M2: Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of Sister Sisters. M1: Welcome back. I'm so excited for our episode today. I feel like it's going to be a fun one, a little different than episodes we've done before. M2: I'm excited. It's like a new thing that we're trying and I think it's gonna be really good. And we have a lot to cover, but I wanted to just like catch everyone up on one thing, which is that for the first time in forever, ever, we are going to D23, which is a Disney fan exposition, kind of like a Comic-Con, but for like Disney fans, and it's in Anaheim every two years. And we're going for once. M1: always wanted to go. And if you if you don't typically follow along, you may have not realized, but every two years, a huge amount of Disney news comes out around August. And that is because it is all announced at D23. So there are panels like throughout the day. The panels are typically smaller, more niche things like there might be panels with cast members from a movie like talking about how they made that movie or like animators or whatever. But then at the end of each day, it's three days. There's one like huge expo, not expo, one huge panel, I guess. One of them is the entertainment panel. And so that's when they announce like all the new movies coming out, all the sequels and stuff. I think one of them is the Disney Legends ceremony. But then one of them is the parks panel, parks and experiences. And that's where we get all the information about like, we should get information on all the new stuff they're building. They might announce like even more new things. It's a very big deal. M2: updates like Piston Peak, like Villains Land, like that's when they announce like ideas that they have. It's a huge deal. Everyone goes. We've never gone. ⁓ I've always said that I can provide better coverage from home. And I stand by that. I think I can because I'm at my house being able to make videos where people are sitting in a big conference hall thing. But this year, it really made sense to do it because I feel like Year with the baby like it's just like a good time in two years from now who knows like what we'll be doing and stuff So we're going for the first time and you can't just go you got to get tickets. And so I was like, ⁓ okay, like yeah. Yeah, we'll get tickets. M1: Also, wait, well, let's, so we were like, should we go, should we not? Should we go, should we not? The night before, some of our friends texted us and they were like, hey, we're thinking of going. Like, do you guys wanna go? They're listening right now. Hey, hey gals. So they're like, do you guys wanna go? And we were like, you know what? Maybe we should. Like, I don't know, honestly, if we would have gone had they not texted us, but. M2: ⁓ yeah. Ha! No, literally, I don't think we would have. They talked us into it. M1: But we were like, okay, yeah, like, let's go. And we said, this is a really popular event. We know that. So worst comes to worst, we'll get the tickets and like, we could always sell them later if we feel like we can't go. But yeah, like they wanna go, it'll be fun. So we tell them in the morning, the tickets go on sale at 1 p.m. Eastern time. So we're like. M2: And to get the tickets, you have to be a D23 gold member. I had a free membership, so I had to pay $67 for a D23, it's 50 plus $17 of like whatever else that is, to become a gold member, to even have a chance to get tickets. So was already like, oh, like, oh my gosh. And then I was able to enter the sale, which was gonna happen at 1 p.m. M1: Thank you. So we tell our friends that we think we're gonna go. They ended up not going, but they pushed us, they gave us the push to go, which I am very happy about. And so we were looking at tickets and there's all sorts of tickets because there's an expo hall, which is where you go in and they have tons of different booths and activations and all these things to see. There's expo hall, then there's the little panels I talked about and the big panels that happen in the Honda Center. It's a three day event. You don't have to go through every day. We wanted... the pass that would get us access to all three days, including the Honda Center. What was the cheapest price for that? Do you remember? M2: So yeah, the cheapest price for that on they had like a little graphic of the prices. It said three hundred dollars. That being said, when I actually like went into the thing, it was a little bit higher, but three hundred dollars for if you've been to like, well, if you went to the theater like the back, the nosebleeds, OK, the back row, the four hundred seats. And then it gets progressively a little more. The three hundreds are like five hundred dollars. The two hundreds are like a thousand dollars. The one hundreds are like two thousand dollars. The closer you are to the stage, the higher price it is. It makes sense. So I was like, well, we don't need a great view. We're just in a giant, like, we're gonna get the 400, 300 bucks per person, right? Like, that's not too bad. So. M1: we're like, yeah, okay, we'll get those. Like, it should be fine. ⁓ We checked and it did say that you could only be logged in with one device on your Gold account or else you'd be like kicked out of line. I wasn't gonna necessarily be home, Mouth Slit 2 was, so she was gonna get in line. And we were like, perfect, we'll get the $300 tickets and we'll be good to go. Little do we know. M2: and we only have one gold account, literally, little do we know. We have one gold account. We're like, I'm not paying another $67 for a second gold account, right? And so I log on, right, I actually had the page open, it said, have this page open and it'll automatically refresh you'll join the queue. Okay, I joined the queue. Oh, I'm spot 30,000 in the queue. And we looked up the Honda Center and could hold 18,000 people. So I was like, okay. M1: $67. We knew that not everybody would want the Honda Center, but would like 12,000 people who got in before us not want the Honda Center. Also, Mousletoo was doing Close Friends story for our peach crew at the time, and she literally posted this story being like, oh my gosh, like I'm so far back in line, but like I am not spending more than $500 per ticket. OK, she like makes this declaration, but you know, yeah. M2: I was like, I'm not. Yeah, I was like, I'm not ridiculous. So I finally get in. I waited like an hour and 10 to hour 20 minutes and I'm looking and there's literally nothing left in the 400s or the 300s or the 200s. The only thing left minimum price per person is 1800 with like floor seats. And I was like, OK, no, no. But we had 10 minutes once you like click tickets to like purchase them, whatever. And I kind of like, like, well, let me just see if like something pops up because. I was in a similar bloodbath buying tickets with Papa Mouselet for a Hugh Jackman, Hugh Grant, Hugh Jackman. Yeah. And I was in a similar bloodbath. So like, I know how this thing kind of goes. Okay. So I'm sitting there and like I'm face, I'm on FaceTime with Mouselet one and Mouselet C and I'm sitting there and like, I see like single seats popping up and I'm like trying to click them and they're like gone and I'm like screaming and I'm like. M1: Yeah, Hugh Jackman's residency at Radio City. She's screaming, she's screaming like, no, no, no. Don't talk to me as she's trying to click on these seats, okay? M2: Of course, to be clear, only thing popping up is the 200s. So I'm like clicking them and like I've M1: 200 section of seats, which are like a thousand dollars. M2: $1,000 and so I'm clicking like the single seats and I'm like, okay no and I'm like, okay Do I try to get a single seat finally? I secured us one single seat and I was like, well, I guess we're just gonna be sitting not near each other But I'm like, well, maybe I can get us a single seat in the same section So least we're in the same section so I'm like sitting there and I'm like clicking finally two seats pop up because People were probably trying to get larger groups and like not able to so their tickets expired to pop up and I got those I had to delete the other one for my thing. I mean ⁓ $1,000 each and I'm like, let me see if I M1: But at this point, guys, we're so like, so desperate to just get a seat, you know, like all logic of, we're only going to spend $500 was completely gone. We were like, the fact that we even, yeah. M2: Well, we were like, can always transfer these to someone else if we need to. But the 400s, not a single ticket popped up. And I looked, I was looking at threads and stuff, and people said that the 400 sold out within five minutes. Because it makes sense. Who the heck wants to pay that much money for a higher seat? So it's like, the 400s are sold out instantly because of course everyone wants those seats. That's the only affordable price. M1: When we were number 30,000 in line, we were like looking on threads and stuff to see being like, this a good number or a bad number? And we had multiple friends, people that were acquainted with who were like 75,000 in line. M2: Yeah, like, they weren't gonna get tickets. I bet some of those floor seats are still available. I mean, some of the closest seats were like 2,700 a person. I'm just like... M1: And I know people who were later in line could get like a single day pass, because those aren't as popular. Like you could just go Friday or just go Saturday or whatever it is. But we were not prepared for the level of like bloodbath that it was at all. M2: Honestly for the best ⁓ and also turns out you can't have a multiple devices open. So we had friends who had like five devices open. So I'm like, well, okay. So anyway, we are going to lesson learned. We're going to D23 very, very excited. We're going to hear a bunch of news and a bunch of cool stuff. And that'll be in August, but now let's get into some news of the week. M1: Yeah. Lesson learned. M2: Okay, I'm gonna kick it off. Olaf, first off, I think we have to acknowledge. Do you guys see the video of Olaf at Disneyland Paris where suddenly he just like malfunctioned, which I actually thought was very Olaf energy and he just like fell on his back and like fainted. M1: If this is the new little walking Olaf animatronic, honestly, they could have played it off as just like Olaf. Like he just sort of is like, he no, they didn't. They didn't at all. M2: They didn't though. like It was funny though, it was so so so funny anyway a couple things about Olaf They've basically said that Olaf will be coming to Disney World and Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line at some point I think Just like I think that it will be a different type of thing when it comes to Disney World I don't know how they'll even do that. Maybe they'll put him in the frozen meet-and-greet or so I don't know how they'll do it But he's certainly not gonna be walking around Norway. They could never do that M1: No, no, he's not gonna be. He'll have to be in a little area and come out and do a little show. Yeah. But he will be coming, no idea when. There's a lot of like small pieces of news this week. So the next one is, if you were a fan of Jelly Rolls, this was the dueling pianos bar on the boardwalk. It unfortunately closed. So that was operated by a third party, not by Disney. I don't know, they