Dr. Dean Alley PhD: All right, Chaplain Dean Alley here. I had a moment. Hope you're doing well. Had an opportunity. the day is over for me. Thought I would just kind of go through chapter eight of Genesis. We've been kind of going verse by verse, trying to answer some of the questions, and just to unravel some color in the actual scriptures, which is extremely important for us, and let's just recap a couple things. Where we started out was our basic questions, which were in the beginning, right? Who created all these things, heavens and earth, we learn that, creation of light. We go through these different situations where we talk about the f you know, each day, you know, fourth day we know the sun, the moon, the stars, things on that line, if you recall, in some of the past videos we talked about. Talking about Adam being the first man. We had some conversations around the first charge as the covenant and what the purpose is on earth. We talked about not only the first woman, Eve, which we didn't know her name, but we'll we will learn her name as we go. Temptation, the basics of the birth, the corruption, both the godly and ungodly. Know Cain and Abel, we go through the Seth, that is the lineage where Jesus comes from. We talked about some of the s civilization, where God's seed. We're gonna read we're gonna read a little bit here in a minute. And we talked about the gr the corrupt godly line, which we know is Cain. then we got into talking about in chapter six was all about Noah and you know, the 120 years to build it. Sure you had help. plenty of people had an opportunity to Come to God. How do you not say? And they all thought he was off his rockers. Folks, that's what I see today. If if I go to somebody and they got a million dollar house, $250,000 Riker boat, $40,000 dock, driving EVs and have Mercedes or whatever, and I knock on their door and I say, Hey, Chaplain Dean Alley here. And then I say What do you say or what do you know about Jesus? You know you need Jesus as a Savior? What do you think the response I get nine out of ten times? Sometimes they just want to be nice, but most of the time, no, I don't need him. Look at me. All of that is gonna be dust and moth. That's not gonna be here. It's gonna be burnt up. You know, wood, hay, and stubble you hear how God's gonna burn that up. I say it all the time, you will not enjoy it. how many people do you know that own businesses that work 24-7 and they pour everything into it? Because they think that's what's gonna be successful, they could pass it on. Folks, that's not gonna be a success. You will not enjoy it. You'll give it away. Whatever you earn, whatever you buy, whatever it is, you're gonna give that away. So putting your hope in money, I heard a lady the other day on social media, she's he she a the guy asked a simple question. What motivates you or something? And she said, Money Well, the Bible's pretty clear about not loving the love of money is the root of evil, all evil. she looked like she was going through some rough rough spots. So Certainly does need Jesus. So we talked about you know the human race, the scat the the scattering, and then let me go to Chapter 8. We're going to talk about some things and then we'll get into the the gist of things. Alright, so and the word of God says, not Din Ali, and Noah remembered, or God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark. God and God made a wind pass over the earth and the waters a sawwaged, which means to deplete. So they've been in this ark for a little while, and God starts to make that water start to go down. And if you remember, and I I'll call it here, the fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped. the rain from heaven was restrained. So get the picture. You know, the water that was coming up and the water that was coming down and that wiped everything out is now at a point where it's starting to subside a little bit. And the word of God says and the waters return from the earth or from off the earth And continually after the end of the hundred and fifty days. So 100, if you get the picture, 150 days, they have had nothing but rain, right? And the waters were starting to abate, they were going away. And then somebody said to me that well, how do you know the ark is is on Mount Iraq? Well, let me read verse four for you. And the ark rested in the seventh month on the seventeenth day of the month. upon the mountains of Arat. Pretty clear there to me. And the waters decrease continually until the tenth month in the tenth tenth month in the tenth month on the first day of the month we're seeing the mountains or the tops of the mountain. So they're starting to get to see through that one window that they have and We know that that 150 days is the same period we saw in seven in chapter seven. Remember chapter seven, verse twenty-four tells us and the waters prevailed on earth a hundred and fifty days. So it backs it up in verse three. Mount Arat, just so you know, rises