Pastor Dale: Welcome to Atlin Family Church, Engaged Faith. Hello once again, I'm Pastor Dale with Atlin Family Church. And I do hope you have your beverage. I've got mine and my favorite cup. It says serving with a heart like Jesus. It's one of two cups that was given to us many years ago and yeah, they've survived a few moves, so that's always a good thing. But as I said, you know, I hope you have your coffee, tea Hot chocolate, it is getting that time of year, isn't it? Or apple cider, I suppose. just get comfortable. I mean, if you've been around us for very long or been watching our videos, you know we don't get too formal. Who likes that? You know, it's just a matter of getting together, having a conversation, whether it's around the table or on the the couch behind me, a little further, wherever, downtown. A grocery store along the shore of the lake. God loves connection. He loves communication with Him, with each other, with the family of Christ. that's what it's all about. it's my hope that you feel comfortable with the videos that we're putting out. and you know, as always, if have any questions, reach out to us. we're very approachable. the best way to get a hold of us is AtlinFamilyChurch dot CA. that's all our information about the ministry. It's our website, of course. And you can email us their phone number. typically an email is the best way to contact us. That way, you know, doesn't matter what we're doing, we'll get it at some point and and get back to you as soon as we can, of course. Today I'm excited to start a new five part series. it's gonna be a new video every Sunday in November celebrating our partners in ministry. yes, that's the entire month of November. as I mentioned, grab your beverage beforehand, be ready. I'll be talking about what partnership means, what it what it isn't. that's often a good way to teach as far as what it is, what it isn't. I'll be talking about biblical prosperity there's a lot of different teaching online. There's a lot of loud voices right now that are coming against a biblical prosperity, but the reason is our enemy doesn't want the church to have money. It's that simple. it does take money to keep our lights on. It does it takes money to reach the lost, even in our community. Sometimes people just need a helping hand, and that all takes finances of some sort. that's how God works is He works through people, He blesses people, He connects people, we share as partners. and I'll be talking about all this as we go through the series. So I don't want to get ahead of myself, But as I mentioned, I'm taking the entire month of November. And the reason for that is simply that's what God showed me. I thought about it and actually it's been a little over two years since we started Atlin Family Church. And to be honest, I've touched on prosperity, I've touched on healing. But I've really never dove in and taught biblical prosperity. And it wasn't because I didn't want to. I always seek the Lord as to what he would have us put on for you. And it simply wasn't a subject that he asked me to to teach on until this week. And this week it was here's what we're doing. So here's what we're doing. November is Atlin Family Church Partner Appreciation Month. I want to just start out with, we are so grateful for our partners in AFC ministry. I'll be putting it that way for a bit through this series and just if you haven't figured it out, AFC is short for Atlin Family Church. Just wanted to, clarify that. As I mentioned, God works through people, and that's his way of doing things. So I do appreciate your obedience, I do appreciate your your part in what God is doing in Atlin It's been an exciting couple of years, but it's going to get better. It's going to get bigger. It's going to pick up momentum. And I'll be touching on that in the next few videos. Not sure how far we'll get today, but we'll see. And you know, it's really it is a celebration of you, our partners. It's also going to be an introduction to our ministry. You know, if you've just came on to find our channel. Great. Hello. Welcome. and you know, it can take a while to get to know people, especially ministries, like who are you? What do you teach? are you strange? I am bald, I will put that out there. the strange part is still, yeah, some people depends, you know. The jury's still out on that. So what the Lord has put on my heart, having November as also an introduction to our ministry, like I'd mentioned, you may have just found our videos, somebody may have invited you or shared with you. God can get your attention in a number of different ways. So I invite you to watch all five videos through the month of November and then pray about it. there's never any pressure from us We're here to serve and to teach. that's our hearts. but if after the five videos and you get to know us a little bit better, you get to hear some word that I'm hoping that you've heard it in the past but it didn't click or maybe somebody taught it and didn't quite have the full understanding of biblical prosperity, that's okay. That's why we're here. there's a lot of messages online, there's a lot of churches that don't get God's biblical prosperity. we're here to bring clarification, And share the things that we've learned over the years. We didn't start out knowing it all and we still don't know it all. But what we do know we like to share as teachers of the word, of course. And so, yeah, just hang out with us. That's that's what I'm saying. All that to say that. And that way you'll get to know us, get to know what we teach, And, after that, if you have any questions absolutely, reach out. at any time. I have a lot of information to go through today. I'm not sure how far I will get, let's just get into it. I do want to extend an invitation to join us in ministry. I'm just gonna come right out and say that as a