had some dispute. don't even, yeah. I don't even, it's. M2: Yeah. Like a little stage or something. Yeah. sucks that it closed. was so fun. M1: It was so fun. ⁓ They are opening in a new location about 10 minutes away from Walt Disney World property. So bummer that it won't be on Disney property anymore. I do assume that Disney is probably just going to reopen a dueling pianos bar, like under a different name with different management and people in that location. That would be my guess. I don't actually know. M2: Probably like the board the vibe of the boardwalk like dueling piano board really works there the whole thing is interesting the way that they like Wanted to boot out a bunch of places from the boardwalk, but then like cakebake shop comes in like I don't totally understand what they're dizzy's doing with the boardwalk, but M1: And Jelly Rolls was the most popular nighttime entertainment on the boardwalk, like by far. So I don't know, I assume that they will probably put something similar in, but the actual Jelly Rolls is moving to a new location about 10 minutes from Disney World property. So if you're a fan, stay tuned. M2: Yeah. ⁓ Next up I'm gonna get into skip one because I don't know what that one is and I'm gonna get into Easter So actually this is more of a spring break thing But it like happened over Easter weekend and it was it was all the talk was that Disney transportation from Disney Springs was being restricted to guests meaning that if you park at Disney Springs you wanted to take a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge you had to be like a resort guest and that's very different because you I mean the resorts have always been open to all And so they were restricting it and people were saying like, is this the start of Disney trying to kind of crack down on resorts being open to all guests? I have a couple of things to say about this. The first is in a way, I sort of support this because I think that the monorail resorts, especially the Polynesian as someone who loves to visit the Polynesian as someone who's not staying there, it's so busy that it literally, does impact the experience when you're staying there. It's hard to get a reservation. The beach is incredibly crowded for like fireworks, like It gets really, really busy there. And I kind of, wouldn't mind if they locked it for the resort guests paying for that. I wouldn't mind if they locked it down a little bit. Like it's not a theme park. It is a hotel that people are paying to stay at. So that's my first thought. M1: don't think that they will, but during this, yeah, I don't think they'll actually do that. Like they want people to go to the restaurants, they're, you know, yeah, it's benefit for them. But in this case, if you park at Disney Springs, you get free parking and then you can go to a resort from the resort, you can go to a park. So like people can skirt free parking that way. Also though, in this case, I think, M2: I don't think they will either. There's no gain to them to really do that. People are still paying the prices, so. M1: It just was too crowded. was like this wasn't a permanent thing and they needed a way to kind of control crowds and this was sort of an easy place to like stop it for a bit. M2: And Disney Springs was the parking garages were like at capacity. So it's like, well, they don't want people doing that to try to resort hop. And honestly, just to be clear, like if you want to resort hop and you're staying on site or you're in a pass holder, just drive to the parks. I understand if you're off site, like paying to park at the park is a little bit different. But like if you're staying on site, just drive to the parks and park there because then you can just take any transportation, you know? So I feel like. I kind of get it like I sort of I sort of get it, especially from Springs, which is like open to which is open to all. again, it's gonna go away. Like for sure. They did this last year too. For like Christmas or something. So yeah. M1: Yeah, it was just a brief thing. Okay, the last little bit of news before I have a special report is VI pass holder days are coming back. This is something they did last summer and they're doing again this summer. Basically they're special, like it's a special annual pass holder thing where they have special merchandise and food and beverages and they have a special lounge, special discount, special magnet. I think we were actually there during them last year and we just didn't really do anything. But for people who live more locally, M2: is the special lounge restaurant Marrakesh. M1: Mm, might be. I'm not sure. But that's coming back. Okay, but now my special thing. I have a crime report because I wish that I had like a special sound, like a dun-dun-dun-dun. Yeah, I don't. But I have a special crime report because there's randomly been a lot of random crime. I'm gonna start with the least relevant, but this is sad. There was a high school marching band from Ohio. They saved for four years to be able to come perform at Disney World where, you know, they would be marching down Main Street, USA. M2: ⁓ Fun! Wait, did you? You should have. Do we have a sound? I wish that you did, too, but you don't. M1: They were staying. They were there for the trip. They were at Disney World. They were staying in a hotel on International Drive, so not a Disney hotel, like a random hotel. And someone broke into their locked trailer and stole all of their instruments. M2: That's literally so sick. guys, I just need to acknowledge the fact that our family has something called the nervous laugh. It's not funny, but we do laugh at inopportune times, this being one of them. That's so crazy. Also, come on, high school band instruments, how much could those possibly, how much could those possibly cost? M1: Like, are you kidding me? No, it's so sad. Be worth. Also, what, what do they roll up with? Like a pickup truck and they're loading two buzz into the pickup truck? like, how do they get them all? M2: It's just like, they probably just wanted to know what was in there. James. M1: And then they saw the instruments and they said, perfect. Okay, now also to just, need to just acknowledge that now also to just pasted something into our document that we use that I'm reading off of that says ugly Disney characters in a Google search. I can't wait to see what that is. But my next bit in my crime report is ⁓ a man stole 50 pins valued at $900 from Disney Springs. I believe that he was caught. Also, M2: our spreadsheet. Thank I have another crime report associated with pins. There was a pin trading event and a woman said that there was a thief going around who stole like a super expensive page of pins. So it's time to be a pin thief. M1: ⁓ I did see that, yeah. Yeah, I did see that. A lot of pin crime. Also, did you know that, do you remember when that guy scuba dove to paddle fish and stole? They never solved it. I can't believe that. M2: Yeah, obviously, of course. Yeah, I know. I mean, that was crazy. That's like a pretty obviously it was an inside job. M1: That was insane. Okay, my last crime report. I'm going to read off my document. A woman was arrested for dumping her iced coffee on the head of a stranger in a wheelchair while on the ferry. She was charged with battery on a person 65 years or older. M2: This is insane. There's so much context that's missing. One, why? Why? To actually dump a coffee on some, at least it was iced, I guess, not hot, but. M1: I know, I thought it was hot. No, was iced. But still. M2: No, but to actually do that, what? Like even at our most, mean, Mouselet 3 through a Wiermo at your head. M1: He did throw a wee robot at my head once. is some way I need to find the sound bit. That is some. I'm also three if you're listening right now. Never forget the time he threw a weird remote at my head. He immediately regretted it and was like crying and started panicking because it hit me right in the head. ⁓ M2: because he was so pissed. I was gonna say like even at our most like our biggest fights I would never like dump something liquid on your head that would be like unhinged M1: Can you imagine dumping it on a stranger's head? A stranger in a wheelchair? you dump someone who's over the age of 65 in a wheelchair and you dump a coffee on them? M2: That's actually related to our main topic of today, that I have something like that. okay, that's the news and the crime is increasing. M1: Sorry, are you gonna explain this ugly Disney characters search? M2: ⁓ no, it just kept making me laugh that I have it open at the top because it's going to come up later. I'm not going to explain it. I can't explain. Let's get into our main segment. M1: Okay, well let's get into our main topic. M2: Today we are doing something new. Am I the Roz? We are reading submissions from Reddit about people asking if they are the Roz of this situation. Are they the bad guy? Are they the Scrooge? Are they the Jafar, the Ursula, the Maleficent, the Captain Hook? M1: If you want to hear the lore behind that, you need to listen to the Patreon segment. OK? These are traditionally called, are they the Abuela? OK, these are, this is, again, you need to listen to the Patreon segment. these are traditionally, am I the, you know, insert bad word here. So we're making a Disney version, am I the Roz? And we each have pulled some stories and we're going to read the stories as the person wrote them. And then we're going to discuss what we think. And please chime in in the comments with what you guys think. M2: Are they the Abuela? M1: because some of these are controversial. Do you want to start? M2: I'll start this, I'm gonna do one that's related to the ice coffee situation, kind of. Am I the rise? I, 31 female, was with my family at Epcot for the day. We had rented a wheelchair as I had hurt my knee. My husband, 30 male, was pushing me. We were getting ready to enter the Guardians of the Galaxy ride, which was relatively narrow, and had metal posts and chains to guide the queue. While moving forward to enter, a woman appearing roughly early 50s, important context probably, tried to jump between us and one of the metal posts bumped her ankle. My husband and I both apologized and asked her if she was okay. After a pregnant pause, she grabbed her ankle, started screaming about her ankle and was shooting us the nastiest looks. Her entire family walked away from her at this point. I said, maybe you shouldn't try to jump in front of people. Adding insult to injury. I feel like they're She looked at me in the chair scathingly and said maybe you should pay attention at this point I got rather heated as I feel like she shouldn't be trying to jump between people and cute posts anyway Let alone in front of a moving wheelchair with momentum and I said I should pay attention. Maybe you shouldn't be such a Be arch and jump in front of people. She didn't say be arch. Okay at that point my husband just pushed me away and my family and I moved on to the queue M1: Yeah, oof. I she shouldn't be. M2: Further into the queue, we were wrapped around and reconnected with the lady. She was standing completely normally. She locked eyes with my sister and started rubbing her ankle again, whimpering. So my husband and sister rather loudly started mocking her and she