about seventeen thousand feet above sea level. Okay. And through the reference here, the mountain of Arat, which indicates a range of the mountain. Not necessarily the peak, just a range. And it says the ark rested on land seventy-four days after the end of the hundred and fifty days. So it's now gonna rest another seventy-four days. And then he says, and he sent forth a raven, okay, and which went forth to and fro. The waters were dried up off the l earth. And he and basically the raven came back. Also he sent out a dove and from him to the waters that abated to of the face of the ground. But the dove found no rest on the sole foot and she returned unto him. I'm sorry, I said the raven, but it was the dove that came back. And he says here, he says that for the waters were on the face of the whole earth, then he put forth his hand. And he took her and pulled her in unto the ark, and he stayed yet another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove. So he's trying it again, trying to see if he could find out if they're that that they could they could leave the ark. And he says, out of the ark, and the dove came into the evening to him in the evening, and lo or look, and when you see the word lo. He's talking about in her mouth was an olive leaf. Plucketed. Off. So there was a broken olive leaf. Olive leaf typically, you know, is the the peace sign and all these other things has a significance. But so Noah knew that the waters abated from the earth, because he she he now has a piece of the earth. That was God's way of letting him know. And he stayed yet another seven days or yeah, seven days, and sent forth the dove which never returned. So Never came back and he was gone forever. So the r so so to say this, the raven, which is in verse seven, the raven is kind of a scavenger, right? And would have no trouble finding food and no qualms about perching on any kind of slimy surface or anything. so apparently it did not return to the ark. So it was the raven that never came back and did not return. So he stays another so he sends out the dove, it never returns anymore. Then it says, verse thirteen, and it came to pass in the 600 and first year, right? The first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from the earth, and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry. So you get in the picture here. they're getting to a place where they're getting ready to get off. They've been cooped up, they've been restless, they've been shut up, they've been confined, almost like imprisoned over this period of time. So I'm sure they're ready to get off the ark at this point. in the second month, on the seventh and twenty-first day of the month, was the earth dry. So Noah and his family were on the ark 377 days, or Maybe fifty four weeks, fifty five weeks he w they were on. the ark. And Noah's and God spoke to Noah, and he saying, Go forth of the ark, that thou or you and thy wife and thy sons and wives with thee, bring forth thee every living thing that is with thee of the flesh, both fowl and cattle, and every creeping thing and the creepeth upon the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth. Start replenishing and be fruitful, multiply upon the earth. And Noah went forth and his sons and his wives, and his sons' wives with him, and every beast creeping thing, every fowl, and whatsoever was creepeth upon the earth, after every kind went forth and sent out. it it's radically changed because of the flood. If you could think about this, confronted Noah, the things are different, you know, the whole situation he's coming out, he's been in a situation with more of a hostile environment. The longevity had decreased the habitable land and the areas were reduced and oceans were more extensive and the crust of the earth made unstable and the subject of the seismic activity and the land was barren. So there is a complete shift of what the land looked like or what earth looked like when he came out. For all you scientific people. So God's telling he's he's he's he's he's basically he's he's done something here. So so the oceans and was extensively it was removed. And then it then it goes on to say that in verse 20, the events that came after the flood, Noah built it An altar upon the Lord. Remember, they sacrificed in those days, going back to the sin atoning of Adam and Eve, they sacrificed those sins. It was a propitiation. We know what the New Testament brings. We know, of course, it's the Lord Jesus Christ Himself that will come and be a propitiation. So as we are learning through the Bible and we're learning bits and pieces of where we are in this dynamic here. We're finding that when he did this and the Lord smelled it and it was a sweet savour, and the Lord said in his heart, I will not curse what he say the ground any more for man's life. For the image basically at this point, for the imagination of man's heart is evil from youth, neither will I again smite more everything living as