Josh DeMage: see you're below me, so that makes sense on my on my end. pod one forty six, we are doing Bryce's division, NFC North and Roy's division, 'cause he's a Lions fan, I think, at heart. Roy: I am not I am not an NFL fan, don't get I'm nothing. Brice: The calls man and horror. Josh DeMage: So we're gonna jump right into it, and we're starting with the NFC North. I will start with the fourth place, Detroit Lions. Everyone's picked to win the NFC North last year. They finished in last. Key additions, they go and add Ija Isaiah Pacheco from the Chiefs to be Jameer Gibbs' backup. Tyler Conklin signs backup tight end. They really didn't do a whole lot else other than that. they did sign Devin White and Peyton Turner, but Both those guys are in the back end of their career probably. Peyton Turner just hasn't been much. Teddy Bridgewater retired in camp. That was funny to see. and then the I mean that's really about it. They really haven't made too many moves. last year they just what's that? Brice: They they signed the past or not. Josh DeMage: Sure. I think he's gonna be the third string, so but yeah, I mean this team just was ravaged by injuries last year. Roy: Ha ha ha. Josh DeMage: they gotta stay healthy. I think this is one of the best teams in the division. And I I say they finished last. I believe they were nine and eight. So I mean if that's an abysmal season, then I mean I think you're doing pretty well. Brice: It was whoever they played the Vikings last game of the season. Whoever lost finished last. Josh DeMage: Yeah, so yeah, I think they were both nine and eight, if I'm not or Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: maybe one jumped up to ten, I'm not sure, but yeah. I'll tell you what though, something that does intrigue me about Detroit, this is as good of a team as you're gonna find the NFC this season. I mean the NFC is a little bit weaker in my opinion anyway. to play a fourth place schedule, gotta be gotta be nice for the I expect them to take advantage of that, so I expect Detroit to bounce back this year. Brice: Yeah, okay. I I do expect him to be a little bit better than last year just 'cause of the injury bug, but Jared Goff's getting old. I just I don't see he doesn't win in the playoffs. pretty much every playoff season they've had, with Jared Goff at the Lions, he's been the reason they lost the game. Like four interceptions, terrible play. He's really good during the regular season. He's a great quarterback during that time, but then he just people get pressure on him and they don't let him run the ball the whole time, and then he comes out. I think them losing or letting David Montgomery go and signing Isaiah Pacheco's a little bit of a downgrade. I think David Montgomery's still a really good running back. And Isaiah Pacheco I don't think he's that good anymore. He had the one good year in Kansas City and I just I haven't seen it since. So I think they will be better, especially playing on a fourth place schedule. I don't think they'll get last again. But I also find it hard for them to win the championship or win the NFT North this year just because they had they did not look the same. I get they had injuries without Ben Johnson though. They just their offense does not click like it used to. Roy: See, I I I'm kinda down on Detroit. if I don't know if you've seen their injuries, you know. But two they got two corners already hurt, one for out Arnold I think is out for the year, maybe. Josh DeMage: Arnold Arnold signed with Seattle. Roy: no, aren't some one of their corners got got is out for the year. I forget. I think with an ACL. The their defense is their is gonna be decent, but they're just not a deep team. That's what they've noticed. I think they pay a lot of guys, but they're just not you know, when the guy gets hurt, they just don't have anybody to play replace him, and that's what killed him last year. I think they'll be around about where they were nine and eight, their offense. Yeah, we'll see what they could do with Gibbs being the only back. Pacheco, I mean, he's younger, so that's why they did that's why they got him than Montgomery. If he can stay healthy I think he'll be all right. But it golf's I mean golf's just a make an average quarterback. I mean he can make the pla plays. He's got weapons all around him. I mean you got Laporta, you got St. Brown. If they can keep these guys healthy, maybe they'll win ten games, but I just don't I just don't know if that'll be the possibility. If they they can't they just seem to keep not gonna keep anybody healthy and they just don't have have the backups to do it. Josh DeMage: All right, third place. Bryce, you wanna take it? Brice: In third place the Minnesota Vikings. some key off season moves, quarterbacks, obviously they signed Kyler Murray to a one year, one point three million dollar deal, and they retain Carson Wentz on a one year contract. So they just have three clowns in the quarterback room right now. key signings, added inside linebacker Eric Wilson on a three year deal, and cornerback James Pierre on a two year deal. They brought in punter Johnny Hecker, defensive tackle Jonathan Harris and tight end Matt Lauder. and then they extended