speaker-0: Sure. speaker-1: Podcast with your girls Brefa and Jackie. speaker-0: Thank you for being here today. speaker-1: Thank you for being here today. Happy Wednesday. Bar Hashem, it's Wednesday. But for us. speaker-0: Trucks speaker-1: Yeah, I'm deaf. speaker-0: What we do for the googgies. speaker-1: What we do for the wiggies. speaker-0: Someone told me over on diff, she's like, I didn't have time to listen this week. And all I kept thinking is if I can't find time to listen, how did they find time to record? speaker-1: First of all, thank you so much for thinking of us 'cause it's genuinely impossible with like being in this especially not having Sundays, like it's it it really is challenging. But Amir Tashab, it will get much easier now that we're in routine. speaker-0: We made it. We did it. speaker-1: We did it. We did it, Joe. speaker-0: We did it, Chuck. speaker-1: ⁓ I have so many thoughts and feelings and also I keep seeing ⁓ this Tanya Zuckerbrat Emily Gallis effect or situation and like I really I was never holding in this so I've been waiting for you to explain it to me. Okay. speaker-0: ⁓ First of all, what I'm seeing now, I just like just put my phone back on so it's like popping up. People are like, her name is really Tanya Sugarbread. Like I guess people were like looking up what circle mean, which is like, also why are you doing that? It's someone's last name. You don't need to like look up what it means. But her last name apparently means sugar bread. speaker-1: Fresh. Okay. And my last name originally was a Hasidic dynasty. What does that mean? speaker-0: No, but like also Tanya's last name being sugar red is funny to me. speaker-1: ⁓ Chris is she's that faster. speaker-0: Like Tanya, you know, like sugar bread. ⁓ yeah, literally, like you guys know, like I'm not holding it. Usually it's Jackie that has to fill me in on everything. It just happens to be that like when this was all going down, the Emily Gallis, Tanya stuff, like I was so tuned in. I must have been like going through my own personal things in life that like it was my outlet. I don't know, was it COVID? I don't know, but I was hooked. Hooked on phonics. I was hooked. speaker-1: I actually remember you trying to explain it to me and you kept saying like I have to go there live or I have to you like you kept having to like leave the conversation because like you had to like get and I remember like being in my kitchen, it was before I did my kitchen. Like I remember like you trying to explain to me it like such a big deal at the time. And then also we have a friend who like also was impacted by F F I really want to hear from her because she was like speaker-0: Here for her. Like, you know, we do not really have guests on this podcast. Like, I want to have bring her on, call a friend right now, like get her on the line. speaker-1: You were like texting her about it because you were so invested and like she was also like, Yeah, I had these symptoms from F actor So like speaker-0: Let's just explain for like those who don't know. There ⁓ is a diet called the F Factor diet. Tanya Zagrat is the founder of the diet. speaker-1: This is tiny sugar bread. speaker-0: It's on your sugar bread. And she's like, please, we're not eating no bread no more. We're gonna only eat these Gigi crackers. speaker-1: It's all fiber based, like fiber diet. speaker-0: Yes, high fiber diet. and I'm sure everyone was like I was gonna say a victim to the Gigi bread cracker, but like I'm scared to say that, but like everyone was affected by the Gigi the Gigi crackers. it was like eating cardboard and I kind of pretended that like I love Gigi and avocado and Gigi and locks. Like no, I'd rather have the sugar bread, you know? But she would also make these smoothies. And people were like kind of had like a cult following. But just like every diet, I feel like has that. People have like their diets that they are really into and follow. And they're obsessed with it, you know? but then there was this influencer, Emily Gellis, and I forgot the initial way that it came up, that like she brought this diet up. I for sure knew back then. I just don't remember now. But she started posting About the F Factor diet. And then she just kept getting these DMs from people that had their own crazy experience of how they became sick from the crackers or sick from the powders. And she was reposting these messages and talking about it. And then it ended up being this like crazy feud where Jackie just reminded me they would go live and like it was really unhinged. I feel like I have an unpopular opinion, or maybe I don't. I I didn't really talk to many people about this. I think that like when it started, I thought it was like I thought what Emily was doing was not a crazy like everyone's eating these GG crackers, but wait, there's actually people are being sick. Well, I wouldn't know that people are being sick. So I think like for you that you're like bringing it out to the public and saying, like, hello guys, like you don't need to be doing this. This person's getting sick, this person blah blah blah, whatever it was. so I got that part. I wasn't but then she's also crazy. Like she's unhinged. and then like Tanya was saying how it was really affecting her mental health and how like she's not okay and how you're taking down her this whole like empire of a company that she has, but then also posting on vacation and then they would just go after each other personally, like investigate each other and like their husbands and Their families, like it was really dirty. It was really, really dirty. They both were playing dirty. ⁓ and then like years later, that Hulu episode came out about this whole thing. And I think the episode ends with like them going to court and then no one ever heard anything about it again. until now. Like that's even how I was introduced to Reddit. Because like people were would go crazy on Reddit, like talking about both of you know, whi whichever side you were on. and now the case finally ended. Like a years long case. And Emily had to make an apology video and she had to say exactly what was written with like no facial expressions, like she couldn't add anything. She had to say exactly that. I think Tanya has the rights to the video. So I I Like she's gonna post it everywhere. I already just like put on my phone after Hog and saw like different news outlets and are posting about it now because she has the rights to the video. And then I think Emily has to post it at some point on her own page. She did, okay. And then she has to keep it hint for a certain amount of years. And then when that's speaker-1: I think she did on Friday. what the court said. Yeah. Like is this like court stuff? Like you could you the court could force you to make an Instagram video? speaker-0: I mean the whole thing was based on Instagram too, so it's not crazy. Like the whole thing is based on Instagram. That's how she took her down, you know? and then and then she has to pay her five hundred dollars a month for forty years. speaker-1: That's crazy. It's crazy. speaker-0: Easy. So speaker-1: Wait, but I'm confused, like about the actual like what's the answer? Does the no, does the does F actor speaker-0: That's my question too. Like the lawsuit was basically that she affirmation, like that she was reposting these things without doing her due diligence and looking into it. Like she didn't read the F Factor book. She didn't like look into each one of these claims. But I think Emily the whole time was saying, like, I never had a GG. Like I I'm not on the diet. Like I am just reposting it. Like I'm not making this up. These are stories that, you know, Tali told me. speaker-1: Defamation. That's like their Yeah. speaker-0: Kali told me that apparently Tanya messaged Emily like a fake claim that she had a miscarriage and then she just reposted it. So they that they use that as like, look, like this isn't even real. I just told her that and she just now she's saying it gave someone a miscarriage when it's not true. I just made that up. speaker-1: feel like it was like a