Christine: What if the anxiety, overwhelm, exhaustion, people pleasing, or feeling different your whole life were never random? What if the pieces of your life finally started to fit together? Welcome to Between Us Neurodivergent Conversations. I am Christine. Mareike: I am Maraike. We are two late diagnosed and late discovered neurodivergent women, mothers of neurodivergent children and friends living on opposite sides of the world. For years we searched for answers, trying to understand why life often felt harder than it seemed to for everyone else, why we were constantly adapting, coping and pushing through, why we always felt a little out of step with the world around us. Christine: In this podcast, we share our lived experiences with autism, ADHD, or DHD, with masking, burnout, motherhood, identity, and the journey of understanding ourselves later in life. Not as experts, simply as two women sharing the authentic conversations we wish we had heard years ago. If you've ever looked around and wondered why everyone else seemed to have received a handbook for life that you somehow missed. Sometimes all it takes is hearing someone else's story to finally make sense of your own. Mareike: Our very first episode is coming soon. Follow the podcast so you don't miss the conversations that often stay unspoken. We are so glad you're here between us.
