a little bite. And I said, is anyone else hungry? No, no, no, no, no one's also hungry. said, no one's hungry. Okay. I just. M1: We were going back to the Grand Floridian. Mouseletoe says, is anyone hungry? M2: Yet again, and I said anyone hungry anyone. Nope. Nope. Nope. I'm like, anyone Sure, everyone said no no and I said really how is no one else hungry and they're like we're about to go to chef Mickey and I said, okay And then mama mouse it was like I would maybe share something so I said, okay So I ordered me a mama mouse. I said I told her I said mom I'm gonna order this like sweet potato hummus thing. She said okay, so I order it I walk over right from my villa at the Grand Floridian, which is very very close to the Polynesian Island Tower M1: You actually said, does anyone want food? M2: I pick it up from, I hang it out in hammock, pick it up from my Lulu, bring it back to the pool. Me and Mama Mouser eat it. She said it was the best thing she had the entire trip. M1: I said, if I had known that you were getting food at Wylulu, not Gasparilla Grill, I would have gotten food, but Mouseletoo is a snake and kept that to herself. M2: You didn't, you didn't ask. I'm not a snake, you didn't ask. Anyway, then we headed to the final kind of the big thing, Chef Mickey. We had special Chef Mickey outfits. We all dressed up as the different characters. I was goofy, Papa Mouse was Pluto, Mama Mouse was Donald, M1 was Minnie, MC was Mickey and the baby, the Miklet was a little chef. He had a miniature chef hat. It was so fun. It was so fun. M1: It was so fun. One of the cast members told us she'd never seen anybody dressed like in theme for the restaurant like that. And that she thought our outfits were so good. It was like so special and just so fun doing something like that always feels really fun. I will say I was waiting in line for the buffet and a woman, like a random woman comes up to me and she goes, Ratatouille. Am I right? Ratatouille. And I said, yes, I did. Yes, exactly. Because you were wearing chef hats. M2: Yes, yes, you are. One thing I'll say about it was that we kind of sat down immediately. The characters are coming. We're like, we haven't even gotten food. They're like all of them. Every single character was coming. I think it would just accept like maybe Mickey. M1: And honestly, Mickey came very quickly too. It was very interesting. I feel like normally at that restaurant, like throughout your meal, you meet everyone, right? No. Literally in the area that we were in, which was the area like right to the left when you walk in, every single character was there for such a long time. It was so chaotic. We all were trying to also like, you know, we each were dressed as them. So we wanted a picture. like a little video of each person with the character they were dressed as but then I also wanted one of the Miklet with the character, I wanted an autograph book signed so we were like trying to do a lot with each character. All the characters were right there, it was fu- M2: Donald walked in the opposite direction from all the other characters and like ran into a baby table and almost fell like it M1: Which was so weird. ⁓ my God. Yeah. Donald almost literally tripped. Minnie, when Minnie came up, they were like starting a song that was like the napkin waving song. So she comes up and she's standing there like, hey, and we're like, hey, can you meet me right now? Okay. Yeah, it was sort of confusing. M2: Can you meet right now?" And she like nods her big giant head and we're like, okay, but then she was definitely in a rush. So it was... And then Donald came over later. So we'd already met everyone, things calmed down, we enjoyed the meal. I actually kind of liked that we loaded everyone in the front. M1: Me too, it was nice, because then we just had to call me all the rest of the time. M2: We're going to do it. We'll do a whole thing about it. Maybe talking some deeper about the restaurants, but the food they read the menu in March really, really good. But then Donald comes over and has like a couple of minutes of just like literal special like one on one time with the Mickleth and Mama Mouse's arms. The Mickleth smiling at him, which like could have completely gone the other way like he loved him, so that was super, super cute. M1: He's just like holding the Miklets hands. It was so cute. The new buffet was amazing. Also, I know some people are Chef Mickey haters, we've always been Chef Mickey lovers, but like, especially with the new buffet, I loved it. M2: The one thing I'll say is, you know what I was looking forward to the most, which was cheese cubes, and they took them away. So I'm devastated about that. But it's not the same. Just knowing we'll never have them again is devastating. All right. The final thing I taught my mom and my papa Moussala to dance in our room. I said, this isn't a very easy dance. And I totally stand by the fact that was easiest dance we've ever done. It was so easy. You struggled with it so much. It was so easy for me to learn. I taught them this dance and I taught M1: Well you know what, can go to your local grocery store and buy some cheese cubes. Easy stance. M2: I'm one of them see and I said we're doing this dance. It was hot me and mama mouse like both M1: Muffin Mouset was like really overheating. M2: I was in a long pants, long shirt, the chef hat, but we pulled it off. I mean, we did a pretty good job. M1: We did do a pretty good job. We were like saying the motions as we did it, but we managed to do it. And then we get in the monorail and I suddenly feel incredibly ill. I suddenly feel unbelievably ill. I had to get right into bed when I got home. I ended up being very ill. If you want to know that, it was in our close friend story. I was very, very ill and I'm still ill. M2: No one that and that's not an incentive for anybody, just to be clear. M1: I'm still ill. ⁓ I got sick. I don't know. I got some like respiratory virus of some kind. So the next morning, Maslow2 is typing in the spreadsheet. I just need everybody to know the spreadsheet that's not a spreadsheet. Wrap it up. I have to go to bed seriously. Okay. But you know what? People want to hear about our trip. And so Sunday morning. M2: Yeah, but you know what? I have to go to bed, so... M1: Sunday morning, we had a 9 a.m. brunch reservation