I've done. So he repented, if you remember. he repented and got to a point where he said, I'm never gonna do this again. I'm never gonna do this again. This is the way it is. I'm I'm gonna Not going to do that. And he said, While the earth will remain seed time and the harvest and the cold heat of the summer and the winter, the day and night shall not cease. So he's talking about seasons. We're gonna learn about seasons now. So he's establishing so the sweet smell savor is letting you know that it was a satisfying smell to God. God God was now satisfied with that pleased odor of basically smelling that altar and he establishes the seasons. So this is where we get the four seasons at this point and we get this little this little narrative here. So let's just kind of go through a couple things as we walk through Noah's situation. You know, can you imagine the the torrential and the heaviest rains Basically They they were hearing, they saw the rain, it struck the earth, there was just so much going on. we could imagine being caught up in the middle of a quake and quakes and more quakes, subterraneal waters breaking and and caverns and lakes and all that was going on on the outside. And we were learning, listening and reading this book that they were inside this ark and they were hearing this and God was reshaping the world, if you will. So the forty days of the earth erupting, the torrential rain had to be a scary time. I know my dog, where's he at? Every time it thunders, he runs and hides, he shakes very bad. He's afraid of the thunder. So imagine how loud this was and what they were dealing with, you know, and it had to be a terrible time. And but we know the flood which represents God's Mercy God, the flood is God, the mercy is the ark, and Erat, the mountain, is what we learned the first scene after they come off that ark. And God rem you know, he told him to start pulling the animals off, start to pre procreate. God remembered Noah, right? He remembers Noah and the animals, and he had mercy and compassion on them. He's not gonna make this happen again, he's not gonna do it again to him. And i it's so important to to recognize the message here that you know God will save us. And scene one, God remembers and he removes Noah and the animals from the ark. Scene two, Noah's great facient patience and faith with that sacrifice. So when we start looking at the cause of the wind and all these things, the evaporation, all that Can't even imagine how that is, but we know a all-powerful God could do that. so the waters returned of the earth and they began to withdraw, and basically it was at the end of the hundred and fifty days, right? So we learn that God rested on the rested the ark upon some of the peaks, not all of it. what's a peak? It's a mountain where the ark sat on, basically. And it does not say in plural. So the mountains of Arat. this is a mention of the mountain range. So it's something to think about when he talks about it's the present nation. where is this place? This place is in Armenia. This is in it's in Turkey, in ancient Assyrian kingdom. This was in the Assyrians, which were very bad people, by way. this was their dwelling place, this is where. They were, but then we see where God gave Noah and his family the sight, basically seeing those mountains, and we see that in verse five, and the Hebrew points out that the waters were decreasing fabric very f very rapidly. And you know, so when we start thinking about stuff in this this eight this chapter eight, note that the exact times were given when the the ark was brought. To safety. as Christians, we're told when the fullness of time come in, God sent forth his son to redeem. We learn this in Galatians, right? So Galatians will tell us in chapter 4, verse 4 and 5, but there is there was and is a preparation time, and for be God's people to be brought to safety. And as it points to, God remembers his people, and that's why. When I talk about appointing to wrath and all these things, God's gonna remember, He casteth his casteth all your care upon him, right? Peter five, seven. I think of I think of let not your heart be troubled. Ye believe in God, or you believe in God, also in me, talking about Jesus, in my father's house were many mansions. If it were not so, I would have I would have told you. I go in a prepare place in John one fourteen, one through Who tells us that? And personally, I don't think we're gonna have mansions as the church. I think when you look at John, John's being speak spoken to, that's the Israel's, but it gives you a thought process of what Jesus was going to do for his people. Gives us kind of a a precept there. and knowing the fullness of time that's coming in, and under the law, God has set forth his spirit and his son. The spirit is in us. And I would think too the other thing is God delivers his people through some tough trials. Are you in a tough trial? It's said you are either going in one, you're in one, or you're coming out of one. But you will go through trials of this life. Sometimes the journey is long and it's hard. Even Noah, his was too. And you know, I think God still delivered him through all of that from suffering of this life. And the reason is we just trust him. Trust him as Noah trusted. Noah trusted God and God delivered him. This is the reason Scripture clearly calls out that tells us to have joy and rejoice through these trials. God delivers us and saves us. Philippians 4 4. