Just power through. Who? Someone has the giggles. Powered us through. Sorry. But subscribe to the email and podcast. We're actually increasing our subscription. Did you pay attention? On YouTube. No. Tell me about it. We're up to 60 followers. Yeah. Wow. So we were hovering in the 50s, but actually promoting it. actually like us. Maybe they don't like us, but they like what we're saying. Or at least maybe they don't like what we're saying. Could That's why they listen. The one ultimate you put out the last time was, which went over like a lead balloon was the, if you're enjoying the podcast and think Doc's funny, then why don't you hit the subscription button? We flatlined over the course of that week. We didn't go up at all. My bad. Either in our major, in our fantasy league or in our subscription. So it's not about how funny I am. It's more about actually, I don't know what it's about. Why don't you guys tell us? Yes. And what we could do better. But. Thanks for your subscription. All 60 of you are still climbing and we're up to, I'm sure you're glad to hear this, we're up to 58 teams in the fantasy week. no, 48. What'd say? You said 58. my god. 58 would be above and beyond our goal. I was profilying. Right on the set. I was speaking 58. Currently we're at 48. Okay, listen, we got a few weeks left. I think we could do it. We do. We can get to 58, but right now we're at 48. So we're slowly, steadily climbing, but... We're almost to our goal, which is 50. So I think we can do it. And no better to encourage people than you because you're actually sitting presently number two in the Major League League. am moving on up. Yes, I am now coming for Tallahassee Turtles, who is back in the number one spot, season leaderboard. And I am this close to reaching them. Did you jump Jay Vikes? Yes. You jumped him? Yeah. OK. I seen the volley. shouted you out this week because of your job. Yeah, they did. That was nice. So you're sitting in second and if you end up winning this league, I'm sure there's going to be a conspiracy theory that maybe it was an inside job or maybe you had something to with. would make me sad because there is no inside job. just, am, listen, I've been very open about my strategy. Every week I change. Players, I've only maybe twice done more than a week contract with certain players. I told you guys upfront that blocking is the highest way to score. Listen, I'm putting it all out there. I'm doing honest work here. You are, and doing great. And I'm just holding steady at around 16, 17 week after week. I finished third this last round, but still advanced to second place overall. But I don't know. This week my roster is giving me a little bit of shakes. Like I don't really know if this week my roster is gonna pull through, but I went for it. If you don't know, can you make changes? You can't make changes until I think, well, hold on. I think you can make changes, but if you make changes... Only for the weekly contracts or the two week contract, if all's you make changes once the game start, I think there's a penalty. Once the game start for the week? Yeah. OK. Yeah. So yeah. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes, because I I tried to drop someone once, and it was like, I can't. I'm just going to roll with it at this point, because I think the penalty wasn't worth it. Something like Bottom line is we're up to 48 teams. Our goal has always been 50 plus teams, and I just said we're going to reach 58 by the end of the season. ⁓ Shout out Volley Go. They finished number one this last round. OK. Had a great week, right? think they did last last week. They did good as well. Did it move them up in the overall? I'm sure I didn't check that I was selfish and only looked at myself. ⁓ do know? I just like starry eyed because I got I'm now in second. So I thought that was cool. But then we have a new a new name. Volley go sit in fifth. There you go. Volley go sit in fifth. ⁓ J fourth. volley third volley third. ⁓ And then goes you and then goes Tallahassee Turtles. And then this last round. So Volley Go finished number one. And then we had a new name at number two. Mm-hmm. Say it. How do you say it? Call your me impressed. Call your me impressed. Yep. It's not if there's like a joke behind it or like what do you? Sounds Spanish. I'm not quite getting it yet. But maybe reach out to us and let us know. But otherwise, does it say? Can you see with your magnifying glasses? If I hold my head just the right angle, I'm looking for the name is Scott Powers. I know him. But anyway, it's a creative name nonetheless. ⁓ I like But our top scores of the week, we have another new name in the top three. So. ⁓ This is the top three scorers in the fantasy points only in this last week, which number three is Anna DeBeer. Got to see her live, by the way. Yep. Hitting absolute hard balls. Yeah, she hits a lot harder than it looks on TV. It sounds hard. Yeah. When you're there. Yes, I would agree with that. Look, do Yeah. Do do. Anyway, she scored 77.8. That was her only one game this match. That was her only match this week, right? I think so, then second was Grace Loberg with 82.3. For the And then first place, a new name. Not new name, we've seen this name several times throughout the season, but a new name in the top three. ⁓ I think first middle blocker ever to finish in the top three. And is Natalie Foster scoring 100.1 points. And I think it's probably because she had a lot of blocks and a lot of aces. Yep, the one match I think she had four aces. I don't know how many blocks. Yep, she had four aces. But those are two high-scoring skills, right? Mm-hmm. Two of the higher-scoring ones. Yeah. So congrats to all three of them. Pretty exciting. And did you have those three? Is that why you did so well this week? I Natalie and I had Grace week, yes. Good job. But you're not so sure about this week coming up. Yeah. ⁓ don't ask me what my roster is. I don't remember off the top of my head. Perfect, I won't ask you that. fine. Ask me next week. Let's get into some tea in the MLB. How about that? Yeah, let's do it. What do you think about the Supernovas making a change? Big, big announcement. Why you go ahead and share with our audience? mean, I'm sure it's all over socials already. No surprise, surprise, no surprise to you It's weird. OK, so let's start from the beginning. Luca Slabe got released from his coaching duties today. That was a very, I respectful way of saying it. Head coach of the Supernovas. Yep, he got released and Thomas Robson is now going to be the interim head coach. Was the assistant. He was the assistant. He has been the assistant for the last two seasons. And three, right? Year one, he was a stats. What was the year one? Well, he was like this, ⁓ the guy, but when, Coach Shelton was relieved of his coaching duties. Thomas really kind of stepped into an assistant coach, but I don't really know if like titles were changed back then, but he's been an assistant coach the last two seasons. So let me just say love Thomas. We've had him on the pod. He's just a very lovable guy. I think that he is honestly a perfect combination of like an administrative, tactical coach and a player coach. I think he has such a balance of the two, like he, with his history with statistics, like he knows how to analyze volleyball. He knows, you know, strategy. He's also played volleyball in his college days. he in the Barrow or something, or was it center? No, he's an outside. He was, okay. Outside. So ⁓ there's historic part of him and his experience, but then, Like I just said, he's a lovable guy. he, think just naturally making relationships and encouraging people, making them laugh, making them feel comfortable a God given talent of his. But I think he also ⁓ a lot from learning under Bird the last two years and ⁓ the friendship that they made. Bird is