I have them right here. I didn't want to pull them up this way, this time. I'll start. I'll go. Thursday night football, Buffalo hosted Detroit in the new Bills Mafia Stadium. Bills win at 4131. And then we didn't have anything till Sunday. There go. Carolina takes care of Atlanta handily 34-3. In an ugly one, Minnesota in a s it's a really a swamp game. Beats Chicago. Caleb Williams goes out early. avoids a major injury though. Minnesota wins nine to three. Philly goes to Tennessee, wins 24 to 20. Score on basically a last second touchdown. I think it was like 18 seconds left or something. But yeah, Philly wins 24 to 20. New England takes care of Pittsburgh handily at home, 20 to 3. Jets and the Packers in New York go to overtime. Jets or Green Bay comes back and ties in regulation and then wins it in overtime 20 to 17. In a two-hour weather delay, Cleveland beats Tampa probably the center of the week 23-19. but right behind in another stunner. New Orleans goes to Baltimore and wins it 24 to 17. Cincinnati goes to Houston and Houston's offense couldn't get going. 20 to 6 for Cincinnati. And then Denver at home bounces back after their week one loss. They win against Jacksonville 20 to 13. The Vegas Raiders with another upset. 26 14 over the Chargers. Chargers start 0 2 this year. San Fran takes care of Miami at home single handedly. I forgot about Dallas. They're up here. In my favorites. Dallas at home takes care of Washington 37 20. Shane Daniels leaves with injury. another dislocated elbow. And then Sunday night, great ball game. Kansas City beats Indianapolis 33-30 in overtime. And then Monday night football, Giants fans worst nightmare, about half their roster gets hurt, dart out for the year. Rams win 28 to 6. All right, guys. I didn't even notice that Roy left. Brice: Yeah, we lost Roy like immediately. Josh DeMage: okay, well, we're just gonna keep pushing. All right, Rice, what do you think about this week? Any thoughts, takeaways? Brice: I mean, obviously I gotta talk about the Bears a little bit. just n literally nothing in this game went our way. And you said Caleb went out early. He actually went out like late in the fourth quarter. it just everything that we had going ended in a fail somehow. Like we finally marched down the field DeAndre Swift fumbles on the one. We finally march down the field again after that. Sam Rose drops a touchdown. Like, it's just I get the conditions and stuff. And I thought the Vikings defense played decent. I don't think that they dominated us like I've been seeing on social media. Like, if we don't have a drop touchdown and a fumbled touchdown, the score looks a lot different than 9 3. And if Caleb doesn't go down for the last two drives of the game, one of them being on the five yard line, I think that also looks different. So yeah, it is what it is. I was in a dark place Sunday night, so I didn't really watch much else football. I thought Caleb was probably out for the season after grabbing his leg like that, but it was literally best case scenario. So Josh DeMage: Yeah. yeah, I didn't take a whole lot from the Bears game, honestly. It was just awful conditions. Nobody could do anything. Vikings offense couldn't do anything 'cause of the conditions. Bears offense couldn't do anything for the conditions. You play that wet of a game, ball's just gonna be f you're just gonna fumble and not be able to throw the ball well. It's gonna be a low scoring game. I actually I really didn't want to talk about games so much. I kinda wanted to talk about teams' first two weeks and t my thoughts. I will say, you know, I I came into the season thinking in the NS NFC East, Washington and New York were the two worst teams. and now they both lose their quarterbacks for the foreseeable future. Those two will finish in the bottom two, just for that fact. I think Buffalo looks as good as I've seen them. Again, we're two weeks in. I understand injuries are gonna happen, but their defense is at least playing some decent football. and we already know their offense is gonna do good. Atlanta looks just Downright horrific because they don't have a quarterback. I mean Roy might be on the the call next. I mean he's he's on the chopping block of playing quarterback soon, so and another team, Green Bay, I think they look like shit so far. again, I know they're they're still a little rattled with some injuries offensively. They let some receivers go to let some other people play. They haven't started off good. Doesn't mean they can't get going again. I'm not overreacting or underreacting. I'm just saying what I've seen through two weeks. and the last team I want to talk about, I'm not going to talk about the Chargers. They just look horrific as well. is New Orleans. I mean, they were minute or they were one play away from knocking off the Lions in Detroit let last week or two two weeks ago. And then last week they go into Baltimore and beat the Ravens. I don't have much high hopes for s the New Orleans Saints, but the fact that you play two, I mean premier offenses at least, and they're