Such a fun movie. I haven't laughed in a week. Okay. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Are you okay? Yeah, I'm fine. Well, that's good. I'm glad to hear that you're doing okay. No, it's a great movie. I for I had forgotten how fun it was. But give me it. But I did. Do your shitty take. I did. Here's gonna a shitty take is incoming, but before I give you that take, here's an overview about Deadpool and Wolverine. It came out in 2024. It hit it sits around two hours and ten minutes. Starring, of course, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Wesley Snipes as Blade. He made a name for himself. Yeah. I thought you were. Retired. Retarded. Retired. and a slew of many more people. What a fun movie this is. Deadpool's peaceful existence comes crashing down when the Time Variance Authority, the T VA, recruits him to help safeguard the multiverse. He soon unites with his would be pal, Wolverine, to complete the mission and save his world from an existential threat. Peaceful is a funny way to put that. His peaceful existence. Yeah. He don't exist peacefully. I've been holding this pouch for a second. I haven't put it in my mouth yet. Put the fucker in. I'm gonna put it in my mouth. And I'm gonna try it for the first time. And it's fun because I've already got another lip pilly down here. Shikhmilly lip pilly. Shikshmilly lip pilly. I've been lip pillying it up these days. Yeah, I'm an addict. I that's yeah, that's I mean, I figured that goes without saying. Yeah, I'm an addict. Yeah. Yeah, it sucks. But I like it. Like I a lot. I ordered 40 cans last time. You know what's great is with Griffin moving back, we could just make giant orders and split them. On my account, I want the points. Well, we should rotate. No. We should rotate. We shouldn't. But think about if you spend like if we spent six hundred dollars on pouches and split them not six hundred, but like five hundred. I feel like you guys go through quicker than I do though. I have one in all the time. I do too, but I forget it's there. And when I don't have it in, it feels weird. I was chewing as I can't. I get a headache. I was chewing gum once, and I forgot that and I was in a meeting and I forgot that it was gum. And so at the end of the meeting, the gum was down here. That's some weird shit, dude. That's not good. Well, it's like when I was chewing it and got sidetracked by the meeting. I don't even chew gum. I forgot, right? Just put a pouch in. But I forgot that it was not a pouch. And so my tongue pushed it down to the bottom corner of my mouth. You know, sometimes I sometimes I fall asleep with them in my mouth and I wake up and chew on them because I think it's gum or food. The other night I did that. I started chewing on it. I was like, fuck. It's like I I I I bursted that shit open and everything. I had to get up and wash out my mouth. That's poison, by the way. Can't really eat those. Yeah, you shouldn't. No. I've swallowed a few I tell you, I don't know how many are sitting down here in this old tummy of mine, but there's plenty. I've swallowed a few. Middle of the night, man. Just wake up and go You know? Not good. It's good stuff. I swallow them usually because I have them in my mouth and then I eat and then I'm like, they'll be good up here. They're not. I never eat with them in. I do. Never. I don't want to pull them out. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Never pull out. Feel me. Hey. Yeah. Check out this tall boy, Dr. Pepper. Dude, I'm addicted to these too. Mm. That crisp. What did that sound like? This episode is brought to you by Dr. Pepper. It's not. It's not, but it should be. It should be. I drink more of these than I do water. So ASMR. I hope they can hear that. Maybe not because the editing software cuts out a lot of shit. Well, that's a good thing. Mm-hmm. So I noticed that you have never clipped my fart in the last one. It didn't it didn't catch it, did it? No. Well, I'm gonna make sure that from now on I'm gonna put the mic to my ass. All right. Well. Shout out Jordan and Corey. That was their idea. Really? Yeah, put the mic on your ass every time you fart. Well, I also have other people use that mic. Why'd you have to do that? Why'd you have to say that? What's that noise? It's my damn watch. It's so loud when it vibrat I have it on max vibration because I can't feel anything. That's not good. Yeah. So Deadpool and Wolverine. Deadpool and Wolverine. Deadpool and Wolverine are in it. I used to think it was Deadpool versus Wolverine. Kinda. It was. God, that fuck that fight in the damn conda Odyssey. Yeah. I forgot how intense this movie was. God, it's so they fought for like hours. Yeah. So funny. Gubernatorial. Yeah. That's so funny. I for yeah, I saw it like, I don't know, three times when it was in theaters. Okay. And I hadn't seen it since just because I kind of burnt myself out on it really quick. And then I watched it again and shit hit. It's a real fun movie. I was eating firehouse subs while I was watching it. But you know what? here we go. Some dog shit incoming. I You know, I just don't really like it. No, I do like it a lot, but I think that there's a lull in the movie. Like there's a there they could cut like 20 minutes. Wow. They could cut like 20 minutes out of it. Probably. And it's around the time that you meet dog pool for the first time. That dog was disgusting. What was that thing? It's gross. It's like the Ryan Reynolds was like, we need the most gross-looking dog of all time. That's exactly what happened. What up with the guy in This is good. Yeah, it is. I told you Frontier. This is all good. Avatar Frontier. I mean Alp Frontier collection. Not sponsored, but they could be. I am a user and abuser of them bastards. Yeah. What is your favorite scene from the movie, do you think? Gubernatorial. The Honda Odyssey fight? One more word. Give me one more fucking word. Gubernatorial. What does that word mean? It's some legal term, I think. Jamie? Can you spell it? G U B Natorial. if you type in G U B, the second thing that comes up is Gubernatorial. Yeah. Gubernatorial is a comedy line from okay. Got it. It's a form of adjective relating to a state governor or the office of the governant. The joke works purely because it is a bizarre, overly formal, and goofy word to use in a tense, violent standoff. Well, yeah. That's funny. That's there only because of that movie. Everybody looked that up. I looked it up as soon as I was like, what the fuck does Gubernatorial mean? Yeah, if only Gubernatorial was a business. I thought it was