partner. I kinda touched on it, but in the next five videos we're really going to talk about what we've done, what we plan on doing, some of what God is talking to us to do. so and of course that takes that takes money. That takes people with a vision. That takes people with anointing in their ministries that come alongside of us. I mean partnership isn't always about money. it's working together with all resources, all anointing, and having him work through the body of Christ together so that we can do more corporately than I can do by myself or that you can do in your ministry, whatever that may be. So yeah, you know, I can't say it enough. there's a lot of work to be done in Atlin as there is around the world. so, let's just make this a time of prayerful consideration to what your part would be, as you may join us. in this partner series of videos, you'll learn the ins and outs of Atlin Family Church. We're totally transparent, what we're doing in the ministry, and what the Bible saying about finances, about biblical prosperity. And that is a big part of it because if we don't get God's way of prospering his children, we're gonna miss it. If we don't get positioning as a Christian we're gonna miss the prosperity he has for us down the road. And I'm gonna get ahead of myself if I am not careful here. But it everything works together is a beautiful big puzzle. And when the pieces are all put together, the door opens for his blessings according to his word. And he has a lot to say about finances. So, we're gonna dig into it, find out what that is. I'm excited. I'm hoping you are. It's yeah, it's one of my favorite I know I say that every time. It's one of my favorite subjects. Every subject of the Word of God is my favorite. You may get that. you know, if you hang out with me for a while. It'd be amiss of me to only talk about what we're doing at AFC and you know, what what a great service it is to the community and you know, and really market us. that would just be simply wrong. and so that's why I'll be talking about what it means to be a partner, what God's word says about finances, as I've mentioned, biblical prosperity, why it seems some Christians are blessed and some are not. That's a big one. You know, a lot of people judge the effectiveness of God's word based on looking at other people. Not a good way to go because you don't know what's going on with those other people. you only see a very small outside image. we're always to go to the Word, see what the Word says, get it into our heart, renew our mind, and then we can walk it out. And if something's not working, we go to the Lord and say, Lord, where am I missing it? When we look at others, that's a very poor judgment of the Word of God. we're all human. We're all on different journeys. We're all going through different things. So the best way is to to get it inside for us and then we can show those other ones that seems like they're not prospering. They're not walking in the fullness of the word that we see. That makes sense? So, you know, again this month's not going to be just about celebrating partnership, although that's a big part of it. So thankful, so grateful. It's teaching true biblical prosperity. it is a big part of God's word. It's his heart. He you know, honestly, he cannot do anything unless it's through humans. And if we don't have the full knowledge of the way he does things, it limits God. I mean Wow, right? So it is a big deal. And the quicker we get it, the quicker the church gets it, the quicker we reach the loss, or quicker we wrap this thing up and and you know, our Lord comes back. there's a lot riding on each and every one of us being exactly where we need to be, knowing what we need to know and doing what we need to do. I believe this is Very timely and when the Lord put it on my heart, he's showed me the the full month, just really break it up and spread it out. we're going to do what he said he wanted me to do and just really dig in, see where it goes. I love restudying for myself as well, because sometimes we can get off the path. Sometimes we can have the world, mess up our thinking, number of different things. So, you know, when I study again, it refreshes it for me I'm learning as you're learning. we're on this journey together and we are so honored to be in ministry with first of all Jesus, but then our partners. You're an equal part as a partner. You enable us to do more. You enable us to fulfill the Atlin Family Church mission, which is if you haven't read the the website, It's simply to reach more people and more specifically to equip God's people to do his work, to build up the church, the body of Christ, that's our mission in a nutshell. we're here to straighten out wrong doctrine. we had many years that we believed wrong. we didn't know the word. the word says that my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. Hey, that was us. we've been in a few different churches. We had a mixed message, we didn't know for sure what we believed. God's word isn't hard. Religion is. And church rules is man's tradition is that's all hard, you know, but when you know the true word of God, we can rest in him. And so that's our whole mission equipping the saints. It's part of, preparing you for your ministry. straightening out things that you've picked up over the years. the world has a adjenda to throw you off track. You know, the enemy's out there, he's working against you. So if he can give you bits of information that sound pretty reasonable, it doesn't sound you know it sounds cute or it sounds effective, many people will take that bait. And it'll just throw off a little bit and then maybe they'll get more information. It'll throw off a bit more. if we don't know the word of God for ourselves, then there's no way to sift through the messages and the loud voices of the world. It's that