Ashlee: What do you get when you cross a celebrity makeup artist from New York with a stay-at-home mom in the Midwest? Me. I'm Ashlee Glazer, and this is Get Glazed. I'm recording live from my laundry room the suburbs of Ohio, but I used to be running around New York City glamming the world's most glamorous and elite celebrities, socialites, and just all around fabulous and brilliant minds. And now I'm trying to make it as a stay-at-home mom ⁓ Ohio. Which is honestly like a lot harder than trying to make it as a makeup artist in New York. But one thing I miss most from my glam days is not only the gorgeous surroundings and the food and the VIP access to everything, designer clothes and jewelry, but it's the conversation. And just because my makeup career has been put on a slight pause to raise my two little babies, doesn't mean that the conversation or interest in many topics have stopped. And in a way, It's like I have so many more interests now because I am a stay-at-home mom, living this other side of life, trying to garden, learning to cook, keeping a home, learning to even do laundry. I mean, I'm using my laundry room as a recording studio and I haven't even folded one piece of clothes all week because it's like sunny outside. So join me each week I talk to industry and everyday experts. We're talking to talk to friends, ⁓ coworkers. Peers, people I've worked with, people I look up to, and some weeks will just be me. So I hope you enjoy this Tune in weekly wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Ashlee Glazer, and this is Get Glazed.
