Vanessa The Vivacious: Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of Vanessa the vivacious files on Vanessa the vivacious show. As you know, we were doing a brief challenge with Riverside in that we were testing out various different effects and also just the process of being able to record an entire episode inside Riverside, which is totally possible. So in that respect, Riverside has totally won that challenge. You can record in the platform. You can edit it pretty lightly. You can't replace a green screen, but you can do a whole lot of things and so ⁓ every day that we are recording this solo cast we are testing Riverside and so I kind of feel like we're completing that challenge every day which is awesome. Now I've been away for a little bit just because I've been transitioning to different places. ⁓ I've been in between various hotels, different Airbnbs, not really signing a lease anywhere just because I want to maintain that flexibility to travel on a moment's notice and so thus far it's been working out pretty good. I am currently in a different part of Texas and the room that I'm in doesn't really have quite the setup necessary for really good production value so hence you have a green screen but it's okay because we will create wherever it is that we are and I've done so for the past six years so being able to just make the most out of what you have is probably one of the greatest talents you could have in the production world. I hope that you guys are doing well. I recently announced that I'm working on a new documentary after having recently submitted my Valerina documentary to a film festival actually two film festivals and the fact that I finished it felt really really good because I'd been working on it since I think 2022 and I just took several breaks I didn't know what to do with certain parts and then at one point I was kind of lost on the storyline and someone just a random person came by and gave me the greatest idea and it took me a moment to find that sub story and what it would be that that would be applicable but also complement the main story and so what I did was that I took the that I had with this particular ballerina and then I got another ballerina to also do an interview but to comment on the physicality and the athleticism that comes along with being a ballerina that we don't know about. So in that respect we're able to follow this one story but we're also able to see the sub story of athleticism in ballet and how difficult it can be. So hopefully it comes across well. was a very short documentary short and it's got mixed reviews. from a lot of folks that I know. I've showed it to various people. Some love it, some like it with notes, but I haven't had anyone not like it, which is excellent. And then having submitted that film made me want to just start working on the next one. And so I did have one of the one that I'm working on having to do with finding my tribe for my family and finding my father. That one involves more research, so that's going to take a little bit longer to produce. However, in the meantime, I do want to do another documentary on Mr. Rogers neighborhood and the legacy that Fred Rogers had on America. So I really hope that you will contribute to that film as I am crowd fundraising for it. And so the Proceeds for this crowd fundraising will go to production costs travel and being able to get from Texas to Pennsylvania So ⁓ really excited about it If you want to learn more you can go to Vanessa the vivacious calm and on the button that says I like you Just the way you are documentary. ⁓ It'll you Sorry, it'll share some information on the documentary as well a short video that I made and I'm gonna making videos about this documentary and why it's so special to me and I hope that you will contribute to the film and also So just join me on the journey. So that being said, working on a few different things and not really subscribing to a traditional ⁓ lifestyle where I have a different apartment, a different full-time job, because I feel like if I could fall into this place of my life where I'm super free and able to just do anything, why wouldn't I take advantage of it and make the films that I want to make and join the projects that just come about? Because that's how it happens. Sometimes projects just fall in front of your lap. like the one that did for me back in 2020. And that took me on a whole four year journey of filming across America. So I highly recommend taking chances and when things don't make sense, just be grateful for where you are and let the chips fall where they may. So that being said, I'm currently letting the chips fall where they may. I'm researching for this new documentary and also working on crowd fundraising and sending out emails to potential investors. And so I really hope that this ⁓ Film will do amazing and I can bring on a crew for it because with my last one I did most of it by myself Some some crew worked on on a part of it and that was great But I didn't always have the opportunity to afford crew and so really hoping that I could fundraise for this particular film and and get that crew that I need because Filming by yourself while it's possible. It's not the best. So anyway I am ⁓ I'm at a loss for words. Things are just crazy right now, but it's also very... very liberating and I feel alive if that makes sense. It's like even though things are really confusing and crazy, you feel most alive when things don't make sense. At least I do. So I hope that you guys are having a very awesome weekend and that the week ahead is amazing for all of us because we all deserve that. And if you are good to other humans, if you help other people, if you are just a blessing to someone else, then already you're doing a great job.