some yeah. Then they would have gotten some. Welcome to the Gubernatorial Podcast. Huh? Not bad. Not bad. If this was only a Marvel podcast only, that would not be bad. Holy crap. But it's also not an easy word to search. Just keep wearing these shorts, man. Take the hat away. It's okay. No one knows. No one cares. Cross your legs more. Okay. That's not you hear that? There's those thunder thighs clapping together. This is not what people want when they listen to Deadpool and Wolf Rain. Maybe it is because this is a very Deadpool esque that's true conversation. This is true. That's true. This is true. You know what I'm saying? You feel me? You know what mean? Yeah. All of it. Feel me? Where are we getting food after this? I don't know. You know what I'm saying? I I do, but I don't know where we're gonna get any food considering I can't walk. Yeah, you can't walk. He broke his foot. I think I broke my foot today, guys. Because it fucking hurts. What if we did a live Google search to see like if my foot's broken? Go. How would I know if I broke my foot if my foot Sudden severe pain, immediate immediate swelling, and inability to put weight on the foot. Okay. Well, that describes pretty much everything I've got going on. Are you swollen? I think so. I feel swollen. I was swollen when I watched Deadpool. Okay. All right. It wants to know how the injury happened. I was going down the street He was saving a dog from I miss getting ran over in the street. Let's see what Google's Gemini AI tells me. Missing a step is one of the most common ways to break or severely sprain an ankle. It's probably sprained. Real talk, no cap. Try to take four consecutive steps bearing weight on the injured foot. If you cannot walk four steps immediately after the injury or right now, you need an X-ray ASAP. Okay. press the inside bone. Find the bony bump on the inside of your ankle. Press the back edge and the lower tip. Bony tenderness always suggests a break. What are we doing? damn, dogs are coming out on screen. Buying pressure doesn't really feel make me feel anything. Probably sprained. Probably. Or did you just ice it? Or you just have a case of pussyitis. I knew that was where it was going. The dogs are coming out. But anyway Anyway, the movie. Deadpool is This is gonna be a big deal for I feel like it's gonna be a pretty big deal for Why the hell am I blanking? Doomsday. my god. No, because We d do we know how Gambit gets out? No, we don't. No, I that I tried to figure that out and I don't I I was gonna watch some breakdown shit, but I figured we'd just do it here. Yeah, I that's a good question. I'd forgotten to write that one down after we And if Gambit gets out, does Blade and Electra get out too? Right. Like how do we know that they're dead? And I know Deadpool and Wolverine will be in the first scene. You think you're pretty confident about that? Did you not see the leak? Yeah, but it could be we've gotten so many leaks. Remember the Spider-Man leak that turned out to be completely true? It looked totally like and Toby was in a CGI costume. Yeah. He's wearing the Iron Spider like we thought. Yeah, I don't know. You know what I'm saying? I'm I'm starting to get to the point where I'm not believing any of the leaks. AI's too real. It's creepy. And like people, you can post something on social media and say, I've got the first scene of Avengers Doomsday, and you break it down like I've seen so many of them. And it could go viral. And then they someone writes a news story about it and then it goes viral. So like Half the shit that we like, we might truly have no idea what happens in this movie. I don't think we do. We yeah. I really hope the first scene does happen, though. I want Toby on that screen. Yeah, but if that's true, he's gonna die. Probably. They can't kill him. They can, though. They can't. They may they may they I'll just leave. I don't think you won't watch the rest of the movie. I don't think you will. I think I will. But let's talk about Deadpool and War. But so I walked away and I had three questions, now four because of the chanting but because of the gambit and now Blade and Electra, like all of those folks. Do they make it out of there? How do they make it out of there? Probably the same way they did. Maybe they find that little ring thing. That'd be a shitty explanation, I think. Yeah, but like I I think I heard somebody say that one point that there was a deleted scene that shows Gambit getting out of there. shit. No, I don't know about that. But like there's not like I stayed till after the credits because I thought at one point that it was like an after credits scene shows Gambit getting away. But there's no scene that shows him getting away. Just Johnny Storm. Just Johnny Storm going on around. He's dead though. He goes he's definitely dead. Yeah. There's no there's no hope there. He did say I don't care if she rips my skin all the way off to my bone and kills me right there. I didn't catch that. He said that. Exactly. And that's why she did it like that. Cause and it turned out there was a camera too. So she knew already knew that he talked shit. Talking shit with? Imagine if you could do that to people who talk shit. That'd be terrible. Anyway. Okay, so this says in a deleted scene shared by Ryan Reynolds and visible on a background monitor at the TVA. shit. Channing Tatum's gambit walks through the aftermath of the final battle in the void. A portal opens up, reflecting a glowing glowing orange light in his eyes. He smiles and he has a way out of the wasteland. Yeah, I'm excited for him. The The movie does not explicitly reveal who opened the portal for him, though the circular shape indicates a sorcerer rather than the T VA time door. Hmm. Hmm. I can't wait to see him fight. He's cool. I mean he's a good fight. The fight I forgot how badass he could be. I think it's dope that they're including him. I think so. Cause do you know the story behind Gambit? Yeah, and then he made and Deadpool breaks the fourth wall again over and over and over and yeah. It's almost like they it's almost like you really, really, really wanted to be included, but it never quite worked out. my favorite fourth wall break was when they said that Daredevil and Punisher and all those people died. And then he says Deadpool says the Electra, he goes, I'm sorry. She goes, That's all right. Yeah. Because nobody liked it. Well, not even that, but So Ben Affleck was there. And they used to be married. Yeah. Her h so maybe that was where that line was coming from. That's probably what it