said we ruined her vacation. She was never coming back to Epcot again. Am I the Roz? A loaded, a loaded story. But it reminded me of a story that we sort of know about not to interrupt this story. M1: Interesting a loaded one. No, that is a loaded story M2: that we were waiting in line for a festival of the Lion King and there was an older woman who didn't speak English, which is important to the story, who accidentally in her scooter lost control and like hit a child really hard. And the two families got in a huge fight, but the old woman who didn't speak English, like didn't really understand what was going on. mean, I'm sure she knew that she hit someone and it was very dramatic because obviously she hadn't meant to do it, but the kid was hurt. So it was like, it was unfortunate all around. It was like, okay. Yeah. M1: Although he wasn't like, he wasn't seriously hurt. Like he was gonna go into the show and watch the show. But he kind of got pinned between her wheelchair and like, yeah, it probably hurt. Like it wasn't great. It was so awkward. And like all of us ended up getting like, cause we were literally like next in line, getting like whisked away into like a, yeah. M2: really hurt. We bonded with this family. I'll never forget that family we like bonded with about it. We were like, ⁓ my God. But that's kind of reminded me of this. So like breaking it down, the woman was trying to obviously catch up with her family or something. The wheelchair like clipped her into the metal post because they were moving forward. I kind of, I think that the woman who was trying to cut, you know, get in front was kind of at fault. But I don't think the person in the wheelchair should have called her a bee. M1: She shouldn't have done that. No, she, the woman shouldn't have done that. Like, why would you jump in front of a wheelchair that's asking for something bad to happen? Like, just wait two seconds or be like, ⁓ sorry, excuse me, I'm just trying to get it with my family or whatever it is. So that was definitely wrong. But then like the other woman, unfortunately, engaging in it and calling her that and like her whatever husband and sister mocking her is like. And although then I will say the original, the jumper. M2: Mocking her. M1: having the reaction of I'm never coming to Epcot again, like, okay. I mean. M2: Also, like her screaming bloody murder reminds me of a story for another day. But you've told it before, at least I think on the Patreon segment about like there was someone who got clipped by a wheelchair or a scooter was like screaming bloody murder. But who is kind of like faking it a little bit, you thought? M1: Eheheh ⁓ my god, ⁓ my god. Yeah scream a cast member except that that was a cast member screaming bloody murder. It was crazy It was so weird. ⁓ but yeah, I don't know who's the Roz I think ultimately the jumper has to be the Roz because she was Originally at fault, but I don't think that the other woman acted her best M2: So who's the Roz? Who's the Roz? When I was on a plane flying back from Disney, sitting in the aisle seat, they said, please be careful opening up the overhead compartments because items may have shifted during the flight. And this guy leaned forward and like clicked the button and opened it. And his giant like hat box full of Disney pins fell down and landed flat on my head, like smashed my head. And it then fell on the ground. And instinctually I said, ow, Jesus. And that was all I said. And the guy like lost it at me. And I was like, I was like, okay, I was literally innocent in this situation. Your huge box of pins whacked me in the head. I said almost nothing. If I had like screamed because it actually hurt me, which I like did, I was pretty calm. And then they called me a biatch. I'd be kind of upset. So. ⁓ Jesus. M1: Yeah, that also reminded me of another story where I was on a plane trying to take my suitcase down from the overhead compartment to get off the plane. Took me, one second to grab it and pull and swing it down. At which point a man and his girlfriend behind me, the man like didn't want to wait. So he tried to have his girlfriend go around me. So as I pulled the suitcase down, I whacked her in the head really hard. And she was so mad and he was so mad, but I was like, why are you trying to go around me while I'm taking my suitcase down? M2: ⁓ god, I've never heard this story. M1: You got bonked in the head. She was furious though. M2: See, in this case, I'm the girlfriend who got bombed because a pin thing fell on my head. I was innocent. Yeah. M1: But you were just sitting there. She was trying to go around me for no reason. She was not innocent. If she'd waited, I wasn't expecting someone to be behind me when I swung my suitcase down. Anyways, who do you think is the Raz? M2: I think in this situation, to close it out, the woman who was trying to sneak by should have been like, ⁓ like, ow, like, gosh, sorry, and just kind of said sorry, but then they would, and then they probably would been like, ⁓ are you okay? And instead, I think that she is the Roz, but I think that that family took it way too far. There's, everyone's a Roz, everyone's a Roz here. All right. M1: might be multiple roses because yeah. Okay, here is my next one. This is from Reddit. It says backstory. I went to Disney for three days and was going to Galaxy's Edge for the first time. I was in line for Smuggler's Run and had been in line for around an hour. I was in front of a lady with two loud children, five to six years old, who were visibly tired. The lady had been asking people if she could go in front of them as her children were tired and needed a nap. Then she got up to me. In my family and friend group, I am known as the guy who is not going to be taking any whatever and putting my foot down when I need to. When this lady asks if she can go in front of me, I say no. I tell her I've been waiting in line for an hour and how one spot will make a big difference for her. I also mentioned if her children needed a nap, she should just leave the line. I didn't say it in a harsh way or anything. I was calm and just trying to make her stop. She seemed furious at me and made a huge scene. A few people nearby thought that I was being the Roz. And looking back, it all seems a bit unnecessary, but I was tired and people seemed annoyed at her and I was trying to do the right thing. So am I the Roz? I kind of feel bad, but I also kind of think I did the right M2: I think she's the Roz. M1: I do too. I'm sorry. It's an hour long line and you chose to go in it and you're asking if you can cut every single person in line. There's probably, you know, I don't know, 30 % of the line probably has kids that are tired in it. M2: And also, like, I stand by this as a, you know, I don't have children. I understand that some people will think like Disney is for kids, but Disney is for everyone. Everyone is paying. And I think they have just they don't want to wait in that line either. You know, like there are options if you don't want to wait in line, lightning lanes, go back at a different time, rope drop it. They probably couldn't do single rider because they're kids. But no, you don't get to just cut and someone has to put their foot down. It's like, sorry. No, I would have probably been like, no, sorry. M1: Also, sure Disney's for kids, but the line is full of kids. Like you're gonna cut tons of other families too, who probably for their own reason don't wanna be waiting in line with their kids. M2: Also, I don't know if the nap is like about it's like if you're trying to get to a flight and you're you're like, please go in security. My flight's about to leave. That's one thing. I've done it before. Me and a British man pretended to be father and daughter story for another day. But yeah, in this case, I don't think I think that that family is the Ross. Sorry. Yeah. M1: You Like this isn't an emergency, you could just leave the line. You shouldn't have gotten in the line in the first place. M2: An hour is long time for kids to wait. They're probably just tired of waiting in line. Maybe they should rest in the line. M1: Yeah, I don't know. think unfortunately she's the rest. The man does, the person who wrote this, who I believe is a man, does say that like people around him thought he was being rude. So maybe he like didn't handle it in the best way. But I think at the end of the day, you can't ask to cut the entire line. Really for any reason. M2: I think she's the Roz. I mean, when I was waiting for Tower of Terror and those two like teenagers caught in front of everyone, if I had been standing there, I would have been like, no, I need to get to a dining reservation. no, sorry. Everyone can't cut the line. Like, we need some sense of control around here. We do need some order in the court. The judge is eating beans. M1: Yeah. We need some order here. Okay, so that woman is the Raz. M2: Yeah, all right. This one is this one's a little long, but it was very interesting to me. And it's kind of a loaded situation. Am I the Roz for sleeping in on a family vacation? I 25 female recently went on a family vacation that resulted in basically all of my cousins cutting ties with me and vice versa. I was invited by a few of my cousins to go to Disney World with them, as was my fiance. We took time off from work, unpaid booked flights and bought park tickets. On the first day, the plan was to go to Epcot. I decided to sleep in my fiance kindly stayed back at the resort to wait for me. Once we made it there, I texted a chat with a couple of my cousins, notifying them and requesting we meet up. We never did meet up, although we made plans to meet for dinner at 8 p.m. However, at 6.55 p.m. my cousin Brad reached out to inform me that they were actually changing dinner to 7 p.m. moving an hour early. At that point, we were in line for a ride. I communicated this. I didn't get a reply and then anxiously added they could go without us if they wanted. They did. I had been disappointed that we hadn't met the entire day and it was even more disappointed that they decided to move up dinner. All right, initial thoughts, initial thoughts. I think no one's the Ross. Yeah, no, I agree. That part is like. M1: Seems unnecessary to have moved up dinner though. And give her a five minute warning like you didn't know five minutes before, more than five minutes before. M2: I think they're I think yeah, I think they were pissed to be honest. You're about to find out the next day. The plan was to go to Magic Kingdom. I again slept in and got to the park later than everyone else. This time though, we were able to meet up with everyone. However, at some point after getting off a ride, everyone had left without my fiance and I, even though we were on the same ride and this would have had to wait maybe a single minute for us. They're clearly so mad. This left me extremely annoyed. M1: I think so too, so. Okay. M2: And after some time, I recalled that I had Brad's location and I checked it only to find that they had left the park and gone to a bar without us. Hurt, I then created a group chat with all eight people to explain that I wanted to spend time with everyone and asked that they let me know what they were doing so that my fiance and I could join. They seem to be receptive to