side quest becca: It stays in. Mikey: No, I can't get Chris in trouble. One of us has already been fired for talking crazy at work, so Chris: Doxed me. my God. side quest becca: my god, okay. Mikey: anybody out there's hiring, let me know. I'm good with computers, I'm good with working on stuff, and side quest becca: Years of experience. Chris: company from France picks you up. It's like, We gotcha. Mikey: Hey, if they fly fly me out to live and pay for my housing, I'll I'll go. Chris: Mm-hmm. Mikey: So we've had a busy weekend. first was Evil Dead Burns. it did it flopped in the box office opening weekend I I read earlier. Yep. It only made like three point six mil. side quest becca: We did. Yes. Did it? Really? my gosh, yeah that's that's very bad. Mikey: Yeah. Chris: We missed an in credits scene too. Mhm. It Yeah had the girl from Rise come back, which doesn't make any sense, but okay. side quest becca: I know, I read about that. Yes, with Maggot Mommy. Mikey: There was another one? side quest becca: Right. That's what I was gonna say. That's completely unrelated. but I'm here for it, maybe? I don't know. I don't know what it has to do with the one we watch. Nothing, I guess. Chris: the only link Mikey: so Chris: was the girl from the lake in the beginning. side quest becca: Yeah, Jessica. So that is who that was, correct? Mikey: That's what confused me. Well Chris: for in the beginning? Yes, Mikey: Yes, yeah. Chris: yes. Yes. side quest becca: Okay. That's what I was thinking. Mikey: So that's what linked it I guess, but like I don't know. I thought the movie was worse than Rise. side quest becca: The store. The story was weak. I thought the action was great. But yeah, the story was the the weakest part of the film, which is you know, that's that's a huge part of your film. Chris: Yeah. I like the ca Mikey: The dad was crazy. Chris: yeah, the camera work was I thought was good. Like some of the cam like the camera scenes were pretty cool, how they were doing the one shot on some of those. I was like, Okay, that's cool But yeah, it just like y'all were saying, the story was just it really wasn't there, honestly. It was just like, Okay. side quest becca: Mm. Mm mm. It didn't do anything for me. Chris: sucked. Just kidding. side quest becca: No, I I I thought it I I was entertained. I felt that it went on a little too long. cut twenty minutes off, give you an even ninety minute film. and the ending, the s the CGI effects for that third act were not good at all. Mikey: Did you think that too, Chris? It reminded me of like Terminator One with like the Terminator walking out of the flames, like all like robotic and a animatronic. side quest becca: Mm. Chris: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, I didn't g I didn't quite get that. side quest becca: Yes. Chris: Where was he the whole time? So I mean from the very beginning of the movie, where was it? Mikey: They could have cut that whole section off. I get that it was like her, you know, I don't know, redemption or whatever, but like could have just cut it right there with her at the house, watching it burn down, get the ambulance out there, done. side quest becca: Yes. Spoiler alert, yeah, she should have it should have ended after she Mikey: yeah, I'll put a disclaimer that we're spoiling the hell out of the movie. side quest becca: No no no no you're good 'cause I'm about to spoil it. That's why I said that. it should have ended when she let the dog rest finally. That should have been the last kill of the film, in my opinion. And then like you said, w she could have just stayed on the ground and then we see the the lights from the ambulance and the police pull up and it been done. Mikey: Yeah. 'Cause if you watch Terminator one where Sarah Connor's running from the Terminator. it's either is it Sarah Connor or Reese? I can't even remember. The at the end where they go to the to factory. It really reminded me of that whole chase scene. I don't know. Which is great. I love Terminator, but like, I don't know. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Either one. It it's I believe it's Sarah. It's probably both, but yeah. Yeah, me too. That's all I could think the whole time of watching that scene. And I was Yes. Not for a twenty twenty six film. And I was just Chris: Yeah. side quest becca: tired by that point of the film. I was r it was 'cause it was a lot. It there there was a lot happening the entire time during that film. I was a little overstimulating. this so I I was tired by what I thought w should've been the end. And then it goes on for another what, twenty minutes or so? Mikey: Past my bedtime. side quest becca: No, I don't mean it like that. I just meant like mentally I was done with the film. but the kills were good, a little gratuitous, but it is an Evil Dead film, so you know what you're getting. Mikey: Yeah. Just seemed a little far fetched. Like what I didn't understand, here's here's what I didn't understand. Was his name Joe, the Joseph? How how did he survive landing on all of those dishes? side quest becca: Joseph? Mm-hmm. Chris: the younger brother. Yeah. side quest becca: yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Mikey: And he's just fun th he doesn't even show any signs of hurt being hurt after that. Like I I side quest becca: The only thing I can think of is Mikey: There was one scene where he's like, You see his shirt and there's just like clean holes in his shirt. I I don't know. side quest becca: Yeah. The what I took from that is he was already part dead at that time and just hadn't trans transformed because his wife or his girlfriend, whatever she was, doesn't she kiss him when he she's on top of him on the dishes? Mikey: I thought well Chris: at the end, yeah. Mikey: I thought she was about to and then she gets up. I I can't remember though. But that makes sense. She licked him, yeah. Okay, so side quest becca: And then she