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I say rejoice. Paul's giving us clear, clear definitions. So the other thought I would come out of this chapter would be God can control nature. He controlled what? The rain, the the rain, the wind, the storms on the earth. He can control the trials that we're in, we're inflicted in upon this situation, the nature or even in man, when it is his will to do so when he fulfills his purposes. Folks. I gotta tell you, there's lots of people in different places and different camps today. I don't know where you are. We're all in places, but I could tell you this. If you put your faith, hope, and trust into Jesus and rely on him and continue in the faith with him and do his will. Well, what's his will? He wants you to pray to him a lot. You want you to read the Bible a lot. He wants you to be with like-minded individuals, a lot. He wants you to show the fruits of the spirit a lot. I mean, these are things are pretty overt and you can see And people choose not to sometimes. And we're in our we I've said it before, this world is a cynical world, very cynical. And we always think the worst thing, don't we? look at that person. How many women look at another woman and go, look at what she's wearing? I mean, we are judgmental, we are cynical, we are a nation or world that's continually getting worse. And I think of these days of Noah, as in the days of Noah, such will be when the man son of man comes. We see that in the gospels. He's telling us he's going to come back. And everything that you read in the Bible and the I said on something the other day about talking about there was just there was thirty-four different Old Testament prophecies that were told. over sixteen hundred year period that have already been fulfilled in the New Testament, simply put. Coming true. The whole Bible is about the kingdom of heaven. That's the theme. The theme is the kingdom of heaven. Returning back to what we were, the kingdom of heaven, and having that relationship with God. The other part to that is the theme is what? To get to the kingdom of heaven, you gotta have Jesus. Jesus is the only way. I'm the way, the truth, the life. Nobody comes to the Father except by me. That's John 14 6. I'm telling you. That you have got to do that and it's not easy. You'll have trials, we'll have testing times. Same as the story here we see with Noah. Same situation. Are we truly trusting and wonking? Now, I did put a post up about the shaming thing. There is a lot of charismatic. There's a lot of people that use loud music, microphones, I call it sensational lighting, you know, the purples, the blues, the whites, and really making everything sensational and and loud and and building people up into a frenzy. It's almost like going to one of those rave parties. I don't know if they even have them anymore. But when I was growing up, they had rave parties where people just get themselves in frenzy and dance all over the place and get all that stuff out. It's almost like going to a rave party in some of the aspects. And then what happens is Some of the leaders, shame on them, will start saying, Okay, well you're not you're not getting the blessing or you're not being healed because your faith is blocking you. You're not doing the things that God wants you to do. And there's some truth to that, but they shouldn't be shaming you. Every child of God is a child of God. And I see that. And you see it a lot. I mean, there's evangelism out there that, you know, touch the forehead, they fall down and all this other stuff. That's That is false prophets, folks. I said it in my in my post. People out there that are sensationalizing the word of God. I'm asking you to be a free thinker. I'm asking you to take this Bible and rightly divide it, read it for yourself. You don't have to know everything. Make notes. Little notes in there. I don't know what that means, but what's that word mean? Make some notes. I mean reach out to me. I'll help you. We'll do a Bible study, whatever you need. read it. rightly divide it for yourself. No matter what I say, use the Bible to discern that. Use the Bible and the scriptures to discern what is true and what is not. As we get more and more in this world, AI and the fakeness and all this stuff, how do we discern is that true? I don't know if that's true. I always say, maybe. So don't get caught up into the whirlwind of the charismatic and belief system and and going crazy and jumping up and down and and I've seen some