DELTON DEAL: Hey guys, welcome back to Yavage Delton. This is the place where we discuss real life, real loss, and the things we carry that most people never see. No filters, no judgment, just truth. Think about this statement. All you want to do is change lives. Have you ever had a moment when you realize that what you really want out of this life isn't money or fame or recognition? You just want to make a difference. You want to help someone, you want to encourage someone who feels like giving up. You want to be the reason someone believes in themselves again. You simply want to change lives. And maybe that desire has been inside you for a long time. maybe you've always felt like there was something more you were supposed to do. Not necessarily something huge, not necessarily something that puts your name in light. Maybe it's simply being there for other people. Listening when someone needs to talk, sharing your story when someone needs hope, teaching what you know, giving someone an opportunity, or simply reminding another person that they matter. Because sometimes changing a life doesn't look like changing the world. Sometimes it looks like changing one person's world. You know, we often think in order to make an impact, we have to accomplish something extraordinary. We think we need a massive platform, thousands of followers, a successful business. Maybe it's a book or a nonprofit or a title. But the truth is, some of the most powerful people in our lives may never be famous. They're the teacher who believed in us when we didn't believe in ourselves. They're the friend who stayed when everyone else walked away. Or the parent who sacrificed so we could have a better future. The coach who pushed us beyond what we thought we could do. Or the stranger who showed kindness one day when we desperately needed it. Those people may never realize the impact they had, but they changed a life. And maybe that's what you're called to do. Maybe you're not here simply to build a life for yourself. Maybe you're here to build something that gives other people hope. You know, to use your experience, even the painful ones, to help someone else navigate theirs. Because your struggles can become someone else's strength. Your mistakes can become someone else's warning. Your success can become someone else's inspiration. And your story can become someone else's reason to keep going. Think about everything you've been through. The disappointments, the failure, the moments you questioned yourself, the times you felt overlooked, the doors you closed, the people who hurt you, The seasons you had no idea what was going to happen next. And the time you may have wondered, why am I going through this? You know, but sometimes we don't understand the purpose of a chapter until someone else needs the wisdom we gained from it. Your journey may not have been just for you. maybe someone is going to need your story. Someone is going to need to hear how you got back up. The failure isn't the end. They can start over. that is possible to become stronger after being broken, and that's where lives begin to change. Not with perfection, with authenticity. You don't have to have everything figured out to make an impact. You don't have to be perfect. You don't have to have all of the answers. You just have to be willing to show up, be willing to care, be willing to serve, be willing to say, I've been there too. Because sometimes people don't need someone to fix their problems. They need someone to remind them that they're not alone. And here's something that's important. all you want is to change lives, don't underestimate the small things. A conversation can change your life. A compliment can change your life. An opportunity can change your life. Forgiveness can change your life. one encouraging text message can save a life. One person believing in another can change a life. You may never know how far your kindness travels. You may never know who remembers something you said years ago. You may never see the full impact of the seeds you planted. Plan it anyway, because changing lives isn't always about being remembered. It's about being useful. it's about leaving people better than you found them. It's about asking yourself, who can I help today? Who needs encouragement? Who needs an opportunity? Who needs someone to believe in them? And then doing something about it. Imagine if we all live that way. Imagine if success wasn't measured only by what we accumulate, but how many people became stronger because we were part of their journey. Not only by what we accomplished, but by who we helped accomplish something they never thought was possible. That's a life of impact. So if you've been feeling that pull inside of you, that feeling that says, I want to do something meaningful, listen to this. Don't wait until you're rich. Don't wait until you're famous. Don't wait until you're ready. Don't wait for permission. Start where you are. Use what you have. Help who you can. and remember, you don't have to change everyone's life. You just have to change the life that's right in front of you. Maybe today that's a friend. Maybe it's a family member. Maybe it's a student. Maybe it's a stranger. Or maybe it's you. Because sometimes the first life we have to change is our own. Your life has a story. Your life has value. Your experience has meaning. And somewhere out there, someone may be waiting for the exactly what you have to offer. So keep going, keep growing, keep showing up, keep giving, keep believing, because your life may be the only sermon some people ever hear. So make it loud. I'm the average Delton.