stopped. Okay. Yeah, that yeah. Okay, yeah, yeah. So in my mind I Chris: Well licked him. side quest becca: I was like he was already part dead eye, he just hadn't because that's the only explanation. No, no, no, no, no, no, that's not not at all. No, well there was like you said, there's a lot happening. I really like the scene where what was her Alice. Alice is our main character. she's crawling away while Jose was just getting wrecked. Mikey: That's just yeah, that's just me being stupid. Yeah. No, it is. Like I didn't catch that. side quest becca: By the dad. Yeah, I liked how that was filmed. but yeah, like the the scene with the dad where he shoots himself three times, that was excessive. That was not that was a little too much for me. He was. Yes. And I thought him and the dog teaming up, like like dead eyed dog and dead eyed dad. I thought that was really cool. I like that concept. didn't didn't like watching the dog die. Yeah, the dog does die, just so like repeatedly. Mikey: It was a cool scene, yeah. Chris: Mm-hmm. Mikey: He was creepy though, just like standing outside, just like staring into the house. Chris: Yeah, I was just like, All right. side quest becca: A few d I know. That was that was sad. Chris: But just like for the sake of like shock, like that movie was not scary whatsoever. I could say that. side quest becca: Yeah. I didn't think so no I didn't think so either. It was not no. And that's what they're saying. Like it's the scariest of the evil dead mov no, it's not scary. It's just No. It's definitely just graphic and shocking, like you said. but side note that the dad would Mikey: N who's saying that, like Chris: Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know who's saying that 'cause I did Yeah. Mikey: The f the very first Evil Dead and the f the ri the first remake are the scariest. side quest becca: the remake's terrifying. It's so scary. the dad is no that is not the gentleman from Don't Breathe, right? Chris: Yeah. side quest becca: Okay. He just kind of favored him. He's got that sort of build to him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's who I was thinking of the whole time I was watching that. But yeah, the what a what a grisly character. What a terrible. What a very unlikable person. And he's supposed to be. Mikey: Irish So the deadites are all like hive mind, right? Chris: Yeah, it's like it's basically one demon that's possessing I mean, that's the whole thing, is they're just basically possessing others. I mean, they still have their like memories and like thoughts and stuff like that. That's why they manipulate the people, like the main characters anyways, from what I've gathered. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Mikey: Then like the the scene where the mom like makes out with with him it was a little much. side quest becca: That was well no, that is that does make the film scary 'cause I was just I was dying like Ugh. Chris: Yeah, I didn't quite get that. I was just like, All right, it was weird. Yeah, I was just like, We're still doing this? Like, I don't know. It was just side quest becca: Well, I th the director knew what he was doing. He wanted people to be grossed out and I was definitely grossed out. But what a disappointing Go ahead. yeah, the teeth. Ugh. That was awful. Mikey: That and the the dentures. But you notice she was like, This'll this'll help you feel better or whatever. Chris: Yeah, I didn't pick up. I don't know I don't know why that I didn't pick up on the fact that that was just gonna turn her right there. I just didn't think of it until she obviously raised up in the bed. I was like, okay, well, that makes sense. Yeah. Mikey: Yeah. side quest becca: Yeah. Yeah. Mm. y tha okay, that part was creepy. I don't like I don't like that. that was probably the creepiest part for me. But what a disappointing title card after Evil Dead rises. Chris: Yeah. Mikey: Is lame. Chris: I liked I liked the font of it, but yeah, like I was just like, okay, y'all really hit it out of the park with Rise. What happened? Like Yeah, the remake was good too, yeah. Yeah, that wa it was like probably the loudest sa title card I've ever heard, yeah. side quest becca: Yes, they did. St still one of the coolest. Mikey: And and the remake, it's still my favorite 'cause it's just like bo it's like full screen. Yeah. side quest becca: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But just like the reflection of the lake with the title. I mean, it was it was so masterfully done. So I was I was Mikey: The intro to this movie was awesome. With the fisherman. That was cool. Yeah, the lake. That was better than the whole movie. Yeah. Chris: Yes. The lake, yeah. Yeah, when she boiled the lake and that dude, that side quest becca: yeah, that was brutal too. Yeah. Chris: was na I was like, dang. Yeah. Mm-hmm. They could've made a movie with just that, like that setting. side quest becca: Not only that, the fish hooks through the eye, mm mm mm. Mikey: Yeah, that yeah. You didn't have to bring in the whole story of these are these are the people that found the book of the dead. Like we don't necessarily need all that. side quest becca: Well, their grandfather was Yeah, the grandfather had a big part of that. Chris: And isn't that like a callback from Army of Darkness was the eight wise men? That's what I thought. That was like the only tie in that I could think of from Army of Darkness. Mikey: Mm-hmm. Yep. side quest becca: No, there's also the framed photo of Bruce Campbell on the wall. Was cool. Yeah, I mean overall I enjoyed it. It wouldn't become like a rewatch for me. I might watch Chris: Yeah, I saw that, yeah. Mikey: That was that was cool. yeah, right. You're Chris: It's already Mikey: gonna go buy it on Blu ray. Chris: it's already gonna be on digital here within less than a month. It's gonna be available for digital Mikey: You'll you'll be buying side quest becca: Hm. Mikey: it on Blu ray here as soon as it releases. No, you will. side quest becca: I I did buy I did buy Evil Dead Rise. But I thought I enjoyed Evil Dead Rise more. I thought that was a a un Yes, it was. And it was a unique concept because there's no cabin. We're in a a high rise apartment building. Yeah. And that that was a risk they took and it worked. And you know, their leading actresses for that were fantastic. So Mikey: Rise was creepier. Chris: yeah, yeah. Mikey: Yeah, it was it was totally different, yeah. Mm-hmm. Chris: Well that and they had the book too, like in this one it's just a continuation from Rise because it's all they've already because I mean she didn't say like the the spell, you know, she stopped short just short of the last word anyway, so yeah. So yeah, I thought that was a little interesting there. Mikey: Yeah. side quest becca: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Mikey: Kunda. side quest becca: Yeah. Hm. Mikey: So overall, pretty good movie. bad CGI. side quest becca: Just I thought it was just bad C J just for the last scene. Everything else I thought was good. Mikey: There was one there was one shot that was really cool though. It's just a random outside shot of the house, snow coming down. It I don't know, it was just like the best shot of the movie. side quest becca: That was cool. Yeah. That was pretty. Chris: Mm-hmm. Yeah. side quest becca: Was that at the b towards the beginning after Joseph's girlfriend was killed or yeah, yeah, yeah. Mikey: Yeah. Yeah, it was after. The dad was still standing outside when it happened, but side quest becca: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Chris: So I guess Rise and Burn and then Wrath is gonna be the one coming out in twenty eight. They apparently just finished rapping production of that movie too. So I'm guessing the twenty thirteen remake is not part of this trilogy, is what I'm gathering. side quest becca: N no, I don't believe so. I think it's just a standalone Chris: Yeah, 'cause I mean it's t I mean, what Rise came out in twenty three, so it's like they're ten years apart. I mean, if they're trying to make a callback from a ten year old or a movie from now thirteen years ago, I just I don't see them doing that. side quest becca: Mm, mm-hmm. Yeah. No, different directors, but and I heard that working with that director for the twenty thirteen remake was difficult. He put his actors through a lot. And y yeah. Well, the lead actress for the twenty thirteen Evil Dead said she 'cause they were she always offered to do a a sequel, I believe, and she was not gonna work with him again 'cause of what he put her through. Chris: Fede Alvarez, yeah, of course. He's awesome. He did Alien Romulus. Alien Romulus was great. No. Well Lee Cronin did Mikey: Well, and you see what she's done since, right? Nothing. Exactly. Sometimes you just gotta put up with it to make millions of dollars. I'm so sorry. side quest becca: Yeah, nothing. I mean Chris: Well side quest becca: She's been in some stuff, just nothing quite as big as that. She was in Mhm. Chris: And then then Lee Cronin did Rise, which he went on to do the Mummy, and then we got this other this French director he was doing Burn. Mikey: I'd like to see Wrath have the same character, lead actress. She's got the dagger. side quest becca: I didn't Nope. Nope, it won't because it's based in nineteen s it's based in nineteen seventy five. It's a different time setting completely. Yep. Chris: yeah, this is a prequel. Mikey: Well, for God's sakes. Chris: So it's a prequel to nineteen eighty one's Evil Dead. I ha side quest becca: So I'm I'm interested in it. Well I didn't s I mean I guess it has to be since it's based in nineteen seventy five, but I think it'll be interesting to see that to see that. I'm I'm excited for it. Mikey: Does a prequel to the whole series? Okay. No, I mean that's cool. I just you know, if we're gonna do this the trilogy, let's do the trilogy. Chris: And it's a different director too. side quest becca: Yeah, see that's the thing I don't particularly care for is how you have different ri like and you can clearly see a different style from rise in this. Chris: Well Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell still got their fingerprints all over it. So yeah, it's scheduled for theatrical release April seventh, twenty eight. side quest becca: Yes. Sure, sure. Tw twenty eight, not twenty twenty seven? god. Chris: They just finished they literally Mikey: See y'all when I'm forty one. Chris: just finished film principal photography wrapped on May thirtieth of this year. side quest becca: I'll see it. I'll I'll see it in theaters. I mean I'm glad I saw this in theaters. I feel like I would I would have felt like I got left out if I didn't see this in theaters. Even if it was Chris: it's got the guy for Midnight Mass is gonna be in it. Sweet. The not not Hamish, but the other guy. The guy, Yeah, but he's the one who got burned up in the boat. side quest becca: Hamous. Lots of guys in that that show. okay, okay. The one who was ki or lead for a while. Okay, yeah. Chris: weird. Lee Cronin's going to be serve wait. No, it wasn't. But yeah. Lee Cronin is an executive producer for this one. Interesting. side quest becca: What else did we do this weekend, Michael? Mikey: You should still go back and watch Evil Ash versus Evil Dead. The whole the whole thing. Chris: yeah. side quest becca: Yeah. well. It's it's definitely more it's more like Army of Darkness, Alright, like that's like the comedy of it. Mikey: No, you are. Well everybody always says that Evil Dead's comedy, but the only real comedy one was the second one. And the third one, Army of Darkness, but the second one was a remake of the first one with comedy behind it, is all it was. The first one is a real horror movie. It's supposed to be scary, but everybody forgets that. side quest becca: Mm. Ye yeah, and the first one's