is. That's better. You know what I'm saying? Feel me? Yeah, I do. Man's obsessed with his feet. Well, like I saw a picture of like what it looks like if it's sprained versus it being broken and the I can't see that side of my foot. But I'm kind of nervous because I'm supposed to go out town in like three days. You can limp through Vegas. All you gotta do is park at a blackjack table. Yeah. You're fine. You spend 48 hours there. This happens to me. Like, can I just be negative for a second? Go. This shit only happens to me when I have something fun happening. Like I either get sick or I fuck up my foot. You got the squirts. Yeah. No, like no joke. Like Things like this only happen when I've got something else that I'm looking forward to coming. Like it's so annoying. You're being tested. Maybe, but it's bullshit. It is. So what what does God want me to do? Is he want me to cancel my trip to Las Vegas? He wants you to persevere and go win your house payment. Yeah, win enough money to cover my hospital bills. Maybe that's why. It's so dumb. It I j I so dumb. It piss it it makes me more mad than like. If my foot was actually broken, I don't care. It just is gonna make it hard for me to live my life for the next little while. Six months. I think it's a long recovery for a broken foot. God bless America. God bless it. I need to find a doctor. You're not in the NFL, so it's not gonna take I'm gonna text Kelsey, our cousin, and be like, I think I broke my foot. Yeah, do it. Do it. She'll be like, nah, you just got pussyitis. my morning cleared up tomorrow, so I might just go to the emergency room right away. We haven't talked about Deadpool at all. Yeah, probably not. Okay, so I do have a question. We talked about Channing Tatum. You're right, you're right. dog pull. So there's a scene at the beginning of the movie where he has this job interview with Happy Hogan, right? How did he get there? How'd he get there? Yeah, I don't know. That wasn't explained. Not at all. Not a bit. How I mean And like some of these questions I that I wrote down, like it's a Deadpool movie. So I should just chill out and not ask so many questions. But you should though. But how did he get but how did he get there? I bet we'll find out. I there's no way they won't tell us. They they they don't just do things like that without explaining it. No, are you sure? No. Think of all the prose credit scenes that we've gotten that never went anywhere. But they all went for that was all building towards Kang. And then they had to Yeah, but Kang was still gonna be like the finale of the multiverse saga. So they were still gonna be exploring multiverse things. Hmm. Hmm. What were the two Avengers movies that got scrapped? One of them was the Kang Dynasty, and what was the other one? I don't know. We can look it up. Kenny could have looked it up. We need to look her upper. We do need a looker upper. He'll hear this. The two Avengers scrapped movies. Did he get there? Kang Dynasty Okay. think he got there after the events of No Way Home, like like Venom did for about five seconds and introduced the symbiote into the world? I don't know though, because like there should be an in-credit scene for that somewhere then. There should have been. Wasn't there? The in-credit scene of Deadpool should have I'm tired of Marvel doing these jokey scenes. How did I do that while I rant? I'm tired of Marvel doing these joking after credit scenes. Like I'm all good for a good movie, but then the theater crowd always groans when it's a joke. Yeah. Like, stop giving us these bullshit scenes and actually give us something. Like, I don't even care if it doesn't connect to a future movie. I want it to explain some of the unexplained things. They're saying he used the device, cable's device to it's not only a time travel, it's also he he used it to he modified it. To cross between different dimensions. Dead Wade Wilson modified it. He's Tony Stark level genius. Well, I mean, Cable wasn't too smart either. Yeah, but like I'm I'm thinking like, okay, so you're telling me you're telling me that Deadpool figured this out, but it took a whole team of people to figure out how to time travel and endgame. I think there's a lot of dumb shit that goes down in look, Kenny's calling. Almost as if almost as if he knew that we were doing this right now. He does know we're doing this right now. So answer it live. Nah. Okay. I just don't understand I just don't understand how he got there. Yeah, it it well that's what I mean it says that I don't understand. Well. I'm Googling it. We can cut out we can cut out Dead Air. It says the cable. I don't know. Yeah, it says the journey to Earth six one six at the end of Deadpool Tool. Tool. Negasonic Deadpool Twilight Warhead. Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yu-Gi-Oh Fix Cable's Time Slider. Wade's Okay. Wade j Wade uses the device to hop realities and visit the Avengers compound at six one six. And then Wade uses the same device to travel back to Earth 1005 or 1005 and promptly destroys it to live a normal life as a civilian. So I I just don't underst like, but tell us that though in the movie. Tell us that I, you know, as you know, the first part of the movie he's narrating, I used Cable's device to travel over to different universes to see if I had potential. Like that's something he would do. I tried to go and see if I could get in on the Avengers team. That's hilarious. But he didn't. Like give us that. Like show me a montage of the end credit scene of him using the device to bounce between different realities. Because how did he bounce to the different realities to find the different Wolverines? Was that using the T V A stuff? yeah. T V A the homeboy gave him the the little device. Didn't give him. Yeah, true. He broke his nose for it. Broke his nose and took it. Then he dipped out. And then he dipped. That freaking guy that was HR guy. That guy was so funny, man. He definitely wanted some. He definitely wanted some Deadpool. What are we thinking of? The guy that was like sitting in the corner and he's like that he that guy knows what I'm talking when he put on the new suit. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. It's hilarious. Yeah, I just Maybe maybe I'm dumb and I'm missing things throughout the movie, but I'm just like I I could use a little more explanation here. Yeah. Like I I want to know how he got there. Like I wanna see him get there. And I know we know now. Maybe we will. Maybe. But like he destroyed it. Deadpool 2.5. I hated Deadpool 2.5. Two. Yeah. They did another Deadpool movie and they made it PG 13. I didn't watch it. And it like narrated by Deadpool. I walked out of the theater. I did not watch that. I don't do that. I knew I would hate it. It was not good. It needs to be R. Yes. Err. You'd think Deadpool was a pirate that sailed the seven seas. R. Dead pirate. But yeah. Okay. Nice pool too, dude. I gotta give an honorable mention to Nicepool. Regenerate? that's fun. I'm gonna live. Ryan Reynolds just had way too much fun in that movie. Dude, it he's a gift. He's a gift to our screens. He is. So funny. Here's another question that I have, and I think countless people have. And I think we will get the answer to this. This is White Sox jersey, yes. This is what I think we will get an answer to is why was Thor crying on the screen with a half shattered Deadpool mask? We're gonna see that. Because I think Deadpool will die. But that that was old Thor, though. That was like Thor. Holding Thor. That was like the scene from Dark World. Right. Yeah. No, the first one. No. It it was Longhair Thor, though. Yeah. And that was like old. Right. Maybe that's just another joke. But what if we Right, it could be a joke. And or it could be another multiverse where instead of holding Loki at the end of the dark world, he's holding Deadpool for whatever reason. Deadpool can't die. He can though. How? I don't know. Nobody knows. I'm not a comic. Nerd. He can't die. he got blown to smithereens. What if Deadpool dies in Doomsday or Secret Wars? Probably. Like, what if so I heard this rumor in Secret Wars that Doom, of course, Doom will win at the end of Doomsday, and he creates Battle World. And then his police force in Battle World is called the Legion of Thors, where it's just a bunch of Thors from different dimensions. And what if one of them Is not so evil. And what if there is a fight and Deadpool dies and Thor is crying? Why would he cry? He doesn't even know Deadpool. Right. See, I I just don't there's a lot of shit that they throw at you in this movie that you're just you I feel like we're supposed to be like, whoa, how's that but it's all dumb. It's all bullshit. It could be, but it could not be. It's Marvel. Yeah. But also like I I like to think that Kevin Fige wouldn't just throw in a video of Thork holding a dead deadpool. Holding a deadpool? Yeah, a dead dead. You know what I'm saying? So there's that question. And then here's a third question. This is maybe the most discussion prone thing here. This whole concept of anchor beings, I think that's really important. I think that's why they include Deadpool versus Wolverine on the list of really required movies to watch. Cause I don't think it's they're saying that we need to watch Deadpool and Wolverine because Deadpool and Wolverine will be in Doomsday. I think that they might they're either gonna be in Doomsday or Secret Wars, or maybe one's gonna be in one, one will be But it introduces the anchor being. But it introduces the concept of the anchor beings, of like If your reality doesn't have its anchor being, then it will die. So how does that affect incursions then? So, like, let's say you take, like they all say, opening scene is gonna be the X-Men versus Toby Maguire Spider-Man fighting to save Toby's or the X-Men are gonna be trying to f kill Toby so that his universe is the one that collapses. So what if incursions are caused because Toby dies, and so his world then dies. Or the X-Men die. Right. And so then their world dies because somebody in their universe is the anchor being. Who's the anchor being for? Well, we know that Logan is the the anchor being for his universe. And we know that we know that well we don't know this. Clearly, Tony Stark is not the anchor being. To Earth with 616. That's true. Because it's gotta be Cap, right? No, it can't be Cap. It can't be Cap. It's So what if it's Spider-Man. Spider-Man. It's definitely Spider-Man. What if it's Spider-Man? So There's a I'm gonna counter that. I could say it could be Spider-Man because there is also rumors that there's a scene at like towards the end where 616 is gonna be going through a similar thing and it'll be Punisher, Tom Holland, and a bunch of ground level like dead daredevil will be fighting on the ground for I don't know what for I I g I but yeah we'll see. I don't know. So like what if Tom Holland Spider-Man is the anchor being for Earth six one six or Nick Fury. Because Nick Fury is still alive and he's out that's true. But the moment that Nick Fury dies Does the universe collapse? And how long does it take for a universe to die after their anchor being is dead? They said a long time. And that's the whole point of this movie is because he sped it up with that time machine thing. Interesting. That's a great thought. And so then, like, is what if Doctor Doom is the anchor being to the Fantastic Four universe? And when he leaves, that's when their universe crumbles. So then they'll be present in the modern day Avengers. That might have everything to do with it. It might. I think I feel like every time we have this podcast and we talk about this, I say, that's definitely it. It could be anything. You do. I mean shit. I mean, I mean shit. I mean, I mean shit. I mean shit. I mean I mean shit. I mean shit. I yeah. You know, this we wouldn't have to do this if you just let me watch the fucking movie. Well, we will be able to in a few months. We're around four months away. Three, four months away. It's the time the the timer thing moving at all. I just wanna ask you, excuse me. I've had a long day. Pardon me. Yeah. You're pardoned. Four AM yesterday, five forty-five today. Okay, so I I looked up how do anchor beings time into Doomsday. The concept of anchor beings introduced in Deadpool Wolverine directly raises the multiversal stakes for Doomsday by threatening the total collapse of the main MCU timeline. In the lore, one of universes anchor being dies, that entire reality begins a slow catastrophic decay. Because Tony Stark died in Avengers Endgame, major theories and narrative rumors tie this mechanic straight into Victor Von Doom's arrival. Tony Stark sacrificed himself to save his universe from Thanos, but inadvertently started a multiversal timer without its anchor. So this thinks that Tony Stark is the anchor being. But we don't convince it. Which would make more sense. It would make a lot of sense. He started everything. But That's not confirmed, so we don't know. It's not. Or is it? I don't know. The shared face dilemma. In Avengers Doomsday, Robert Downey Jr. returns as Victor Von Doom