right there in both games. I'm I'm gonna be honest, they probably should have beat the Lions if they get the extra point. Instead of going for two, they get the extra point. But yeah, hats off to the Saints and what they're doing then there, Kellan Larren, former Cowboys legend. So that's about all I got. Roy, you got anything from this week? Roy: for NFL yeah. No, just I mean injury bug. I mean, how many injuries can you say up and down the NFL? now I saw I heard you talk about I missed all of Bryce's stuff. for you do you talked about bad teams. I mean I I the teams that have been bad in my opinion. I mean Dolphins are bad, which we kinda knew. But you're gonna say, like you said, the Giants and Washington lost their starting quarterback for a year. That's just that just I mean, their backups I mean, they're just not Jameis Woodson looked god awful after when he came in now. other teams I thought didn't have not looked good. I mean the Buccaneers, what the hell with them? I I they got a lot of injuries going on, but man, Baker Mayfield looks terrible. you let Mike Evans go and your receiving quarters has not I mean, Buka hasn't looked good. It's just not been I mean if that that toe injury he has has been bad. It's just not been what what the what I thought they would be. The the Chargers l yes. Yeah, they gotta get rid of that Mike Dani McDaniels. What he's trying to do with the personnel that they have. I mean, did you see watching that game? I watched some of it. I there was at least nine drops. I mean, the receiving core cannot catch a ball to save their life. It's unreal. And then the blocking scheme, I mean, Justin Herbert's running the entire time. There's just I mean, just the way just the way he's it's like they got two out there trying to run the ball. And that's not Justin Hubert or Herbert, that you know. It's Mike McDaniels Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: has got to figure something out or get the hell out of there. the the team that surprised me the Raiders. Raiders look actually pretty good. I've been kinda surprised by them. but yeah, this the the Sa the Saints actually I feel I feel like are a pretty dang good football team. but overall I just I've been surprised by the injuries. I mean Nico Collins, I mean just everybody. It just I mean Jalen Reed out for the year. Just I mean, it's just been a crazy how thing people are getting hurt. I don't know if it's because of the lack of hitting they're getting in the practice you know, off season to now. But this has just been crazy these first two weeks. Josh DeMage: Yeah, I agree. okay, I'm gonna go over our week two predictions. Roy, you and Bryce both tied 11 and 5. some games that went each other's way. Roy, you actually had a few games different than all of us. I would say you had the one that was most different. You did get the Vikings over the Bears, me and Bryce had the Bears. you also had the Pats, me and Bryce both took the Steelers. Bryce on your end, you had the Bengals, correct? Me and Roy both took the Texans. We all missed the Chargers game. We all missed the Bucks game. We all miss the Ravens game. And then Roy, you missed the Giants game and the Rams game by yourself. Me and Bryce both got that right. So Roy and Bryce both 11-5. I was one back at 10-6 for all of NFL. So our two weeks. I still hold the best record, 21 and 11. and Bryce and Roy, you're both one back of me at 20 and 12. So that will be our NFL update. So let's move it on to week three. Bryce, you wanna type? Brice: Yep. Josh DeMage: All right. I will I'll go ahead and read it. Falcons on Thursday night football will go to Lambo. is it at Lambeau? Let me make sure. I don't want to have the Roy: I assume it is. Josh DeMage: every single one backwards. Okay, it's in Lambeau, so we're right. Falcons at Packers. I'll go first. I'm gonna take the Packers with the Falcons quarterback situation. There's just not much hope there. Brice: I am also taking the Packers. As bad as the Packers look, the Falcons look like they're the worst team in the league this year. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: The fo about I've I'll take Packers. Josh DeMage: B. John Robinson though still looked good. Ch Brice: He does look good, he's on my fantasy. Josh DeMage: I know. Chargers go to Buffalo and play the Bills. we'll get Roy stuff later. I don't know what his Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: connection issue is. I've never seen it like that this before ever. Chargers go to the Bu Bills. I'll take the Bills. Brice: I agree with you. Chargers are terrible. Josh DeMage: Next one, Panthers go to Cleveland. Both teams coming off a win. Bryce, all you go first. Brice: I am going to take the Panthers. Even though Cleveland got a win, I still think Panthers are good team. Josh DeMage: I do too. The Panthers defense has actually been pretty horrific to start. I know that got skewed Brice: They'll give up three last week. Josh DeMage: Well, I know, but I'm saying I know it's skewed because of the week one. but they still