disgusting. In a good way. Like Yes. It is. No, it is scary. A lot of the camera tricks, really cool camera tricks in that and the makeup and it's just it's just a gross film. Just all the goo. Mikey: But two and Army of Darkness made Ash Williams an iconic character. But everybody always forgets that the first one was a real horror movie. One of the scariest movies when I was a kid. I was terrified of that movie. Even the second one I was terrified. Like the woman out in the in the yard dancing around without a head, or she's like a zombie like twirling around and singing. side quest becca: Yes. Yes. That's the first one I saw, so Yes. Yeah, no. Mm-hmm. Yeah. No, the makeup, the effects for those films are fantastic and they do their job and it freaks you out and it grosses you out. You don't want to watch the first Evil Dead while you're eating. That one's just Yes. It's so oo ooey and gooey and It's fun though. I it's it's one of my favorites to revisit. Mikey: All the yellow blood and stuff, it's awesome. we went to the BluesCon anime con yesterday Blues Fest Anime Conn yesterday, boys. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. We did. And I got Adam MacArthur's signature on my Funko Pop, who does UG's voice. He was very cool. He was of such such a delight to talk to. Mikey: I got one too, but it's way back there on the shelf, so side quest becca: Yeah, he signed Michaels in this really pretty red. I am jealous of that. but he said my my pop was cooler than Michael's, so I'll take it. But yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mikey: Dirt. you got the plus pop. I don't know the difference. They're all the same. They're vinyl pieces of plastic. Chris: Yeah, I've no idea what y'all are talking about. Sounds cool though. Poppin'. side quest becca: but we had a great time and Mikey: Pops. side quest becca: we saw a lot of cool cosplays. There was a Mr. and Mrs. Pyramid Head, which I think was probably my f yeah, that was probably my favorite from the day. Saw a lot of man, yeah. no. The I yeah, I was really not breathing it in and then Michael was like, You have to, you have to and I did and Chris: That's cool. Mikey: There were people that smelled super bad there. Chris: Yeah. That's part of the fund. That's that's price that's part of the price of admission. Mikey: I mean worse than usual. Chris: Mm-hmm. Mikey: I was like, you have to smell what I'm smelling right now. Chris: Yeah. side quest becca: And I did and I gagged and I was like I'm not doing that again. so please please shower and wear a deodorant and you know, change your clothes before you go to any type of event. it's much appreciated. If if you can smell yourself a little, others can smell you a lot. well they need to have someone in their lives to tell them when they do smell. That's true. That's true. Mikey: Usually those types of people can't smell themselves. That's the problem. Well, the people that are in their lives usually smell the same way. side quest becca: lots of vendors. I mean, I'm sure there was much more to do than we saw. We spent mo like all of our time in the vendor room. but there was a Super Smash Brothers competition going on. there was Q and A's happening, meet and greets. the lines were very long for autographs. It took me I guess probably forty five minutes to get Adam's autograph, which isn't bad. That's not terrible. Could've been worse. Mikey: I wanted to meet the Gojo voice actor, but too much too much line. side quest becca: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And I was on a fixed budget and autographs for pops were eighty dollars a piece. So yeah, I mean I get well for some of them. the voice actors who did Nabarrow I think was sixty or forty. but b your more popular ones are gonna be on the the more expensive side, which I get because voice acting does not pay a lot of money. I don't think people realize that. Chris: Geez. Mikey: The girl that does Nezuko was forty bucks. side quest becca: Yeah, I think that was cool. 'cause I wanted Robbie Draymond was there. He does Maggie Me's voice. I wanted his. but I d I just could not I couldn't do more than one. But I did overhear that they're gonna be at a con in Nashville in October, so I might make the trip up there and get more then. Mikey: Magoumi. side quest becca: but yeah, we we bought some merch. We bought some stickers for our cars, some cute Legos. Michael got a really cute Lincoln Zelda one that I'm very jealous of. Chris: didn't you get it? side quest becca: Because he already had it. I dunno, it's like you haven't. I'm gonna get this one. Yeah, he's gonna grab They're really cute. Mikey: Hang on a second. side quest becca: And they only five dollars a piece. They're so cute. I think that's probably my favorite thing from the the favorite thing that we bought from that day. They're just yeah. Chris: those cool. That's awesome. Mikey: Those were cool because they were five five for twenty, so they had a bunch of different characters too. side quest becca: Yeah. I got a sukano one. Of course. Mikey: Ella got a DOMA. side quest becca: you also got an inoske yeah, Ella got a doma. You got an inosuke, which is also really cool. That's fine. That's fine. Mikey: Yeah, I'm not going back for that one. yeah. he's he's he's cool, man. He's side quest becca: It's so cute. Chris: He is. side quest becca: And we did see a Twilight Princess, Lincoln Zelda. And that that was probably my favorite actually from yesterday. They were so adorable. Chris: There are a lot of people there. side quest becca: Yes. Yeah. It was parking wasn't terrible though, but it was hot yesterday. I was a I dressed up as a devil hunter agent from Chains Hall Man and just that short walk with my black skirt, I was on fire. It was just that was so hot. but it was very nice and and and cool at the conventions, which they knew that needed to be because of people that stink. that would have been all I