definitely like a player coach, like knows how to. fire people up and she knows people's strengths and all those things. So I think he's learned a lot from her. And so I'm really, really, really happy for Thomas. I think that he has put in so much hard work and sacrifice the last, I would even say prior to coming to the Supernovas, he's put in a lot of hard work at Wisconsin. And I'm just really happy that all of that is paying off for him now. And I just, wish him the best. I think that he will do awesome. I think that the girls will really rally around him. And I just, hope and pray that this is like a huge spark that the team can use in these final weeks ahead. Credit to him. He's been the only holdover on the coaching staff for the last three years. I mean, it's you kind of evolved like a revolving door in terms of the coaching staff personnel. But he's been here. He's been the one constant. Yeah. Although there's a couple of things I do want to mention about that. What do you what's your perspective on the timing of the change? Yeah. So you ask like, am I surprised? Am I not surprised? So like, ultimately, I am surprised because of the timing. I'm not surprised that he's being relieved Coach Luca, but would have expected this a few weeks back. I'm assuming it didn't happen a few weeks back because then the team kind of turned things around and they started to get things going and ⁓ you know, were winning. And so maybe That's why maybe that decision wasn't made a few weeks ago and maybe that's why it was made now. I don't have any insight to that, so I'm not sure. But I was surprised when I found out just because I'm like, oh, that's just the timing of it is just really interesting. I don't think it's a bad thing. Like I said, I think this These are the final weeks. fourth, fifth, sixth, their records, they're all extremely close. These next few weeks are the most important of the entire season for, you know, these four teams that are sitting third through sixth. ⁓ I don't think it's a bad thing. This timing, although surprising, I think if we need to do something, it needs to be now because this is like I said, the most important weeks ahead. And we need to secure a final four spot. Anything can happen in the final four. Anything. Yes, once you get there, anything can happen. We witnessed it. When we get to the final four, it's 0-0 across the board. No rankings matter. Nothing. It doesn't matter. You just need to get there. And so that's why this is such a crucial time. Unless you're the four seed and you happen to play Indy first match. mean, it's going to be a tough out. Honestly, if you're Omaha, though, I mean, we're the only team to match to tie the series this year. OK, you think we match up well with Indy? We have, for some reason, I don't know if I can figure it out, but we match up well against Indy. OK, from your experience down the stretch with the new leader at the helm, what do the supernovas need to do to maximize and capitalize on this change of leadership? If you were the head coach, how would you pull your team together. I think so many thoughts running through my head. First of all, they need to get healthy. So the three random injuries that have recently happened are just like, man, that's brutal timing. So we need to make sure that everyone's healthy. Secondly, there been a lot of outside noise this year. And I understand why, you know, the team this year has not succeeded like the former I think they're sitting 500 right now. are. It's 11-11. record is 11-11. So think more than the team needs to close those doors on social media, ⁓ media in general. like friends and family can sometimes be those voices that they don't necessarily need right now. Now sometimes, obviously, If you have that close sphere, like your family and friends are important to encourage you. I'm not saying to like close the door on everyone that you love. I'm not saying that. Right. time to dial it in. ⁓ time to dial it in and to look at each other ⁓ and to to ⁓ they have like they have something to fight for. I think ⁓ ⁓ of those girls have the same experience that I have had with Thomas, Thomas is such a easy person to fight for. So you think the male coach that we've talked about in the past has no problems assimilating into the team's psyche. We talked about the male coaches versus the female coaches. If there was a male coach that could relate to his players, would be Thomas. Exactly. It is Thomas. And so if I just put myself in a player's shoes right now, I'd be like, oh, Heck yeah, I'm going to do everything I possibly can for this guy. I've seen him put in the work. I've seen him dedicate time, so much of it, to us. Like, I got you. I'm going to do this for you. I'm going to do this for the girls around me. think, I guess, first and foremost, health. But then secondly, it's like, I now have a motivation and an inspiration behind. I can rock with that. and I'm going to do this for Thomas. Have you ever had a midseason change like this in any of your career, whether it be collegiate or professional? I don't think so. Yeah, not really. I don't think I've ever experienced something like this this late in a season. Yeah. But hopefully they can rally around Thomas and the new coaching staff and find a way to not only get to the final four, but hopefully win it all. we did talk about getting back to numbers from the viewership for the MLV All-Star match. Let's just touch base on that really quick. It looked like the MLV was excited about the viewership. Anyone should be excited about it. It was amazing. was a 36 % increase. Wow. 36 % increase from last year. So we went far above that 500,000 viewers, which I said I thought was a reasonable goal. And we got 562,000 So was the average viewership. So it's a little bit up, a little bit down. But the overall high number was the maximum viewership. number was 672,000, which is amazing. thought, that's something to celebrate. That's something to definitely get excited about and love fact that we're putting that out there. And I think quality of product that they put on the court was worthy of that. ⁓ I agree. think we talked last week, the All-Star just collapsed because ⁓ they went They didn't play safe, which Who knows if I was in those shoes, but I think I would have been a little bit safer. they put up a great performance. Yes. And so it was fun to see. And I'm glad that Americans agreed. A 36 % increase is outstanding over a 12-month period of time from one season to the next. You want to talk about the new mascot you got around here? did you not go in order? I don't know. I my glasses. I'm like in between being able to see under and through. Yeah, ⁓ so mascot reveal for Omaha this last weekend. Her name Starla, which I like name. Are we the only team that didn't, are the Supernovas the only team that didn't have one? And now we're joining the club? ⁓ No, I don't. Well, are we the last ones? Because the Valkyries, the Columbus, the Indy Ignite, they all have theirs. Atlanta? That I don't know. I don't think Atlanta has their mascot yet. Anyway. I don't know. That's a great question that I should have been prepared for. I don't think we're the last ones, because I can't picture Atlanta's or San Diego. But hey, we're in the game. What was she? She is from space. she's a space cadet. She is not from Earth. just of laugh because I'm like, ⁓ she's a little overweight. She's a large. can't put she and overweight in the same sentence. That's like a, Should we cut out or? Learn that years ago. I just am like, that's fine. I suggested I was like, maybe let's put a little crop top on her with maybe a skirt to make her look. To cover up that tum tum or that barrel? Well, no, a crop top would show it. Maybe I'd take that back. would emphasize that? Yeah. But anyway, regardless, she is super cute. She is very