Brian O'Neill. so key losses, their cap restructuring. Roy: You see it? It says Detroit Lions. I'll see some moves. Brice: yeah. Never mind it. Weird. Josh DeMage: Well yeah, I don't know why that popped up your eye. That's crazy. Huh. I guess that's it for it. Interesting. Brice: Yeah, I don't really know what their off seasons like losses were. Roy: Just some offensive linemen they've lost. Brice: Okay. I'll talk Roy: I think that's about it. Brice: about them a little bit. they were I mean, they have weapons, wide receivers, running backs, their defense was really good last year. You saw it two years ago they won fourteen games with Sam Darnold and then for some reason they thought J J was better than Sam Darnold. Yeah, it's I I'm not gonna talk about J J. McCarthy too much. But That quarterback room Kyler Murray could have some type of bounce back season. He just hasn't had it in the pla in the NFL really in my opinion. He had one decent year and then he just got the homework clause and then he's got all these controversies and he's he just doesn't I don't think he fits in the NFL. I think he's kinda on his last chance to be a starter and not just be a career backup after this. So we'll see what they do. I don't expect him to do very much. There's just so much controversy in that quarterback room. Josh DeMage: I'll go next. I I I don't have a whole lot to say about Minnesota. I mean, they're gonna go as far as their quarterback play takes I mean, if if they have a year like with any of the three, you know, whoever the hell it is, like with Sam Darnold and they really play well, could this team be, you know, twelve and five and find their way into a a playoff spot? Yeah, they could. they have a good defense. I really like their head coach. I think he's a very good offensive minded head coach. they have one of the best wide receivers in the sport, as long as he stays healthy and he gets the ball to I d I wanna say Jordan Anderson's suspended or something like that. So yeah, I don't I don't know the exact time frame. Is it down a little bit, but still. It's gonna be as far as their quarterback play takes I think this team can be decent. I mean, I I agree with you, Bryce, that Kyler Murray hasn't been great in his career. He's had good stints in Arizona. But Arizona has not been good since they've had Kyler Murray, other than the the stint. So yeah. Brice: They had that one season where they were pretty good and Josh DeMage: What they had one year where I think they won ten games, and he was good that year. So Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: let's see what he looks like with a little bit of weapons, a little bit of offensive line, and a little bit good of a head coach, because that's another thing they they had. Well, they had three head coaches in Kyler Murray's career. Again, kinda hard to, you know, get rolling when you have a different coach in there every year. So I want to see what Kyler Murray looks like, but I don't think Brice: And and you just don't study the playbooks, you just play video games all night, so Josh DeMage: I mean yeah, so but maybe this year he's playing Madden instead, so we'll see. Roy: No, the problem is Kyle Mur Kyrom Kyler Murray is five eight. That is his fucking problem. When they r he had weapons in Cal in the car in Arizona. I mean, he's always had weapons out there. They were good that year. They went to because he r he ran the ball. He'd get out there, roll out, and then just run the ball. that's always been his calling card. Then he got hurt and he's not he's not the same running quarterback that he was. That's his biggest problem. this team, their offensive line was their was terrible last year. That's been their biggest problem. Their defense is really good. They got really 'cause they sp I mean they spent a lot of money on defense. They spent a lot of money on their weapons. everybody can bitch about JJ McCarthy's played ten games. Ten games in two years. So or something like that. So I don't have a problem. I think he he does have some learning curve to do, but I di I he'll Kyle Murray won't do much. He'll be he'll be benched or hurt within the first three or four weeks and they'll move on to JJ McCarthy or Carson wins one of so if they can run the ball the Brice: I just think JJ McCarthy he was taken way too high. He shouldn't have been thrown into a starting role. He should have had a year to sit behind, maybe two years ahead of time somebody. Roy: No, he should he should no, he I I think he should have sat. He should have sat for two years like you like that's w I mean that was the plan and then they didn't sign Sam Darnold and they just kinda threw him in there. And then they get he gets hurt the first year, didn't even play the first year. Had to sit there and with a bum knee. 