at the Grand Floridian Cafe. M2: which I had made for me and my mom and papa mouse a while ago. And then I was able to modify it to four people just in the app, it didn't care. And so was like, oh, I'm sure I'll be able to add one more, because we had five of us plus the baby. No, it wasn't that. M1: Usually when you check in, can like increase it by one. It did not let us. So I had to go check in in person. We did not have the stroller this time, but it still did take a bit to be seated. However, the food was very good. They have an amazing fruit bowl there. I had kind of a mediocre Mickey waffle, I will say. M2: My ex Benedict wasn't that amazing either. M1: Okay, but we've gone there multiple years for Mother's Day brunch and it is a very nice like vibe. Yes. M2: It's very special and usually I think it was like a it was very busy for that one day. All right. And then I mean, I left after that. I was ready to head out. I took Mears back to the airport. I love Mears. ⁓ Honestly, I hate Ubering. If I take an Uber back to that airport, my mom, my mom like, we'll drive. And I was like, no, you know what? Mears is so convenient. It makes so much sense. I'm on an air conditioned bus. I'm relaxed. It was so worth it and so nice. It took like about 52 minutes door to door, which is I mean, yes, it's longer. M1: 52 minutes. M2: think about 52 minutes and 25 seconds. I loved it. I had an amazing experience with $16. I despise Ubering, like hate Ubering. So, and one also took it. M1: also took it. I'll talk about that in a second. But first, I because I woke up, I was really not feeling well. I called and I requested, can I please have a late checkout? And they said, let me check. And they said, sorry, we're not doing late checkouts. And I said, okay. And they said, well, but we'll ask housekeeping and see if housekeeping can give you a late checkout. And I said, okay, I'm not sure what that means, but whatever. And then housekeeping called me back and they gave me a late checkout until noon. And so it was nice. I got an extra hour. I really needed it to pack up. We ended up walking over to the poly with mama mouselet and papa mouselet a little bit. And then I took Mirs as well. It was very easy with the baby. We had an easy flight back and mama and papa mouselet went to Disney Springs. M2: All right, so we're gonna get into our pit and peach. My pit, I have to wake up at five tomorrow and I'm pooped. That's my pit. M1: Do not see that in the spreadsheet I highlighted pit in peach of the trip. M2: ⁓ my pit of the trip, I think was just it was it was pretty hot. There were like a couple of times that I was like, like walking to the front of Epcot. That was probably my pit. M1: was unseasonably hot and like this is normally when we go with our family but I'm like I'm not sure we should keep going at this time because it was very hot. Yeah it was too hot. Also it always conflicts with Mother's Day. Your peach? M2: for May. No, I definitely don't wanna keep going at this time. My peach, what's like a standout peach? Spraying those people was so fun. That was definitely a peach. M1: You are crazy if that is your peach. M2: ⁓ I I thought the dance was really fun, but knowing that papa mouse said it was one of his pits makes me like it less So that makes me kind of sad M1: ⁓ guys, spoiler alert, I made that up as my puppet mouse lets pit. I needed another pit and he wouldn't give me one. M2: You're seriously sick. I've been like mourning that all day. I think the chef Mickey outfits are my was my peach M1: Yeah, that was really fun. Okay, my pit, I mean the heat also, but one of my pits is that we couldn't ride Big Thunder Mountain. I really wanted to see it and it was just like the way I was gonna say that as my peach, Buzz was so fun. Just when we got off that feeling of I was like, ⁓ it was so fun. And then watching the Miklet watch star, watching the Miklet watch star light was one of my peaches. I absolutely loved that. M2: Yeah, ⁓ buzz is a peach for me, M1: We're skipping the special segment today because Mouseletoo has to wake up very early, but we're going to go over it next week. It was supposed to be tips about traveling with a baby, so if you're curious about that, stay tuned. M2: All right, let's wrap it up with our facts of the day. I'll start. I just learned this from our friend Greg and it was a hot debate. So think it's cool. M1: We're always shouting out Greg with the fun facts on this. I just wanna say that. M2: I yeah, go Greg. Hollywood Studios, there's a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny little hidden Mickey that's three little paint dots. And it's kind of a question everyone said, is it real? Is it you should go watch the video? got like it went crazy. People went crazy in the comments. M1: Oh, he talked about that on his Patreon today. He had to turn the comments off because he was being sassy in response. M2: ⁓ people, he was being sassy in the responses, but honestly it was deserved. And that's like one of the smallest, there's another small one at the Polynesian, but my favorite small one is, ⁓ my God, it was a Ruffigy's Planet watch in that mural. I wonder if they took it away with Bluey. ⁓ Jesus, yes. All right, what's yours? M1: I feel like they probably did. If they took away all of those, that's gonna be sad. Okay, my fun fact is that on Mickey and Minnie's runway railway, supposedly there is a crab named Christasia in each room who's very hard to find. You can only see her from certain cars. We've never managed to, but she's like a hidden thing that you can look for if you want to like have like a special thing to search for on the ride. One day we need to actually try to do that. I also learned that from Greg. M2: Yeah, one day we should do that would be fun, but from Craig Anyway, we have a really good episode next week We'll be talking a ton of stuff about the Miklit other stuff that we learned on the trip It's like tips not Miklit related necessarily But like some of the things we did to try to save money some of the things that did not work like our failure with the lightning lanes a bunch of other stuff So stay tuned next week. We'll be diving into more of that stuff If you like this episode give us a five-star rating on Apple and Spotify. It really helps people find us YouTube, subscribe to our channel.