approachable, which I think is really important. So does she talk? No talk. I learned recently, that it's like, a law, a mascot law. That's a creed. It's part of their creed, their mascot creed. And let me tell you, they stick with it. They're serious about it. ⁓ I was in the back locker room office that we have with Starla and two other people. And even in that setting, that didn't say a word, even though we were talking to her. They did not speak a word. And I have a fear of mascots. I... I hate, I probably shouldn't say hate, I seriously, mascots make me so uncomfortable. And when I turned the corner to walk into our office, Starla was there. I was like, I'm sweating. Like immediately started sweating. I was like, this space is too small. So ⁓ nothing against Starla. I respond that way with any mascot at all. However, ⁓ will say Starla is very cute and approachable. So I'm not. as afraid of her. I really like her fur. It's like blue and pink. You saw it, right? I did, yeah, from a distance. I missed the introduction, but I did see her. ⁓ yeah, they had a whole video story that went along with it. And Starla got to run in with the hype squad and ⁓ of dance on the court. It But when they're in character, that's a thing. I had a Santa Claus one time on the podcast. And when he's in character, He ain't trying to reveal. I mean, it's all business. Wait, a Santa Claus? Did they talk? They did. We had to do one or the other. He couldn't do it in the podcast if he was going to be the Santa. So it either Santa or no Santa. can't like cross over. And like a mascot or a creed, something that you sign with your life. I guess in a way it makes sense because that's technically acting. ⁓ can't. You gotta stay in character. can't break character. So it makes sense. I mean, just to not even speak sometimes, I'm like, who are you? It just me out. Anyway, talk about there were no transactions this week because there was a transaction deadline, right? The only transactions that would happen from here on out are like season ending injuries. They did put one on there. Did you see that? Flamari. Yeah. with Columbus Fury. Yes, I did see that they officially released her, which I wonder if the rules had changed because in season one, ⁓ I was pregnant, I was only allowed to be on ⁓ injury for a set time. amount of time. ⁓ Yeah, I feel like Flomari's been on ⁓ IR early February. ⁓ mean, went out real early. We only got to see her play in a couple matches. So I don't know if a rule has changed on that, but I was like, OK, if she got waived this week, I'm wondering why that didn't happen sooner. If who got waived? Flamati. She'd just been put on permanent injured or season ending. Is that same thing? OK, technically, it's not the same thing. So if you get waived, do you get your contract? ⁓ your contract? No, so that's why you're right. I should speak correctly. Getting waived. ⁓ is different. It would be like they're letting you go. This is a season ending injury. So therefore you have different rights like with your contract. Two totally different things then. Yeah. But let's talk about some of the rules that the transactions had to be made by the 30th. Even though some of these players are coming from overseas and they can't play until a certain point in time. Yeah. So it's like, is this illegal or are these loopholes? That's the big question that I have because it's a fine line, an illegal loophole. It is because last week when we were talking about these new signees, I don't even know if I mentioned it on the pod or not, but I am looking at these girls as Instagrams and ⁓ hours ago they posted their live matches like they were playing in Italy. I was like scratching my head like how does that make sense? Because you have two contracts at the same time. Simultaneously? So if they were still playing... Are you sure about that or is that just... Yes, I am sure. Even if it's in two different leagues, two different countries? I willing to signed by the 30th, but their contract doesn't start till the 14th or whatever. Well, that's the big question then. Is that ⁓ just a ⁓ Is that like where people are finding this gray area? That's got to be the case. Because I just don't see like looking back at my former contracts. There's always a clause that says like, if you're with us, you can't be with anyone else. No double-dating? Exactly. No cheating on us? No double-dipping. OK. And so that's why I'm just like, how did these teams get this passed? Like, how did this get approved? Because I'm pretty sure that some of these girls are still not here because they're playing in Italy still. So it's very, I don't know. So maybe we should ask our audience if they have any hot tea on what the actual rules of the game are. Yeah, some people are probably like, who cares? Like, why are you guys making a big deal about it? ⁓ I guess ⁓ care because I'm someone, like, I am literally a rule follower at heart. I so when I see something like that, I see it as black and white. OK, but obviously there are others that interpreted this as gray. And so why I have a problem with it. But some people are probably like if it's not if it's not black and it's not white and it's gray, then it's up for interpretation. Why not take advantage of it? Take advantage of the loopholes. It's going to help you down the stretch here. I can see both ways. I just naturally am a rule follower. So ⁓ the bottom line is we need to know what the rules are. because they could be playing by them, we just don't know what they are. The rule is everyone had to be signed by March 30th. technically, it seems like those rules were followed. But that's where the dot, dot, dot leaves the gray area of like, doesn't necessarily mean they have to be here by March 30th. Right. So it's interesting. Interesting, yes. OK, let's talk about, as we're in the MLV hot tea, the Maggie Mendelson. I do not understand what is happening. help me with that. She's been playing great. She played Penn State volleyball. Then she went on to play Penn State basketball in this last year, right? And then she came straight from basketball to the vibe they needed a middle. Was she playing basketball though at Penn State? As far as I know. Okay. If you know that I didn't look it up. told us in one of the comments. Okay. So we're like, so listen, those commenters, they do their research. They know what they're They do more research than we do sometimes. True that. Because this is not a full-time job for us. But anyway, Yeah, some people's full-time job is to be on social media just rage people and chirping. Yes. But so help me understand. ⁓ I can't I don't understand. I'm looking actively like on the transaction page and on the Atlanta social media, MLV media. I don't understand how you can be playing. So this is why Oh my gosh, so many thoughts because NIL now, I think, messes things up. Like, do they even care about pro taking pro money? Because back when I was playing in college, the moment you accept money professionally, you are no longer college eligible. However, I'm not up to date with NIL because clearly I'm outdated. NIL, you make more money. Most of the time. No, I shouldn't say most of the time. what you're reading into this? Sometimes you make more money with NIL. does that, do they just like wave the eligibility now when you take professional money? Because how then can Maggie go play back in college? Now, here's the thing. It's not volleyball. Right. So that's where I'm like, oh, is this another gray area of the rule book? Because she was a pro volleyball player. does that still make her eligible for college basketball? For one more year, for her fifth year? Yes. Or is it about she sees her future in basketball, professional And maybe she'll want to go to WNBA? Yeah. I don't know. I don't know about that. But how you go from Penn State to