actually have given up a lot of rushing yards. I anticipate that to come back down to earth a little bit. They're just too good defensively. I mean it's a defensive football team first, honestly. So yeah, I'll take the Panthers as well. next one, Jets go to Detroit. I'll take the Lions on this one. Brice: I'm actually gonna take the jets on this one. Josh DeMage: Wow, look at that. I'll go first on this one because this is the first close one that I'll pick. Texans are 0 and 2, but they've been close both games for the most part. I'm gonna take the Colts. I think they're playing a little better than the Texans are right now. Brice: I actually agree with you. I think the Texans are a pretty bad team this year. I don't think the defense is playing as well as they have in the past, which has really Josh DeMage: Yeah. Brice: carried them. And they're that offense is horrendous. Josh DeMage: Yep. Next one. Chiefs go to Miami to play the Dolphins. And I don't think it's close. I'll take the Chiefs. Brice: yeah, I agree. and Roy Josh DeMage: Yeah. Brice: is inputting his, so I'm going to read that he took the Packers, Bills versus the Chargers, the Panthers versus the Browns, and the Jets versus the Lions, and he's about to do the Texans Colts, I believe. Josh DeMage: Next one for us. Titans go to play the Giants. Ooh, man, this is a hard one now. What do the Giants look like with no Dart, with no Brian Burns on the defensive side? are the Texans Brice: The league neighbors went down too, didn't he? Josh DeMage: good enough to go in there and get a win? I'm gonna say they Brice: The Titans. Josh DeMage: are. I'm gonna take the Titans in this one. Brice: I'm I'm actually still gonna take the Giants. Although I don't think they'll win a game after this the rest of the year. 'cause Jameis Winston, I mean, he looked very, very bad. Like, even for Jameis Winston's standards, that was the worst I have ever seen him play. He was delivering balls ten feet below where they were supposed to be. But I think Cam Scatabou's gonna run all over that defense, so Josh DeMage: Yep. Next one. The Bengals go to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers. Steelers did not look good at all last week. I expect them to look better. I still think the Steelers are a solid team. They to me they're I know it's a different coach and different environment. I still think they're like a five hundred team. I am gonna take the Bengals though. I think they've been playing really well the first two games. Brice: I agree. We're taking the Bengals. Josh DeMage: And then Seahawks at Commanders, man. I feel like we got a lopsided week this week. Feels like Seahawks and Commanders, I'll take the Seahawks without Jaden Daniels. Brice: Yeah, me too. Josh DeMage: Patriots go to Jacksonville Una. That's a solid one. Bryce, I'll let you go first on this one. Brice: I am taking the Jags. I s I just don't think the Patriots are that good of a team. Josh DeMage: Yeah, this is like a fifty fifty toss up for me. Patriots looked good last week against the the Steelers. Jag's coming off a loss, but we're hanging in there with Denver. I'll go Patriots. I'll go to the team that's playing a little bit better. Next one, Cardinals go to the forty niners. I'll take the Niners. Brice: Me too. Josh DeMage: And then Vikings at Buccaneers. Brice: Man, I do not want to take the Vikings, but Tampa Bay has been so horrendous, so I'm going to Josh DeMage: Next one, Ravens go to play the Cowboys. Right now this game is expected to be played in Rio, not Dallas. Dallas loses the home Brice: So Josh DeMage: game because of it. Bryce, I'll let you go first on this one. Brice: I'll take the Ravens. Cowboys the fast few years have not been able to stop the run very well. And if their offensive coordinator actually gives Derrick Henry the ball, I think they'll he'll run for two hundred yards, so. Josh DeMage: Yeah, Cowboys have I actually th they haven't been great against the run, but they've been even worse against the quarterback scramble, which I expect Lamar to do. even though I don't know if t wide receiver for the Ravens. Flowers, Zay Flowers. Brice: Flour. Josh DeMage: I don't know if Zay Flowers is gonna be playing, which I think that helps the Cowboys in their pass defense. and I expect the top cowboys put up points. I think it can be close, but I'm gonna take the Ravens as well. Raiders go to the Saints. I would have for the each of the last two weeks I would have picked the Raiders, but man, the Saints seem to be playing decent. I'm gonna roll the Saints. Brice: I agree. Tyler Sho Shuck or whatever has actually been playing really good. Josh DeMage: I mean he should, he's twenty seven, he's in his prime. It's only his second year, but he's twenty Brice: True. Yeah. Eleven AM start. Texas will go to Tennessee, Knoxville. and Texas's four and a half point favorites. I'll go first. I'm gonna take the Longhorns. Brice: I'm gonna take my volunteers. Roy: I'm taking Texas. Brice: Yeah. Next game is Illinois versus OSU. Josh DeMage: Illinois is going to travel