I must have done something well. what are we gonna talk about today? I wanna know what's up with you. What's going on? Well, I just did my first show with you as you hosted it. My first comedy show stand up. It was super nerve wracking. I was way more nervous than I should have been, because it went a lot better than I ever anticipated. The jokes landed like they needed to, and people laughed. Smoky, dirty bar, it was the best. Okay, so I've done this show before and Brynn's been in the audience. I need you to tell everybody what the audience is normally like and how it was different from the night we won. We all went. So first off, when we showed up the first time, this one, Seth, makes me dress up in a Halloween costume and he's like, It's a Halloween thing, yeah. And I was like, Okay, so I'm dressed as a Slytherin, looking like a dumbass. And Seth looks like I looked like I have to describe the outfit. I'm I'm in tall black I have this huge lace like robe type thing on and I have on mascara and like a gothic choker and and like dark nails. And then that hat over there. And then that hat over there. okay, so then scene, we walk into this bar, Bryn's from Slytherin, and what do I always say look like? a transvestite that was from American Horror Story. my gosh. Yeah, I can definitely envision this. And then the crowd when we get in. Is this like most blue collar crowd you can think of? Looks like they're the biggest Can I say Trump supporters? I guess so. They're not here. and then I just feel like a Up because not one single person is dressed up in there. It was just you two. Yeah, just genuinely. Well, and the host messed me met me the night before and told me to wear a costume. So I was like, Bet, no problem. You can't tell a gay to wear a costume and then us not wear a costume. It sounds like Vivian and legally blonde when she tells her to come to the party. Yes. Was she fucking with me? Because guess how many other people were in costumes? Zero people. None of It was literally just. She was trying to call your bluff. Well don't call a gay's bluff. You'll get shit on your hands. Okay, you will, like legitimately. or maybe not legitimately. Okay, but okay, the crowd that night was probably ten, twelve people. If that. If that, and then you add maybe six comedians. But Chris over here How how was how big was the crowd the night you showed up? I think there was about sixty that were in the crowd. We had a pretty good rally of people. That's one thing I'm pretty good at is if we're gonna get together, I can bring a crowd. Yeah. I can manipulate, bully, plead, beg, threaten, and I'll bring a crowd. That's actually really funny. I was I was really shocked because we thought it was I didn't know that we thought it was gonna be a little crowd but I've done that show three times now and it's always been a small crowd. Yeah. Lots of hot straight guys too. yeah. And there was a bar fight. Yeah, there was a bar fight. yeah. During Big Dick's performance. I'm so glad it wasn't mine because I would have gotten a felony. Uh-huh. What what would you have done? Me? I would have just went back there and hit somebody with a pool stick and got back on stage. You don't care who's right or wrong. Yeah, this is my show. Okay, so That was your first time performing. Yes. This was June 24th. Right. Right. and how did you hear about that show? From you. you had posted on Facebook that you were having a show looking for comedians and kind of put a little bio in there that whether you're new or not, it's gonna be, you know, an experience. And I had always been pressured and pushed by like close family and friends to do comedy because I've just naturally, you know, used my trauma as comedic relief. And I've always been able to make people laugh, but I've never had the courage to do it. And I'll be honest, my mother was guilting me that day and was like, You're the only person that's ever held yourself back. And if you don't do this, then blame yourself for not ever doing anything. Hold on, pause one second. Your mother was guilting you, as in like spiritually was like laying it on you? Well, so no. So, like my birth mother, of course, has passed away, but I was adopted, and so my mom was staying with me and Jackson. Yeah, enter the trauma. And Jackson, who is Is my soon to be husband was pressuring me in front of her because he knew that she would be the person that would just like do that nasty guilt your mom does, like brings everything up and reminds you of all the shit you've done. And so that's kind of what happened. And it I honestly was pressured to message you, so I instantly did. And then I had a panic attack as soon as I had done it because I'm like, What the fuck am I doing? Like what on I was gonna make do it. Yeah, I yeah, and there's really not telling you no. Yeah. You told me no last time. yeah, but that's just because I'm frugal. Is that the F word I would use? Yeah. There's a few F words. Yeah, long Summer with three letters. Like a like a like an English cigarette? I was thinking He was gonna call me fat. okay, good. No, don't have to say no, it's exactly like that. That's so embarrassing. Okay, so you you messaged me and you were like, let's fuck this up and then I was like, Hell yeah, let's do it. So I'm curious how a new comedian, like, how did you like prep and like get these ideas for stories in your head? So I always try to like remember jokes that I tell to people, you know, just because I'm that person that in a crowd I want to make people laugh, just so that there's nothing ever awkward. Right. And so I just remember stories and things like that that I had told in the past and just constantly messaged you and was like, What the fuck am I doing? I'm so nervous. I feel like I'm gonna throw up and you gave great advice, you know. Being comedic is telling stories. And you had shared with me that if I can make one joke land, that's great. If I can make two jokes land, that's fantastic. Three or more, I'm a pro. Yeah. And so I think that was just kind of something I aim for is just making sure that what I told people landed the way that I needed it to land. And there's a couple things that bomb, but honestly it's kind of a learning experience for your crowd because I think the crowd that you're presenting to and trying to entertain affects a huge portion of your comedy and what you're trying to portray to other people. Cause not everybody's gonna think you're fucking funny, even if you are, and I know that I am. yeah. No, I feel that 'cause the the few times I've done that. I'm I know that I'm funny at weird flex, I know, but that it just I mean, you've been there, shut up. For anybody who can't see Brent's stupid face He was like, No, she can't, she's not funny. I get it. I cried the entire time. It was so funny. I could not stop laughing. I thought the timing was fantastic. I don't I think if I've ne if I had never mentioned that you were new,
