Brianne: Today it's time to celebrate. Hello, Reg Babes, and welcome back to another episode on the Go Regulate Yourself podcast. My name is Brianne. I am your host, and today we are here to celebrate some incredible things that are happening behind the scenes for the podcast. Now, I don't know if you follow along on social media, Instagram, Facebook, that sort of thing. If you don't, Get over there right away and follow one of our pages, please would appreciate it so much. I have lately been in a little bit of a funk, in I would say the last couple of weeks. And after some analyzation, what I've realized is we're reaching new heights with the podcast. We are expanding to more and more people across the world, and things are really starting to increase. And we're gonna talk about all of those specific numbers today. But as a result, it's been feeling like the brand doesn't quite match the energy of which I'm hoping to bring into the world within this space and the type of image that I want to convey with the podcast. And so I have recently met with a brand expert who is gonna be helping me over the next few months fine-tune what we really want. Go regulate yourself to look like long term, how we want our voice to be conveyed, the things that I actually want to talk about here on the podcast, fine-tuning the quality of guests that we want to bring to you moving forward. And also starting to share other behind-the-scenes moments on social media, not just the little clips of our episodes that we have going out all the time. And so there was all of these things weighing on my heart and my mind, and I was finding it little bit challenging to show up because I didn't know what I wanted to convey. And I felt like I was in this sticky, messy growth period. And I met with this brand expert who we're gonna be going through all these things, as I said. And as we're chatting on the call, suddenly it felt like this little like glimmer, you could call it like a spark within me, started to light up. And I started to realize the true reason behind why it's been difficult for me to show up. And it's all of this. And at the same time, as I was explaining to her the growth that we've seen on the podcast in a lot of different ways, I started to realize how silly it is for me to be second-guessing myself or frustrated with myself in relation to. What's going on? Because there are some really fucking incredible milestones that we hit this month that are things that I would have previously shouted from the rooftops, but only because I was so in my head and second guessing myself and beating myself up about all of this did I feel like it was something that I couldn't share, I couldn't talk about, or isn't it wasn't worthy of being celebrated to that level. And once I realized this, I realized how much bullshit that actually is, and how excited I am to actually be talking about and sharing about these incredible things that the podcast in the space has achieved. And I thought, what a fun way to actually like talk about our celebrations, but also have you reflect upon this for yourself. Ways in which you might be downplaying your success because something in your head is getting after you in relation to it not being good enough, or you're comparing yourself to other people, which is a huge trap that all of us fall into at so many different times. And I know that I have been guilty and victim to this too, the doom scrolling and landing on somebody's page who looks so professional and so polished, and they have everything together. Doesn't matter that they've been at this 10 years longer than we have. For some reason we find it acceptable to second guess ourselves when it comes down to us and how we're showing up. And I mean, comparison, not only is it the thief of joy, as the quote suggests, but comparison is always the quickest way for us to procrastinate, for us to stall, for us to throw in the towel, give up, walk away. We're automatically going to judge ourselves and criticize ourselves so much that it doesn't feel worth it to continue moving forward and achieving those particular actions. And so this is a really huge thing that I want you to consider for yourself in this area. Ways in which you might not actually be celebrating your own success, ways that you might be downplaying or not thinking that you're worthy of the celebration pieces. And We want to change that. We want to reframe that. So come along with me today as we celebrate some of the things that are happening here on the podcast. And at the same time, I want you to think about some things that you could be celebrating for yourself in your own life right now, whether it's just in relation to your life, it's in relation to your business, whatever it might be, start thinking about some of those things, okay? So first things first. The podcast has turned two years old, okay? It's been such a busy month. I didn't actually get to celebrate this on the day of the podcast turning this, but you've probably seen in the last week some social media posts that have gone out celebrating this achievement. The actual date of the podcast turning to was October 18th. And I actually feel kind of emotional as I'm sharing this and talking about this because the last three years, as you know, have been incredibly difficult for me. In relation to my last company crash, losing everything, the cancel culture attempt of me online, this has been a really big rewriting period. And two years ago, when I started this podcast, it was a way of healing myself selfishly. It was a way of me being able to start to find my confidence again, starting to talk about. The hard things that were going on and what I was experiencing, and the shame and the guilt that I felt, and these crushing expectations that I felt upon my shoulders and my chest in relation to what I should do, what people were telling me to do, what was gonna make me a good person and be