simple. But as we get to know the word, as we renew our mind, then we can just say, you know what? That I just heard is not true. Scroll on. That's our new way, right? We just scroll on. It makes organizing the information or not organizing 'cause there's something we don't even want to keep. It it makes evaluating the the information is a better way. When we always have the truth of the word of God to go back to, that's our baseline, right? And so we can measure everything else, all other information based on the word, and that keeps us grounded. That's our foundation. that's our hope as Atlin Family Church to help you get to your foundation, to get to your grounding place. And then you can enter the rest that God has for you. you can start to hear his voice clearer. enter your ministry 'cause if you're a Christian, you have a ministry. Everyone has a ministry. it's just are we hearing his voice? Are we taking that step of faith? Are we engaging our faith? I do hope you are. getting back to the partnership, we could not do what we do without your consistent and continuous support. And that's not just in finances, but in your prayer as well. We Atlin Family Church needs lifted up in prayer, that we continually have his wisdom, protection, we live in a dangerous world. your prayer part of partnership is praying for Atlin Family Church and reciprocal. that's our partnership with you as well, that we pray over our partners. for your prosperity, for your protection, for your wisdom, and we pray in the spirit, because we don't know each and every one of you all the things you're going through, that's the benefit of praying in tongues. We pray out the mysteries of God on your behalf. we pray the things that we don't know. You know, as the word says, we pray in our understanding, but we also pray in the spirit. So Again, it's a two-part blessing. You bless us, we bless you. God blesses both of us. and we can't outgive God, his blessings are always going to be, in front of us as we're walking in the path he would have, and much larger more than we can imagine. Blessings. Absolutely. so again, thank you. It's such a blessing to work alongside of you. and I look forward to, you know, after this month more joining that start to hear the call of God maybe he's saying he wants you to get involved with your your giftings, your anointings, your finances. So yes, that is part of it, absolutely. And when we all come together corporately, he puts all of the gifts that he's given each one of us together again so we can move forward and do more larger projects, meet more of the needs of the local community. And I'll be touching on some of these things soon, in this series, things that we've done, of course, I just want to bring you up to date, but also what we're gonna be doing. Pretty exciting. So hang in there. Stick with me in this series, of course. if there's something I haven't covered, you know, just reach out. Send me an email and we can certainly let you know what we're doing, maybe have a question about our vision or what we believe. let's start by talking about what true ministry partnership is. there's a lot of strange ideas about partnership. some churches call it membership and that typically puts some flags up for me. Often with membership there's certain steps or I sometimes have said hoops that you need to get through to work your way up in the church or that organization is a better way to put it. because, as we know, the church is not that organization or that church that you're going to. The church is simply born-again believers that believe the word, believe that Jesus died for us. He went to hell, rose again, is now alive and seated at the right hand of the Father. So everyone that believes that is part of the true church, part of the body of Christ, part of the bride of Christ. And so that corporate group is who Jesus is coming back for. He's not coming back for denomination. He's not coming back for people that have devoted their entire life to try to become a top leader in a certain denomination or a certain church group. That has nothing to do with it. I'm sorry guys that you know you've put in a lot of time in your life doing that. But With God it's a heart issue. It's as simple as that. It's all through the word. We need to decide to believe what He did to make that way back to Him. Nothing to do with what man does on this side of heaven concerning our churches and and our rules and regulations. I hope that set somebody free. I know it certainly set my wife and I free when we first heard it. and then it became so clear in the word that man is the one that makes the word of God difficult. it's so rich when we just start to read the word and asking Holy Spirit to explain it to us, to give us the revelation, the wisdom that we need. It just it comes alive. it is alive, as the word says, but it it comes alive to us. It starts to speak directly to us and our heart, our spirit. and that's when life gets excited. It really does. So as I mentioned, I will be teaching on what partnership is, but I also want to say what it's not. And I know when I first mentioned it, most likely today, or as people watch this video in the future, as I'm talking about partnership and biblical prosperity, it pops into your mind it's to make the pastor rich. that's the enemy. He does not want the church to prosper. He does not want pastors to have the money to do the the vision or the mission that God has put before them And if he can get people that God has blessed, swayed a little bit, doubting a little bit, then that's his job, right? And so it is not to make the pastor rich. There, I said it out loud, exactly what some of you may have been thinking, and I'll touch more on that mindset later in the message of course, but it's a pretty loud voice if you go online and you put in partnership or financial