worthwhile like cause like yeah that should if if people are getting sick you should look into that but the wrong messenger do you know what I'm saying like not the right person to deliver yeah just research yeah she didn't like yeah yeah speaker-0: She's just on hinge. And then it just became a crazy thing. Like it ⁓ speaker-1: Just because just because ⁓ Tanya won the lawsuit, which I got for her, great, it was her business, but like it is her business, but like I don't still have an answer on speaker-0: Here's my question. ⁓ and this might be a dumb question. Tanya, you know, probably was able to get a ⁓ really, really good lawyer. Like she had the money to do that. Did Emily have a chance? Like let's say Emily had a crazy expensive lawyer. Like, would it is that really what it comes down to at the end of the day? Just had a really expensive like speaker-1: Honestly, like the more I learn about the justice system, the less just it it feels. money, like however good your lawyer you're as good as your speaker-0: Yeah, I don't know. Because like I just feel like at like she was just reposting what people were saying. And again, she's cuckoo. Like she's unhinged. ⁓ but also maybe I have maybe why can't why can't it be like I just reposted it, but like you as a consumer can now do your research. Look into it. Like, I don't know if it's true that it gives that it will cause a miscarriage, but someone's saying that. And now if you want to buy. speaker-1: Right. That's what I'm saying. speaker-0: This powder, look into that. speaker-1: Like how is no one suing Dumois? Like Dumois posts like blind items all the time, like without fact checking anything or empty. Like there's so many blind item like that just post like random gossip that is not verified. speaker-0: I think that's maybe how it even started. This is sounding familiar. You ⁓ like she might have posted it first, Jackie. You're like making me rem have a memory. That's maybe where ⁓ El Emily f read about it in the first place. speaker-1: ⁓ It might have been Interesting. speaker-0: Yeah. I'm just I cannot imagine. Like Tanya has been waiting so long to hear Emily post that video. ⁓ there's like a full clip of it on YouTube. Tanya just like posted the highlights of it. speaker-1: Anyway. Yes. But like as someone who knows like three percent of the whole story, watching I that video just like came up on my feed of Emily like reading from a computer screen or something and like with a totally straight face about like I'm sorry to Tanya, like her products are fine and blah blah blah. And I was like, What kind of nonsense is this? Like anyone with any like internet savvy, like who can like read through so like you know that's not speaker-0: Like if anything it might cause it might cause you more to be like, what is and go down a rabbit hole? speaker-1: Exactly. I'm like That's that's how I feel. I'm like, this is weird. This is not real. You know what I'm saying? Like if you can tell like what a real Instagram video looks like, that is not a real one. She's reading from something that someone is telling her to do. It's like she's being held hostage, you know what I'm saying? It's not no it's not a normal way to post. speaker-0: Yeah. I kept thinking like how many takes did she have to do of that? Like to get yourself in the mindset of like having to do this? Like she cannot stand this woman. Like this is the last thing that she wants coming out of her mouth. She has to do this. And like have to see it like all over. But I think you're right. And that's interesting that like it might have the opposite effect of people being like, This is weird. Like, what are what's a GG cracker, you know? speaker-1: Saying the whole time I'm watching this video, I'm like, that that's what's like, what is happening? Like, I didn't know about the lawsuit, I didn't know about speaker-0: My name is Emily Gellis and I am here speaker-1: Like someone free her. Like she is being chained. Like speaker-0: I'm interested. I Tanya's like since not posting about F Factor anymore, she like really shifted into the October seventh Israel thing as her entire speaker-1: Cover. speaker-0: What? speaker-1: Like her Havra did too. speaker-0: No, like her content. Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ that's, you know, her the personality of her page. ⁓ and I'm interested how she's gonna like does she merge the two? Is she like 'cause now F Factor is back. Like is she gonna do F Factor and Israel or is there gonna be like an F Factor collab with the IDF, like Hy Lim and F Factor? I'm just interested to see the direction of that. But I think they're both a little cuckoo and And yeah, that was ⁓ a good throwback, like speaker-1: So crazy. speaker-0: Yeah. No, but literally I would randomly tell you like where it happened at Emily Gauss and Tanya, like 'cause this was years ago already, you know? speaker-1: There's so many of those things. Like we should keep a list of things that like we used to follow, like so like Free Java. That's like the one that always comes back to me. Like I'm think I really think about her on a weekly basis. ⁓ but and then just like whoop, they're gone. Where did they go? But we speaker-0: Free god. What Jackie was saying before our friend was on the lawsuit. Like she was talking about like it was her name and like what happened to her when when she had the problem. speaker-1: She was like part of it and she was like telling us all about I mean Braho Braho was telling me all about her experience and it sounded so terrible. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: Fuku bananas. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: anyway, one of the craziest things that's ever happened to me in my life happened to me the other night. speaker-0: What? It's like speaker-1: On Friday night, no, on Chavez morning I woke up and I had a dream that I was at a wedding with my dad and it was like a really fancy wedding and I I ordered this Maza platter for Yantif, like in real life, and my dad served it at the wedding, so everyone ate it. And I kept explaining to my dad, like, why'd you serve the mazza platter? Like I bought that for my family and now there's none left because you served it at the wedding. Like that's that was for my family. And he's like, I don't know what you're talking about. And like we kept having this conversation at this like fancy wedding, whatever. Obviously, dreams make no sense. But in the background, there was a song playing. And when I woke up, I woke up singing the song. I made up a song in my dream. speaker-0: Do you remember it? speaker-1: I'm gonna have to sing it for you now. We've been singing it all. Goes like this. ⁓ sop mergreens, ⁓ sop mergreens, ⁓ so mergreens, ⁓ sop mergreens. speaker-0: That's good. I have so many questions. speaker-1: How did I make up a song in my dream and then remember it? It's not a song. speaker-0: And why is it about satra greens? speaker-1: My parents came over for lunch and I was singing it to them and they're like ⁓ it's like what is they're like what? speaker-0: There's something with it. There's There's a reason ⁓ that speaker-1: Like I'm thinking about like a farmer who's also Sotmer. Like I don't know, are they good they're and then and then it turns into Sotmer jeans. we d we've had like a lot of iterations of it since, but we all sing now ⁓ sopmer greens, ⁓ so mergreens, ⁓ sat mergreens, ⁓ so mergreens. speaker-0: Did you really enjoy your Maza platter? Like, I hope you were eating that and singing that song to just tie it all in, like. speaker-1: I can't get it out of my head. Like it's what I sing to the baby to go to sleep at night. Like But like Is that normal to like ha like Is this how Taylor Swift works? Like she dreams up her songs and just writes it down in the morning? Am I gonna be a millionaire? speaker-0: Very strange. How did you remember? A music deal. But isn't that greens? You heard it here first. speaker-1: Is that possible? Like, is it possible to cause I don't understand what's going on? Like I'm really worried. Like I think it's really freaky. speaker-0: It is. speaker-1: To like make up a song in your dream and be able to sing it in real life. No, we were all sitting, like it was the meal, obviously. Everyone ate my mazza platter. Not cool. But this was like like the band in the background. Like the whole time at the wedding, this was the song. And at the wedding it wasn't weird. Like it's not a weird song at the wedding I was at. speaker-0: Okay. Wow. Right. Maybe soon, like at other people's wedding, it won't be a weird song either. Like it's gonna be a new hit. Yeah. Like instead of the Beyonce, don't crazy in love. Are they still doing that? You know? ⁓ speaker-1: Kind of a bob. Yeah. What did you walk into? speaker-0: I don't remember. speaker-1: We did ⁓ Do levels by Avici. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: I'll never forget and like when Crazy and Love started playing at like my really religious cousin's wedding. ⁓ like just instrumental, I was like, ⁓ I was like ⁓ my god speaker-0: Remember like this year or last year when someone played the wrong version and like the real one went on at like a from wedding? speaker-1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. speaker-0: That's funny. speaker-1: So anyway, if you want me to AI Sotmer greens, I can. It's our next SAGC original. There are just so many different interpretations of Sotmer greens. Like, are is it like the a color? Is it like vegetables? Is it like speaker-0: Yeah, I think you should. Maybe there's like a reveal like rev rev green, you know. speaker-1: Margreen. just I I have so many questions for myself. Like, am I a Naveya? Like what is this? speaker-0: Nivy Ha I don't know, Jackie. But I like this for you. speaker-1: So you make up songs in the shower, I make up songs in my sleep. And like the first thing I kind of just like it's a a weird shift. It just says like speaker-1: Okay. We've had your ship from Sop for Sop Margree. ⁓ boy. speaker-0: Tom Khey Shabbos thoughts. And I feel like if now's the time, like let me just get that thought out of the way so I can erase that part. I was just thinking about Homchabis and it's such a beautiful mitzvah. But I think it's crazy how we do it. speaker-1: That we like drop it off at the house. speaker-0: Yeah, I think it is the most messed up thing that we do. And like please, if you can get anything from this podcast, like can we change that? Like, it's insane. Like, people are very into their mitzvah, like tomb play chavez. Like they are very into like they do the packing and they do the the delivering. And like if you people should be able to pack them. Go, you know, volunteer your time to pack to pack that. Mm-hmm. And then like ha have a driver. Just like you have Walmart deliveries and and all your local supermarket deliveries. And I'm just like so confused. How is it that we just have normal like why should your neighbor know if someone's getting to him clay shop? Because it's the most private thing and it's embarrass ⁓ whatever it is, like not that anyone needs to feel embarrassed if if they need that, but it shouldn't Be something that anyone needs to know. Like your kid don't need to go w dropping it off at someone's house. And there's such easy solutions to it. Like put it in a plain box and deliver it. Like hire people to just do that. I was and I was telling a friend that and she's like, I still remember. Like there are certain houses that I passed that growing up, I that was the house that I dropped at Tung K Shabis. And like I remember like speaker-1: Right. Yeah. speaker-0: It's just insane to me. It's a beautiful mitzvah. We should do Tonkre Shabbat. So so many people need Tonkhai Shabbos and you shouldn't feel bad if you get Tonkhaves. But I don't like that that's the system, that there are other Jewish neighbors just dropping it off. And that's beautiful that they want to help. But like Pay a delivery person to do it. Like it to me, it's crazy that it's not private. Like it's crazy. I'm scene. And like people bring their kids because it's like something that they do together. Like I bring my son every Friday. We go and we do tom khishads. Like, why the kid is in their class? You know what I mean? Like you you play baseball, you're like, ⁓ I I know this house. Like, and why should they be responsible to keep that secret and be like, and that's speaker-1: That's a very, very, very speaker-0: Something really big to hold to be like, you know, like I used to go to that house with my dad every Friday. It's just there's no reason for it. And it's crazy to me that this is how you do it. And if your community does it differently, I'm so happy and I'm sure that there's no way that everyone is still doing it like that. Like, please, I hope it's not, but it's so weird to me when I think about that. speaker-1: That is really weird. You're a hundred percent. It's so strange. speaker-0: So weird. It's like the most private thing. And it's like, I'm coming. Like, what? speaker-1: Like there's no reason for one dedicated person who's like a volunteer of the program, not like me. Do you know what I'm saying? Like speaker-0: Yeah, I want you to know that Tom Khai Shabbos once reached out to us and asked us if we could like have an interview with with someone who is involved with Tom Khai Shabbos because they wanted us to like destigmatize Tom Khai Shabbos because they find that there's a really big problem that there are a lot of families who need it but are too embarrassed to to get it and then it causes just like a lot of shalomai problems and it's just like, hey, let's just talk about it and make it that if you need it, like no shame, like sign up, you know. We didn't end up doing that 'cause that's not really what our podcast is, but tell us the message. speaker-1: I think this is a better solution to being embarrassed. I wouldn't b like not I'm saying like people would be less embarrassed if it wasn't their neighbors who are dropping it off. speaker-0: It's already like for someone to have to be in a position to ask for help from someone, they're already in a terrible feeling. When you have to take your simple kishan, I'm sure that hurts. Like, but to also know that, like, I wonder who dropped it off, you know? Of course. Like, ⁓ no, like, you know. And now friends with her. Like, it's just strange. Like, it's just so weird. speaker-1: I brought it speaker-0: Don't do that. Like I can't believe we're still doing that. It's it's so weird to me. speaker-1: So interesting. You're a hundred percent correct. I need to tell you about my yantif. Bracha, I had the most beautiful yantif of my life. speaker-0: Yeah, but I don't know. Wow, I'm so happy for you. What made it so special? speaker-1: So like had some like under-the-weather children, but not like severe, like minimally, right? speaker-0: Like sick enough that they're not like going crazy for candy and they're chill. speaker-1: And that like I needed to stay home, you know? Like I couldn't really speaker-0: So your young trip was beautiful because you had to stay home all day. speaker-1: I just like I can't I can't stress enough how much joy it brings me to be home. Like I'm not saying like 'cause I'm like scared of being out. Like I being at in my home in my cozy sweats, like I can't there's no more joy I feel than that. Like it I'm so happy to be here. Like if especially when it's raining or yucky, you know what I'm saying? Like I had to be home because some of my kids were sick, I had to take care of them, you know. speaker-0: Were they sad that they were sick and missing shoal? speaker-1: Yeah. Like we figured it out. Like my like one went for some of it. Like it wasn't like so severe, but like they needed some rest. Like they really needed some speaker-0: So I personally like loved being in Shul on like the holiday. ⁓ And then like ⁓ the rain part, I was so happy to I said like I'm going home and I'm getting into my soft pants and just like having a chill speaker-1: Really? speaker-0: I had jewels over and her family. and aka shelf control by Jay. Let's just say I have like eight garbage bags. speaker-1: So nice. It's amazing. speaker-0: but yeah, I was very and I was walking back in the rain. Also, this was funny because I was dressed like I was going to the beach and then there were people in black tights and like boots and it was very hard to know, you know. but most people I would say were in tights and boots and I was like in jellies. speaker-1: Yeah. sick. ⁓ but like basically like I like I have a baby also. So like I'm not going out late. Like I have an excuse to stay home. And like no I'm gonna use my excuse to stay home, you know? So at night I like dropped like I dropped off like some of the kids and then I came back and then like whatever we just like chilled, had a chill night. Like I went to sleep at like literally 8 30. Like I can't tell you how much joy this brings me. speaker-0: Here. But Jackie, I would rather be in shul with my kids like being crazy and like being in shrule than being home with my kids. 