Pepperdine? May, ah, I got it. The P's? Yeah. You go from Big Ten to, I'm not sure what conference they're in, a mid-major type of conference. Maybe it's because she's getting her degree like what Lydia was doing. Maybe she had a certain degree that she needs to go back to school to get that degree and she couldn't get it at Penn State but she can get it at Pepperdine. I think she just like her masters. Okay, I have no idea then. She's been at Penn State this last semester finishing her schooling. ⁓ what she said on social media. Okay, maybe she's getting advanced education at Pepperdine that she couldn't get at Penn State so then it justified her. Or maybe she's trying to figure out which pro league she wants to participate if it's volleyball or basketball. I don't know. To her credit, she's playing great in the MLB. here's the thing. ⁓ boy. to her. ⁓ options. I mean, that girl has to be managing a lot. she is so young. So I'm just impressed that she can do it. She's in rare air for sure. People that can play dual sports at that level. Right. And then throw in a professional. stint in between and then go back and forth. And getting masters and traveling across the United States. mean, that's really impressive. So. Shout out to Maggie. Shout out to her indeed. OK. Should we talk about the goat? We definitely can. And I think she deserves a shout out. Yeah, there was a lot of shout outs on social media. And what we're referencing is Jordan Larson. Unfortunately, a controversial ending to their season. it? No, I didn't watch it. But I know, I know, I, Laura her Instagram, she was explaining how that's their setter, right? The setter, correct. For Omaha? So, basically, came to sets ⁓ and points. ⁓ I guess was better. But because Austin just won that match, then they got to advance. I don't remember. to head match catapulted them to the full spot. though Nebraska had like the better sets and point ratio or something like that. And so I'm like, man, that stinks. Like that stinks for Jordan. That stinks for everyone. Not, I shouldn't call it just Jordan, but we all know like the gravity of her situation, I guess, is why I called her out. But, Yeah, so kind of a sad ending, but... Or maybe happy for her. She might be glad to be done. But was gonna say, you never know truly unless she just publicly said it, but I would, looking back, I would have rather ended like that than being injured. Yeah. Or even worse, playing poorly. Yeah, and she's been playing good. I've heard from multiple people that, wow, she's been playing the best she's ever played. Like it's, I can't believe she's retiring. She's still got it. She's still got it. And could still play another year or five or 10. go out like that when I'm at my best, which nevermind, it's not about me. So I am happy for her. I think that the transition is hard. Like now that I've experienced it, this next year is gonna be really hard for her, I guarantee. Really? Because she has a clear path moving forward. It's not like she's... It doesn't matter. to out what to do. doesn't matter. Volleyball has been a part of her life, her whole life. And it's been such a huge part. That's even though I had a path moving forward. I obviously am a mom, which is a dream come true. And that's what my path was. And now I'm by the supernovas, which again is something that I wanted. And I had the path laid out for me. I still miss it. I still want to play. I still want to get in there and serve and hit and set and dig and block and kill. I mean, I still want to do it all. Why don't she come play on our scrub league? What do we call it? The scrub league? The holiday, holiday scrub group. I'll invite her next time. Or that. Why don't you guys play doubles or you guys play triples in the sand? Why don't you guys start a YMCA league? ⁓ my goodness. Playing doubles with her. That would be so fun. That would be so fun. ⁓ yeah. I would love it. The fans want to know, is she the goat number one? Number two, is she the LeBron James of volleyball? I think I can confidently say yes to both of those questions. Why? The career path's parallel, right? Somebody posted on all these accolades over the last 20 plus years. I don't even know. She's pretty much checked all the boxes. I mean, I don't know what else to say. Like, she's literally done everything. She's achieved everything. She's Olympian, three-time Olympian. She is, what, almost 40 years old and still playing. Competing with these kids. Exactly. ⁓ I mean, she is... I think hands down the goat. She is the LeBron James. Of volleyball. I would say like year, like world to date or whatever. Worldwide? Like from the beginning of time. ⁓ really? We're to go that far back? Who else could you say? I'm not that familiar. Yeah, I mean maybe there's like a Brazilian. I would see like maybe like a longtime Brazilian. There's got to be like a Chinese. I would only say that I think I would say like maybe China and Brazil maybe have like someone comparable but Jordan is just Go she's the cream of the crop. Yeah, actually don't like her nickname governor. She should change it to go I she should I think she should but yeah, just very proud of her ⁓ I that you know this transition is somewhat easy for her and I do hope that she can find joy in whatever journey is next. Yeah, because you can't play forever. You can't play forever. Ultimately, you're gonna face this some point in time. Now seems to be the right time. I can tell you from experience when you try and live in the past, it doesn't make ⁓ present nice. So have be okay with, you know, that was and now this is Now this is and find the joy in your blessings in your daily life. If there was a rule in the MLV that could change one or two that would make it more entertaining. Just a rule change. How could it not be more entertaining? I think we are far and above more entertaining than... Why make it more? Let's say like baseball, had the MLV and the Savannah Bananas made baseball more entertaining by this or love is obviously a feeder program in a ⁓ league designed to move, matriculate players into the national team. The MLV is not designed that way. It's more family friendly, community engagement, the entertainment factors off the chart. It's about integrating the fan experience with the community, with the players. That was so beautifully put. You're welcome. Why didn't you say that in week one? I just see when it was thoughts at 330 in the morning. the 330 AM thoughts. Same thing when I was preaching. 330 is the time for me. No, that's when the Lord speaks. So if you're sleeping, you're sleeping through his voice. ⁓ shoot. Should I start sending an alarm? So get on up, church. on up. But example, like our league, our Sunday scrub league, ⁓ we rotate. Yeah. So you would... ⁓ Rules that, that could potentially... So are you saying like put those rules in the MLV or create a new Savannah bananas league? A creative... something to now that we know there is a differentiation in terms of the quality of play we've settled on this right? I don't know doc. I don't know. don't know that's taking like a classic beautiful glazed donut doesn't need any change but now I'm gonna put sprinkles on it and change the frosting strawberry and it's like well why change what was already perfection? That's baloney because remember we went to a Nashville we had that cronut thing that was layered up tell me that's not better than a traditional glazed donut. Okay, but you get my analogy, right? I do But to your point then... Are there other things that could make it more entertaining? Because it is entertainment based. Do we agree on that? The MLV? Yeah. Do we agree that the love is not entertainment based? It's not community engaged? It's not... Yes, I would agree with that. I think their sole focus and what they give is their play. It's a developmental league for the