prosperity, prosperity message is another one that just brings up yeah, so many voices against it. and I don't wanna get ahead myself, I will be talking directly about that in a bit here. the voices are very loud because the enemy does not want the church to move forward. And as I've touched on before, partnership is not just a one way benefit. You are an equal part in the ministry, absolutely. And you'll receive eternal rewards for your work, your obedience to God on this side of heaven. So, as you step out doing what God has asked you to do, engaging your faith in all the scripture, all the promises of God and what God has spoken to your heart, then the blessings come to you. it's not just one way, it's not just for Atlin Family Church, it's for you as well and the people that are in your circle of influence, of course. I'll go into this deeper in these videos to come but It's God's way of getting finances into your hands. He wants to bless you. But if you haven't positioned yourself to receive, then it just it may not happen. I'm not gonna say that it won't happen, but more oftenthan not, it won't happen. You know, we need to be in position, our heart has to be right, and we need to be willing, obedient and and doing what he has asked us to do. And some people when I say things like that, they go, that's a s like a slave arrangement or or relationship. No, no, no, no. You you've got it all wrong then. God loved us so much, even when we were still sinning, that He came to earth He was tortured beyond what we could ever imagine. He died on the cross, went to hell, and everything he did, he did for us so that we could come back to him. That was true love. Even when we were nasty people. When we get an understanding of all he's done for us, then obedience to him is a natural response. It's like, you know, a loving father, like, Lord, you know, I love you so much. I want to be a blessing to you. I don't want to disappoint you by not doing the things that you would ask of me. it's a beautiful relationship. don't ever look at it as God using and abusing you. He wants you to to follow his path because he has more than we can ask, think, or imagine on that path for us. He has all the tools, he has all the anointing that we're gonna need to do what he's asked us to do. He has, yes, prosperity for us. You're gonna need money to do what he's asked you to do. God will always ask you to do things that are bigger than you are. That's just God. But he's never short on his side. He's never stingy. I'll be teaching more on, the circle of blessing all throughout this series. So just in case you're wondering, I'll be teaching on the the full biblical prosperity. God's concerned about our finances. if we're not receiving what he wants us to receive, we can't do what he wants us to do. To begin the study and really introduction to partnership with Atlin Family Church, let's look at core elements of biblical partnership. In Christian ministry, partnership needs to be intentional, it needs to be joyful, it needs to be willing, and we need to apply our faith. We need to engage our faith, as I always say. And really partnership has been observed and taught for thousands of years. It's not a new teaching. the extent of the loud voices against it online, you would think, well, this is something new. it's relatively new movement. it's throughout the word, and even before the New Testament. Abraham was blessed beyond measure. right from Adam and Eve Adam and Eve had everything they needed, full prosperity. And they were fulfilling the call of God on their lives until they messed up. But you know, they're human, right? and most of you know the rest of that story. we've heard it online, the prosperity message and Certain ministries or certain people will share their opinion and they use it really as a label and it's in an attempt to trash ministries that teach the true biblical prosperity message. The whole word of God is a prosperity message. Okay, I said it. If you haven't already figured that out, then really we need to get into the word. when we're sick and we receive health, we're prospering in the area of divine health. When we don't have what we need to eat and food comes in, that's prospering in the area of meeting our needs. And yes, when we don't have the cash in hand to pay the bills and then cash comes in, that's God prospering us to continue through the life process and hopefully doing all that he said, all that he's asked us to do in our ministry as we do this thing called life the word partnership is often translated from the Greek word koinonia. Probably not saying that properly, but it refers to two or more believers, churches, or organizations united in a shared commitment to advance the gospel and serve God's mission together. I've touched on different aspects already, but that puts it all together. And it's so much more than having a contract or an arrangement or transactional sponsorship. Biblical partnership is defined by shared vision, mutual responsibility, and reciprocal relationship. And that's where a lot of people miss it. they may feel, hey, that's a good organization. I'll throw a few dollars at it. But you're missing the whole concept of partnership. Get involved with that organization. If you're feeling a pull to become part of it, then yes, your finances is part of it. But get involved. Find out what you can do to help them move forward. AFC's no different. we have much more to do that God has given us than my wife and I alone could ever accomplish. His vision is for the family, Atlin Family Church. And so you have a part. So some more core elements of ministry partnership. It's sharing local gospel mission, of course, the the Word of God, but it's sharing Atlin Family Church mission, uniting around a common purpose, expanding God's kingdom, serving local community, supporting global