was worried about that, I'm not gonna lie. Mikey: God. Can you imagine? side quest becca: But yeah, I think that I think there was more stuff that we probably missed, but we spent so much time in the vendor room. But next year we'll go with a better game plan and I'll have more time for a cosplay. yeah. I mean I had a great time. Ten on ten I do it again. Mikey: out of ten. Would eat here again. other news, people are bitching about Black Flag Recync and they should relax because it's great. side quest becca: What else we got? yeah. It's so much fun and it looks beautiful. Microtransactions. There's over eighty four microtransactions you can purchase. That's the thing. Yeah. Chris: What w what are they complaining about? Mikey: But you don't have to buy all it is is like costumes and and stuff. If you wanna buy it, you don't have to buy it. No. Chris: It's not pay to yeah, it's it's not pay to win type stuff, side quest becca: No, Chris: yeah. side quest becca: no. That's the thing. So yeah, just don't buy it and enjoy the game. It's beautiful. It's fun. Mikey: And if you would have bought the deluxe edition, you would have got some of that stuff for free. That's the age we live in, people. Like not everything's and I get it 'cause I love Elden Ring and in Elden Ring you can find everything in the game, right? Chris: Deluxe edition. side quest becca: Mm. But yeah. Chris: Gotta work for it, but yeah. Mikey: But I mean, not every game's gonna be like that. That's what makes Elden Ring special. If every game was a hunt and seek game where you had to lend and Assassin's Creed Black Flag is very much an exploration game, too. it plays great, it looks amazing. they're also complaining that the cutscenes are capped at thirty FPS. side quest becca: This is fun. Yes. They look fine. Mikey: It's it's fine, ever i I I promise you it's fine, everybody. It it thirty FPS on cutscenes is not bad. That's just the videos rendered at thirty FPS. It's fine. Movies are twenty four FPS. I don't know if everybody knew that or not, but movies are twenty four FPS. let's relax. side quest becca: Also, it's Ubiso it's Ubisoft. You knew that there was gonna be microtransactions. That's just what they do. You don't have to buy I do hate how you have to sign in to your Ubisoft's account before you can start Like, I don't know. I gotta reset my password. Whatever. I did. I don't know. I had to. Mikey: Yeah. I didn't have to do that. Chris: Th their games are notorious for like menu narration. As soon as you like log into any of their games they're like side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Mikey: Mon did that, it was like, press this to cancel menu narration. side quest becca: It didn't mind it too. I was like, What? Who was talking? I will say that the the armor you can buy, some of it's kinda weird and it takes you out of it, like this Hellion armor where you're like covered in flames, you got horns and then you got a sea serpent. The sea yeah. like the entire town's just gonna be like, no, please leave, please Mikey: I thought about just buying it right off the gate. Edward Kenway's just badass as hell for no reason. Chris: Yeah. Mikey: You're just walking through like trying to like catch the thief that's stealing somebody's purse dressed as like an elden god. side quest becca: Yeah. Yeah. you can buy out you know, your ship can look different. It has like four different things. It it can look like it matches your armor. Mikey: But all that comes from what's that game? side quest becca: Fortnite. Mikey: No, what's their pirate game? side quest becca: the the b skulls and skull and bones or whatever? Mikey: Skull and bones. That you can do all that in Skull and Bones. You can customize your ship by buy s different ship stuff. They're trying they're trying to get people into that. And once they're done with this game, you know, I want more pirate stuff and they'll move on to Skull and Bones. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. My crew outfits? Hey, I always want more pirate stuff. I think that's an underrated Mikey: Skull and Bones is fine. It's not bad. It wasn't bad when I I it may be bad now. I haven't tried it since the test release. It was good then. side quest becca: I think that what happened with that is it just took too it took too long. They kept talking about it year after year after year after year. And pe at that point people just didn't care when it finally did come out. We're over it. But I don't know, I always appreciate a a pirate game. I agree. I want more. Put me in the ocean, you know. I I want all that. Give me mermaids. We got Darth Vader in here today? What's happening? Mikey: We don't have enough good pirate games. to figure what that is. Thought it was you. Your CPAP machine. Sh speaking s I do. Speaking of taking forever, old Todd Howard over at Bethesda, Elder Scrolls Six is still at least two years away. side quest becca: no. No that's not me. I don't have sleep apnea. I have sleep paralysis. Uh-huh. Chris: I don't really want to hear that name over again. side quest becca: And now now we'll see now they get the the beauty of saying, Well, you know, Microsoft has all these layoffs, so that's why it's gonna take so long, which is a lie. I mean, it certainly doesn't help. No. That's a problem. Yeah, that's a problem. They haven't been working on it. They've been giving us trash like Starfield or updates to Fallout seventy six or Eldus or Eldus Grows Online. I don't know. Mikey: They've been working on this game for over ten years. It they should be somewhere. Hey, Starfield's not that bad. That's not bad either. side quest becca: I know it's not bad, but it's not what I want. Mikey: Seventy six sucks. side quest becca: Yeah. Chris: You say. Mikey: dare you? No. No, it's fine. It it seventy six plays more like a fallout game than it did when it first came out. It's it's fine. And I'm telling you, if you want an