'cause I like their coach, but th his cr the biggest criticism for him has been they do f I mean they do full contact all the time. And like he he's he that's been his it gets people hurt. And that's been his been his issue. They kept saying they're going to pull it back, pull it back, but it again in this camp. They got another offensive lineman get hurt. They've had some guy, Josh Jacobs, I don't know if he hurt, or not Josh Jacobs, Aaron Jones got hurt or something. Left to practice. I mean, the people get banged up all the time because he I don't know if he's trying to make it like a game time situation or what. But this team, I mean, they have the their defense will keep them in ball games. That's the difference. They're they're they're that good. they can run the ball with Jay with Mason and Jones, that should be all right. Josh DeMage: Yeah. All right, number two. And y noticed on Roy: so Josh DeMage: all of that little Detroit off season is at the bottom, so you can skip that. Roy: Okay, so Green Bay was the number two team. They lost in the wild card to Chicago. their big key additions were tackled Hargrave from the Vikings, quarterback Tyrod Taylor. God, that guy's still in the fucking league. Jeez. Linebackers Zaire Franklin, from the Colts and cornerback B Benjamin Saint Justice. contract extensions to Christian Watson, I could get a bigger screen. This is ridiculous. Sean Right Ryan and defense tackle Devontae Wyatt and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie. Major departure as Rashawn Gary to the shitty Cowboys. And then tackle Colby Wooden to the Colts and linebacker Quay Walker to the Raiders in free agency. I guess I'll go first. I mean their defense is a little suspect. but they keep him in ball games. I think Jordan Love's a good quarterback. I I think he'll I think he's got weapons galore. I can't remember if Josh Jacobs got hurt or he's gonna be suspended. Something he suspended Josh DeMage: he's gonna be suspended probably. Brice: Yeah, you like bit Roy: that's what it is. Brice: his girlfriend. Roy: What you have to be in the NFL nowadays, just beat the shit out of your girl. Yeah. Brice: He took a chunk out of her arm, I'm pretty sure. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: So he's gonna be I mean so I mean they got Christian Watson, I think is really good. Romeo D Dobbs is gonna be, I think, really good. Matthew Golden, I mean they got and Tucker as a tight end. They got some weapons for Jordan Love. What? Josh DeMage: I don't believe Romeo Dobbs is there anymore. Brice: Tucker was her all season last year. Roy: I thought yeah I thought he was still there. Josh DeMage: No Romeo Dobbs is on the Patriots and they lost another wide Roy: Wow. I'm way out then. Josh DeMage: receiver. Roy: But either way, I mean you got Golden and Who I say who'd I say the first Josh DeMage: So Roy: time? Golden and Christian Watson. I mean there's two good receivers. You got who was their backup running back. but either way, Jor I think Jordan Love will be a good I think this team will be and make the playoffs, they'll be decent. they'll make a run. as long as Jordan Wa Love can can t can you know, 'cause anytime you in the playoffs you can get up to Green Bay. It's gonna be tough to be you know, beat Green Bay and Green Bay. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Yeah, they lost Romeo Dobbs to New England and then Daytavi Daytomian Wicks. Day Ta I don't know how to say his name. Went to the Eagles. I'll go next. I think Green Bay's a solid team. They're really well coached. Matt LaFleur, really good coach, always has been. has hasn't won the big game a lot in his career, but I I don't I mean he's never made it to the Super Bowl, so I I really don't think that's much of an issue personally. last year down the stretch they lose I mean, let's be honest, their best player in Michael Parsons tour and ACL. I think that's what he did. I I know he did that. I just don't know if he did anything else. won't be ready, I don't believe. I think he's probably, you know, week four, week five kind of guy. which will help. Roy: Breast go. Josh DeMage: I don't know. I guess we'll just continue. But of course right before his team. but I still think Green Bay is solid. I think they're right in that playoff hunt. I would expect him to be a playoff team or just off. I their receiving room does make me a little nervous. Christian Watson's a good player, good deep ball threat, a lot of injury history with him. Jaden Reed been solid. Again, a little bit Roy: I forgot about Jaden Reed, that's what I was thinking of. Josh DeMage: of injury history there. Outside of that, they really don't have a whole lot. they're gonna run the ball well with Josh Jacobs. They're gonna hopefully play good defense for Mike Parsons. I kind of think it matters if they stay healthy. This team, you know, th they run into some injuries. I could see where this team could slack and, you know, fall to third or fourth in division, not play well. But when all healthy and playing well, this is a playoff team. Well, and then I guess l let's just Roy: Is I guess is he not coming? Back what Josh DeMage: skip it. We'll skip the Bears f for this one. We'll go down to the AFC. Roy: Bring him back. Josh DeMage: Yeah, we'll br we'll come back. 