because the multiverse is failing without Tony Stark. The desperate remaining heroes may attempt to pluck a Tony variant from another timeline. that's something I've not heard before. From another timeline to fix their universe's anchor. Instead, that variant is a twisted version who embraces the Dark path of Victor Von Doom. That's a good theory. Shit. That's a good theory. It's really good. That's because what if they very likely what if Loki gets in gets back to Earth16616 and says, You guys are doomed, let me help you. We need to grab a Tony Stark variant from another universe, just like Deadpool did to save his universe. So what if they go and they grab a Victor Von Doom? Or they grab a Tony Stark. But it's Victor. But it's Victor because he looks the same. And they say, this guy looks the same. That's Tony Stark. They grab him, they bring him, and then. Ooh. That's a good one. Ooh, hold on, I'm cooking. Hold on. What if then, because they grab a guy that looks like Tony and they bring him to a different universe? What if the guy who looks like Tony, aka Victor, what if Victor is the anchor being to his universe? And it collapses, killing his wife and child, which is the rumor that, like, when he's looking up at the tapestry on the wall, that's his wife and child that die because of a multiversal threat. And why else would he be fighting the Avengers if he has nothing to do with them? So what if he hates them because they plucked him? They plucked him. Interesting. And they brought him to another reality. To To save theirs, but it destroys his. And they don't know that. They don't have a way of looking at that. Yeah. Like, what if they meet up? What if Deadpool somehow is in like the first 20 minutes of this movie? And he's like, we solved this problem. We took a Wolverine, brought him to this one, and now we're good. But what and he says, We just need to do the same thing with Tony Stark. Or I'm sorry, I said Loki would do that. But Deadpool could be there too. Yeah. Like Loki could say, We did this with Deadpool, we'll do this with Tony. I like this. I like cooking. We are cooking. That's a minute long clip right there. There it is. according to prominent narrative theories, Doom's goal is to intentionally collapse the multiverse so he can rebuild reality in his own image, creating battle world to speed up the destruction. Doom may actively hunt down the other anchor beings of surviving timelines, including Earth 616's remaining protective figures like Peter Parker. Ultimately, anchor beings turn the multiverse from an abstract concept into immediate countdown clock. What if the countdown clock is the of course it's the countdown to Avengers Doomsday, but what if it's also the countdown to Earth 616's collapse? You are cooking over here. And I did not read that from there. Like that's just me. What if it's yeah, it's a of course it's a countdown to our movie, but What if it's a countdown that says on December 18th, 2026? Because the Marvel movies take place in like modern day. Like they take place in the years like 2018, 2016, 2015, 2026. What if that day specifically in their world is the day that the incursions begin because of the anchor being being killed in Endgame? And it's a slow timeline. So Endgame was 10 years ago. It was? Yeah. Like our time ten years ago? Ish. Eight, eight, nine y years ago. Are you serious? Yeah. Came out like twenty eighteen? Twenty nineteen? So it's what the fuck. Seven or eight years. Six or seven. I almost did that, but I stu I yeah. Yeah, I like that. I like that a lot. That's really good. I I have to re watch I have to rewatch this podcast to hear that all over again. Yeah, because I wonder who I wonder if anybody else has that theory. I I'm interested to go dive tonight and find out if anybody else is thinking that way. I'm sure they are. Yeah. Some someone has to. I'm not I'm not the first person to make this conclusion. Think about like okay, let's think about like the other universes, right? So like think about Toby Maguire's Spider Man universe. Who's the anchor being for him? It's gotta be him. Is it him or is it Norman Osborne? Norman Osborne gets killed. Could be. Or auto Octavius. Could be. I just saw that the other day, Spider Man 2. So good. That's great. And it's corny. Yeah, but it's okay. Yeah. Here's your change. So good though. But that's a s that's a total Spider Man thing to say. Yeah, it is. Anyway, keep going. Also, how did he get into that bank with those arms? He takes the trench coat off. I think they fold? They do. I think they come go in and out because you see move in and out throughout the movie. And then here's another thing I thought of, but they obviously didn't do it in two thousand two because the animation I don't think was there. Although they created those arms with animation. So And they look good still. They still look good. But like in No Way Home, you see images of Otto Octavius standing really, really tall. Do you think his arms are almost like accordions? Like they can stretch, stretch, stretch, stretch, stretch. But you never see that in Spider Man two. But you see it in No Way Home. god, I can't wait to watch that again. No at home? Yeah. Yeah. Love it. So good. Dude, that was a great one. there's not I mean, there's I don't know what to say after that one. That was a good one. Also, like I got a another strange thing to say. Real life world. What if we had an anchor being? And that's why our everything feels different these days. Maybe we're decaying. I don't know if that's true. Who would be the anchor being of our regular timeline? We don't know. What if it's Dolly Parton? Fuck. Fuck. I don't know. Do you ever get scared and think like our world will just one day collapse? Yes. Cause think like we're all just here. Why are we here? And like one day we might not be. Yeah. It's terrifying. It's a weird thought. You know what a strange thought is like what happens after? I think about that a lot. I used to, but It's too dangerous to think about it. Well like even if it's cold it's cold in here. It's perfect in here. Good. Side tangent 'cause it's usually hot. Yeah. Side tangent. If this is all like like ev if heaven even if heaven and hell are real, which we we really don't know. Of course we have the Bible, of course we have the Bible, but like none of us on earth know that heaven and hell are real. The only people that know, if it is real, are the ones that are deceased. So I've always wondered, like, and when you ha when you die, do you go to heaven as your physical human form, or is it your spirit? So, like, if we died right now, would we go see would we go to heaven and see our grandma dead, or I mean, there in heaven as the way she looked when she died? Or would you be in heaven as just like your aura? And we would know when we got there, like, that's grandma. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. There's some plot holes in the heaven and hell thing. There is, but you have to believe You do. I'm I'm kidding. I'm kidding around. I'm just bullshitting. Because this is the multiverse we're talking about here? Yeah. What if heaven and hell are just different realities? What if Tanner is another there's definitely another Tanner out there. There could be because of whatchamacallit? deja vu. You think there's one that's normal? No. All of you are fucking crazy. All of you are nuts. I hope so. That's how we should. There is a Tanner out there that's still. Battling addiction. Yeah, there's there's one that never came out. There's one that's probably dead. There's Doctor Strange when he's like yeah. This this is the one tanner that escaped addiction. The other ones are out there are still driving in ditches. I like to think. Get cooked. The other ones are still just no, it's it's more like Yeah. The other ones are like the other ones are just I do that now. Yeah, I do too. Worse almost than the drug days. Yeah. but back to the multiverse. Back to back to something. Back to Marvel. Back to anything but this. We're gonna talk about that eventually. We will. Yeah. A a lot of people, like this guy on Reddit, said, like, do anchor beings play a big role in Doomsday? And all the commenters, not all of them, but a lot of them, say that they hope not because it's a stupid concept. Well then in that case they probably won't do that. They know, you know, they know what we want and don't want. And they they really made sure to tell us that we do not we're not gonna understand this shit or like we're not gonna see any of this coming. You know? I believe that. Watch this shit be so crazy. Anyway, Deadpool. Most of these people think that we'll never hear the term anger beings again. This guy says anger beings only really work in Deadpool because it's not a serious movie. But the concept is really stupid outside that. If a universe dies because of only one person's death, then there'd be very few universes left. The only way a universe would exist forever is if their anchor being is was an immortal, unkillable kind of being. Yeah, okay. But still, I like the thought though. Hmm. This guy says this concept was only a metaphor for how greedy Hollywood executives treat certain universes like Fox and X-Men after their main product. Wolverine is out of the play. That's a great that that that's that goes right along the lines of Deadpool's breaking the fourth wall kind of shit. That would make sense for a Deadpool movie. Cause everything's a joke in the Deadpool movie. And why not take a shot at the people that are creating your movie? Damn, these people hate this. Not everybody, I'm sure. Most of these commenters are like. Literally one of the worst plot devices in media history. I hope they retcon everything that happened in Deadpool and Wolverine with Loki. Did they? I don't know. But I think the most popular thing, like going back to like Doom's wife and child, is that like I think you you've probably seen this, but like Steve Rogers, instead of putting all the stones back, he just went back in time to live with Peggy. And never put him back. And that the Steve Rogers that we see at the end of Endgame is Loki in disguise. Huh. That would giving the shield to Sam They can't take that moment away though. There's a lot of people that are thinking that the extra footage in Doomsday is gonna be or I'm sorry, in Endgame is Loki revealing himself like after he gives the shield to Sam and they they all go their separate ways or whatever. Like That like the c he looks at the camera and like it's like digital, like fuzzy, fuzzy, fuzzy, and then it's Loki. Or he shapeshifts back into Loki. And then Loki jumps back into a T VA portal, goes back in time to see Steve and says, It's done. I've given I've given the shield to Sam. So then that would imply that Cap still has the infinity stones. Ooh. Ooh. Hey, and and did you see what Chris Evans came out and said of why he came back? 'Cause they found a really interesting he's been offered a hundred thousand times apparently and and and this is the only one he accepted because it's a really interesting arc for him. And it I read this today and it said that it this is gonna be the most troubling I I can't remember what word he put, but the most troubling or toughest arc you'll see for Captain America yet. Because what if 'cause if Captain America knew that by him going back and living with Peggy, if he knew that that caused Victor Von Doom's universe to collapse, killing his wife and child, he would feel like shit. Yeah. And so the whole movie, he might be wrestling with the fact that this is all because of him. Like Tony dying happened, but the only reason that Doomsday is happening be is because of Steve Rogers' decision. Huh. And then there's a lot of people out there that you'll see them say, like, Steve Rogers is an insanely selfish character. If you look at the different moves he makes throughout the MCU timeline, they're all for himself. Like he's he makes all these moves for him, for Steve. But not for the greater good. Like they said that's the whole reason that him and Tony hated each other so much during the Civil War time was because Tony was like, Yeah, we should be regulated because that's what makes sense. But Steve was like, No, I want to continue doing what I want to do. Hmm. But also, like he makes another good point. Like, what if they're needed and then they don't let him go? Well, I also Civil War is also a weird movie because you can even make it political. And think that like Tony siding with the government and everybody siding with the government bleeds into like how liberals and conservatives believe is that l liberals think more government is good and conservatives, Steve Rogers, a patriot, yeah, thinks that less government is bad. Or more sorry, more government is bad. So like you could tie it into politics and say that it was a political movie because it did come out during 2016. During an election cycle that was very vicious and divisive. So, like you just think about the different ways that it parallels to the real world. So Civil War might not be a good example, but I love Civil