horrible videos people jumping up on on the pulpit and people falling on the ground and the whole place going crazy and almost like a rock concert or a rave concert. I've seen that at funerals people think that that is God. And a lot of people that see that aren't clearly rightly dividing the scriptures. They're They're getting into an emotional high and using that. Now, am I telling you that people don't speak in tongues today? I am not. Am I telling you that God can't do anything in faith today or do things? I've seen things. The Holy Spirit can do anything. God can do anything. Says it in Matthews, with man it's impossible, but with God it is possible. So I'm not debating whether or not all that happens. I'm saying that you You serve an orderly God and it's very clear and it's laid out all through scripture, right? Creates the world in order, lays things out in order. Everything has order and a form of control. It's not let's jump up and down and go crazy and scream. And I know I'm picking on those on those evangelists, the Benny Hins of the world and these these T V promer preachers. First of all, it it upsets me because I think as a person that studies the Bible to give back and help people understand, these guys get on there and want your money, prosperity. I feel somebody's somebody's gonna get a blessing today and you know, and then and then if you give this amount and you're gonna get that, I mean I think I think of that. I think there's certain people out there, I don't want to get everybody mad at me. And I don't want call out all these names, but you know who they are. When they start asking you, Steve Jensen wants your money, folks. Stop, stop, time out. God doesn't need your money. Okay? He wants your heart. He wants all of you in your heart. And you can serve him. And it doesn't have to be with your purse strings, like some of the other religions. I know there's people here in Elizabeth City, and there's church denominations. I counted like 16 on I think Route 17 in a short. Time, but they are popping up everywhere because everybody has a disagreement with whatever the the the previous pastor said or the scripture says or the denomination says, and there's so many breaking up. I can't count so many different today. I'm telling you to be a Christ follower, I'm telling you to be Christ-like, I'm telling you to be a Christian, I'm telling you that. should follow Jesus. That's that's it. And believe on him. Have faith and trust in something you can't see. You do that, you continue in the faith. Not I'm a good person, I donate to Salvation Army on Christmas. No, no. Or hey I put this X amount of money in there and I did this or I bought these pews or put my name on it. Folks, that is a man-made thing. Period. Now there's people, don't give me wrong, they're generous and they feel like they need to give. I'm not saying they don't. And there's certain churches that need certain budgets and things to survive. And I'm not saying not the tithe. Old Testament required one ten percent. Old Testament, you give with your heart. You give out of love, charity. That's how you display. Now if you don't have it, that doesn't mean go in debt. Because what does it say in the Bible? Don't go don't be in debt. Don't owe nobody anything. So if you're giving and you're going in debt, folks, that's the wrong attitude. It's a heart attitude. God knows it. Just remember that. So don't get hoodwinked, thinking I gotta do this, I gotta do that. When you get to that place, you're in the wrong place. And if you're not reading, and if you're in wherever that it is, and I when I say go to a good Bible-based church, it's a church that preaches the gospel, preaches the Bible. every single week and is talking about salvation for people. The people that are members and charter members, they they've already committed themselves to this organization providentially there to support it. That's that's part of whatever the creeds they fall under or whatever the the thing. Their job is to go make disciples. Did you hear what I said? So if you're Continuing in the faith, and you're sitting in your church, I don't care if you're 80 years old, your job is to tell people about Jesus. You're to make disciples. What does that mean? It means you're gonna tell somebody. You say, Well, Chaplain Dean, I don't know how to tell anybody anything. I'm look, what did Jesus say? If you're ashamed to me, I'll be ashamed of you in front of the Father. You should have that boldness that's talked about coming boldly in front of the throne of God. You should have that boldness of Jesus. Now I'm not telling you to be a fanatic. I'm not telling you to go crazy. I get called fanatic, by the way, all the time. I do not, I'm not a fanatic. I study the Bible. I ask for God's direction in my life and how it applies to me and how I can be better and better serve people in a great way. So again, you gotta find a good Bible-based church. If you're in and about the area of