likable and be valued amongst everybody else. And it also was a really big catalyst towards teaching me. To not give a fuck about other people's opinions, to use my voice, to believe things about myself, to recognize my my capabilities to overcome some of the hardest fucking things in life. And that is what this platform really was built upon and born from was this catastrophic failure that I had and the way that I wanted each of us to be able to recognize how much. potential, how much growth, how many beautiful things we still have available to us even after the darkest moments that we can go through in our life. So the fact that the podcast is turning to the fact that I have been consistent on this and building this brand and this image for two years now. feels fucking incredible. And I'll be honest, I really start didn't start taking the podcast and stuff with the podcast serious until about January of this year. which says a lot because a lot of the things that we're celebrating today in terms of like the numbers really only started to show up as of January this year with some of the things and the the changes and you know consistency that we started to put in at that point. It kind of moved from just being like this side hobby thing that a few people knew about to suddenly to growing and to bringing in a huger, wider audience internationally across the world, which is such an incredible thing to say and even think about out loud. And so we are celebrating two years. It's two years in the podcast. It's our birthday. I'm so fucking excited. The best part about this is it actually coincides with my own birthday, which is October 29th. So I can actually celebrate two big birthdays in October, which is so fun for me. And so we are really excited about this. And I cannot wait until I'm sitting here with you and we're celebrating like 10 years with a podcast. How fucking amazing will that be? So that is one of our biggest celebrations this month. Now, here's a couple others. We have hit 5,000 followers on our Facebook page. I can't even believe I'm saying those words out loud. 5,000 followers on our Facebook page. We started this year, you guys. January of this year, our Facebook page had 37 followers. So this is a really big change and Growth for us on the podcast. And like I said, once we actually started taking this from just like a fun little hobby that a few people knew about to actually concentrating on the podcast and the growth of that, that is what became possible. So I am just fucking blown away at the fact that we have that many followers on Facebook. Now, we are celebrating almost 3,000 followers to Instagram. Which again, starting at the beginning of this year, we were around like a hundred, hundred and thirty, maybe. So this is again a really big jump for us. And we're seeing more and more people come into our community, into our network every single day, which is just such a beautiful thing to witness. And I know that we're gonna be collectively over the ten thousand mark between our platforms here in the next couple of weeks, which is just mind-boggling to even think about that I'll be celebrating that by the end of November. Crazy, crazy to think about. And I just want to say how much I appreciate you guys being here in the network too. If you're here listening to this podcast episode, you're catching some of these clips on social media, just know how much I appreciate you and your commitment to our voice and what this platform stands for. I just really appreciate you being here and celebrating with us and helping us. grow this mission in this way. Now outside of the followers on Facebook and on Instagram, we are also celebrating this month over 15,000 downloads to the podcast. Over 15,000 downloads to the podcast. And most of those have happened within the last couple of months. So we are really moving into the space of What you want to call it? Like a ripple effect or like just this consistency and growth really starting to be exponential, really starting to explode. And our download numbers every single week have been increasing steadily, which is such a cool thing to witness to see some episodes that have just completely popped off with hundreds and hundreds of listeners. I can even begin to fathom that we're gonna be hitting thousands and thousands of listeners per episode. In the near future. Like it just feels so fucking exciting. And of course, after realizing that I have not been celebrating this, it feels really good to just sit here and celebrate that with you for a moment that we've hit this because it's a really, really fucking cool thing. And 15,000 downloads is a fucking lot. So thank you for that. We are also celebrating over 500 Spotify followers, which is a number I've been consistently monitoring for the last couple of months and have loved seeing that increase. We are also celebrating over 100 YouTube subscribers and over 200 membership subscribers. So to go regulateyourself.com, we have like our general free membership space, but we also have our paid network of regbabes after dark. And those are both found in the same place. GoRegulateYourself.com. It's where you get emails every single time a new episode drops, where you get sneak peeks to our guest expert sessions if you're not in the paid side, where you get other little additional bonuses like healing resources every month. There's a lot of really cool things that are happening within the membership space, and we are celebrating over 200 members to that area, which is just again mind-boggling and so fucking exciting that we are building this network and increasing this space and continuing to ripple out this energy of really prioritizing ourselves, healing. Thinking about things from alternative perspectives, taking responsibility for our shit, and obviously creating lives that are magnetic and delicious and maintain all of the incredible things that we wish to call