Elder Scrolls Six, just play ESO. There's I mean it's it's a ton of crap that you can do it. side quest becca: But it feels different. It doesn't feel it doesn't feel right. It's it's not. It's it's not Bob Sager. I have before. Like when it first came out. It has been a long time. You're not wrong. When did when did ESO start? Somebody look it up. Mikey: It's the same. You haven't tried it. You haven't even played it. Well, that was eighteen years ago. It came out as soon as my child was born, so twelve years ago. side quest becca: Okay. Yeah. I mean that's a long time. But yeah. So don't bother looking forward at any type of showcase anytime soon. We won't see anything. Don't be the clown like I am and just think that every time a Bethesda screen pops up, you're gonna get any kind of update because we're not. We won't. They're hoping we forget about it. Chris: Yeah, I shouldn't believe it's been that long. Mikey: know nobody's gonna forget about it. side quest becca: That's the thing. They people wait for it. I'm trying not to die before it comes out, Todd Howard. Let's do something. But also, speaking about Bethesda, Ashasharma has told Obsidian, do not waste your time with an avowed two. Move on to a new fallout. So Obsidian is creating a new fallout. I'm yay! Yeah, why not? I think Obsidian did great with New Vegas. That's my favorite fallout. Chris: New Vegas too. Mikey: Mm. Yeah. side quest becca: Mm no, no, no, no, no. Mikey: No, I like New Vegas. side quest becca: I know. We've always said it's your favorite. Chris: think they've already got a good blueprint with Outer Worlds one and two. I mean even if I liked Outer Worlds. You didn't like Mikey: Just side quest becca: Oof, how boring are those games. I thought the the respawn was way too fast for enemies and I just wasn't invested in the story or the characters. I thought it looked good. It it it and it played well. Mikey: You don't like being a spacer? side quest becca: No, it's fine. I that the whole element's fine. I just I the story of I just didn't care for it. I wanted to like it, I really did. I tried and I tried and I tried, but this wasn't for me. Mikey: fine. side quest becca: And Outer Outer Worlds two did not I don't think it did very well and so but slap a fallout on a on a obsidian game, yeah, let's go. Mikey: If they've slept, if that would have been called fallout. side quest becca: Yeah, what outer worlds. Mikey: Fallout Outer Worlds. would have batted an eye and played the hell out of them. Because they really do play just like Fallout games. side quest becca: Probably not. You're probably right. They do. You're right. It it is basically Fallen in Space or y 'cause I guess people try to say it was Skyrim in space. No, that was Starfield, actually. But yeah, no, I I agree with you on that. Mikey: It's and Starfield's not anything like that either. Starfield's just a Yeah, it's just an RPG. It's a space RPG. I mean, that's all it is. And it's good. There's nothing wrong with Starfield. Like it it's not a bad game, really. I don't like the the space battles. I feel like you could have just left all that out. Chris: No. Yeah, when they marketed it like that, I was like, I wouldn't go that far there, Todd. Yeah. Yeah. side quest becca: Skyrim with guns. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mikey: But other than that, exploring the planets or that's pretty fun and side quest becca: I wanna if I'm gonna invest time into a game though, I don't want it to just be okay. I want it to be one of the best things. What? What? Chris: So you're you only play nine and ten out of ten games, those sevens and eights, you're like, Nope. side quest becca: Well, I but that's based on personal opinion. What might be a seven or six game to you might be a ten to me. Mikey: Right. Chris: What's a seven out of ten game for you? side quest becca: You're putting me on the spot, I'm trying to think. My brain is going blank. Don't snore at me. shit. I I don't know. I'll have to think about it. Come back to me. Round Robin. Mikey: I love I love video games and I will play like I even a lot of people they'll talk about movies. They're like, I I just couldn't get through it, it was garbage. I will sit and watch whatever and I will play whatever. Unless it's yeah. Chris: Yeah. It doesn't have to be like critically side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Chris: acclaimed or to box office, you know, just success out of nowhere. I mean it's just Yeah. That's why well and exactly. It's just the you know, some movies you just go and watch 'cause they're stupid and fun. Like that that they will kill you movie. That movie was not gonna be critically acclaimed. Yeah. But it was a fun movie. side quest becca: No. I'm right. And I'm not saying it does. Right, I that Yeah. Mikey: Yeah. Movie had a terrible soundtrack too. side quest becca: But like that's that's why I wanted to see Masters of the Universe, 'cause I just knew it was gonna be fun and just a good time. Mikey: I still haven't heard anything about that movie. side quest becca: I know. they did not market it. They didn't and Mikey: I haven't heard how it did. It must have done awfully. side quest becca: It did not do well and that's because of marketing. And the title. They should have called it He Man, Masters of the Universe. Like let people don't know what that is. Chris: I'm I'm ready I'm ready for a new legit G. I. Joe movie. That's what I want. They need one. If y'all if anybody saw the newest Transformers movies, spoiler alert, but they had a post credit scene where there was a guy who basically approaches the the main character from Transformers and it's basically says G.I. Joe on it. And I was like, sweet. 