to Columbus, Ohio to play at Ohio State. Ohio State is just barely favored at 26 and a half. I will take the buckeyes on this one, unfortunately. Brice: I almost believed you when you said barely at first. I was like, How? Roy: I was ho I'm taking it the buckeyes. I would I'm trying to get to Indiana sometimes so I can take Ohio State plus the points plus the over because Ellino's defense is so goddam terrible. Ohio State will score fifty points. Brice: Yeah, probably. Josh DeMage: Or Illinois can upset the world and just end Ohio State's season after losing last week. They can end it right now. Roy: I'll take that I'll take that over. I lose money on that, I would take it. Brice: If we went to the game, Josh, they probably would have done Okay, last game is Michigan versus Iowa. Josh DeMage: Wow. Iowa is at Michigan. Dang it. they're going to the big house. Michigan has five and a half point favorites. I don't know what the under is, but I would take it. I don't care if the over under six, I would take the under. I'll go first on this one. I think they're gonna do it. I'm gonna take Iowa to go into the big house, walk out with a win. Brice: Roy said Michigan. I am actually gonna take Michigan as well. They played a lot better this week. Josh DeMage: Alrighty. Now, before we move on out of college football, last week I know Roy said it 10 0 for Bryce, 6 4 for me, 8 2 for Roy. Our college football overall score, Roy leads at 28 and 10. Three back of Bryce, three back is Bryce, excuse me, 25 and 13. Two back of Bryce, five back of Roy, me, 23 and 15. But our overall record for all NFL A and NCA, this is the one that matters. Roy leads at 48 and 22. Three back is Bryce in second, 45 and 25. And I'm five back or four back of Roy, one back of you, Bryce, 44 and 26. We're all right there still. so yeah, that's what we got. And I don't think we have anything else left for football. That's gonna roll us into MLB. And something I forgot to mention last week about MLB, instead of talking about the standings, we're gonna talk about our draft game, which I forgot to talk about last week. It's over. We have a winner. Nobody's gonna catch Roy. He's got 5 02. I am nine back, but I'm just you just not making up nine games. and Roy's team is sizzling right now. He's put up about four to five wins a day the last two or three days. So Roy's gonna walk out of there with a win. I am gonna fish in second. I'm nine back or yeah, I'm nine back five two to four ninety-three. And Bryce is twenty back of me, so he's thirty back of the lead at four seventy. So it's gonna finish Bruy, me, Bryce. so Bryce, you're gonna have number one picks next year. You're gonna be locked and loaded. didn't do Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: me squat this year. Picked the Mets as a tier three thing it had help and they were the worst team maybe in the fucking sport, so. but yeah. It was a good run. and we did do some rookie of the year w predictions and Cy Young's and all that. Worth points, still not gonna matter because I don't think anyone's gonna win more than one. I think I could win NL Rookie of the Year. Don't think I will, but I could. And I think you guys could win AL Rookie of the Year. Again, not gonna matter in the standing. So unless something crazy happens. Roy's gonna be your winner. Brice: It's crazy I didn't pick the NL V P 'cause it's gonna be Picrow Armstrong. Josh DeMage: Yeah, you picked Shohei Otani. I mean loser. Brice: So Josh DeMage: Yeah, the MVP actually didn't count toward our thing. It was only rookie of the year in Cy Young's, because we kind of just assumed Otani and Judge would win if they both played. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: but all right. So let's go to the standings. We're not gonna go through all of them. The Tampa Bay Rays have won the AL East. They have clinched it. They will be the number one C in the American League. it's not really close. The New York Yankees have clinched the number one wild card. They will host a playoff series in New York for best of three. the Red Sox are 99% sure that is the team that's going to be the number two wild card team going to New York. So you're almost likely going to see the Yankee and the Red Sox in Yankee Stadium for the second straight year. The AL Central and the ALS have not had winners yet. Cleveland still has a one game lead over Chicago in the AL Central. caveat. White Sox do own the tiebreaker, so all they have to do is tie. If the White Sox tie, they win the division. it's coming down the wire here. but we're gonna see who wins it. And then the other team is almost guaranteed at this point to make the playoffs. I they are three games up of the team out, either the White Sox or the Guardians, whichever one falls. it would need they would need a collapse. They basically need to lose all the like five games left or f four game. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: excuse me, four games left in the season. So both those teams are gonna be in probably. And the AL West right now has a tie. Houston and the Rangers, but Houston owns the tiebreaker. They're both 78 and 79 under 500 currently about to be in the playoffs. Brice: That's insane. Josh DeMage: And another you know, and I'm I think we've voiced our opinion that I mean I do not agree with how the playoff bracket is set up at this point. Whoever wins this division, winning record or not, are going to be a higher right now, they're gonna be a higher seed than the New York Yankees, who are Roy Clapp: Thanks. Josh DeMage: ninety and sixty-seven, are gonna be below a seventy-eight and seventy-nine team. So, Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: I think we they gotta make a change. But Right now, Houston does own that. And then the team that does not win is 90% not going to get in. So that that is a big race for those. but let's say it's the National League. The Braves have won the National League East. The Brewers have won the National League Central, and the Dodgers have won the National League West. So those are your one through three seeds. They're jockeying for positions right now. I think Milwaukee or Milwaukee's gonna hang on to the one seed. The Brute or the Dodgers are two games back. Actually, they're one and a half, because I don't know if they've played. Brice: All three of those are clenched first seed. Josh DeMage: I mean one, two, three and playoff standings, Brice: yeah. Josh DeMage: not their divisions. They've already won the division. And then Atlanta will be the three seed. They're too far back. They're 92 and 65. but the National League wild card, I'll tell Roy Clapp: We're good to go. Josh DeMage: you what, it's not a debate on who's gonna be in, basically. It's gonna be the Cubs, Padres, and Phillies, but the order is up for debate, and that's awesome because that's a home playoff game or a road playoff game, and that's a big difference. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: currently how it sits as we record. The Chicago Cubs would host the San Diego Padres in Chicago, and the Phillies would go to Atlanta to play the Braves in a three-game series. But that Cubs, Padres, Phillies could alter in any way. so that is absolutely not a lot. So, with that being said, Bryce. First, I want to ask you, who would you rather play? It doesn't matter home or away right now. Atlanta, San Diego, or Philly? Brice: I think Atlanta's probably the worst team in the NL playoffs, in my opinion. Josh DeMage: Okay, so you'd at that point you would hope to be the sixth seed, the last seed in, which I mean really doesn't matter, you're still in. Brice: See, here's the thing is I wouldn't because I still want to be a home team. Roy Clapp: Okay. Josh DeMage: Okay. So you would r that that actually leads me to the other question. You would rather be a home team than figure out who you play. Brice: Yeah, I I actually saw Anthony Rizzo and David Ross talking about it on a podcast today. And Anthony Rizzo's like, We should get the last seed that way we play the Braves who we match up well with, and then get the Dodgers, who we also match up well with and I'm like, Yeah, we match with those two teams but those are both away games in playoff atmosphere. Josh DeMage: Yep. Brice: That's just that's tough. Josh DeMage: Yeah, this first series, no matter who you play, if you're the road team, you're a road team, all three, if it takes that many. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: you will not play a home game. So, and then you would start assuming yeah, because you would play one of the one two one or two seeds, you would start the first two on the road against them. So yeah, it'd be a lot of playoff road games to start, but yeah, I'm really fascinated. I watched San Diego play over the weekend in San Diego. Electric environment. And you could tell that it was all it wasn't a playoff game, but you could tell they were rampant for the postseason. It was seventh inning, late, and it was still sold out. It was just a great environment. not to change the subject, I got to see the San Diego Padres, Dodgers, and Angel Stadium. Had a good time out there. San Diego had the best stadium I've seen by far. But yeah, Roy, I don't know if we can hear you right now. yeah, I can hear you good. Roy Clapp: Can you hear me? Brice: Yeah. Last phone now. Roy Clapp: I just switched to my phone, it said screw it, I got off the stupid computer. Josh DeMage: Yeah. all right, Roy. Then let's talk about the AL here a little bit. Yankees are gonna be the number one wild card. They've already locked it in. They're ninety nine point nine nine, gonna play Boston. I think the only way is if Boston loses out and the Rangers or and the White Sox and the Guardians both win out. I think that's the only chance they don't play Boston, which is not gonna happen probably. Roy Clapp: Yeah, we're just playing boss. Josh DeMage: Yeah. thoughts, predictions, what do you think? Roy Clapp: I'm not, mean, with when you got to the pitching staff that we have, I'm not too worried about the short series against Boston. I think we can outpitch them. It's