national team. Correct? I would, that's a very good way to say it. Yes. But although there are a lot of foreigners in love, a lot. For their national teams then. Yeah. Same rule applies. Yeah. Okay. That makes sense. That was my question. I don't know. I see where you're going with it. It definitely makes me think. I just being like a true, I mean, I don't know. It could even be the substitutions. don't know. We've already. even be. here's something to think about. Maybe they're already on their way to something like that because now in the front row, you can start in your base position. You don't have to start in your actual rotation position. So you know what I I noticed that. So that's like- That's only in the front? That's only in the- Because I asked you that two weeks ago when De'Beer and Anna- That's different. That's serve-receive. I'm talking when you're serving. Oh, okay. When you're serving, you can start in your- base position, you don't need to be in your rotational position. Okay. So two different things. Yes, they are two different things. So I don't know, that's maybe, the needle is moving forward, but slowly, I don't know. I don't know if I would jump right away and be like, yeah, like, let's ⁓ rotate every the same hitter has to be in the front row the whole time. ⁓ would be really exhausting for Let's the back row hitters don't have to stay behind the 10 foot line. That's dangerous. I don't know. You've to get creative. I don't know. Like, Love, last they tried get creative by they had this tournament in Kansas City. they had like a super play. And they just randomly would. a siren out or flashlights and then it was like whoever won that point actually won two points. ⁓ they tried that? Yes and I'm like here I am as a spectator thinking what the heck is this? Now that's the type of stuff I'm talking about. That is not built for creativity. It's built for... I think that has to be separate. I think that we have way too many true volleyball fans out there who would be upset to see something Well, how did baseball do it? Are you kidding me? The Savannah Bananas and those guys are selling out 80,000 seat football stadiums. than the MLB. Correct. That's what I'm saying. I think the MLB needs to stay as the MLB and then the Savannah Bananas need to start. It needs to be separate. Does that make sense? No. You're telling me the MLB you want to see run as the Savannah Bananas. No, I'm just saying. creative, differentiate it. We know that it's entertainment based. Why not make it, if it's great, if it's a great glazed donut, why not put sprinkles on top? And then why not put sprinkles on top of a cronut and just make it even better? I just think it needs to evolve. I don't know how it needs to evolve. See, I don't know. I think the purists out there are going to disagree with you. And struggling. I think I'm disagreeing with you too. I think volleyball in itself is already entertaining enough. No doubt about that. But you're saying you want to make it more entertaining. Now that it's kind of differentiating itself from love in terms of their purpose, least from my perspective. Don't think we're already different enough than love? I mean they're completely separate. that ⁓ we're etched out, why not put it on steroids? Why not blow it up? Why not take it, have a all-star match? Okay, if we want room for creativity, I would be okay with it happening during the All-Star Try stuff. Hey, let's try some new things in the All-Star match. Okay, I'm buying that one. You're reeling me in with that one. I would be okay with that. But to change the whole season... I'm not saying the whole. ...and the whole league, then that's where I'm gonna be like, errr. No, not for me. But if we thinking in order for both leagues to survive independently, this one needs to evolve. Okay. Because this one is set dead set on its purpose. The love is dead set on its purpose. It's a feeder program to the national team. This is an entertainment based. Maybe we need to ask the fans. Like what's the question we want to ask them? I don't know. How could the volleyball game evolve? How could the MLB evolve? I don't know. what did we, you know, in week one we were talking about a merge. What if that happens? Maybe not this next year, but maybe the next year. So if these two leagues merge, half of the people go play overseas again. Period. I think so too, actually. And not the half from the love. Yeah. So the worst thing is they could merge. So if they both can't survive, in order to survive, I think the MLV needs to continue to evolve because they got the fan base. Yeah. They got that. That was a good discussion. I don't know why you... That's what happens in my mind at 3.30 in the morning. He takes a melatonin or something. you can't take melatonin. If you take melatonin, your gland in your brain stops producing it. I don't take it just FYI but okay. Should we leave that for an I'm just saying I'm planting seeds of creativity on the MLB side and I think they're doing a great job and continuing to niche out their market and to evolve but I'm just thinking out of the box because I don't want the merge. Hey hopefully next week we have another conversation when you woke up at 3 30 and we hear more ideas. I want as many professional volleyball players to have opportunities to play professional volleyball in the United States as possible. That's what I love slash what I'm worried about is love that there are so ⁓ girls who get to play professionally now in the United States that never would have been able to play period. Right. But then that worries me ⁓ there was to be emerged ⁓ I think that's going to take away. Right. They either don't play or they go play overseas. Minnesota. Why did I say Minnesota? Think of Omaha. If there is a merge, they're not going to keep two teams. it makes sense, ⁓ going to be combined. Half players are going to be gone. And Omaha, if it did make sense, would be the only place it would make sense. And it still wouldn't make sense. Yes, exactly Whatever that was. ⁓ No, it sense what you said. It makes sense. So anyway, wow, that was a great conversation. I kind of feel like we said a lot. And I would just be so curious to hear what other people think. Right. Because, yeah, evolve or die. But that makes me feel like you have a feeling that the MLV is gonna... I want it to survive. But in order for both leagues to survive, I feel like the MLV needs to continue to evolve like it has done. You know, it started out as a PVF. Started with this many teams. Now it's this many. It's evolving. ⁓ And takes time. I'm just encouraging. I'm encouraged by its evolution. And I think there's a lot... See, we stop where we're at. in terms of the evolution of the game, the evolution of the league. There's so much more that... Did you see the spaceship, the Artemis II, that just went farther in space than any other human has ever gone? No. Are you not tuned in? don't watch the news very much, no. This week, it's the headline of every major news network, every social media feed. I am terrible on social media, and I am even worse when it comes to news. Artemis 2, the rocket just went farther around the moon. Did some kind of lap around the moon. Went farther than any other human has ever been in space before. that's what I want for the MLB. Oh, perfect. Just tied that up for you. Good job. Good. Now you can use that in your next meeting. Perfect. I'll take notes. All right. Let's get into the recap, right? Wow, I don't even know how we should move forward. Let's just move forward to the next match, was, so we're doing the week 13 recap. Yep. Omaha versus Atlanta. Yep. So I ended up, I picked Omaha for this match and you picked Atlanta. And woo woo, Omaha won in four. So it was a great road win. And I was honestly so scared at the beginning when I was, Because I had no idea that three of our players, our starters, got injured. Was it on the website? They don't put those types of injury on the website. And so Sarah Wilhite Parsons injured, Sydney Hilley injured, and Janice Liao. And I was like, you got to be kidding me. Obviously, I have faith in the team. But it just would have been like, we don't see Luca. make a lot of changes. so I just was like, ⁓ no. Are we going to be ready for something this drastic? But out to every single player. They ⁓ their part. They did awesome. They rallied together. I know the game was really led by Brooke Moser, starting setter, the only option. Was that her first start of the year? I don't think it was. second? Yeah. I like, I don't think it was her first. she She led the team and she played very well. So in light of that, is there a setter controversy for the Omaha Supernovas? Setter controversy, what do mean? Like who's better? 