this. However, the trend soon continued on. Additionally, we failed to get access to one of the bars. We were going to meet them because the elevator wouldn't take us to the floor and we were already late for dinner because we let everyone else get ready ahead of us and miss the bus. I think they must be talking about California Grill that they got in the wrong elevator or maybe like Dahlia Lounge. I'm confused. ⁓ M1: I was gonna say California grill. Yeah, maybe it could be could be Coronado actually. M2: Yeah, maybe. We were also blamed for a prank that someone was pulling within the suite where a new victim would find a puddle of coffee under their pillow every night. Eventually, I reached out to my cousin, Josh, who seemed to be the source of the hostility to ask if there was an issue. He said that our tardiness bothered him and we ended up getting into a bit with into a bit with no resolve. On the last day, they all had dinner without inviting us. Before this, I had texted to ask what they were up to. They replied, stuck in the rain. But basically, they found out that they were not stuck in the rain. They were at dinner. Things are left on bad terms. I would say and we haven't spoken since it does keep me up sometimes to this day I cannot figure out if I'm in the wrong and find to blame a Lot of people are saying that this person is the Roz of the situation Almost all of the comments are saying you're the Roz you slept in two days. You broke the plan you screwed up the elevator like M1: I mean, the elevator thing, like, okay, here's the thing. Yeah, what? I didn't really get that. I personally don't really like when our group splits up. MouseLit2 knows this. I would rather our group always be together. So like, I understand where the cousins were coming from. However, it feels like they were sort of bullying her. If they were upset, they should have just said something. The way that they were handling it was so dumb. M2: The coffee thing is weird. M1: your cousins, like, I don't know, there's so many other people, if one of you wants to sleep in, that doesn't seem like that big of a deal, like, just meet them when they arrive. M2: I was gonna say it's one thing if they're like, I'm sleeping in, please don't do any rides without me until I get there. But they're not, that is how you would be. And I'd say, you know what? No, I'm gonna do what I wanna, if you can sleep in, cause that's what you wanna do, I'm gonna do what I wanna do. And if that girl is okay with it, then I'm like, you're kind of innocent. I think they were clearly pissed, obviously. And then she did it the next day and they probably were all like, oh, here she goes again, getting really mad about it. Although I'm like, did you need to sleep in both days? But like, whatever. M1: Yeah, that's how I would be. That's how I would be. I don't want to miss anything. M2: and then them leaving the ride. mean, come on. M1: I mean, again, yeah, them telling her they were changing dinner an hour earlier, five minutes before, so she couldn't possibly make it. M2: They're clearly pissed. But also how do they not meet up all day? M1: Maybe they wouldn't text her back, I don't know. M2: I feel like that I feel like she is not the Roz. don't know why everyone was voting that she was the Roz. I don't think she's the Roz. I think the cousins are the Roz. M1: I think the cousins are the Roz too. She probably could have at least said that going into the second day like, we might sleep in again, FYI, feel free to do whatever you want. I'll text you as soon as we're up. Like we are just, whatever, really tired to set expectations better after knowing they were mad the first day. But at the end of the day, cousins, calm down. You guys are the Roz. M2: I can also get like the tension about it a little, but the cousins are the rest. And family drama, family drama. M1: Agreed. Agreed. Okay, my next one. I felt like this was relevant because you have recently taken a VIP tour and this is relevant to VIP tours. So, we live a few states away from California and are planning a trip to visit my husband's mom and brother and our cousins. We're bringing our two kids and taking them to Disneyland. To make it extra special, we're booking a VIP tour which includes a tour guide, skipping all the lines, front row seats at the parades and shows, no wait time for food. It costs about $5,000. but we think it's worth it because we don't go to Disneyland often. The limit is 10 guests. We know this. We also too has recently done a VIP tour. You can't more than 10. We invited my husband's cousin who takes up four spots and then we invited my husband's brother and his mom to be a perfect 10, including our family of four. Here's where it gets interesting. My brother-in-law says he wants to give up his spot for his girlfriend's son instead. M2: I did. M1: and him and his girlfriend can just go separately and hang around on their own and meet up with us when they can. The issue is then we won't be able to ride any rides with them or sit by them during any parades and fireworks. We don't really know his girlfriend or son that well and would rather spend the day with him. We told him that we want to spend the day with family and are offering the two spots to just him and his mom and he is now refusing to go. I feel bad but I'm siding with my husband because I feel like we should get to decide who to invite since we're paying the $5,000 for the VIP tour. And if we could add on two more people, we would. But in that case, to add on two more, we would have to pay for another tour guide, which would be $5,000 more. So, am I the Roz for not letting my husband's girlfriend's kid be a part of our group instead of him? M2: That's tough. That's loaded. At the end of the day, I don't think that person is the Roz, especially because they're paying. I think that they're... ⁓ my God, do you think they are? M1: ⁓ So when I initially read this, was like, they're not the Roz. Reading it back, I almost sort of think they are the Roz. Like I do get it. I get it. You don't know that kid. M2: I get it. I think it's interesting because part of it's like, okay, you're giving the spot, they can do what they want with it. But the other part is like, you're paying and they're going to be spending the day with this person and they don't want to spend the day like babysitting someone's kid. M1: Yeah, true. Like you don't, and you don't know the kid and you want to spend time with your brother and his girlfriend. M2: And the brother's trying to be nice to the kid and to his girlfriend and do this special thing. And like, obviously they should know that the brother's not trying to be malicious and like not being like, I don't want to hang out with the family. They're trying to do something special and nice. M1: Here's the unfortunate thing. Now, no matter what happens, it's gonna be a sour situation because either the kid is gonna come and the woman who wrote this is going to be mad and like have a bad time because she's not with her brother or the kid isn't gonna come and it's gonna be so awkward because the brother's gonna be like, really? And the kid is gonna be off doing whatever, not getting to be on the tour. Unfortunately, she's now in a lose-lose, I fear. M2: It is a lose lose situation. think at the end. M1: I honestly don't even know that anyone is the Roz. M2: just kind of like, I feel like this is a communication issue. I feel like the person who wrote it needs to be like, hey brother, this is why, like if we've invited Mouselet3 and MouseletJay on a VIP tour and then they gave the spot to like MouseletJay's brother, I'd be like, ⁓ like I like MouseletJay's brother, but I want it to be with you guys. like, I'm kind of sad that you guys don't want to be on this even though how special, but I would be like. Okay, yeah, I would like Mouse and Jay's brother, who obviously is important to both of you, say whatever in this, you know, to come. So I'd be like, okay. M1: Same, I would just kind of be like, bummer, like I really kind of wanted to see you. But like if you think that that makes more sense for like your family, your like smaller family unit, then like, okay. M2: Yeah, I think it's tough though. I get the frustration, especially because they're paying and it is like a lot of money. do think it's, when you're paying for it, money, Mrs. Moumelidis adds a little bit of, Mrs. Moumelidis, if you know, know, guys, adds a little layer to it, so. M1: It... Yeah. Because I guess based on reading this, the girlfriend and her son just like weren't going to get to be a part of the tour, but were coming on the trip. So like in general, that is kind of maybe like he added them after or maybe he added them after and stuff. M2: ⁓ okay. Yeah. Okay, now I kind of get it though. I'm like, yeah, let the kid have fun. This is like a once in a lifetime thing for the kid. M1: Yeah, like I know they don't the greater family doesn't know the kid, but maybe the girlfriend's important to him. He's like, I want you to get to know this kid that would be like my stepchild. It'd be really special for him to hang out with these people that would be his cousins. I don't really think that I don't I don't think that the brother is the Roz because like he's just asking being like, hey, this I would like to do this. M2: Honestly, in a way, might have been the rise if he didn't do that. If he was like, sorry. M1: Yeah, if anyone is the Roz, if anyone is the Roz, I kind of think it is the person who posted, but I sort of think that there isn't really a Roz and it's just kind of like you guys want different things and it's an unfortunate situation. M2: Yeah, but I do really think that the brother might have been the rise had he not invited the kid. It was just like, sorry. He like almost sort of had, he actually almost sort of had to. M1: Yeah, I'm going. That would have actually been so weird if he was like, see ya, see ya girlfriend and kid, have fun. You don't get to go on this special thing at Disneyland, which is, you for kids, right? M2: Bye. And then he's like riding Space Mountain and they're like waiting in line. Like I actually, some perspective there. Okay. I actually have two more and I think I'm going to do both. M1: I have two more, Elsa. M2: ⁓ I thought we were each doing three. Great. OK, am I the Ross for ruining a kid's day at Disney World? Background. My wife and I had just gotten engaged at Disney World in Orlando. We're from Britain and this trip was expensive. It was my wife's first time and she's always dreamed of going. Naturally, my wife was so excited to see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. I've been going since I was a kid, so I knew that we needed to get to the front of the castle early. M1: Go. M2: It's the kind of show where projections play over the castle and she's only four foot eleven. Interesting that they're from Britain, but they're using feet and inches. M1: Do they measure in meters? Like height, I guess. M2: I think so. I think so. A cast member arrived and asked us to step back all the way until we had our toes on a line on the ground. She informed us that this was for safety reasons and that under no circumstances should we cross the line during the show. She stood directly in front of us and I will be chiming in at the end with