Elizabeth City, I got a great one I'll throw out there. Harmony Baptist Church out on what's the name of road? Corporate drive. Go out there, Pastor Marvin Miller, his wife, his family are godly people, heartfelt. and they preach the gospel. They preach the word of God. That Bible is open. If you're going off to this whatever ceremony that nobody's talking about the scriptures and they're reading church father stuff, the the diade or all this other stuff. And it's nothing with the Bible, folks. You're not being fed. You're not getting the information. Now, again, there needs to be discipleship. You need to be going out there telling people about Jesus. I'm telling you, you can't come on my property without hearing the word, are you saved? If something happened to you today, you know where you would go. I I do the best I can with anybody, and it's choices. People have choices. So you gotta tell people. You have the hope and joy inside you. You have Jesus. You should want to tell people. And I'm gonna tell you this: if you have family, you want to see them again, especially if you're a mom and dad, you want your kids to come with you, you gotta teach them. You gotta teach them what the Bible says. You cannot fall in trap with the what this world is because Satan's glad. It's a terrible, sin cynical world and environment that we live in. So, anyways, moving So the significance of Noah that placed upon a day of worship should speak to us. if we neglect worship, okay, the very day God Himself set apart for the concentration or concentrate upon Him is to rest and seek Him. Why do you go to church? You go to church not to hear the music, not to hear the the eloquent speakers, not to go hear you know, all this other rhetoric around what you go to hear the word of God, you go worship the word of God the way it's designed, and you go and be with like-minded individuals that want to tell people about Jesus. That's the important piece. stay out of the man made stuff. Stay away from it. Discern it. Read the Bible. Don't take my word for it. Spend time. So that's the day you rest. Day of rest. Now, people get all twisted about is it Saturday, Sunday, Sabbath? Look, work six days, rest. So if you're working third shift and your week starts on a Tuesday, and you work the first six days, and then you have to have, you know, that Monday is your seventh day, and that's the day of rest, that means you're not doing any of the normal work. What does rest mean? Rest in God. Rest in the Bible. Rest in prayer, devotions, spend time with meditation. Let it soak in. Take that time. Break away. Don't do the normal thing. What's the rest day is not doing what you do the other six days. That's just my my two cents. Anyway, so it's important. So you got to think about those things. You got to set that apart. Noah, he sends out this raven. he's a scavenger. Think about it. The raven day scavenger. So and he he He could he could find food floating anywhere. And I was listening to the other day, Black Ravens, they were really making some noise out in the backyard. I don't know. So, you know, the dove is a bird that stays closer to the ground than most birds. So that was another reason why the dove was sent out, because they're they're human nature or not human, but the the instinct that that type of bird flows or flies on a lower case lower part of the the ground would probably find something, which he did. He found that he found that olive branch. then we learned that the tenderness of Noah and the dove when he returned, he came to Noah. he literally flew and landed upon his hand. we learned that you know, different parts of reasons why God does things. We don't know always know what is an increase in joy, what are some things that you know help us each and every day. It's great faith. What is faith? Something believing in something you can't see. That's the great faith. And But through it all we know that go that Noah he was faithful. He was faithful through through and through and comes out and he worships God he on the altar, right? So what does he do? He gives a sacrifice. That's what they did in the Old Testament. That's how they appreciated and they did sacrifices. So we see that. So you know out of these experiences, you could picture like the dove carrying an olive branch as a sign of peace, right? You heard me say it when I was reading it. It's a sign of peace. I extended with the olive branch, right? This is goes all the back. When we see this all the way back in Genesis chapter eight. You know, twenty day twenty nine days later, Noah removes a portion of the top of the ark and he looks out and the water had completely recessed and the earth was visible. It was drying out. It was fifty-seven days after that, before he completely dried out. But we learn that this is that 150 days of the water remained on the peak, and then 150 days probably was a hundred Probably around five months, maybe, I don't know. But you know, flood brew you