'Cause like I'm not like the kids are busy and they're not cashing my house and didn't talk to my friends. speaker-1: All my kids were not all my kids were home. The baby was home, so like baby's fun and like baby's an activity for the other kids. So it was fine. It was really fun. I'm so happy. speaker-0: It was a cozy. speaker-1: It was so cozy and I really like it really gave me like Simcha Syantiv. Like I really genuinely enjoyed it. Are you really Yeah Calamity Club? It's good, it's good. I'm enjoying it. ⁓ but let me tell you, I was thinking a lot about like what I was missing out on in Schul, like at night and during the day. I had to like go back and forth to like drop some kids off, get some whatever. speaker-0: Reading any good books or are we still? ⁓ my gosh. Okay. speaker-1: But like I didn't go inside. ⁓ because like the baby wasn't feeling well also. Like she was like all congested and like I couldn't tell if she had fever or not because like it was done sick, you know? so I just like wanted to stay outside. But ⁓ I was thinking, like, I don't feel FOMO for what I'm missing at Schul as a woman on Silkos Torah, right? Like my kids are in there having the time of their lives, like my husband's in there like engaged in the activity and like what is my role to stand there and watch like for hours and that's not enjoyable for me. Let me tell you, Bracha, I'm a girl who grew up going to Broadway, right? Like I have a high entertainment value level. Like like I need some razzle dazzle. Like don't like I'm not gonna watch you for four hours walking in a circle. Like have some curiosity speaker-0: with your friends and you're like kingy out with all the woman talking and king out, no? speaker-1: The men can invest some time and energy into this, put on some choreography, do some solos, like make it entertaining. We're literally standing there for so many hours, so many hours, and we're supposed to watch the men walk in circles and like speaker-0: mean I guess it depends on like what kind of show you go to because like mine was pretty entertaining. I had a drunk guy with the baby s he was sleeping on his shoulder. Like fun. I'll watch that. speaker-1: That's not fun for me. Like I want a choreographed dance routine. Like I want some like like pep in the step there, you know? I don't want to watch like the the boy the little boy on the shoulders, no offense. But speaker-0: Like speaker-1: I told him already. I said, like go like coordinate with your friends, like, like do something. Like do something big. Like put on some put on a show. Entertain us. You know, like we're we're bored. ⁓ but I just want to say to like anyone who's telling me, like, well, you could dance with the Torah, like that's not what I'm looking for. Like, I don't want to be involved with that. Like, I'm Cool. I'm totally like personally in my feelings, like I don't feel like left out by any means. Like I'm good. I don't need to like dance with the tour. I don't need to like have little kids on my shoulders. Like I don't need that. But like if I'm gonna have to watch it, then like just like do a little more. Like, you know, like we invest we're investing so much us women. We have the food and we have the preparations and we have the, you know, we're putting every all the logistics, the clothes, the shoes, you know, everything's coming together. Like, yeah, like You guys can put a little bit more effort into this dance. speaker-0: Okay guys, you heard it here first. speaker-1: First. I just think it's a I I think it's a reasonable request. As for someone who just like has a higher level of entertainment. Like I I just you know speaker-0: These boring peasants. Like, she's a cultured girl who needs more from them. So speaker-1: Can imagine the men like whip out like a choreographed dance? Like, how awesome would that be? Like on so many levels. It could either be horribly terrible or like. And by the way, I want you to know that like the men and the women come out of Schul at the end of the four hours, with like, or I mean, many more hours than that, but let's say like four hours, with completely different ex like speaker-0: I think I would warf. speaker-1: dis like on experiences of the day. Like Yeah, that's true. I was talking to my friends. I didn't go. Like this year I didn't go at all. And like for me that's lovely. But like I was talking to like my friends who like were women and like there. And then I was talking to Daniel who had like a t is having a completely different experience in there. Totally. So this is just like my speaker-0: Like so for me to just like sit and see my friends and get to schmooz with everyone is so fun. Like seeing my kids dancing with the Torah is very sweet. But speaker-1: I guess it's like a longer scene. sweet for like an hour and fifteen minutes. In my in my in my experience. Like I'd love to schmooze for like an hour and fifteen minutes. I'd love to watch it's just too long. No, it's too much it's too much downtime. Like I rather would be Friday pajamas. speaker-0: Jackie needs to find a new shool next year. speaker-1: my social battery like really like lower, like it it drains quick. speaker-0: I also was with my favorite baby, so that helped too. speaker-1: I have lovely memories from Simpas Torah, but I'm also like so like I don't speaker-0: Do you have any ⁓ success highlights to share? speaker-1: ⁓ yes, I do. But also I wanna say that like another part of success for me was like today it was like pouring rain and I walked to we did a potluck by Atar's house and I felt like I was like leaning into my like Drew Barry more rain energy. speaker-0: Love that, Jackie. Whenever it rains, you say that every single time it rains. speaker-1: Guys, there's this video of June speaker-0: Are you taking me seriously right now? speaker-1: I'm not. speaker-0: Sorry. My hair is whack. speaker-1: There's this video of Drew Barrymore and she goes out in the rain and like you see it like f like she has her phone up and like she's looking up and the rain's like falling on her glasses and on her hair and she's putting her hand in her hair like like like so happy in the rain, like just feeling it, you know, very Natasha Benningfield, feel the rain on your skin. ⁓ but it's so performative, like the video itself. Like And I think for Drew Barrymore, like that is her personality. Like she's being real. Like it's like such a crazy video to watch. speaker-0: Whenever it's raining, Jackie and I send each other videos of us doing that in rain. speaker-1: It's just so funny. But you know what? Like I really channeled my inner Drew Barrymore and I was just like, I'm not putting on a wig. I'm putting on a tickle. I'm walking to her house in a tickle and like a cozy sweater and a skirt and sneakers. I'm not like doing the whole Shaytel thing today because it's raining and like I'm gonna enjoy the rain. And I was just like, I'm letting it be. I'm I'm doing my version of Drew Barrymore. speaker-0: Lugs are crying today, Jackie. speaker-1: Literally. I was so joyful to just, you know, because I'll tell you, like me and my friends always discuss, there's like two types of energy you could bring to the table, right? You could bring like