'Cause I'm sure he'll join. AFC North, fourth place. I'll I'll go first. I'll do it. Cleveland Browns. Browns extend or they acquired Tyus Howard from the Houston Texans. And then they have named Deshaun Watson their quarterback 'cause they have they cannot get out his contract. It's a hundred percent guaranteed if he's there or not. So they're gonna play him. they lose Yeah, I was like, they lost these guys. Wyatt Teller and David Njoku are both gone and they really didn't add a whole lot outside of that. they did add, which is not on here, KC Concepcion, number one pick for them, wide receiver. So, I I mean the Browns, I'm gonna be honest, th they're just not good right now. they got a new head coach. The their quarterback plays horrific. I I don't think Sador Sanders is the answer. Desha starting Deshaun Watson makes zero sense to me. It just there there's no upside. None. You can't trade him. Even if he played at an MVP caliber, you can't trade him because his contract's so big. I j I d I really just don't get it. It's gonna be a bad year and I expect to seem to be pretty terrible. Roy: Yeah, no, K Cleveland is absolutely a disaster of how I mean this new coach I think he'd be good, but you your previous people signed you know signing Deshaun Watson who's not not a good quarterback, not a good person, not a good quarterback. H why he's still in the league, that's just unbelievable. how things I mean, I understand you're under contract contract, but man. yeah, Shador Sanders is definitely not I I think he he's got more explosive arm, but I just don't think he's the I don't think he's the guy that to be a full time starting quarterback. This team's got weapons around you know, Junkins, you got Casey Concepcion and things like that. You've got people. It just I just their then their defense has always been decent. I think but they've lost some guys in defense. I just think this team I mean they they stay in ball games They make it interesting, but they're not they're just not that good. Josh DeMage: Yeah, I don't know how on when I did my AI thing for the Cleveland Browns. I don't know how the departure of Myles Garrett didn't find its way on there. So I Roy: No. Yeah. Josh DeMage: I like the direction they're trying to go. You know, I agree. Miles Garrett's an I mean an unbelievable superstar. He's the best defensive player in sport, in my opinion. They got a good return for him. I did. They got two first round picks and a true edge rusher that's ready. Roy: 'Cause they have to do that. They gotta get that stuff done. Josh DeMage: so I liked it. But it's just not their year. They're just not there yet. Next one, Cleveland Browns. Cleveland Browns. I'm looking right on. Cincinnati Bengals. Roy: The Cincinnati Bengals. Josh DeMage: third place. They missed playoffs last year. They acquired Dexter Lawrence in a blockbuster trade that traded their first round pick. So they they trade, I think it was like 17, 13, somewhere in the teens or like that. So basically one for one, Dexter Lawrence for number 13. They signed Boy Mafe from Seattle. Three years 60. They signed Jonathan Allen. And you'll catch a trend here. That's really it. I don't have to go over everyone. They resigned Joe Flacco, Roy: No. Josh DeMage: if that means anything. defense, defense, defense. And that's what this team needs. They don't need any more on offense. Sure, could their offensive line be better? Yes. Could their tight end play be better? Yes. But that offense is good enough with the receivers they have, the running back they have, the quarterback they have. They need defense. And if that defense, it really, I'm not saying it's the same as Dallas, but like if they can just have a average defense, that's a playoff team or a team right there for the playoffs. another thing that this team could struggle with is health. They they have historically not been healthy. but if they're healthy and that defense can play average football, this is a good football team. Roy: Yeah, the I mean, we're on the Bengals here, Bryce. We'll go back and do it. We haven't done the Bears yet. Brice: Okay. Roy: the b the Bengals yeah, defense has been their issue for quite a while. They've got weapons everywhere. Chase Brown, you know, Jim Jim Jamar Jamal Ch Jamar Chase, Josh DeMage: Jamar Chase. Roy: and Hegans. They got guys. Joe Burrow can't stay healthy. I he got hurt in training camp already, just s you know, a bruised calf or whatever they call it. And then Brice: More twisted too. Roy: yesterday freaking Chase got hurt. Josh DeMage: Luckily he's okay though. Roy: that's what they're saying, but you know, sprain ACL and you know, who know you know, different that never that that takes a while to heal, so and get better. So we'll just see have to see. it can the seems stay healthy on offense, can d can his defense improve? That's that's all they need to do. Josh DeMage: Yep. Bengals, Bryce. Brice: Yeah, the Bengals I don't know if the kids already said it. I I heard you say something about their defense being terrible. And it has been, but their offensive line has also been terrible. Joe Burrow's entire career, that's why he's always hurt. He I mean he's taken the most hits out of a quarterback in a season. I think he holds the record. Can you guys still hear me? Am I frozen? Josh DeMage: Yep. You froze for a little Roy: Yeah, you just put your freight f you just froze for a minute. Josh DeMage: bit. Brice: Okay. Yeah, s and then it sucks 'cause then they go out and they just keep acquiring offensive weapons, offensive weapons, offensive weapons and they just expect to outscore everybody. But whenever you literally are just throwing out one or two guys on defense that are worth this shit, you're just not gonna outscore anybody. I don't care how good your offense is. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Rice, we'll come back to the Roy: All right. Josh DeMage: we'll come back to the bears. We're just gonna finish this side. Roy: All right. The second place team was the Baltimore Ravens. They missed the playoffs. They moved on from John Harbaugh to Michigan or to national champion Jesse Mentor as their head coach. Free assigned free c free agent Trey H Hendrickson to a four year $112 million. They got John Simpson as guard. You got Jalen Jalen Hawkins. who's that? Josh DeMage: Tadobie. Roy: And then Tyler Hunt Huntley has another as her backup again. Josh DeMage: He's had like four stints there. Roy: Yeah, that guy. And he always ended up playing. 'cause Jamar Ch J Lamar Jackson keeps Brice: That's where you fit. Roy: getting hurt. this team they're gonna be interesting. They're gonna be able to play defense because I think that's I mean, that's Jesse Minter's calling card. Though their defense will be decent. I mean they lost some players, but they still got they guess they still got weapons. Their offense has been their issue. I mean, they they they got Derek Kendry and they Lamar Jackson. Lamar Jackson just can't stay healthy. When he's on the field and playing really well, I mean that team is unreal. Zay Flowers, you know, Mark Andrews, they got weapons. Can this team you know, they missed the playoffs last year 'cause I think Lamar how many games did Lamar Jackson miss last year? Josh DeMage: He missed more lasher than normal. Roy: Yeah. yeah. Mm six. So Brice: They also started off the season terrible. Yeah. Josh DeMage: Yeah, they were like what, one and six or something like that. And then they basically won out and barely missed playoffs. Roy: This team could be really good if they just if they can stay healthy and they're w gonna be well coached. I I just I this team's an inter a team that's interesting me. just see how this how a newer newer zeme comes in, how it can really change Josh DeMage: Yeah, yeah, I'll go next 'cause I don't have a whole lot to say 'cause Roy really took it. I I was gonna say this this is one of the more fascinating teams to watch because they lost every portion of their coaching staff. So I mean usually when a new coach comes in they do clean house, but like they lost a The thing that John Harbaugh did when Lamar Jackson became the starter, I believe it was the second season. He totally transformed how he played offense to go around Lamar Jackson. And ever since then, the you know, they're in the shotgun almost every play. They're running zone reads, they're running QB draws, you know, the everything is designed around him. Now when they got Derrick Henry, saw a little bit more under the center traditional, but still, everything was designed around him. Let's see what this new regime looks like. Do they fully commit or do they ask Lamar Jackson, hey, we need you to throw it a little bit more in the pocket. We need you to do it, you know, a little bit more. Because Mentor, like you said, Roy, defensive coach, I'm not gonna say that he's gonna give the keys to whoever the offense coordinator is, but Ground and pound, run the clock. That's what defensive coaches like. They like that time coming off. So I'm really curious. I just want to see what the the flow looks like, what the offensive sets look like for Baltimore to see h how different they are than they've been the last what, ten years, eight years that Lamar's been there. So Brice: Yeah, I was just about to say this team has literally been the same team for ten years. They have an elite defense, they have Lamar Jackson who is consistently a top four or five quarterback in the league when he's healthy. They have Tyler Huntley every other year who can run the exact same offense that Lamar Jackson does because he just runs the ball all the time. And they just lose every year. They get into the playoffs and it just seems like Lamar Jackson shits his pants. I mean, maybe a new coach is what they needed. They clearly couldn't get it done with arguably I thought they were best team a couple of years in a row. And then Josh DeMage: Yeah. Brice: especially Lamar's MVP season, a couple seasons after that. Josh DeMage: The actual one. Brice: Somebody has to get it done. So the a new Josh DeMage: Yeah. Brice: coach is probably the best thing for right now. Josh DeMage: And then the Pittsburgh Steelers, they won the division last year with Aaron Rodgers and lost the wild card to Houston in the first round. They signed Rico Dowdle from Carolina to be one of their backs. They also signed Jamal Dean, I believe he was in Tampa. it's where I know him from. and Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: they also signed Mike McCarthy to be their new head coach. and for I I threw it in this for Bryce. Roy: Reuniting with reunion with Aaron Rodgers. Josh DeMage: They also added Jaquan Brisker. From the Chicago Bears to play Brice: More star. Josh DeMage: safety. and Mike Tomlin is out