a story of my own. M1: Well, I was gonna say, I know that line well. I know exactly where it is. M2: We had about five minutes to go until the fireworks started when a family started shoving through behind us. I felt them shove my back and I hobbled over the line to quickly stepped back. They were sort of squished against us and the people behind. Just then I heard a sigh and a mutter of, Razzes, coming from behind me. I looked around to check it out. The dad caught my eye when I turned around. Maybe you folks could let the kids enjoy the show. They can't see the castle from behind all of these adults. Now, under ordinary circumstances, I would let family step ahead. But there were a few factors to consider. One, we were already flushed against the line that we were not allowed to cross courtesy of a very dutiful cast member. And if they stepped ahead, they'd be over the line and be forced to step back. And then we'd all be crushed together. Two, the man didn't just want to let his youngest through to stand in the front. He wanted to let his family through, except for the kid. They were all far taller than my wife. Remember, guys, his wife is four foot eleven. We had also been waiting for nearly two hours. They arrived minutes to go. My wife had never been able to do anything like this growing up. It may seem silly, but this was massive for her. So I told them that no, they cannot get in the front, that there's maybe room for his kid if she stood back far enough. There was a line on the floor that we could not cross and that we had been there for a very long time waiting to get a good view and he should have done the same. This enraged him. He started to say things like, you people are cruel and what lovely folks you are. I hope you're pleased with yourself, Roses. When the show started, his kids started screaming, daddy, daddy, I can't see. I made a gap for her alone to come up through, but her dad barged through with her and over the line. He was immediately sent back through a cast member and this only angered him further. His kids started crying. Dad spent the next five minutes loudly telling us that we were the reason she was upset, demanding we look at her, et cetera. It was awful. The worst part was he started to step up the back of my heels and push so far up against me that I was struggling to stay up. This story has mixed opinions with everyone I tell it to you. What do you think? No mixed opinions here. That family is the Rosses. Do you agree? M1: Yeah, the family is the rosas for sure. Like, I mean, I get it. you want, I honestly would have been like, you know, we actually just got engaged. This is really special to her, but like the kid can come stand in front of me. Like that's fine. Or something like that, just to try and like diffuse it. Because once you're in a situation like that, again, now you have to stand near these people the whole show who are mad and it sucks. And we've experienced it. M2: And this sets it. In 2018, I believe, because it was in our photography era. So it has to have been 2018. We decided that we wanted to, as photographers of course, we wanted to go stand in front of the castle and be like right at the walkway up to take amazing pictures of Happily Ever After. It turns out you actually don't even get that good of pictures from that spot. We literally got there like two hours early. I mean, so early. We ate Casey's on the ground there. We were sitting down right at the entrance. There was a cast member there. M1: You M2: who actually was telling us a really interesting story about when she met Kylie Kardashian and they had to shut down all Small World for Kylie Kardashian. So it was a lot of tea from this cast member. And she also informed us that we were not allowed to sit during the show. You had to be standing. It was a safety thing. And we were like, okay. So anyway, like 15 minutes before the show, we're still sitting. We've been waiting for forever. The show's like 10 minutes of show, whatever, we stand up. The people behind us who are standing, to be clear. Enraged they were enraged. Okay. I'm five foot seven ish five foot eight and the woman behind me was like five foot six and She starts poking me in the back being like, excuse me. Excuse me I can't see and I turned around and I was like trying to defeat I was like, ⁓ my gosh, I'm so sorry We were gonna sit I said we even were trying to take pictures of these small tripods like we wanted to sit the whole time but the cast member told us like we're not allowed to sit and she was like Okay, well, maybe you could squat the whole show then because how am I supposed to see over you? And I was like, well, this is like an it's an 18 minute show. Like I can't like I can't squat the whole show and the entire show she's poking. She poked me in the back and I was like, lady, I like I got here before you. I'm sorry. I what do want me to do? M1: You Again, it's like, it just becomes a horrible situation because you're standing with so much tension. I mean, that woman is physically touching you, but like, you're standing with so much, like there's so much tension. It's so awkward. But yes, that family, that dad was the rosas. Again, I would have been like, why isn't the little girl come stand in front of me so that she can see? And then we'll try and move our heads so you guys can like peek through. But we just got engaged. This is a really special trip. But like, M2: was so inappropriate. Yeah. I mean, the whole family doesn't get to go ahead because they have kids. I agree being like, ⁓ does the kid want to come up here? yeah. Yeah, we've like, of course, you can let a kid slide through, like the girlfriend is, Beyonce is four foot 11. But yeah, the parents, I understand you want to be with your kid, like, also you're not entitled to a front row view. Honestly, that kid might have had a better view further back. The front row is not as all it's cracked up to be. M1: We've done that before, be like, ⁓ yeah, they can stand in front of us. The parents. No, do you remember when we were with Taryn somewhere? I think we were watching the Epcot fireworks from somewhere weird. M2: ⁓ my God. No, no. It was the Disneyland parade. Magic happens in the hub. M1: ⁓ and the guy put that kid on his shoulders. That's what I'm talking. No, I don't think you're talking about this. ⁓ no, I'm talking about we were somewhere on like a grassy hill. We must have been an Epcot and we're standing there. The fireworks had been going for like two minutes and this dad, big tall guy with like a big tall 12 year old literally comes in front of us and puts a 12 year old on his shoulders and we cannot see a thing like. M2: ⁓ I'm thinking about when those people got furious at us. M1: It was literally like so, so, so in the way and the show had already started and he walks up and did that. The whole crowd booed him. Literally the whole crowd there booed him. Really? Oh my God. I can't picture like what we were on a hill and he was like right in front of us. I can't picture exactly where we were, but I remember this big man with this big 12 year old on his shoulders and it was like nobody could see. M2: I have no memory of this. What grassy hill were we possibly sitting on? I have no memory of that. I was going to say when we were waiting for a parade in Disneyland, there are these people who are sitting on the benches in the back row and we showed up to the parade and they were sitting on the benches behind. So it's like we couldn't get behind them sitting. So we stood behind the people who are waiting for the parade, you know, on the sidewalk and they were fuming and furious that we were standing in front of them. And you, Mouselet1, wanted to just give in. And I was like, but I was just me and me and Taryn were like, what are we supposed to do here? M1: I hate confrontation. Hate, hate. M2: They're choosing to sit on a bench in the back row. Sorry, you can't see over the people standing. Like, what's there to do? And so me and Taryn stood there and it was awkward the whole time. M1: Yeah, unfortunately like the... awkward the whole time and I was like I don't want to feel this awkwardness so I walked elsewhere but yeah unfortunately like also you that family from the original story showed up and expected to get front row to the fireworks like like you're I mean literally but it's like you're never gonna get probably front row M2: Are they part of the Mouseless family? Yeah, get what you could get. If you want to get the best seat, you gotta get there early. And honestly, again, that's not that good. Like, that was very entitled of them. So. M1: Really early. Yeah. Yes. Okay, my next one is also about a family coming from the UK. My husband and I have booked our first trip to Disney World in Florida with our little girl in the spring. It's a big holiday, especially as we are traveling in from the UK. We've been super excited about this trip and talked about it for years. My brother-in-law and his wife, who we are not close with at all, have randomly invited themselves along for a few days because, quote, it will be good for the kids. I feel like I've been backed into a corner where I can't say no to them joining us. For a bit more context, my husband works away, so we will have been apart for three months prior to this holiday. And I feel it's important to have our family time and enjoy our holiday as we intended. I mean, if we'd wanted other family members to join us, we would have invited them to come, right? I can't help but feel that they've totally intruded on our plans and it's really getting to me. They live a short flight away, so though it would be easier for them to do that than to come to the UK, which yes, suits them, it's our special holiday. My husband is being supportive and totally gets where I'm coming from, but he doesn't think it's that big of a deal if we meet them there. Am I the Roz by being annoyed with them and not wanting them to come? M2: don't know, that's tough because I think, like I don't think that that family is doing anything wrong. They probably just are like, how perfect, like we never get to see you, this would be fun. M1: They probably are like, ⁓ my gosh, so special. You're close to us, we'll join you. But I do get what she's saying. M2: special special special but But on the other hand, I get what she's saying and maybe she's not related to them per se, right? So it might just be up to the brother to be like, hey, this would have been so fun, but this is a trip for us. I mean, I think part of it would be like, hey, we're really excited to see you. We are gonna have some just our family time though, because we don't get to see each other. they can't stop them from taking a trip. And I feel like there's no... there's no good path that this could go down if they try to turn it down, especially because that other family is probably so excited. But I get her opinion too. M1: I'm like- get her opinion too and I also think like, you know, me and Melsa too, like totally understand wanting to do Disney like your way and sometimes when you are with other people, it doesn't always feel like you're doing the trip how you want to when you've been so excited. But like putting myself in these shoes, putting yourself, if like my brother-in-law and his wife, not that any of