the hitting I'm still a little worried about. I've been actually encouraged by some of the hitting we've done lately. I'm kind of getting, you know, am I concerned that it was judge going to be able to come back? I don't know. You know, that's early in the postseason. I'm not worried about judge. It's later, know, when it longer the series, you longer in the playoffs, the more you're going to need to hitting. so that's where I get concerned. This, the first series, I'm not worried playing Tampa or anything longer. Yes. Then that's where we're going to get some trouble. defensively, I think we finally figured out where we can play our defensive guys. I've actually been very impressed with our young guys, lately. So hopefully our bullpen is kind of come together. I still a little lenient, but when you get. The postseason don't let our starting pitching go a little bit longer, so which is better because our pitch, but they're going to move Warren to the bullpen. They'll move some guys. It will be better in the bullpen as we get into the playoffs. Josh DeMage: Yeah, I agree. yeah, Boston it Roy Clapp: The thing is, if you can get past Boston and Tampa, the other side is not that good. So the winner of these Josh DeMage: it's yeah, you're in. No. I agree. Roy Clapp: three is gonna probably be in the World Series, firing any injuries or anything going Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy Clapp: bad. Because the White Sox Guardians and Astros. I mean, just imagine the Astros are gonna be the, Josh DeMage: Astros slash Texas Roy Clapp: they're what? Josh DeMage: Astros or Texas, they're both tied. Roy Clapp: Well, just look at they are there. They could be the first losing division winner. I mean, that's ridiculous. So. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Yep. Yep. Yeah, and I think we've all stated how bad the playoff thing looks. yeah. Roy Clapp: Well, format's terrible, if we can get past, it's so much Boston, it's Tampa. The problem with Tampa is they just do little things right. Josh DeMage: Yep. Scrappy. Roy Clapp: And that's what kills us, kills us against them. But if we can hit against them, we'll be all right. Josh DeMage: Yeah, you know, most of the time going in, the Yankees are usually playing decent. I can't remember a playoff series or playoffs that the Yankees have come in like ice cold. again, it's not this year. They're playing decent. I I like our stuff against Boston. I think Boston wins game one. If they pitch Tully, we can't hit lefties. We just can't. He strikes out 10 plus at every nine. I expect to lose game one. I they gotta. Probably battle and win too straight, but I think we can beat Boston. I I actually take a different approach. I really don't think we have much of a shot against Tampa if we play They are just better than us. They I don't know how. They have double magic, but they're better than us. the Roy, you said it, they do the little things right. they put the ball in play, they bunt. It's gonna get cold, it's gonna get harder to hit. They can't hit already, but they somehow scrap runs across. So I I just think the Yankee season ends in the ALDS against Tampa. Roy Clapp: My problem with the Yankees, the Yankees have not been to a World Series without a superstar in their lineup. and a judge does not come in there, where's the superstar? mean, Cody Bellinger, yes, but I mean, without a superstar to carry the load, it's just gonna be tough. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Well, and let's be realistic, if Judge can play, he can only DH. And if he can only DH, guess guess who's not in the lineup? Roy Clapp: then you take, then what do you do with rice? Josh DeMage: Either Ben Rice or Luis Garcia Jr. are two best hitters. So someone's gonna Roy Clapp: Yes. So yeah. Josh DeMage: be sitting. so yeah, I just don't think the Yankees have a great chance this year. And, you know, as good as their pitching is, you look at that Boston series, they're one bad start away from being done. I mean You go out and throw Garrett Cole or, you know, Carlos Rodan and they give up five or six. I mean, you can just pretty much kiss it goodbye, because that's our true advantage. but we'll see. you never know. I've seen I've seen worse teams make it to a World Series, so all hands on deck. I'm excited. I really like since we start this podcast, we've had a good run of both our teams both being in the playoffs for the most part. So that's been a good run. So excited to see it. I'm really fascinated to see this in a wild card and the div the round play, the wildcard round the National League, because that's just I mean, those are World Series matchups that are being played in a wildcard round. I agree. Not even close. Roy Clapp: The National League is way better teams than by far. Josh DeMage: Every team in the National League deserves to be in the playoffs. I mean just got, I for some reason I see him as a fucking tiger and Josh DeMage: Yeah. The other another argument was Justin Verdlander. What do you see him as? Most people said Tigers.