as their coach. Yeah, gonna be a totally different look. Aaron Rodgers is still their quarterback. they do have DK Metcalf. I don't know why it's not on here. Some AI is pretty pissed poor. They added Michael Pittman Jr. from Indianapolis to be another wide receiver. I've liked their moves. This is one of those teams that I always look at now Mike Tomlin's not there. They're just so average. They're just so average in everything. But they're not bad in anything either. So they just sit around that 500. Some years they sneak in, some years they get out. They always lose in the first round no matter what. I think this team can be good, but I'm gonna be honest, at this age, I just don't know how much Aaron Rodgers can really pull them forward. But I also think with his age and his, you know, how good he is at playing quarterback over the long haul, I don't think he's really going to be detrimental to their team either. They're going to run the ball well. Mike McCarthy likes to run the ball. But the defense does have some questions to me, so we'll see. Brice: Yeah, the reason DK's not on here is 'cause he played for him last season, Josh. Josh DeMage: What's that? Brice: DK Metcalf was on the team last year, who wouldn't be a the addition. Josh DeMage: DK Metcalf's still on the team. Brice: I know, you said I don't know why he's not on this list. It's 'cause you Josh DeMage: I said Michael Pittman Jr., didn't I? Brice: well, before that you said DK. Josh DeMage: I was talking about Michael Pittman Junior being the addition. Brice: Yeah, this team they've been the most mediocre team in the world for the past couple of years. I I just don't think Aaron Rodgers has much left. He watch him play, he just seems slow. He se he seems super easily frustrated with players just 'cause I mean, he's probably got an insane amount of knowledge about the playbooks and stuff and then he's got these young guys and he just seems to get flustered during games. Might change with Mike McCarthy, a similar a guy he won with, so I think that they'll probably still be around five hundred. I just don't think that their offense is quite there yet. I think their defense is still stacked. I did Jaquan Brisker, I loved him, but he's just so injury prone, we had to get rid of him. So I don't have much else to say about the Steelers. Roy: I think this team is, yeah, like you guys said, it's gonna be an average team. I mean there'll be around 500, probably be in the playoffs. Their defense I think improved with some of the additions they had. they still had, you know, I think this team will still be, you know, battle tested. They'll be really good. Whether Aaron Rodgers can last the whole season, his problem he hasn't adapted to he doesn't have the arm strength that he used to. So when he zipped the ball to people that back in the day, that was better. Now he has he's he doesn't I don't think he's figured it out. I don't have the zip that I used to. And whenever we didn't get turnovers, it was hard for us to win ball games. This year they completely revamped the entire backfield. They're all gone. Jaquan Brisker, Kevin Bayard, That dude from Philly who's and s and the Saints, who's been on every Super Bowl team ever in the last twenty years. CJ Gardner Johnson. And Josh DeMage: Yeah. But I'm just I really think if our secondary can show up, I'm hoping for a Max Crosby trade, but I just don't think it's gonna happen at this point. yeah, the defense is the the biggest thing for me in the secondary. I mean, I'm gonna be honest. I do not believe yet Romo Dunze or well and w Burton didn't really have a chance, have not played a true number one receiving amount yet. Will who's going to step up? They someone has got to become A maybe they don't have to play like an all pro wide receiver yet, but they someone has got to be a guy. You know, someone has got to take a jump. Brice: Well, I really think that's gonna be cost of the model, but Josh DeMage: And then yeah, like you said, Bryce, the secondary. even before the injury, the secondary was still scary. a lot of young guys, the men, use new guys, new system. And then when yeah, the corner goes down with the injury, Bryant, that really hurts because now you gotta add another guy to throw in there that probably wasn't expected to play full-time, maybe a rotational piece that is now full-time. So Yeah, I just I need I need to see the development of the young players for the Book Bears who are stepping up into full time roles. And if they don't take that step, that gets me nervous about their p future. Roy: Yeah, you guys both said it. The defense is a little scary. I think you you ha you gave up way too many yards. can they change that? That's the question. And can your c your de your D Bs you know, the NFL it's the how good your secondary is usually kinda prevents you gets you better. yeah, and like Josh said, does your receiver core take the next step? I think Caleb Williams has got, you know can get it to him. he needs he needs to throw the ball faster. that's that his development needs to be a little better. But I mean he went from the first year having a t terrible offensive line. A little improved last year. They added some pieces this year.