my brother-in-laws are married, but let's say they were, we're like, we're gonna come like, ⁓ my gosh, we never get to see you guys like. This is perfect, we're gonna come." And I made Mouseletsy tell them no. M2: Yeah, that's like I'm thinking of like Mouselet A telling her sister, no, no. She wouldn't. She wouldn't. She'd be like enough. But I think what we would say is like, hey, like, ⁓ my gosh, so excited. Like we haven't seen each other. We are going to do a couple of nights like just the two of us. And honestly, I hope that that family would sort of expect that anyway, you know. M1: It would imagine imagine a mouse that I had if you told me also day. Yeah, like I Like when you're planning, be like, okay, so for like Saturday night, ⁓ I actually wanna take like, you know, my wife and kids to this restaurant, just us, like it's, she's been so excited about it and like, we just want a little bit of family time, like let's meet up after or something. You could do it in an easy way, but yeah, like, well, I do understand the woman who posted this. I kind of think she is the Roz because I think it's just her husband's family dynamic is probably that. And like, seriously, if... If you were Mouselet 3, obviously we're much closer than these people appear to be. We're going. like, imagine if Mouselet 3 was like, sorry, Mouselet J says you can't come. I would be like, well, I hate you and Mouselet J. M2: Literally, I'm trying to think of like trying to play devil's advocate and think about it. Like I guess she's anticipating this trip, this family trip. And then now these other people are coming and like, it's like, ⁓ well now we're gonna have to do a certain thing this day because that's what they want to do. And like, M1: It's unfortunate. It changes the dynamic of a trip. Again, like we've been on trips where we've ended up like meeting up with people, meeting up with other creators, being on a brand trip, whatever it is, where our day kind of gets thrown for a loop because rather than doing exactly what we want to do, we're doing we're also catering to other people, which just like changes the vibe of a trip. Even if you're having fun doing that, it's still like, well, this maybe isn't exactly how I pictured the day. This is an expensive trip for them. Like I do. I get it. I feel for her. But I don't, I think. M2: I get it, but unfortunately it's like if you're a good family member, like, you can't, you can't. And honestly, it's, yeah, that's eye-opening for some people probably like, yeah, that's tough. That's tough. M1: No. I feel bad, but unfortunately, if she does tell them that they can't come, she is the Ross. Me too. M2: I think she's valid, I think she needs to just and I think she may and you know what? Maybe it's like you haven't seen your husband in a while. Maybe that family will watch your little girl and you and your husband can go to a date night or something like I think it stinks. But also like at the end of the day, you're still going to have family time like you don't have to mingle with them nonstop. I get it though. I do get it so. I think it's tough. M1: Your kids! Yep, okay, what's your next sign? M2: Okay, my last one, I think we actually have similar sort of topics, but not totally. Am I the Roz for ruining my daughter's dream Disney World marriage proposal? Ooh, I know. Throw away in fake names. That's like a Reddit thing, I guess, that people like make a fake, use fake names. My 51 year old female daughter, Sarah. ⁓ sorry, I'm already confused. Wow, I've read this entire thing thinking that there was a major age gap in this couple. Sorry, this woman is 51. M1: ⁓ mine is about a wedding, so they are similar vein. M2: My 51 female daughter, Sarah, 29 female, is a lesbian who is now engaged to Lily, 32 female. Okay. Totally different than I thought it was 51 and 32 though. I was like, whoa. No. During Sarah's childhood, her daughter, on multiple occasions, had told me that her dream place to get engaged was Disney World. When Lily told me that she wanted to propose to my daughter, I suggested Disney World. M1: Love. M2: So for Sarah's 29th birthday, her birthday present was that Lily and I were taking her to Disney World for her first time ever there. Sarah seemed so happy. This part is relevant to later events. She wore gray sweats, sneakers, and no makeup. While having fun, she got sweaty and stinky, her words. She looked the happiest I've... Yes. She looked the happiest I've ever seen my daughter. Gray sweats, no makeup, sweaty and stinky. She looked the happiest I've ever seen her. I was filming her with my phone. M1: This is, sorry, this is her daughter who's sweaty and stinky? Okay. Okay. M2: Later that day, Lily proposed to Sarah. Sarah said yes and then kissed her. I thought that my daughter got her dream marriage proposal. But later that week, Lily expressed to me that Sarah told her that she didn't like how both of them looked. And the aunt smelled on her 29th birthday. That Sarah said if she had known this was going to be a proposal place instead of just a birthday present, she would have made sure both of them looked like princesses. I told Lily to let me tell Sarah that Disney World was my idea, but Lily said she doesn't want me to take the blame. I to beg Lily to allow me to take the blame before she gave me permission. When I told Sarah that Disney World was my idea, she lost it on me. She said, how could I allow her to look that way on her proposal? I should have made sure she looked like a princess and that her proposal came earlier in the day so she didn't feel messy before the proposal. Despite her telling me Disney World was her dream proposal place, she was completely surprised. Am I the Roz? No, her daughter's the Roz. Sarah's the Roz. M1: sweaty and stinky. No. The daughter is the rest, Sarah. Like I understand being like, ⁓ my gosh, mom, you couldn't have at least told me to like clean up or something. But like you had said you wanted to get married at Disney World. Your mom is trying to do something so nice for you. M2: I don't think it's on her mom. I think it's on her fiance a little bit too. I mean, also like I think it is weird that Sarah was saying they were both, she didn't like how they both looked. Because Lily knew that she was doing it. Did Sarah not see it coming? M1: Fiance, yes. ⁓ yes, like I Yes. Yeah, that was interesting. OK, poor Lily, poor Lily. But like, I know it's hard when, yeah, when you want ⁓ a proposal to be a surprise, it can be hard. Like, I've seen stories of of boyfriends trying to get their girlfriend to go get a manicure and she gets like, you know, like donut nails or something like that. And they're like, OK, like these are the nails that you're going to get proposed to it. M2: I saw that. But I saw one on TikTok that she like wanted to wear this like Christmas vest. And he was like, do you really want to wear that? And she's like, you're you're trying to like stifle my like whimsy and like lost it. And then she said it was because he was proposing. I remember it was so funny. M1: I saw that one actually. So like, I get it. It can be hard. So maybe the mom and Lily should have tried to like, nudge like, they should have just said, we're going to a nice dinner tonight or something like. M2: We're gonna have a special photo shoot dressed up as princesses. I do sort of think, I guess like you have to know who it is, right? Like, I think for you, if you were like on a hike looking like a slop without makeup on and your hair was up, you would be very displeased to be proposed to. M1: I would be mad and you know what? My husband would know to never do that. And so like, you know, I got proposed to after we went to a very fancy steak house because then I was dressed up. So like, yeah, Lily should have known her soon to be wife. M2: I think we would all know that. And maybe her mom should have said something, but like at the end of the day, was a special moment. And also it sounds like Sarah wanted to wear that. M1: Yeah, like someone should have probably nudged her to get dressed more nicely, but Sarah reacting this way, it's not your mom's fault. Your mom was trying to do something nice. M2: Also, at the end of the day, when you think of a proposal and like you want to share the story, okay, you're obviously like you want the pictures, not like, yes for yourself, but also for like social media and things. So it's like, okay, but you can go and get dressed up and take special pictures after. And like, you don't have that moment, but like it was a surprise. I don't know. I also think it's a little bit weird that the mom and Lily were like in cahoots behind Sarah's back. Not like to plan it, after being like, please Lily, let me take the blame. I'm like. M1: Yeah. Yeah, like, okay, for example, after I gave birth to my son, the next day a photographer came in to take pictures of him. I didn't realize that we would be in the pictures. I had not showered after giving birth. I looked truly heinous. So, so, so bad. I hate how I look at these pictures, but I'm like, you know what? It's a memory. Like it's how it actually happened. It is what it is. It's not like, you know, I have to be like, it's a memory. Like I can take other pictures of him later where I don't look disgusting. But it's like, I don't know, it's not anybody's fault. It's a memory, it's how it happened. M2: I guess like think about so you got you got engaged and say you guys had just gone I'm trying to imagine like you had just gone to the pool I was gonna say the gym but that wouldn't happen ⁓ you had gone to the pool ⁓ I mean what like I'm just trying to think of an example like you being kind of gross you didn't have as much makeup on your hair was in a bun and he like proposed to you M1: I wouldn't be mad. mean, I wouldn't... M2: I mean, but it's like, are you like, would you get a picture of it? Like, I feel like it's about I feel like for them, it's about the picture. Like, obviously, maybe you wouldn't be like, please say you felt in the moment. But like, at the end of the day, no one knows, including yourself, what you look like in the moment, other than if there's a photo. So it's obviously like there are pictures and she's upset how she looked in those pictures. I do. M1: probably, but it's like, take more pictures later. I think if anyone is on Lily to not have tried to nudge, to know what she likes and try to nudge her to get, you know, dressed up, but like, it's definite. I think Sarah's being the ross. I think Sarah's being rude. M2: Yeah, she's being too immature. Sarah needed to be like, guys, ⁓ my God, I'm sweaty and stinky and I'm wearing gray sweatpants. I'm like so, and maybe she could just be like, I'm so bummed that I didn't look better in this moment that was so special I want to remember forever. And then you just, and then you say that, because at the end of the day, Lily and her mom planned something so special for her and she's ruining it. So, lifetime memory that she ruined. All right, last one. M1: Yeah, like. A lifetime memory, yeah, Sarah. Our very last one is about a wedding. Me, female 28, and my fiancee, male 30, just got married two months ago and we had our dream wedding. Everything was perfect and I mean everything. My parents and his parents helped us pay for a great chunk of the