forward for ourselves and our lives. And so all of these celebrations combined just feel almost too good to be true. It feels like my heart's gonna explode out of my chest because I am just so fucking grateful and excited. For what is coming, for what's currently here. And you know it's interesting because lately I have been watching a lot of Florence Gibbon on Instagram, which I've previously shared. She's one of my favorite people to follow. She always has incredible little videos that she puts out. I have been following quite a few of hers. And in one of the recent videos, she was talking about it being okay to want more in your life. Like to be totally satisfied and grateful and happy for where you're at right now and celebrating that. And at the exact same time, also wanting more in your life. Like it's no longer settling for little crumbs, right? Like, this is okay. And I'll just settle and I'll I'll take this. It's like I want the whole fucking cake. And so I'm gonna celebrate eating a piece, eating a slice right now, and enjoying everything that that has to offer me. I'm gonna be so fucking obsessed with my life and love everything that's currently here. And at the same time, I more. I want to expand. I want to see how far this can go. I want to grow this to new heights and and new expanded levels. We're allowed to want that in our lives. Not only are we allowed, it is 100% acceptable and okay to be obsessed with where you're at and want more, to love where you're at and want more, to be grateful for what you have and want more. These are all really important things that I think each of us has to acknowledge for ourselves in our life and recognize that we are always growing and expanding and reaching new heights is part of what the human experience is about. And the quicker that we give ourselves permission to keep moving in that direction, to keep beating that drum, to keep expanding, the more. Beautiful things are gonna happen for us. The faster our desires are going to come in, the more delicious that our life is going to feel. We're not gonna feel like we're restricted or that we are bogged down or that we have limitations in terms of what we can achieve. We think about this world as if it is limitless because that's what it is. We think about this world as if there are opportunities on the horizon everywhere we look, and that's because there are. And when we start to think about it from this perspective, not only does it feel way better, because hell, that's a way more positive mindset to have, but we also start to pick up on this everywhere, right? If we're thinking about it in one capacity, we're gonna think about it in all the capacities. And we just naturally start to seek joy and pleasure and all of this delicious energy from everything that it is that we're doing. And I think it's really cool to see. How much we can expand. Like if you just think about this from a perspective, right? If you have only one little bowl of food and that's all that you're given, and there's nothing else available to you, you're gonna scarf that food down as quickly as you can. And you're probably not gonna be super grateful for it. And you're probably gonna feel hungry the moment that it's done. It's not gonna feel like you're satiated enough. It's gonna feel very limiting in its nature. But if you have a whole fucking buffet available to you everywhere that you look, you might still have that bowl. But now you have the ability to fill that bowl up at any time that you want. All of this is available to you. And so when that happens, do you stuff yourself out of fear or scarcity? Or are you allowing yourself to eat until you're full? To be grateful and know that if you want to go for seconds or you want to go for dessert, that that's available to you? Do you worry about when your next meal is going to be if you can see this whole buffet range of food in front of you? Or do you just trust that you're going to be full, that you're going to be satiated, that you're going to be taken care of? You're going to be so grateful for what's in your bowl, and you can still want more that's around you, that you can still reach out and grasp anything else that you want, that you can change your mind and choose a different course, choose a different menu item that is available to you at any time. And so it's this moving from what I would call A cycle of fear-based operation where we're acting out of fear and we're worried about where this is gonna come from or what tomorrow's gonna look like. And instead, we're celebrating everything that we have right now, and we're excited about what else is to come. It's not out of fear, out of this has to be this way. It's what else could be possible? What more could I have? What gifts could be present? How much better could it get? And that is the difference in our mindset and in the energy that we're showing up. We're allowing ourselves to expand beyond the horizons that we have right now without restricting ourselves or limiting ourselves in any capacity. And that is what I want you to get behind. So I thank you so much for being here today to celebrate the success that the podcast has and what's happening with Go Regulate Yourself. And as a further step, I want to encourage you to celebrate a little bit more of yourself, to celebrate whatever's going on for you in your life right now, to think about all of the incredible things that you have going for you, and also celebrate what's coming, what more you are creating. Allow yourself to really settle into the joy and the pleasure and the deliciousness of that energy. And then see what else happens, see what else comes through. There are limitless opportunities for all of us in this world. And I think it's about time that we grab a hold of them. So I am sending you so much love. Thank you for being here with me today. And I will catch you in the next episode. Remember to go regulate yourself.