'Cause they're like finally gonna do like what they call like the Hasbro universe where like all the toys, like Transformers, G.I. Joe, all of them will have like its own like cinematic universe, which they should totally do. funny enough, Danny McBride, who, you know, obviously Eastbounding Down, Vice Principles, all those shows, obvious he side quest becca: okay. Yeah. Tropic Thunder. Mikey: Directors of the new Halloween movies. Chris: Yep, he wrote the new Halloween movies. He wrote he's got a screenplay for a G. I. Joe movie that Paramount apparently really likes. So hopefully that gets greenlit. If it does, that would be huge. side quest becca: And we don't need a serious film, like just you can no no no, you can make it like, you know, Yeah, action comedy. That's fine. Yeah. Just give us a summer blockbuster. Chris: I don't think it should be, no. It shouldn't be. Just make it like in the vein of Michael Bay's Transformers. Those are great. No. Mikey: And Cobra is a really cool villain company. You can do a lot with it. Yeah. You could do a lot with that. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Chris: yeah. Cobra Commander? side quest becca: What was Chris: yeah. They've got comic books, they've had the T V animated cartoons. There's so much lore they could pull from. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Pork chop Mikey: And you know, G.I. Joe started as a Barbie for boys. That's how it started. side quest becca: sandwiches. Chris: I did not know that, but that makes sense, especially the the bigger, like taller figures. Yeah. That makes sense. Yeah. Mikey: Yeah, so they were big they were made like Barbie, when they first came out. They were for boys and then like boys didn't like that tall, big figure, so they what's the company? No. side quest becca: Shrunk down. Hasbro? What's that Hasbro? Chris: Mattel? side quest becca: Hmm. Mikey: Mattel. They copied the Neko. Is it Neko or whatever figures came out for Star Wars, the four inchers. And that because they were doing so well. And that's how the classic G.I. Joes began. I learned that on I Love the Eighties. Chris: yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. side quest becca: I loved that series. I would rewatch that today. Mikey: I love the eighties. side quest becca: Yeah. Very cool. Mikey: there's there's a few things like that on Netflix, like the movies that made us and the decades that made us. Those are pretty fun to watch. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Chris: Yeah. side quest becca: Yeah. I like any kind of informative about, you know, that time period. Just 'cause I think that was a fun time. Mikey: times. And the worst of times. side quest becca: Mhm. I agree. They still use coke and coke, you know, cocaine and coke products, so Mikey: hey, that's side quest becca: That was a secret ingredient. Yeah. That's a great point. Mikey: If you want an energy drink, let's let's get a real energy drink here. why they did it. Can you imagine cracking open an ice cold Coca-Cola? And it's like s and it's like the equivalent of snorting a line of Coke and you're just like Let's fucking go. side quest becca: It's seven in the morning. Let's go. Chris: Yeah. it's pretty crazy. side quest becca: I'd get so much done. I'd be as productive as humanly possible. Mikey: be cool. side quest becca: Chris, what else is going on, man? Chris: been playing so PS5 has finally gotten Black Ops one and two ports and they are true ports in the sense that they are not remasters. They are just straight up one for one. side quest becca: Shout out PS five. Mikey: Sorry, that was funny. Chris: Black Ops One and Black Ops Two, which is all I ever wanted in life, because you try to play those games on PC and it is hacked to hell. It is just god awful. Yeah, it's terrible. Shout out China. But yeah, they are they're the best. but yeah, they Yeah, so they Mikey: Yeah, it's like all like Chinese hack lobbies. side quest becca: Yeah. Mikey: Shout out China They make everything we've got side quest becca: Greatest of hackers. You simply the best. Chris: I've been playing both of those games and it's funny because like I was I think I started playing like within an hour after they just dropped and so you could not find them on the store. You have to like go and search for them 'cause they're not and I see why Treyarch and Activision do not want to market these. They are? Okay. Well yeah, 'cause I think they are because they're trending 'cause everybody's downloading once they found But I know ac Mikey: They're up front now. Mm-hmm. Yeah, that's what it is. But but it also says thirty nine dollars and when you click on it, if you're a PS plus member, it says nineteen. Chris: Yeah. Plus plus. Yep. So yeah, you'll get basically half off of your ple PS plus member, which is only for a limited of time. So getting now both forty bucks can't be that deal. Yeah, it's my favorite two. One and two are my t yep. Yep. Yeah, yeah, I think so. It's just funny side quest becca: Black Ops was my favorite Call of Duty game. That's that's one I really kind of played at and got better at. Mikey: yeah. Well I need him to drop ghosts next. Call of duty ghosts. Chris: I I hope Trey Arc and Activision as a whole are paying attention to this and saying, well maybe we need to go back to this because you don't want the battle pass, the micro Yeah. I don't want Nicki Minaj. Yeah. Yep. Yeah. I don't want all this I don't want Mikey: Yes, we don't want the the war zone, the battle pass, the Fortnite copy crap. I just want boots on the ground, multiplayer. That's all I that's all I've ever wanted. Chris: Crazy time to kill and fast like omni movement. And it was just it was so so exciting to hear people like, Alright, we're back, boys, like just people our age and then like le even just little bit younger that grew up playing those games 'cause what Black Ops One came out in two thousand ten and then two came out in twenty twelve. So yeah, it was right around all the time I was in college. I was just like, Man, these were like and a lot of times they're that was the golden age of Call of Duty is