wedding so we would be debt free and we were so eternally grateful for that. And for context, this was a Disney wedding which will become clear in a moment. The issue arose about a month and a half ago when my aunt started posting on Facebook about how disappointed she was with the whole ordeal and a few guests sided with her. M2: Like, okay, can we not keep going? But like, can we not do that? M1: I mean, yeah. Background, my fiance and I are huge Disney fans and we travel to Disney World as much as we can throughout the year. Disney is such an important part not only to us, but also to our marriage, because again, it was a Disney wedding. The issue with our decision, the issue was that our decision was to not offer catering services slash bar services at our wedding due to instead routing the money towards having a wedding Mickey and Minnie make an appearance on our special day. The cost to have both Mickey and Minnie for a good chunk of time, 30 minutes, was almost exactly what our parents had allotted for our catering budget. So we scheduled an appearance during our first dance and our wedding photos for going serve food, though there were plenty of facilities at the venue where people could eat. My parents were still very supportive of us, but everyone else is being passive aggressive about it on Facebook. M2: A good chunk of time. 30 minutes. M1: After reading some of the comments, I want to add two points of clarification. One, to those asking if the guests were warned, we clearly outlined in the invitation that there was food available at the venue. We didn't exactly spell out every restaurant's menu, but it was certainly mentioned there were also vending machines available throughout. Point number two, for everyone saying that that's too much for 30 minutes, I want to clarify that it was two, two different 30 minute sessions. $2,750 was the cost for one session. Am I the Roz? M2: Yeah, you are. M1: Wow. Okay, I have mixed thoughts. What do you think? M2: Okay, what I think is that one, did you need two 30 minute sessions? Also, you're saying that they helped you so you're debt free. Okay, well, maybe you should spend $2,000 more and get something to eat. I don't know if it was clear if they said there's food at the venue. I don't know if that would mean we are not feeding our guests. There are vending machines. And also, honestly, part of wedding people are like they're flying down to Disney, they're sacrificing their time and things. Not everyone wants to go to a wedding that doesn't have any food or beverages. M1: Yeah. Yeah, that's the thing. think to ask, you know, if you were getting married, like in your hometown and everybody was driving over and you were like, you know what, we can't afford food and beverages or something, whatever. But at least like people are just sort of popping by. But to ask people to come to a, what is probably seemingly a destination wedding, fly down or get down there, stay in a hotel, sort of the exchange is typically that you are putting on a fun event for them. And that typically includes food and drinks like, It's not necessarily fair to ask people to travel all the way there. Also, like, I, I'm a, maybe there was water, I don't know. I'm a Disney fan too. I do think that for anyone who's not a huge Disney fan saying we don't have any food, but don't worry, Mickey and Minnie will be here. It's a tough sell. It's a tough sell. M2: I mean, come on, no drinks, no water and juice? Well, it's like one, did you need wedding make Mickey and Minnie? I get it. Like maybe it'd be weird if like Mickey was there alone. Did you need two sessions? Could you have saved up? You're getting married at Disney. So it's pretty expensive. Could you have saved up a little bit extra? Like, it's not like you're getting married at like the, local area near you. like every dollar counts and you're like, okay, this and this. like you're getting married at Disney. So obviously you have the money to do that. And. M1: Right. Do one wedding making mini session and at least only have drinks and like appetizers. Don't do a plated meal. Yeah, yeah. M2: Or dervs or dervs and drinks. Come on. Like, I'm sure the food and stuff was expensive, but no. And to say there's vending machines. What venue do you think they were at? The Four Seasons? I can't think of any other place that has vending machines. I guess some of the value resorts. M1: I mean, the vending machines, should not have said. No, don't they all have like little vending machines? ⁓ I was gonna, there's no way they got married in a value resort. I was picturing the grand, because he said there were multiple places to eat. Yeah. I don't know, ⁓ &Ms or something. I don't know. I don't know. M2: You think the Grand Floridian has vending machines? With food in them? I mean, that's unhinged. Also, I don't know, the assets people are getting dressed up. just think like if you're getting married at the Grand Floridian nonetheless, no, this this person is the ultimate Roz. That was a terrible decision. M1: Granted, I do think that the aunt like posting on Facebook is also being is also being a Ross. She's being a Karen. It's like, OK, you. Gossip amongst. Yeah, certainly gossip amongst your friends and family about how ridiculous this was, but like you don't need to post on your Facebook. M2: I just made a post as well. Well, it's like, guys, talk about it with your friends. You have to post on your Facebook. I'd be there being like, ⁓ my God. But also, if they clearly said, we're not serving food and drinks, one, if they were clear about it, which I'm not sure that they were, but you could make the choice to not go or eat up before, and it's kind of weird, and you're like, well, let me make the most of it, because they know that there's no food, and if they were clear about that, I feel a little bit better for this woman. She made a decision. No one had to come to this wedding. M1: Yeah. I do think if she was very clear, then honestly, she's not the Ross. She said, she said, we clearly outlined in the invitation that there was food available at the venue. I don't know that if someone said like food available at venue that I, that would occur to me like, ⁓ you're not serving me dinner. I have to go get my own food. I don't know that I would think that. M2: I don't know if she was very clear, but if she I wouldn't understand that. So if like people were sitting there hungry, that's one thing. But if they were clear, I'm like, it's her wedding. I still think it was a terrible decision. so, OK, for a special segment today, that was also fun. I think we'll do that again. Hopefully that was some interesting predicaments that people find too many that we related to also. M1: Yeah, I mean, well. Yeah, let us know in the comments your thoughts on them. Do you agree with Who is the Roz? But M2: I'm very curious for a special segment today. We're doing a quick little game of Disney. Would you rather we each prepared five questions? I think that there's a chance that we went completely different directions with these. OK, all right. Yep. I'm going to go like my most like normal to my modest. OK, would you rather give up all roller coasters forever at Disney or give up all like dark rides forever at Disney? Dark rides like haunted mansion pirates like Peter Pan poo. M1: Me too, me too, because we can't see each other's. You start. Okay. Hot take, I think I would give up roller coasters. Like the dark rides are so quintessential Disney. I like can't imagine not doing those. The roller coasters like I would honestly be most sad about Guardians. Like Guardians is such a good ride, I would be really sad. But the other ones like, I don't know, I could do without. They're not like. M2: Me too. Yeah, they are quite dissimilar to me. I could be more sad about space and Everest. I have such nostalgia for those. M1: Yeah, but in general, I have less nostalgia for roller coasters than dark rides. I don't think I could give up the dark rides. M2: I think knowing I could never do them again would just be too much. M1: I'd be sad. That was a good one. Okay, my first one is going to be, ⁓ Mouslethud has had a big sneeze. And she made it. My first one is going to be, would you rather only be, when you're on a Disney trip, only be able to eat food from the parks, so you can eat any food from the resorts, or only be able to eat food from the resorts, nothing from the parks. M2: I did mute it so no one should have known, but. It's tough because the food at the resorts is way better, but just for like the convenience of being able to eat in the parks, I would have to choose the parks, but the resorts is way better. What would you choose? M1: convenience. I I guess parks just because it would be such a nightmare like what you're at Animal Kingdom and you have to go leave and walk and go to Animal Kingdom Lodge to like go to the Mara, which isn't even good to get lunch like that would be. M2: What is with your you bring up Mara like every episode now you like clearly you have beef with the Mara the animal kingdom quick to lodge quick service You like hate the mar with everyone knows that like seriously, it's like it please ⁓ Okay, I've won along the same lines would you rather never eat at Ohana again Ever your favorite restaurant or would you rather eat at Pinocchio's Village House at least two times every single Disney trip? M1: The Marissa, I think that the Mara is so bad. It's terrible, okay? and my least favorite restaurant where I once had a pizza with congealed cheese. ⁓ my God. I would eat at Pinocchio's Village House and I would get like... M2: Okay, wait, initially I had it as three times for Disney trip, I thought you wouldn't pick it. M1: oof oof I don't know if I could do that I'm only there four days I'm eating Pinocchio's village house three times it's so bad it's I don't know but Ohana's my favorite Ohana's my favorite how could I give it up ⁓ my god Pinocchio's village house but like I know you do M2: So two times you would do it, but three times you would. Every time you go to Disney, you have to eat two meals there. What's your choice? I like Pinocchio, so I would be up for that. I honestly, if someone brought me that vegan pizza right now, I gobble it up. M1: Ugh, God, it's so disgusting. Okay, would you rather spend a full day only in Toy Story Land or only in Pandora? M2: I'm gonna say Toy Story Land because I... M1: Interesting I didn't I didn't think that you were gonna pick that I guess you could do me a million times. That'd be fun You'll be roasting in the blistering heat M2: I was gonna say would do Mania a bazillion times. But I would eat at Roundup Rodeo, which I actually like. And I would do Slinky, know, would do Swirling Sausage once. Lunch at Woody's, breakfast there, whatever. I like Pandora. I really like Sotuli Canteen. ⁓ But I don't love the rides there. Like Navi's okay, Flight of Passage is yes, an amazing ride, but it's not one of my favorites personally. And so I think, and there's just not. There's just like not enough to do in Pandora. just it needs like a playground or something. It needs just a little something else. What would you pick? M1: It does. Probably Toy Story Land. I'm worried about the heat in Toy Story Land and the... Yeah, the food in Pandora entices me and it's much