1A, 1B? I think, like truly, I think they both have their different strengths. And they both have their different weaknesses. So it's kind of like hard to compare the Slow to play out. Yeah. think at the end of the day, Sydney's always going to have more experience and probably more leadership in a way. But Brooke fiery at times. ⁓ And can really get things going with whether it's her serve, her offensive attack with ⁓ right left hand. Who knows? ⁓ man, that was dope. It was. That was so cool. So yeah, I think that. Brooke did an awesome job. Elena did an awesome job. think she had 32 digs, and ⁓ she tied the MLV record. So I think that Elena is overlooked a lot. I think all the Barrows get overlooked. That's how you know they're doing their job, right? Is when you notice them? When you don't notice them. You just notice that every ball is, you know what I mean? Yeah. It's just like, yeah, that's what it's supposed to happen. do. But that's not. No, it's not always the case. It's not always the case. So thought she did good. Emily did good. ⁓ Honestly, I was like, I'm sorry if this person hears me say this, but the commentator, I don't know what his name was. It was a gentleman. I was like, can you give this girl a break? Three different times he mentioned how Reagan Cooper was going to be the target for serving because she's statistically not the strongest passer. And I'm like, will you cut it out, bro? Because of we all know that. like, we all know that. It's like you're just like, just thought it was an unnecessary focus. But I can't say that I've ever been in a commentator's shoes, and nor do I want to. I think that would be a terrible commentator, because it'd be like, ⁓ She got it up. All right, she's going and then oh, there's a blocking. Now it's oh, point. OK, stop. Point Columbus. Stop. Sorry. Sorry. I got really excited. Yeah. No commentating for you. But yes, Emily Londott played great. Is she the best? What do you call that when you nuke the ball off of the high hands and it just flares up into the bleachers? I don't know if there's a name for it, but she's. You know what I'm talking about? The block's up. She hits high hands. High and hard. Off the top. We talked about this when we had her on here. Yeah, I said you are the best, one of the best players I have ever seen to hit high hands like into the crowd. So you're telling me that's an intentional shot by her. It's practiced. and hard as you can off the tip of the player opponents. Yes, you do drills with like brooms and stuff with that. High and hard. Yes. As hard as you can. Sometimes when you miss, it's a little embarrassing, but it is intentional. Yeah, when you got this backspin and it's 10 rows up into the bleachers. But I'm like, hey, go for it. Did you know that Brooke Moser started her college career at Illinois as an outside hitter? No No idea. Never blipped on my radar. That wrecked my mind. was like, I could see it, though. I can see it, But that's honestly, I'm so jealous because that's my dream. I've always been an outside, but I always wish I could be a setter. wish I could go back. So now you're living out your dream when we play the scrub volleyball because you're the setter? exactly right. Yeah. ⁓ somebody did put this in there. What? It was about the setter attacking. Where? So you bring your libero up. I'm talking about the evolution of the rules and the setter. You having a bunch of attackers. thought it was BMAC. If you have a setter that can attack like that, why not let them attack? Why not have the libero? You have more options. But the libero, technically you don't have more options. If you have a front row setter and you're saying, oh, why didn't the libero come in? The libero can't set in front of the 10 foot line with her hands. No, but she can bump set. But then at the end of the day, you'll still only have two attackers because there's no way a libero is going to bump set a middle. So it's like you just pick your poison at that point. OK. Does that make sense? It does. You're not going to bump set a middle. You're only going to bump set to the pins. OK. So then at the end of the day, you still have only two hitters. So when you have an, obviously she's amadextrous. can hit with both sides. Is center position the best position for her? Brooke Mosier. Versus being outside? Yes. I mean, that would be sick. Can ever played somebody that can swing with both hands? I don't know. No, I haven't. No, I haven't. And I've never it either. ⁓ So I've never like someone... approach the net on the left side and was able to swing with their right and then two plays later swing with their left. I've seen it but it's an accident. It's like you're trying to like save it. Yeah, exactly. that's really impressive. I'm Another evolution of the, ⁓ see this stuff is coming to, how about no back row attack? mean, get rid of that 10 foot line. I don't know. I don't know. We can keep thinking about it. that, can you? I don't think so. OK. But anyway, the Supernovas beat the Vibe. Leah started off with a vengeance, you said. Yeah. It just seems like she always hates Omaha for some reason. Don't know why, but she always gets fired up when we play her. She wasn't able to sustain it through the whole match, so Eichel kind of took over. Yep. Are they missing? Taylor, Swift, Smith? In this match, but it's I think she comes in later. But I mean, are they missing her as a team? They've been looking for that outside. because unfortunately, don't think Pia really came through for them, in this match. So let's move on, because we got weird. Yeah, Phoebe's still playing great, but let's go to Friday's match where San Diego played Columbus. We both picked. Columbus and were actually both rolled with Columbus. thought, OK, this is they're here to just mess things up. But San Diego had a very, very strong week this week. I really don't know what else to say. They swept Columbus. Lowberg led with 15. Rainer led. Columbus with 17 points. Let's move to Dallas versus Grand Rapids. We both picked Dallas. Dallas wins in four. Thunder and lightning. Mimi and Sophie, had 23 points, Sophie had 21, Sophia, to me. I was gonna say, you thought they looked tired? In particular, Sophia Maldonado Diaz. And we talked about this weeks ago. Uh-oh, that's not good. single point of every single set in every single match. We talked about this. She looked exhausted physically. She's not physically, ⁓ know, She's on the skinnier side, very fit, very long. I don't know if she's built for long distance. Do you know what I'm saying? I get what you're saying. Part of me thinks like, is that really what you saw or did you, were you influenced by me saying? said it. I thought we both said it. Like, cause remember a few weeks ago we thought they were rookies, both them and we're like, can they sustain this? But to I think she even got subbed out. I going to believe that at the end of the day, I think they're both gamers. And