your shaytel energy or your tickle energy. And like some like a lot of times as a mom, you just have tickle energy, which is like bare minimum. And like on Yunte, if I try to bring Shaytil energy, but like it was raining and I was going to like a really good friend's house and I was thrilled to be cozy. So I was just it w it was it was good it was good for my mental health. speaker-0: Yeah. Also like if you're wearing a shazel then you put a raincoat on, it's h it's still hot. Like I don't want to be wearing a dress and a raincoat and a chazel. speaker-1: No. Exactly. Also like usually like the first days when I came to you guys, like I put the shadel in a bag under the stroller and then changed. The change when I got there. speaker-0: My gosh. You didn't have to do that. speaker-1: Yeah, I'm like I did this already. Like I'm done. speaker-0: Did not ha I didn't know that you did that. You did not have to do that. speaker-1: Listen, I'm trying. It's important to show your best self. but otherwise I worked all thalmoids, so nothing to your speaker-0: I was really jealous of you working all week, not gonna lie. speaker-1: I just wanna tell you, like it definitely like I don't have to go to the farm, it's so nice, but like I come home to it. Like I don't have any like you know when you come home from work? speaker-0: Yeah, yeah. Okay, I'm gonna tell you some like of my highlights. No. I don't know. These aren't high highlights actually. These are just a random thing on my notes at. Lola? From who verb sick is. ⁓ okay. The first one is being in the city and Marg, like, was like, I wanna do the Lula and that's it with the Chabad people and like I sh maybe I shouldn't have said which kid it was, but sorry I did. She dropped it and broke the pit on. That's first of all. speaker-1: Tell me. But if you like the chabad, like they speaker-0: And then Zev, I wasn't there, but Zev's like, and then I told them, ⁓ I don't know what that means, but apparently it doesn't really matter, I guess. Like I don't know what he was referring to. But he told them that. And they they're like, Yeah, so it doesn't really matter because the chatbada. It's always just like silent, like when you do that. speaker-1: Wait, can I tell you something really funny? My did I ever tell you about the Mahal in Hamas? speaker-0: The what? speaker-1: Machom in Hamas. speaker-0: I don't know what you're saying, but no. speaker-1: Okay. So my dad and my uncle, like a long, long, long, many, many years ago, made up this thing, a mahal in Hamas. It's not anything. It's like speaker-0: Like I it could be and I just wouldn't know. speaker-1: That's the point of it. It's a made-up phrase. So what they would do is they would use it in conversation with like other like rabbis, whatever, and be like, I don't know, it's a machum and amas. And like people are too embarrassed to say that they have no idea what that is. So they'll be like, Right, right, right. So when you just did that there, it's like it's like it's a machum and amas. Like the the pit on broke, but it's a machum and amas, you But one time my dad did it, like speaker-0: My gosh. speaker-1: With my like they were in like a the rabbi's share of their community. It was like a long time ago. And like he they raised his hands and like the rabbi like, Yeah, I think it is a Muhammad Rama in the sh and then he's like, Then we realized we took it too far. Like we could But then like Dandel uses it, like it's you could really catch you could really catch a lot of people by using it. ⁓ just like faking speaker-0: ⁓ my gosh. Like I would try it on Zev, but like it wouldn't work if I do it obviously. But I also think that like what are you saying? speaker-1: I feel like it would work like Yeah. I'd be like No, but you wouldn't know that it's nothing, but you'd be like, I don't know what that means. Can you explain it to me? speaker-0: What are you saying? I'm not familiar with her work. ⁓ yeah, so that happened. Okay, another thing that I wanted to tell you was that I watched Shark Tale and the Succo with my kids, like in bed so cozy and fun. I've never watched that movie. Jackie, I was cracking up the entire time. Like speaker-1: Ooh, Me neither. That's crazy. speaker-0: I couldn't breathe. My kids were like kept turning around me like Are you okay? I don't know why I thought it was the funniest movie and I've never seen it, but like go watch that movie. I thought it was funny. speaker-1: ⁓ Singh went off of Netflix as of October second, so like we watched our last celebratory Sing. speaker-0: My kids don't want to show it anymore. I'm always like you guys want to watch thing? I always wanna watch Yeah, they never wanna watch the things that I want. speaker-1: I wanna tell you every time I watch it, like my review, my such a good call review of saying is some of my best work on this podcast. speaker-0: Wow. speaker-1: Go go back to that. Like that was really good. I don't know how I came up with that, but that was good stuff. It was good content. And even Shark Tails, should I watch it? On Netflix. speaker-0: Yeah. I like I don't remember. another thing is that I showed Margot Annie for the first time and Annie was one of my like movies that I'd watch all the time. Annie. ⁓ the original Ops. and then the song I think I'm gonna like it here came on and I'm like, ⁓ I love this song And like we're listening to the words and it's like speaker-1: Which one? speaker-0: Someone will make you a bubble bath. Someone will clean your room. Someone will pick out. So it's like, obviously you love this one. That checks, like, you know, like. But I love You know like Denise will pick out all like amazing! Like I want all of that. speaker-1: I'm looking at Also, like yeah, everyone's taking care of all your stuff for you and you live in a giant mansion now. Sounds amazing. speaker-0: Yeah, it's so fun. Like she you're gonna make me a bubble bath, you're gonna do that, like ⁓ thing going to leg it here like that is so nice. speaker-1: I think I'm gonna like it here. speaker-0: But then we have the other version. speaker-1: Yeah, I don't even know that one. speaker-0: No, it just it just left my brain. I think I'm gonna like it here. Mm-hmm. Do you think if I put a face mask on right now I'd still be able to record? speaker-1: No, please don't. I I can't open and close my mouth when I put a face mask on. I wanna tell you that like one day of Holomoid, basically we were in Jersey for the first days. And then Daniel and my older kids stayed there. and my in-laws brought back the baby on I think it was they like drove back to Long Island and they brought I had to go to work. So I went to work from Jersey. We brought two cars. And they brought back the baby at like seven o'clock at night. So then so I went home from work that day. Like I go get back in the afternoon and I had till seven o'clock by myself. speaker-0: Amazing. speaker-1: It was like okay. speaker-0: Especially Actory on death, like that's so nice. speaker-1: Here's a chunk of time I have to myself like, what can I do to like make this so perfect, you know? And at first I was like, I'm gonna go get a massage. I never have time to go get a massage, and I really want to go get a massage. And I was like, but I'm also really hungry and like I want to go in my bed, and it's like a little raining out, and it's like yucky weather the past few days, and like, what should I do? Like, I couldn't figure it out. And finally I decided on like I was 10 minutes away. from my house and I ordered like a asaibol. I picked it up. I took a bath. I got into bed, played mahjong on my computer, I listened to my podcast and ate my asaible. It was such a perfect day. And it really is like I'm so happy that like I really thought about like what was gonna be the best thing for me. Like a bad day. speaker-0: Mm-hmm. speaker-1: But different days you you know, I sound recently that like being in my bed is the best thing every single day. Sometimes it's not. Recently it is because I feel like I've been putting my effort in at like yantif and work and you know. Yeah. So like now it's being in bed and like the weather's like so yucky. So you don't want to speaker-0: Right. speaker-1: I didn't get it yet. I only got the scent beads. speaker-0: ⁓ speaker-1: Actually don't tell the environmentalists. Wood cutting boards and scent beads, you know? speaker-0: Baby steps. speaker-1: but that was my dream day. And I was going through it with Dan. I was like, What would be your dream day? He's like, You what? I would really like Mahjong on the computer. I was like, You don't even like Mahjong. She's like, He's like, You're right, why did I say that? I'm like, You have to think more about what your dream day would be. speaker-0: That's so weird. He was just copying you, but I you have LSF Maj on your notes and I would love to discuss that. speaker-1: You saw the Love Shack fancy Mahjong. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: I'm here for it, Bracha. Listen, they've they've collabbed with so many different things that made literally no sense. Like Mahjong is like a aesthetically pleasing game. But speaker-0: Checkie, if she didn't do all the other collabs and this was her first one, it would have hit. Like I just can't look at another Love Shack Fancy collab. speaker-1: It's not it's not it's not a collab that makes no sense. It's not Love Shack fancy speaker-0: I know, Love Shack Nancy is not anything to me because it's just a collab thing with random. Like it's not aesthetic, it's nothing. speaker-1: I'm not getting it. I have my own set. I'm not getting it. But like I I hear it. Like I think it's I think it's like cute. And I think it's like a smart marketing move for Love Shack Fancy. Is Mahjong. speaker-0: ⁓ yeah, but they collab with everything. So I'll lose some. What? You'll win some and lose some. speaker-1: I don't think it's I played today, my daughter won. Like we played with my friends and my and my daughter won't no one was helping her. Like she got her tools. Like so cool. speaker-0: Yeah. Jackie, I thought I won. I like played with like ⁓ Ariana's friends and Sarah was on the game too. Mm-hmm. And some of them were like very like, you know, they knew the game, you know. And then there was just me. Ariana told me to take over for her and I'm like, no. But I thought I won. I like was like, ⁓ my gosh, okay. I think I was like pretty chill about it. Like, let me and then they're like, No, you can't have a joker. Where you do, like where you have it. And I was like speaker-1: In a pair or in a run. I've made all of these mistakes, that's why I'm telling you. speaker-0: Yeah, I think I called Mahjong using a joker and the joker was in a pair. speaker-1: Yeah, that's I've done that. And if it's so disheartening 'cause you're like, I did it. speaker-0: It yeah. And then I was just like, Okay, so and then I knew to say 'cause whenever I played with my mom and if I made mix, she'd be like, You would be out now. So I'm like, I'm out now Like Thanks guys, sorry about that. speaker-1: Karen told me you have to rack it. So now I always rack it. And by the way, because Lee my daughter was with us when Karen said when your mom said that. And now she's so sneaky. Like if I don't rack it, she'll like she'll like call something else and then I can't rack like Yeah, she's like, that's why you have to rack it, mom. I was like, ⁓ my gosh, you're so strict. speaker-0: Right. Well you gotta rack it. I was thinking about it, like, I think the girlies are just gonna be playing Mahjong in camp. Like that's gonna be their camp game at night. Like they all speaker-1: Like by the way, like can I be the Mahjong girl for camp? Like I'll I'll that's the camp drop. speaker-0: Yeah, you should do that. They should have online camp. Yeah, it shouldn't just be a night activity. It should be like an activity. speaker-1: Yeah, like during the day, like you like a an elective. speaker-0: Like it's just like a good reset game, like chill, you know, after you're running around and doing all the sports, like to like sit for a game of match with your friends and like talk and Yeah. I love that. I like to see them if they don't have that, which they should. Like playing at night. Like we used to play s whatever games, like speaker-1: Yeah. ⁓ my gosh, imagine bringing your mahjong to camp and like That's what I'm saying. speaker-0: That's what I'm saying. Like think of like the parent trap when they were playing that, but it's like a game of Mahjong. No, I'm like picturing them all and they also like they're gonna have like the bougie like they're gonna have the Lushek fancy ones in camp. Like that's fine. The girls in camp are gonna have the Lush Jack fancy one. speaker-1: Shoot I wanna get it for my daughter. speaker-0: Camps should make like you know how they sell stuff, they should make like their the camps should make their own speaker-1: ⁓ my gosh, no free that's a free idea. Intercams? There's it's endless. speaker-0: Yeah. But I think like your daughter plays my they they played on Yuntiv a game on their own. Like they didn't have us helping them. speaker-1: I know, yeah. speaker-0: So I really could see them in camp doing that. speaker-1: Thousand percent. We I have to buy a mahjong table. Like I really need speaker-0: Two. I told Ariana we need one. speaker-1: That's my next thing. But like I also want like we keep trying to do like a weekly game and we get like three but not four. And then like it's like I I need a regular game. It's really important. Like you don't need to but like you do, but like I don't know. speaker-0: It makes a really big difference. Did have four? ⁓ Yeah. I think it was really good that I played 'cause I usually like I wouldn't have just went in already on his game. But I really learned a lot. Like now I know I thought I can't make that mistake because I never was taught the rules. This is why. speaker-1: But by the way, you learn the rules by making mistakes. speaker-0: Right. I know they also probably like some annoying. She had all the jokers and now it's dead bored. speaker-1: ⁓ I wanna tell you that my sheer custom wig is actually a problem at work for me. speaker-0: Yeah. Bye. speaker-1: My cowork you know me. Like I don't like to talk about the fact that I wear a wig, like whatever. The less people know the better. like I have like multiple coworkers like coming up to me being like, Where'd you get your color done? Like I love the tech like I love the color, like a and you're speaker-0: No, it's over. Don't be telling them, Jackie. speaker-1: I'm like, shake, I really like the color. Like I could tell over the summer you got like your color done and like it looks so good. I'm like, thank you. speaker-0: It's gonna be too late for you to be like, by the way, it's a wig, you know? speaker-1: It's w it's way too late. Like it speaker-0: So what do you say? I go to this girl in Muncie, her name is Sheera. speaker-1: I just say, ⁓ thank you and I try to change the conversation. speaker-0: Do you think it's their way of being like, is that a wig or it's not? So they're gonna make comments like dressing your earring wig, they're gonna be like, I love your color. speaker-1: Someone asked me like what I asked for. My gosh. What c what like what what is it called if she wants to tell her person her color is Mark, I'm like you. speaker-0: Jackie, it's really not a big deal to be like it's actually a wig and then that's it. Like it's it and then you can own it. Just like it's fine. speaker-1: I don't want to. Please, there's so many more other questions that come with it's a wig. speaker-0: Like I feel like if that was me, I I already know 'cause I've been in situations like that. Like my entire personality is that I'm an Orthodox too. Like ask ask me anything. You know? How did those videos start? speaker-1: Hi, I'm Brah, I'm your orthodox Jewish friend. speaker-0: yeah. There's nothing I can do. Yeah, there's nothing I hate more than a video that starts like that though. ⁓ my gosh. speaker-1: I can't tell me nothing. ⁓ But also I need to tell you about my podcast. That was speaker-0: Such a good call. Do you have another one? How do you have time? speaker-1: I've been