War though. It's so good. Such a good movie. Such a good movie. Yeah. just rewatch that for the fun of it. So I'm surprised then that like Wandivision isn't a part of this doomsday list that Marvel released. Yeah. Well, also it's their first show. Maybe they just know that everybody's seen it. Nah, they wouldn't do that. They'll tell you to watch it. Yeah, like they're telling us that we should watch the original two X-Men movies. But I only think that's the case. Just to know who they are. Just to know who they are. Cause like what if the modern day MCU fans have never seen the old X-Men movies? You're looking at one. Yeah. I've I've seen the first two. I I I need to go back and look which ones I have seen. I can't remember them. I've just never been a huge X-Men fan. Me either. Personally. It it always started with me for Spider Man. Spider Man and and like just the main heroes, it feels that I don't feel like in my head they're like the main heroes, but I could get hate for that. But Yeah. I I understand what you're saying though. And like in your defense Those movies like Toby's Spider-Man movies, Andrew's Spider-Man movies, the X-Men's, the Blades, the the Daredevil, like all of that stuff was the past before it became interconnected. And now it's of. And so most modern day superhero people are like, well, I just want to watch the ones that will contribute to the next thing. Yeah. And so But now they will. But now they will. They they're they're just going back and money grabbing everything they can. Because they could have just said that Deadpool and Wolverine is the only X-Men movie you need to watch. But no, they said that. They said the original two X Men. So like apparently the X Men are very important here. Even though I think they will all die in Doomsday. All of the X Men will die. For sure. They just casted a whole new cast. They will all die. But Or their universe will die. And that's why then we get the new X Men in our universe. I still stand by Wolverine and Hugh Jackman, especially after watching this movie. They're gonna they they're gonna make him do this for till he's ninety four. Well and maybe he's then maybe he's the new mentor. Maybe For the X Men. But Deadpool and him won't split up for the rest of time, I don't think. Until until they die. I saw something from Ryan Reynolds in the last week that said that he's done playing Deadpool. He's just saying that, just try to fucking get us to not think that they do this shit. He don't want to give up on Dead. That's his baby, man. He's been babying that shit for years. Yeah. He's always wanted that. Green Lantern didn't pan out. So That movie's funny. I I want to go back and watch that movie after watching lanterns. Yeah. Just to see how stupid it really is. Yeah. I watched it a few years ago for the first time and I was like, I can see why people hate this movie, but I also think that people were really hard on it. yeah. Well, him himself was. Yeah. So, like, you know. I mean, there literally is a scene in Deadpool of himself shooting himself in the head, reading the script for Dead for So that means Marvel characters can travel to our universe. Technically. Right. Yep. But then that also means if you go even deeper with it, that Marvel characters can travel to the DC universe. That would be cool. That'll happen one day. I think it will. Yeah. I think that with James Gunn being in charge. I think it's total think about the money. Batman versus Spider Man. There's theories about that all things Spider Man wins. I don't think so. Buddy, Batman can beat anybody with prep time. But then that's the right. But then that there's the theory too about like with Doomsday about like Toby Maguire versus the X-Men. Toby should win. Versus the X-Men? Yes. We're talking. We have never seen a Spider-Man pull his punches. Or not pull his punches. And with his universe on the line, and we are about to s like if this happens, dude, that's what I'm most excited for. Spider-Man is not going to pull his punches, and it's going to be like Yeah, you know how strong I mean Spider Man's stronger than Captain America. Well, I mean, I think we saw Tom not pull his punches when he was beating the shit out of Willem Dafoe. I still think he wasn't giving it at all because he would have killed him immediately. Yeah. He caved his face in. Yeah. Spider Man is is he is him. Yeah, he is. Yeah. Like, this dude I can't e even in Spider Man two, the video game, he's pulling his punches is Venom. He's still he's still not being who he could be. But anyway, we're getting off topic. No, but it all kind of factors into this. Like that's what that's why I think doom that's why I think Deadpool and Wolverine and Loki are so impaired. Even without like talking about the fact that like Loki is like the god of the multiverse or whatever at the end of season two when he's like holding all of the timelines together. He have you seen it? I just I know what happens. I just spoiler a lot, it's a Loki's the center of the literally the center of the center of the universe. Isn't that crazy? What an arc for that guy. Can't wait to talk about that. Yeah. When I watch the whole thing. I'm like scrolling through this like article real quick about Anchor Beings. Okay. So Deadpoint Wolverine worked because it didn't care about canon and continuity at much, but the film still introduced a major new concept, which is anchor beings, which is why Deadpoint Wolverine is an imperative watch before doomsday. Wade Wilson's universe was destined to die after the death of Wolverine and Logan. Rogue TVA agent Paradox explained why this happens. He said the anchor being is an entity of such a vital importance that when they die, their world slowly withers out of existence. Tony Stark might have been Earth 616's anchor being. That doesn't just mean it could implode. That means it might be a risk to every dimension. In the Marvel Comics, the destruction of one world can cause a cascading effect on other worlds, a type of slow-moving mass incursion event that threatens the entire multiverse. The thing that he who remains was trying to prevent with the sacred timeline. Considering Tony Stark Considering a Tony Stark variant is going to wage war on all other timelines, the idea of an anchor being could be the entire premise of Avengers Doomsday. Doctor Doom's first and only MCU scene so far came from an end credit scene in Fantastic Four. Sue Storm fouled Doom at her home playing with her son Franklin, one of the most powerful beings in the entire MCU. Franklin has the