know, f second month, seventeenth day, notice how specific it is. the seventh month on the seventeenth day, it the the ark rests on Mount Erech's range of mountains and it talks about specifically the the tenth month of the first day. I mean if you just sit and go break this down, it all comes together and it all comes very clearly and you see it. So it's a new world. It's a new day. He's out now. the earth has basically been broken up, waters changed, caverns, all this stuff. the the downpour for the 40 days started changing things in life. It covered the earth. every living person and animal being drowned except for the few survivors that were on the ark. so you're being stuck in that ark, and the ark strikes Mount Eric, you can hear it. And it then it starts to settle. You imagine the thoughts that go through your mind. and you just put yourself in that position and it it gives you what God did. He gave Noah and He sent him forth into a world to begin what? A new life. And long-awaited instructions, and we see that. So God is faithful, He is faithful, and God's long-awaited faithfulness. Remember, we talked about before while they were building the ark. That that rain didn't start till Methuselah, the longest living person, 900 some odd years before and then he dies, the rain starts. That shows you the the the long suffering that God has for us. I often wonder when he's coming, but I also know that as we continually get evil and more evil. Time will speed up. Maybe in my lifetime, maybe not. Doesn't matter. My hope is settled and it's settled in heaven with Jesus. So they had to go forth. bring forth all the animals, tell them to what? Reproduce the earth, and the survivors. And God did not forsake Noah and his family. There had been many times over the long days of terrified judgment when they feared that What would happen to them? They didn't know. They were just told to get on the ark. But God was faithful. He's faithful to that day. He's going to be faithful to you. Being confident of this very thing that he which had begun a good work in you, right, will perform until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1 6. So the other thought I would throw out there too is Noah. Been almost a year since God had met and spoken with Noah. He didn't really speak with him when I was going through all this all this stuff. He was busy, busy. blessed are those which hunger and thirst after what? Righteousness. For they will what be filled. That's what Matthew five, six tells us. This is all part of our obedience to what God wants us to do. Be obedient. Noah was extremely obedient and he lived with his family and he's part of the stepping out of the ark. I mean he's part of replenishing this devastation of words, probably barren, I don't know. but you can only imagine what he had to think. but he knew he had a great purpose and you have to know you know God's plan for the earth. Which we we're learning here in the ol in the in the in Genesis and we're gonna learn in Revelations when the new earth is the new heavens come. And w you need to know what God has planned for you in your life. And you have to be open to that. so anyways, that that's my thoughts on on that guy. So worship he did the burning of Sacrifice and You know, you think about what God wants. He wants us to come to Him and allow Him to do a work in us, a good a a goodman in us. And You know, Noah once he built that all that that altar, what do you do? He began to worship. You go to church, you begin to worship. he offered that sacrifice. God's presence. He was long approaching with God, and praising God. He was he was continually asking God for forgiveness. He was asking of these things. He was thanking God, he was praising God, he was renewing his commitment and God will save all the true believers. It's a heart thing. And He has delivered us from the terrible judgment of the future fall of man. He conquers. Remember, Satan gets the keys t to hell and death, which is the number one fear of Americans today or any person. And When Jesus died on that cross, he goes to hell and gets the keys of hell and he takes it back and he conquers death through the resurrection. See where I'm going with that? So now God owns it and that's why it's so important for us to submit to him, because he has got it back and there's no need to be afraid of death. I'm not telling you to go jump off a building. I'm not telling you to be a in a situation where you're his word. but just have to understand you know, the the covenant, you know, that God sets. it's it's a great pleasure with Noah's sacrifice. he he he what did it say? He the s sweet savor is what God said. It was pleasing aroma to him. So he was pleasing God and doing the things that he or God was asking to do. And he was pleased with that offering. And Lord resolves not to renew the judgment in the in in that is based on the acceptance of Christ, but the real propitiation is in the mind of God, was the sacrifice.