listening. ⁓ I've been listening to this podcast called Love Trapped. It's a true crime podcast. ⁓ and it's about okay, basically I've never watched The Bachelor. I'm not familiar, you know, like never watch an episode. Like I really don't know anything about it. But apparently there's this guy and The Bachelor, and there was this woman claiming that. ⁓ she was pregnant with his baby. speaker-0: Wait, did they like win whatever? Did they end up together or she was just a random contestant? speaker-1: She's not on the show. Like, this is like after he's done with the show. Okay. And like this was like years and years of like, he's like, no, she's not. That's like absolutely impossible. Like, there's no way that's possible. Like, I met her like twice, whatever. And she's like, no, I am pregnant. It's twins. And like it keeps going on. And like they're back and forth and back and forth for so long. And what you uncover in this is like insane, like absolutely insane. Like it goes to court. She has there's like criminal charges. Apparently, there's like five other men who also have the same story with the same person. And like every but they have to prove it. So they have to get like, well, like she's very litigious. She like speaker-0: That's obviously not true. speaker-1: takes them all to court and gets restraining orders and claims they were abusive and like it's so crazy. Like every time you think it's like, okay, like it's over, like speaker-0: She's doing it in more than one person. Like how does she do that? speaker-1: Crazy this woman is insane. Like speaker-0: How do you like get together and like speaker-1: So now it's like the h this this podcast is the story of it and unfolding. And the reason why is because Clayton, who's like the bachelor contestant, he's his story was so public that it ended up sh like all the other people ended up seeing being like, ⁓ my god, that happened to me. And like she's been pulling this shtick for you you literally won't believe it. Her name is Laura Owens. And like Her dad is like a radio guy. Like he's like an icon in radio. Like she has notoriety. Like she's not a nobody. And she's been like actually like it's so crazy. And she she's has so much for sure, really unwell, but she has so much speaker-0: Really, really unwell. ⁓ yeah, she's in Napa B. ⁓ Wow. speaker-1: Yes. She doctors like she doctors sonograms and she pretends that ⁓ she shows positive pregnancy tests and Does she speaker-0: Have any real kids? speaker-1: No. speaker-0: My gosh. speaker-1: It's crazy. Like really speaker-0: Wait, she wins or no? speaker-1: I'm not at the end of the podcast yet, but I don't think so. I don't think so. Doesn't it doesn't seem like it's going in that way, but we're still uncovering things. Learning about all the different victims. And it's I she ruined so many people's lives. She has a domestic violence charge against this one guy who's like married with kids and like couldn't get a job because like and it was all fake. Like she literally faked everything. speaker-0: That's crazy. ⁓ my gosh. That's crazy. speaker-1: ⁓ my god, it's so crazy. Highly recommend it. It's called Love Trapped. It's 15 episodes. I'm on episode like nine. ⁓ speaker-0: Mm. Jackie Julie Andrews is so old and like I really don't want her to die. speaker-1: Did you see like her birthday posts and you're like, ⁓ god, did did that ⁓ okay, you got nervous. speaker-0: No Just like I love her. speaker-1: Do you love her? speaker-0: Yeah. You don't speaker-1: N I like I don't I feel neutral. Like I don't love her. I don't hate her. Like she's there. speaker-0: I love her. speaker-1: One of my students, ⁓ like out of nowhere, he's he's in like fourth grade, he raises his hands, he goes, You really miss Dar Dolly Parton I'm like, you do? He's like, Yeah, I loved her. I'm like, ⁓ my God speaker-0: It's the cutest thing. speaker-1: I had no idea. She's like, yeah, she was so good. I'm like it was so cute. speaker-0: Wait, wait for her now, Jackie. Are you crying right now though? It looked like you were. Cutest thing. speaker-1: No, I'm not crying. It was just like the sweet It was so cute. speaker-0: That's gonna be me, like speaker-1: And he r but he raised his hands to tell me. Like I'm like, does anyone else have anything they want to share before we start? He goes, I'm like I really missed Dolly Parton I was like, ⁓ my you shared that. speaker-0: Cutest thing ever. My gosh. It's adorable. I'm really happy he did too. speaker-1: ⁓ I also want you to know that like I'm on the hunt for dining room chairs. I've been on the hunt for a while, like but like I honestly A, I think they're all ugly. Like I d ⁓ n never have I ever seen a dining room chair that I thought was speaker-0: ⁓ That the Betsy Betsy Johnson ones that I found that Vinca I think got because they were like naked women on it. speaker-1: they're so ugly, all of them. And like whatever, I just can't make up my mind about it. And they're all so expensive and just I don't know. speaker-0: I'm surprised. I feel like you can't have Daniel bring you fabric and make your own like cool custom ones. Like he speaker-1: I could. I could. That's like a area I'm willing to go down, but I really want foam leather. Like I don't want fabric dining chairs. speaker-0: Someone had in her kitchen, this is probably more of like a kitchen tape. ⁓ it was a really pretty material. Mm-hmm. Like the the design of it was really nice, like a print. And then it really looked like a fabric, but then when you t when you touched it would it was like a wiped down material. Yeah. speaker-1: That's cool. Yeah, like I have a f like I'm not speaker-0: I'll be on the lookout on Facebook Marketplace for you. speaker-1: Thank you. Also, like anything I do see on Facebook marketplaces, like pick up in Jersey. And I'm like, what? Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ but I really don't like any of them. speaker-0: Or there's not enough chairs. Well pickup in Jersey's not crazy. Your husband's in Jersey all the time with that huge van. speaker-1: True. but one of the ones I did find there were rolling chairs, like that's so them. And I was like, that's bizarre, but it kind of could be cool. Like I feel like it would be fun. Then I remembered my grandparents' my grandparents' house in they lived in Woodmere and ⁓ in their kitchen they had rolling chairs. But the floor wasn't level, so we would just roll back every single time. Like you're just like slowly like all my memories of their kitchen is like speaker-0: ⁓ my gosh. That's really fun. They're the only people who shouldn't have a rolling chair. speaker-1: And also like what we would do is like everyone would sit at the dining room table if we had like family get together, but the littlest kids, like the kids' table is in the kitchen. So like me and my younger cousin like I was the youngest and my two and Jeremy and Nina, we would always sit in the kitchen. But like those were the rolling chairs. So like we were just like rolling around the kitchen. ⁓ maybe I should get the rolling chairs. speaker-0: I don't think that's a good idea for you. speaker-1: We'll see. I feel like Daniel won't be down. Well, right now Daniel's using an office chair. Okay, I need a new chair for my for work. Like my the leather's peeling all over the floor. I need a new chair. And Daniel's like, ⁓ I have an idea. Like I'll give you mine and I'll get a new one. I was like, wait, why can't I get a new one? Like I'm one who needs a new chair. speaker-0: You're wait, you have to get your own chair at work. speaker-1: Duh. Unless you want to sit on a classroom chair. speaker-0: Okay. He will just like bring in furniture to work. speaker-1: Literally, like I have to slap in a chair. speaker-0: Right, I guess. I always see people think they're rugs. speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: You'd have like one of those teacher GoFundMe's from the chair. You know, they have that, like the teacher class list. speaker-1: Duh, my whole all my friends at work have them. speaker-0: Who's buying it? speaker-1: ⁓ you they like send