missions. partnership is a two way relationship. It's involving shared prayer, shared encouragement, accountability, practical assistance with each party. it goes beyond financial sponsorship. It encompasses fellowship, solidarity, and of course this is locally and on online. You you can be a partner from anywhere in the world. And you can be a partner from our local community here in Atlin. It's the same connection. you know, as you give your finances, you're getting the same rewards from the Word of God, here in this life and for eternity. locally we have the advantage of meeting face to face. I get that. But with our ministry we're also online. So, you know, now we have Zoom meetings or Google Meets, whichever one you want to use, we can still meet face to face and do different projects no matter where you are in your community, your part of the world. whether that's across Canada, we have followers and I'm gonna say hello to people in the United States and countries around the world, some that don't even allow the gospel in. I wanna especially say thank you for following and we're praying for your safety. We're praying that God can use you in your local area and that he's glorified in all that we do corporately together. Right? When we go through life together, it's so much more exciting. So what is the biblical context of partnership? we've talked about some of the general aspects, but the biblical context, the foundational example of ministry and partnership is found in the New Testament. it's the Apostle Paul's letter to the church at Philippi, and it it reads, I thank my God. Every time I remember you, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And that's Philippians one three and verse five. in this passage, Paul acknowledges Philippian church, not as a passive church, sounds like they were engaging their faith, not as pew warmers, but as active co laborers through their prayers. through their financial support, shared commitment to his missionary work. this scripture exemplifies Christians who have engaged their faith to accomplish more together. They're simply doing Christianity on purpose, right? They're simply doing and sharing what the ministry is doing and, striving to accomplish for the kingdom of God together. And we all know how much Paul accomplished. partnership was a pretty big deal to him We don't see in scripture where Paul abused partnership. He just he so appreciated it and we see the results of when people come together with their resources, their time, their energy and their faith of course to move the kingdom and the ministry forward. partnership is what makes the vision of Atlin Family Church work. It's what makes the ministry work. it's what opens the door for you to receive the blessing that God wants for you. It opens the door for the blessing that God has for Atlin and for the online community. because people are obedient, because people take their position, because people share of the resources, finances included, then God can be glorified. God can be shown to work strong in our lives when we all do our part. and looking at the time we'll close it today with a few scriptures, Let's read third John chapter one, verse two. I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. God's concerned about your your prosperity, He's concerned about your health, everything there is about you. God cares. So if you didn't already know, and I touched on it, but God has a lot to say about finances. He has a lot to say about the stewardship of finances that He provides us as Christians. And Atlin Family Church believes and we teach I teach, my wife teaches The word of God concerning finances, our health, And as I mentioned in the scripture I just read, I'll be teaching biblical healing again in the new year. if you're struggling with sickness today, you know, I encourage you to reach out. let's stay connected. we can start on the journey together sooner. It doesn't have to be the new year. God wants you well today. But you know, just putting that out there. Let's read Deuteronomy chapter eight, verse eighteen. You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant, which he swore to your fathers as it is to this day. It's God that gives us the power to get wealth. we can we can earn a wage, but true biblical prosperity is far more than the wage we earn. It's far more than the economy the area of the world that we're living. God's prosperity is not affected by what's going on in the political realm, or the economic situation. It's far above that. I'm gonna go ahead and quote to finish today Andrew Wommack he puts it in such a good way. financial prosperity isn't God giving you money. He gives you the anointing that enables you to prosper. The real asset is not money, not the house, not the car, not the physical tangible things. It's the anointing from God to produce wealth. The real asset is the favor of God. Money isn't prosperity. Money is the byproduct of prosperity. And many Christians fall into the trap of measuring prosperity by the amount of things they have. True prosperity is relying on God as your never ending source. Well said, Andrew. And so with that, I'm going to be closing today because of the time. I do encourage you to join me next video. I'll be going through some of the things that Atlin Family Church has accomplished so far because of your partnership and some of the things that the Lord's been putting on my heart in the future, which is really exciting. join me again next week. we'll be getting into more prosperity teaching. the true prosperity teaching, the truth of the word of God. the videos are always online, they're archived. So if you can't make Sunday at 10 AM when I post the videos, you can always go back later. that's why they're there. we look forward to seeing you again. Thank you for joining me. Have a blessed week.