more of kind of like a peaceful thing, but I think Toy Story Land is a little bit more to do. I do think it would be like, like imagine standing out there all day in the like 90 degree sun. Oof. Spend a lot of time in that little gift shop at the exit of Mania. M2: I'm worried about that too and being overstimulated. Yeah. OK. Yeah, I would spend I would eat a long meal and round up rodeo. Okay, would you rather for the rest of your life, you can go on five trips per year, but you have to stay at the value resorts. Or you can only go on one trip per year, but you get to stay at a deluxe. M1: Poof, is my one trip a year longer? M2: Sure. M1: Okay, that one. I would do that one. M2: Five four-day trips or one seven-day trip. M1: Ugh, one seven day trip probably. I don't know. I don't know. That's hard. M2: That's hard for me too. I think like thinking like long term. All right, say the next five years. Because like long term, who knows the next five years. So like mouse lets like I would do the values. Yeah, but like long term longevity. I don't know. Yeah, that one's hard. All right. M1: The next five years. The next five years. The next five years I'd pick the values. Yeah. But like lifetime. Yeah, okay. ⁓ Next up, would you rather that you can never go to Magic Kingdom again, but you can go to the other three parks or you can only go to Magic Kingdom and not the other three parks? This is like the ultimate question that I feel like is literally so hard. M2: I would not go to Magic Kingdom again and I would go to the other three parks because Disneyland is there and at least I could do that, but it would be tough for me. It'd be really hard. I would be devastated, but like I'm so happy that this isn't real. M1: I would be so sad. I would probably pick that too, but I would be so, so sad. Same. I would be sick. Same. M2: I'd be sick. I'd be sick. Like I'm sick thinking about it now. Okay, would you rather? Okay, I don't know about this second option. And if this is too easy for you, I'm changing it. Would you rather see the Swiss Family treehouse get demolished or Gaston's Tavern? M1: Either could go. M2: I like it was work. See that's where I felt like to get son's tavern is the most irrelevant thing and you're such a hater We just watched the Swiss family Robinson movie FYI this weekend with our family for some reason I was like you That is one of my favorite attractions and you hold M1: I guess I would demolish guest dance. I would demolish guest dance. M2: Okay, well, fine. Country Bear Jamboree or Swiss Family Trios? Yeah, you're a Swiss Family Trios hater. I just want everyone to know that. She's a Swiss Family Trios hater. I would demolish Gaston's tavern. M1: Swiss family can stay. Swiss family true us. I'm not a hater, but... ⁓ Okay, me too. I said that. Okay, well here I have a demolished one as well. You have to either demolish Living with the Land or the Laugh Floor. Two of Mouselotoo's favorite attr- Two of Mouselotoo's favorite attractions. M2: That's sick. Like, yeah, sick. I think I would have to choose the laugh lore. I just don't think that I could demolish Love Me With The Land. I love the laugh lore, but... M1: I knew what you would choose to laugh for. Bye bye, Marty. Bye bye, Marty. M2: Mouselman hates Marty Wazowski guys. Okay. ⁓ let's I Hope that your baby loves him Okay, this is my one that I googled ugly Disney characters It all comes full circle No, it wasn't it was during the news segment Would you rather you have to dress up as a as one of these two characters? You have to show up to the park on a regular park day get dressed up walk through Magic Kingdom And they say ma'am you cannot be dressed up as this and you're escorted out of the park M1: because he's not funny and he fills half the can. You won't. ⁓ If you know, know, was that was that only in the peach cruise segment? OK. M2: kicked out, but you're just kicked out for the day. And the characters either, and you have to go all out. Dr. Toofin Schmertz or the hag from Snow White. M1: And that's why you searched ugly Disney characters. Wow. I would choose, I think the hag. I would choose the hag. You would choose Doof instruments? M2: You I think I would choose, I think I would choose Doofenshmirtz. I'd be like, oh, I was being so silly. Like I didn't even know. M1: That's true. DuPontverse is easier to feign ignorance. The hag is like, okay. I think I would choose the hag though. M2: I don't know if I could dress up as the hag. I would like lose it in the mirror. I Googled ugly Disney characters and one of them, the hag, Quasimodo, sick, seriously. Hercules, Jafar. ⁓ I meant Hades. Hercules, mean Hunkleys. I have to say one quick thing. On our past trip, we saw these ears and Mouselet goes, M1: I would be scared. ⁓ I'd be scared. Who came up? That's mean, that's Hercules? I was gonna say, HUNK-ULEES himself! M2: Hercules ears and I bought into it immediately and I was like that doesn't even really look like Hercules and I was like ⁓ guess it is like a Greek sort of temple and there's Pegasus It was Fantasia and everyone was like those are Fantasia and I was like M1: Everyone messaged us being like, Fanteja. A movie I've never really seen is Fanteja. M2: We watched Dad's Office on that small TV in like 2001. M1: I can't believe I don't remember that well. Didn't stick with me apparently. M2: sticks out to me and when he was in corner office when Mr. Muse Muse was near him. M1: Wow, I don't remember that at all. That didn't that did not stick with me. Okay, my last one. It's not that crazy. Should I try and think of a crazy one? M2: Wow. Stuck with me. Last one. No, just do it, whatever. Everyone knows it's gonna suck, so just do it. M1: Okay, would you rather never be able to stay at Wilderness Lodge again or never be able to stay at the Polynesian again? M2: Polynesian. M1: I was trying to think, I know wilderness lodge is your favorite, but really you would never say the Polynesian. M2: If I had to pick between the two, I would still love to stay at the Polynesian, but if I had to pick between the two, Builder Nurse Lodge is my home. M1: I would choose to stay at the Polynesian. M2: Of course, you're not a wilderness lodge lover. No, no, no, you don't. All right, guys, let's get into the pit and peach of the week. I'll start with my pit. I have a splinter under my middle fingernail, very deep, and I can't get it out. And I was trying to stick like at this needle thing really deep under my nail and it was torturous. And I Googled it and every single thing says, absolutely do not leave a splinter under your fingernail. And I have no way to get it out. So I'm just gonna leave it there. M1: I love it, just not as much as the Polynesian. You were trying to get it out before we recorded, assume that you'd gotten it out. M2: And it's like, no, it's so deep. was like sticking something in there and I was like. M1: How did you get it? How did you get it? The splinter. M2: I ⁓ from the this weekend the bathroom situation loading all these wood like all this stuff into the car and ripping out the ceiling Yeah, listen to the sitting on the ground talking segments our patreon segment for our pit and peach crew It's like 25 minutes of extra podcast every single week. It's a lot of fun I talked about a huge project which led me to getting this splinter. It's the whole time was at the gym I was like, ⁓ my god, my finger is killing me. I don't what to do M1: Again, shout out to listen to the Patreon segment at the beginning. Ask Papa Mouse that he's like an expert on removing splinters. M2: He'll tell me to stick a needle deep under the nail and I can't. just, I actually, I have my physical on Friday, so maybe I'll ask her to help. M1: He will. You definitely should. Okay, my pit is that my closet is an absolute nightmare mess. I can't even explain what a giant mess it is. But I feel like right now I really only can wear like very certain clothes because you know, postpartum, a lot of clothes don't fit me right now. So feel like it really doesn't make sense to try and like clean anything out because I don't know what's gonna ultimately fit me. But my, I know, but my, I can't even describe to you how messy and awful my closet is. M2: No, I wouldn't. It'll just like depress yourself. So I'll have to pick after and then put it in close runs. Thanks. M1: So it's like every time I go in my closet is awful and it upsets me and then I just am like, ugh, God, it's just awful. M2: Okay, peach. I feel like I have a lot of peaches like this weekend was fun. I brought the Miklet on his first ride on a swing ever and that will just like always be a special moment for me. ⁓ I'm going back home this weekend. I get to see mouse lit. W? Winnie. I see Winnie the dog and mom. I don't know. I feel like I all small peaches. No huge, no huge juicy peach. M1: Nope. Okay, I would say my peach was yeah, the weekend with the family we spent Easter weekend with our parents in Connecticut. It was nice. We were like all there other than mouse today who was with her own family. But it was nice to have everybody together for a little bit and get to be home. It was the Mickletts first time in Connecticut. He spent the night there with me as well. It was fun. I've just nice M2: Yeah. was fine. OK, I was going to has to do a fact of the day. I'll have you kick it off with the fact. Go for it. After you, after you, me lady. M1: How rude, how rude, how rude when I literally just sneezed. ⁓ Do I have a fact? Oof, I don't. My sneeze threw me off, go ahead. M2: It's okay. I'll do a fact that I filmed a video and I filled a series of videos on at Epcot and one of them and maybe I've mentioned it before on the podcast and if I had now you get to hear it again. ⁓ Germany was supposed to have a boat ride called the Rhine River cruise and the back of the pavilion there is an old a giant mural that was supposed to be the entrance to it but learned a little new fact to it is that originally there were two giant wooden barn doors there and then they ended up deciding to not do the ride officially and they replaced it with the mural. M1: That's a one. Mine is, so when Mouselet 2 and I and Mouselet A and Mouselet C took a fireworks cruise, we got to go around and tour a lot of the things that are on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. And there's a lot of stuff, like abandoned things, right? M2: Thank you. Okay, just to be clear, 70s Laguna Balik are completely mine, so how dare you steal something about them? M1: No, Seven Seas Lagoon is mine, Lake is yours. Anyways, there is a tree that is filled with shoes. Like people tied like white pairs of shoes, like white pairs of sneakers together and throw them and they hang on this tree. It's kind of creepy looking to be honest. But it is a tradition from when what the water part, the water activities people retire. They go throw their shoes on that tree. Yeah, they go throw their shoes on that tree. M2: Seventh Seas Lagoon is yours. No, it's not. That's race yours. Yeah. Yeah. Recreation needs. M1: And so if you're ever out there on the boat, you can go and see that tree. M2: I'm kind of surprised Disney still allows that. It's cool. I like when they let stuff like that happen. then again, they have an entire abandoned island there. So I feel like they can't really.