them out, people buy them. speaker-0: Cool. speaker-1: ⁓ but Daniel's idea was that he gets a new chair and gives me his. I was like, but why can't I just get a new chair if I need a new chair? He's like, True. He just wants a new chair also. speaker-0: Yeah, but also like I kinda agree with Daniel because it's in the house. speaker-1: I guess. I think I'll make him a deal. Like if he schleps it in for me, then you don't know how embarrassing it is to schlep a chair into into into work. Like it's one of the most embarrassing I think it's speaker-0: 'Cause you literally will do anything to be invisible at your work. Like that that is the worst thing for you to like bring in a huge chair. ⁓ There's no one that can help you. Like would not be doing that myself. speaker-1: Dun dun. Do remember magnet jewellery? speaker-0: ⁓ like what? The you know it's bad? Like the magnet chokers. speaker-1: No, the necklaces that used to like like they were like beads, but then every like fifth bead like a black one that would magnet to the other one and then you could like wrap it around, you could make it like a bracelet. speaker-0: Okay. speaker-1: Wait, I'm annoyed that you don't remember this. speaker-0: I remember like the the ones that would wrap as a bracelet, but I can't picture what it looked like as a necklace. speaker-1: Same thing, just less rapping. speaker-0: Well, what about it? You're just mentioning it. speaker-1: No, I like forgot they existed and then like a picture showed up on my and ⁓ speaker-0: That you exist there? I wanted to tell you the story that I went to go pick up ⁓ takeout and I ordered it an hour before and it still wasn't ready. So like every You were? You were? speaker-1: I was the phone with you the whole time. speaker-0: I don't remember. my gosh, Jersey's so slow. ⁓ that's a different place. But like, so it's me and like a bunch of guys in this restaurant. I was the only girl there. And that part of the story's not well, I guess you'll see why. But this guy comes and he's he's like, Is my order ready? It's like, What's the name? He's like, Common. classic. Now someone's gonna message us, like, that's my dad. He's like, What's your name? Common. He's like, What? He's like, Common. He's like, sorry, he's like Common. He's like, what? It's like Colmen. ⁓ really holding myself back from being like, Common. So then he goes to the computer, like fully pretending that he heard, because he couldn't ask him again. Like we're all standing there and watching this interaction. And he's like, I'm sorry. I what was the name again? He's like, Colmen. K-A-L-M-I-N. He's like, ⁓ like obviously still not hearing him. He's like, is it possible that it the name is under something else? And he's like Bachinowski. And I was like, if he couldn't get the first name, you're not getting that. Like I said, it's solo. And everyone started laughing. And I was gonna be like, Wednesday if you want one. You think that was good? I got a whole podcast for you guys. But I didn't say that. I just speaker-1: I thought he thought his name was common. You know, there's that like ⁓ rap ⁓ speaker-0: I have no idea. I really felt so bad because it's the worst one. Like he literally asked like a million times and he wasn't getting it and it I just felt really bad. But yeah. speaker-1: You're like that was my opener. Tune in until everyone speaker-0: Exactly. Like there's a lot more where that came from. That was nothing. speaker-1: We should do that as like promo for our podcast. Just like do a bit and then just say then hand us them our card, be like, listen to such a good call, everyone today. speaker-0: But we also didn't discuss the Gypsy Rose thing. I think like we just like need a retire Gypsy. Like I think speaker-1: Really don't have much to say. Like That's so sad is what I wanna say. speaker-0: I watched the TikTok live of Ken's sister, like right when she found out. She's like, Gypsy just went to tears. speaker-1: For those of you who don't know, Gypsy Rose Blanchard. ⁓ my gosh. If you don't know who she is, definitely do a light Google search. But she her mother had Munchausen by proxy and like pretended she had cancer and like f Gypsy figured out that her mom was like nuts and killed her mom. And then speaker-0: She had she had this guy do it for her. speaker-1: Yeah. ⁓ so then she went to jail and then she got out of jail and now she had a baby. speaker-0: Well she got out of and then she was engaged to one guy and then left him for someone else and had a baby with him, whatever. Like we talk about Jesse way too much on here, but I was watching speaker-1: Whatever so her fiance her baby daddy, whoever born together. Okay. ⁓ speaker-0: They weren't engaged anymore. They're like fighting over custody for the baby. speaker-1: ⁓ he was like in his thirty thirty three or something and he w speaker-0: I think it was his thirty fourth birthday. Over speaker-1: I so he died. And everyone's like, ⁓ my gosh, she was gypsy. She's a murderer. speaker-0: So that's not the part that I think is crazy. I like that's not I was watch so his sister went on TikTok live and she was on live with like a lot of her friends, but like I'm writing friends in like quotes, like they're not and it was like the weirdest thing like this. She's like crying and then was like I didn't even get to eat dinner and they're like, We'll send you pizza and they're like, What's your address? And then she stu stops crying. She's like, I messaged it to you and then a random lady would be like, ⁓ I have a message. This girl Wendy just messaged me. She said she's her thoughts and prayers are with you. Like the whole thing was just so unhinged. I'm like, what am I watching? And how is this real? How do we get here? How do we get out? And also, like, certain people just become famous. Like these are just like white trash people who just become famous. And then we're just like watch this and we're like, how is this real? Just crazy world. speaker-1: Yeah. Can I tell you that like Gypsy made this whole statement about him. And she wrote, like, he was the subject of so much online bullying. And like his mental health struggled. And like I kept thinking, like while reading that, like, who on earth is going on their computer and writing mean messages to Gypsy Rose's baby daddy? Like speaker-0: No, there was tons of stuff like that. speaker-1: But like how unwell do you need to be to do that? Like that's so crazy. Think about like the person who does that. Like speaker-0: There's tons because they are crazy. Like that she's asking like her ⁓ what's his name too, Ryan? speaker-1: Yeah, but that's that's a nuts thing to do. To like speaker-0: What's the other one's name? speaker-1: I think Ryan. Ten I don't know. Like know these things. speaker-0: Kenn Ryan? I don't have bit Wait, but apparently when he was alive he didn't want her posting like Gypsy wasn't posting pictures of her daughter's face. Literally the day after he died, like she's posting after speaker-1: ⁓ god. Gypsy. speaker-0: Yeah. Unhinged, unhinged, like speaker-1: I have watched and listened to every possible s like retelling of Gypsy Rose's story. Really? Yep. Like the dramatized The dramatized, the ⁓ what's it called? The documentary. Like I've done it all. Like I'm all Gypsy Rose. Like I could tell you everything about Munchausen by proxy. I diagnose everyone with it. speaker-0: Voice so well. What do you mean who? speaker-1: Anyone who like says my kid's not feeling well I'm like munch speaker-0: ⁓ gosh, Jackie. Well Jackie, this was so much fun. speaker-1: We should do this again sometime. speaker-0: Thank you all for being here and for listening. And we also have so many new listeners lately, so introduce yourselves and thanks for listening. speaker-1: Please give us a five-star reading on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. I think we're at 347 five-star readings, and I would love to get to 350. And that's a wrap. speaker-0: Yeah, that would be cool. Bye Gwiggy. speaker-1: Please, I'll sure you know. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: Sat mered and suck.