power cosmic. The MCU has yet to fully explore what that means, but audiences got a sense of it from Galactus's desire to use the boy as a replacement to. When Franklin uses his abilities to save his mother's life. Hmm. And a pop-up just popped up on my phone and now it's telling me threat detected, threat detected. Yeah. Close that tab. Yeah, fuck that. Fake. Fake news. Fake news. fake nudes. Fake nudes. so good stretch. Obviously, so we obviously know that Channing Tatum survives. Yes. And He makes it to he make the so he makes it to the X-Men universe. The X-Men's universe, yeah. So who comes and gets him? Deadpool. No, I don't fuck. Fuck, dude. I got no clue. This shit would be crazy. Does he make it to the Avengers unit for to Earth 616? And then go with him. And then go with them to the X-Men universe. And then he's like, wait a minute. You guys are the people that I should have been with the whole time. I should be, I'm a mutant. I, you know, all 'Cause we don't know the and we don't know Channing Tatum's Gambit's backstory at all. We just know that they call them the gambit. What's funny is over the course of the movie, I feel like he talked less and less in that accent. Like that scene, it sounded like he was just talking Channing Tatum with a slight accent. But that first scene you he hear him, you're like, Whoa, I can't even Deadpool said like, Whoa, bro, I didn't hear a single thing that you said. Yeah. My doing gonna be a gamut. So cool. I wait for him. He's so cool. He is cool. His powers are I don't understand him. And he clearly makes it again, unless Marvel, because they do this, Marvel makes fake trailers to spoof us up. He'll be in it though. But like that scene where Sue is talking to the rest of the Avengers about Victor, he used to be kind, he used to be caring, whatever. Channing Tatum is in there listening to her from what looks like they all just had a battle. Like they all just fought. Probably each other. And then someone from The Fantastic or someone was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We're all on the same side here. We got a huge threat to face. And then Sue Storm gives her monologue. And so there are some X-Men alive, Magneto and Gambit. We see those two. So we know maybe that they're alive. We only know what we know and what they've given us. So let's just say all the X-Men died, Mystique, Cyclops, they all died except for Magneto and Gambit. So Gambit either made it to the X-Men universe and fights the Avengers, or he makes it to the Avengers universe and then fights the X-Men. I don't know, but he's fighting Cheng Chi. So, like That's gonna be a great fight. Yeah. there's gonna be so many great fights in this movie. Son of a bitch. Bitch of a son. I'm hungry. What? Hungry. So, all in all. Great movie. Good movie. A lot of questions. My favorite scene, I think, is definitely this has been all over the place. My favorite scene, I think, is when him and Wolverine are fucking up the other Deadpool variants. That was badass. When you go money. Because of that movie that's on my playlist. And they're just, and so Catherine's sitting next to me and she's watching with me just that end scene. She was off doing something else, and then she sat next to me, and she was like. Ryan Reynolds is so good as Deadpool. She and she has no idea who he is. She's never seen any of the other ones. She's just like, wow, this literally looks like Ryan Reynolds his baby. It's what he should do. And so I pause it and then explain the fact that that dude was trying to pitch this movie to Fox for years. Talk about a guy that's confident in his abilities. That's I mean, he knew that he'd nail Deadpool. I need to show her X-Men or Origins Wolverine and show him like show her the fake Deadpool that we got. He was ridiculous. Didn't he have powers? I seen that movie. Remember they like morphed together like the mutant or whatever, and he had like the blades that came out of his hands or whatever. He was bald. He had the tattoos on his face or whatever. And he couldn't talk. Yeah, he couldn't the well. You get why they did that? Cause he never shuts his mouth. Well, that, but like they always called him the Merc with the mouth in the comics. And so when they have him with no mouth in that movie, it was almost like a big fuck you to everyone who wants who wanted Deadpool to be in those movies. But now we got him. Yeah, we got him. We got for now. We got him. Yeah. See how this looks, right? I don't know. He might die. He also might not. He won't. You don't think so? No. There's no ounce of you that thinks that he dies in in either Secret Wars or Doomsday. I will say one thing that I really think prominently on my head right now. Gubernatorial. So there you go. There you have it. There's our Road to Avengers Doomsday discussion about Deadpool and Wolverine. If you agree with any of our theories, comment on the episode. Let us know personally. If you know us personally and you listen to this, thank you for for listening. but yeah, let us know. Let's start some discussion because this movie Fantastic Four connects to Doomsday, of course, because of the Fantastic Four and the end credit scene. Probably directly. But this movie with the anchor beings and the TVA time jumping, multiverse hopping, like there's so much so many questions with this movie. so I So many skibbities, not enough toilets. Correct. Not enough toilets, tons of skibbities. I might still I might be the only person in the world that still says that. You are. I love saying that. It's so funny. Well skibbity toilet that checks out. so guys. That's what that's what that's where we're at. Next week we are doing an episode, a kind of a fill in the blank episode, because we're gonna talk about some lanterns. We're gonna talk about our first three episodes of lanterns. We're gonna talk about the a couple movies that I've gone to the theaters and seen over the last couple weeks should be fun. gonna talk about the end of Oak Street, gonna talk about the new insidious movie. You went. I went with my mom and sister. On their for their birthdays. Fuck. I know. But I'll explain why you didn't miss much. Really? Yeah. That looks like a fucking I'll tell you about it. I'll tell you about it when we when we record. But Fuck. Yeah. Fuck but yeah, guys, this has been Happy Place. If you like our movies discussions, if you like our theories, share it with a friend. We could use the support. Thank you to two sixteen co working for hosting us and we will see everybody next time, yeah? Yeah. Thank you. Bye.