I think that they're going to do ⁓ like competitiveness is going to come out no matter what. So with Indy and the as we come down the stretch, ⁓ you've secured and second. I don't know mathematically yet or not, but they're going to be first and second. How do you manage that back end of the season with your personnel, your load management? working in different players because you've already secured your spot in the final four. If you have secured your spot in the final four, I as a head coach would definitely be utilizing my bench more right now. Especially. I wouldn't, like maybe I would let the normal starters start the match, but quickly getting those substitutes in because load management is crucial. As we all have seen, it's like every week there's new injuries at this point. every week and in my opinion, I feel like there's more injuries this year than ever. By far. Like double the amount. Right. It's crazy to me. I'm like, what is happening? What does that mean? enough minerals in our waters or what? I don't know, but I just I'm just like, this is really odd that there's so many injuries this year. Like way more than I can imagine or remember from season one or season two. Right. Snyder was out for Grand Rapids. It was good to Maeve in. Yep, Maeve was in. Yep. Always taking full hacks on the outside. She's not. That's her strength. She's not. her strength. Yes. Let's move to the next match. Indy versus Omaha at Omaha. Tough one. You picked Indy and got it I did pick Indy, but I thought it would be more competitive. Non-competitive sweep. was, unfortunately, like when we saw Omaha really rally together and every single player did their part. versus Atlanta. Or even versus the last time we played Indy. No, but I'm specifically talking like two days prior when they beat Atlanta because they had the same lineup. This was not the case. just, no one was really, no one was really producing. And so it was very ⁓ errors that stacked up quite a bit. ⁓ It just little things that unfortunately just, I think was, their demise, but I thought Merritt came in and she actually. match she's played all year. I would agree with that. I thought she did really good. And London had been playing the best she's ever played in her career, then got subbed out. Merritt came in, made a difference. Yeah. And allowed them to hang around a little bit. Maybe to extend the game a little bit longer, but not by much. Again, the Novas still had the same injuries with Sydney and Sarah and Leow. I love how he says that at the CHI. But I just thought Indy was just flowing like honey like they normally do, just very smooth. New middle, came in and made an impact. Clothier. Yep, was in there. So she is someone who I do not see as like that gray area. She signed and she came right away. she came in, I thought she did great. Kara Cressy actually was. She's tall. The very first point of the match, Kara got the set and she's in the air and literally it was just a flick of the wrist and she just hits down in the 10 foot I'm like, wow, that's crazy. That's something. So in your opinion, was this non-competitive sweep by Indy over Omaha? Did that lead to Luca's demise as the head coach or the Omaha Supernovas? Was this the straw that broke the camel's back? It had to have been. What else would it have been? To me, it was when we got punked out in the pink out six weeks ago. That's what I'm saying. The timing is just the surprising part because I would have expected it back then. But who knows, maybe this last ⁓ home specifically, because we have now lost six, seven home that's maybe They were like, all right, we can't do this. We're the best venue. We're the best fan base in the whole league. We can't afford to lose at home anymore. I don't know. OK, let's get off that then, because we've to move into Orlando versus Atlanta. We both picked Atlanta, and we both got it wrong. won in four. I am very surprised by this one. Yeah, what do you make of that? mean, Charity Looper's playing great. Charity did really good. I thought that she did good. Natalie is really like. Top scorer in our fantasy league. She's really having a strong back half of this season. So I love to see that. I don't know. ⁓ just, Brittany and McCromney is back. Was she back for this match? She started and she played every single set, but they did have. Zoe, however you pronounce it, she came in and she hit 500 on 10 swings. What does she do? She's the opposite. she came in. her last name? I didn't write it down. Weatherington? can't remember. But I'm just like, man, that just stinks for all the other teams in the league because now they have two great players and one of them is going to be sitting in the bench. You know It's always good to have two, though. mean. Yeah, it's good for them. Brittany's still That's what I'm saying. But it's bad for everyone else. Yeah. Oh, bad for the rest of the league. Yeah, bad for What's bad for the rest of the league is that Brittany's back. Back again. Brittany's back. Brittany's back. Brittany's back. Just in time for this final run to the Final Four. just time that one up right. Yeah, exactly. And the rest of the league is, unfortunately, not excited about her being back. Right. But Brittany's back. Just with Atlanta, I just didn't see that their offense was flowing. I think as a team, they only hit 150. And Iko was really the only one who was producing and being efficient. So I know others had points, but they weren't very efficient. Was Taylor Swift Smith back in for this one? She did come back for this one. unaffected? Yeah, I think so. And then Leah's been a little bit up and down. She's always going to, like I said, she's always going to produce points. There's only been maybe one or two games this year where she actually got benched. she's going to have points. But the efficiency is what I think matters ⁓ so. In one, she didn't. OK, let's talk about the next match on Sunday. You're having a little beef with it, and so am I. My beef is I couldn't find Vice TV. Whatever that is. You couldn't find it? I know. I didn't watch it because my beef is that this was Easter. we were here last week, why didn't we put two and two together? But I was like, there were two matches on Easter. So admittedly, I didn't watch either of these because I was with family. had to go back and watch the highlights. So I did not try and find it on Vice. But Vice is is an app you can create account. ⁓ No, a 20 bucks a month or something like I'm not. paying $20 to watch this match. Oh, I think it's free. I see. I thought it's seen. I don't know. $19.99. But anyway, we both picked Columbus. Columbus wins in five. It was a reverse sweep fashion. Yeah. That really surprised me. Looking just at the stats and then the highlight reel, Hattie Bray is actually a freshman, or a freshman rookie. We talked about her last week. And I was like, yeah, we haven't really seen her play. You spoke her into existence, I guess so, but she was really like the only efficient one. Four Grand Rapids. Four Grand Rapids it seemed like. you got Raina Terry made it rain points. It was raining points. She had 27 points on the match. Pittman Nelson hit 450 and had 12 points and played really well. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Can we go to Dallas versus San Diego? We both picked Dallas. We both picked Dallas and we were both wrong. And this is my match of the week. I, yep, this was my match of the week too, just cause it was totally unexpected. And San Diego is just a team full of surprises. feel like this year. And I feel like San Diego is a place that teams go to lose. sure. San Diego really has such a home court advantage. And I don't know what it is because it's the beach. It's the beach effect. I've said this before. That is not. the best ⁓ arena to play in. It is not. ⁓ But somehow it works in their favor. And they always like upset or beat someone at their place. I'm telling you it's the beach effect. Again, to my point, looks tired. Well, so what was interesting is that this was the first time that to me it seems like Dallas was sweating a little bit and they had to rearrange. Yeah. So they ended up putting Sophia on the right side ⁓ Kaylee Cox as an outside. Did you notice that? And Cox did good. Kaylee Cox is, ⁓ she just- Versatile. She's awesome. I ⁓ admire and how much, I even said that. was like, this goes to show you how talented these players are because Kaylee has been playing opposite the last however many weeks. mid match, she gets pushed to an outside. Now she has passing responsibility. it's like, that is just so talented and versatile, like you said, to be able to mid match, just switch roles and still be able to, ⁓ know, execute certain skills that maybe you haven't practiced in a while. So I thought that was really cool on her. and then Sophia, it looked like she's been an opposite her whole life. Like I thought she hit really well from the opposite. ⁓ So just goes to show you how talented Dallas, those pins really are. But on the other side of the net, thought Marley quarterbacked a great match. Yep. ⁓ ran the offense well. She got everybody involved. Everybody was cooking. All the burners were hot. This, I want to point out, was a libero match. ⁓ Shada. The battle of the liberos. ⁓ the battle of the liberos because Kylie had almost just the same amount of digs as Shada. And Shada had, ⁓ man. I don't know if I wrote it down. But I remember watching the highlight. And I was like, she is having ⁓ digs, like in crucial moments, like do or die mentality. So I was really impressed with Shada. ⁓ were several extended points that went on and on and on because of the LeBarros, because of the defense that was played by both sides. Yeah. So then when I then in reverse looked at Kylie Murr, was like, she did she made pretty much. I think she was only two digs behind. But still, it's like, Kylie and Murr, think, leads the league in passing percentage. On the dig side, what is considered a dig? If there's a block touch and you get it, is that a dig too? Yeah. OK. Yeah. Because technically, it could hit the floor. So that would be considered a dig. OK. Rookie of the week, we both got Mimi on that one. Wait. I was saying. I wanted to say that Marley, I was like, she's got to be the most efficient attacker in the league. And then I went and checked, and sure enough, she is. She's hitting 430 on the year. The most efficient setter attacker or the most efficient attacker overall? Attacker overall. I think you've got to separate the two, because she's not taking nowhere near the hacks of an outside or opposite. Well, that is true. I think it's skewed. don't know. I understand what you're saying. I don't see how she could be hitting at a better clip than, let's say, Nati or Brooke Moser. That's why it is impressive is because she is hitting more efficiently than them because not only is she more effective, but she's choosing different ⁓ strategically different ⁓ OK. If do a two-hand set dump, does that count for this? If the setter two hand dumps over on two? That would be a kill. OK. A dump kill? Yep. Or a deal? of a big deal. All right. Rookie of the week, Mimi. Yep. ⁓ question about it. Player of the week, the hip. High impact, impressive player. High key, impressive player. ⁓ actually, ⁓ think I'm ⁓ with ⁓ Jones. Despite the two losses? know that they had two losses, but her individual performance ⁓ ⁓ produced a lot of kills this week. And I think she hit over 300 in one of the matches, and then it was like 260 in the other match. And so with the amount of swings that she's getting, I was just like, that's pretty impressive. can buy that. I'm not going to go with it, though. I'm going to go with Maren Groat, the middle out of the mojo. Yeah, so great job. My low key impressive player was Maren, because I thought she I've said that middles are just key players. Every player is important. get that. But middles really make a difference. And I think San Diego had two great wins this week. And she had high efficiencies and blocking. And she even had a couple aces. So I picked her. But I broke my own rule. And I put- That's what I to say. Well, it doesn't say low-key impressive players. I know. I broke my own rule. And I wanted to shout out, shout out. well because I again I was just really impressed her play. My lip is Morgan Lewis I think she's doing an outstanding job on the opposite I think she actually made the difference in that match as the Mojo beat Dallas in five. Yeah. Very efficient very effective. Match of the week I already said mine was Dallas versus Mojo. And I agree with you on that. It was very surprising it was a battle. I thought it was high quality. Got the top team in cahoots. So. Let's talk about the league standings after this week. You got uh-oh, look out. What do you mean by that? Uh-oh, look out, because we have a big change. You got a log jam? What do we got to change? Yeah. Where? San Diego is now fourth, pushing Orlando to fifth, which pushes Atlanta to sixth. But I mean, they're all separated by a half a point, or a half a match, or a match. They're all separated by like, so I know it's like two matches or one match. But it's very neck and neck. That's why ⁓ talked about how these last few weeks are so important, because these 30 through six teams are fighting those last two spots. We should be getting to the point of the season where some of these teams are mathematically out of the equation, and some are mathematically solidifying themselves in the top four. So looking forward to the next week. Let's go. Week 14 preview Thursday, Indy versus San Diego. 9 o'clock on CBS Sports Network. You picked? I picked Indy, but I hope I don't. It's in San Diego? Because it's in San Diego. ⁓ I just got done saying people go. there to lose. But I got to go with Indy. After seeing them just destroy Omaha. In Omaha, I got no qualms. I'm not even second guessing it. OK. Friday, we have two matches. First up is Atlanta versus Columbus, 6 PM on Roku. I'm going with Atlanta on that one. OK. I think I'm going with Atlanta, too. think that they're going to pull through on that. Grand versus Omaha. So this will be Omaha's first match with the interim head coach. Yes, it would. And I'm thinking, saying that the players will rally for the change. We're in support of the change. We're going to rally behind the new head coach, interim head coach Thomas. And I got OK, I'm rolling with Omaha too. Saturday, Orlando versus San Diego. At San Diego again. I got San Diego. OK, that's what I picked as well. Holy volleyball matches. This is busy week. Yeah. Well, Omaha is two matches ahead of a of people. I'm surprised that we're twice this week. anyway, Sunday. Yep. Columbus versus Grand Rapids. Another dog fight for the, are they the seventh and the eighth place teams? Yes, still they are. And I, I. Who won the last one? We just did it. Was it Columbus? I'm going Columbus. Okay, I was like, I don't, I can't think on the spot. Atlanta versus Indy. Indy. Yeah. And then Dallas versus Omaha. At Omaha. So it's a Sunday. It's a Sunday at 4 p.m. Remember that? Yes. Sunday at 4 p.m. It's an afternoon match. Dallas is coming to Omaha. Who's the middles? Who's been playing for Dallas because Van Buskirk's hurt? Well, the last match was Caitlin. All three of them played. it? Savage. Savage. And then the last one is Carson? Bacon. Carson Bacon? Yes. Something like that. Yep. I am going Dallas. I also picked Dallas, even though I really love Omaha. But I just think, will say this, I don't think it's going to be a sweep. I think this one will be a much like the first time Dallas came to Omaha. It was five set. I think that will happen again. That's awesome.
