Somebody Lied When: Welcome to Somebody Lied When, the podcast where we unpack and challenge the stories, myths, and messages that no longer serve us about love, relationships, healing, and ourselves. I think people are prepared for the last that last part of that. The change happens when you practice it. I think that people expect one and two. But that that change, that practicing of it is the piece that I think people aren't prepared for when they come to therapy. I think they just think therapy is just talking . Right. Like, you're just having a conversation. And it's it is a conversation and And there's an action component too. Right. Together we'll explore the practice of building healthier relationships through honest conversations, meaningful insight, and a little truth telling. One of the things I I talk to clients about is there's 168 hours in a week. I only see you one. Huh. Come on. So yeah, there's gonna be some stuff, but what you are going do? Because I do believe that the work is really done when you go home and you really try to apply the stuff to your Like if you're not trying to apply it to your life, then we just talking about it. Then we just talk. And we just talk it. And talking is good. But there's a point where you're gonna want to do more than talking. Right. Right.