where it basically it was people side quest becca: Mm. Mikey: god. Yeah. Chris: peak for Yep. Yep. World at War, those are all great. And then act Yep. Yep. Yep. Yeah. Mikey: Modern Warfare two and then Black Ops One and Two. Black Ops three is where they started to lose me when they did the wall running. And then side quest becca: yeah, that is ridiculous. Mikey: Adv Advanced Warfighter came out with jet packs and more running wall running. Chris: yeah. Then they leaned into Infinite Warfare and then although they that was a great campaign, but yeah it yeah. That's advanced warfare. Advanced yeah. Yeah. Yeah, there's just like I said, and they I could tell they tried if you play Black Ops seven, they tried to like capture that lightning in a bottle again with two by making it a somewhat of a sequel to Black Ops Two and it just it did not work. Mikey: Infinite Warfare had a great campaign. Kevin Spacey. Was that Advanced War? I can't I can't keep up. side quest becca: yeah. Mikey: Dude, Black Ox the newest Black Ox makes me so mad. It's it's spawn death. Spawn death. And I know people if they do listen, they're y'all just you just get better. B y'all old couch gamers. Yeah, okay, fine. But we're the ones that built these games that y'all fucking have ruined. Chris: It's yeah, it was awful. It was not good. Yeah, it's not good. side quest becca: Mm, mm. Get good. Chris: And Black Black Ops One, I that one continues to surprise me 'cause it is like using the same graphics engine, like a more updated graphics engine to what World at War had, but like I love that campaign so much. I remember playing it just 'cause like you're literally st starting with Alex Mason in the chair, basically being interrogated, and it's just so cool to play Mikey: Mm-hmm. Chris: like during that time in the sixties, Vietnam and then in the early seventies like that. I just thought that was so cool. That y Mikey: Remember when Black Ops Four was like, We're just not gonna have a campaign at all? Chris: Yeah, yeah. That was ridiculous. Black Ops Three had Christopher Maloney from Law and Order SV Trangoboom. side quest becca: Hell yeah. Mikey: Was it didn't they skip Black Ops five? That was Cold War, right? Chris: Mm-hmm. That was Cold War. Yeah. Mikey: And then what was Black Ops six? Chris: That was the one back in the early nineties, which wasn't a bad one. I didn't mind Black Ops six. That's what introduced Omni movement, and then a year later, here comes seven, just I was just like, What are y'all doing? What are y'all doing? But yeah, Black Ops one and two are definitely my favorites. And again, like here in the lobbies, it's funny. They're like, the Brits woke up 'cause like I guess as it got later in the day Mikey: That's right, that's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you're right. Yeah. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Chris: everybody in Europe realized, one and two have dropped and then you could like slowly see the whole world kind of start playing more and more and then Mikey: So what made them want to drop these on the PlayStation? Just out of nowhere. Chris: I don't know. I I don't really know I don't really know like the background behind it. I mean I know like they've been on Xbox for a while now through just like Game Pass and everything, but I guess they were just I think the company or developer was called Iron Galaxies. They are the ones that ported it. and we really haven't had any issues. I mean again it's just like playing the original ones, honestly. I haven't really seen any issues with it. Mm-hmm. Yep. Yep. Yep. Mikey: Mm. Hmm. They have trophies? Good. Excellent. side quest becca: Mm. Chris: It's it's really I l I really enjoy playing I forgot how archaic Black Ops one is. And it is a little bit clunkier than two, but I like the old Call of Duty before it got so competitive. I think two Black Ops two was like the first one where it truly got competitive. What is exciting though is that you can make on Black Ops Two your own emblems again. dude. Mikey: Yeah. Yeah, I've I've been seeing TikToks about it. side quest becca: That's cool. Mikey: People are make remaking the classic super racist emblems and it's just we're back to it's Chris: I've never I've never I've never heard so much just slurs and just homophobic stuff. It was just I like, we're all back Mikey: I remember I was playing Black Ops Two on Steam when it first came out and guess I have a ch country twang to my voice and these people started ragging me and were like, Where are you from, boy? And I was like, Memphis, Tennessee and they like, Y'all got internet down there? That's crazy as hell and they were just ragging me. Chris: Yeah, it it's like that every lobby. It's so much fun. Everybody's laughing. I've been seeing people online just talk about like the world is healing again now with everybody playing. Yep. Mikey: It has to be, man. We have to at a certain point when everything is too much, it's gonna flip flop and everything's gonna be okay again. Like we all have to relax. It's all jokes. Just relax. And you've been muted for a good minute there, Beck. Chris: Yeah. You want to get back to the essential side quest becca: Mm-hmm. I know, my bad. Chris: She's been talking the whole time, just waving. side quest becca: Where are they listening to me? Well that would be anything new, anyways. Don't call me out on this podcast making people think I'm broke as fuck. I'll send you money. Or you get it. Mikey: I will s I will send you some money so you can buy Black Ops two. Hey, I'm the Chris: Yeah. Mikey: I'm you know, it's like I'm the boss again, you know, since I got fired. I'll I'll I'll send you some money so you can buy the I'll approve it. Write me a P. O. side quest becca: My gosh. Chris: Just expense it, Becca. I'll approve it. side quest becca: Yeah. No, but you were talking about trophies. So earlier I was listening to just video game Lo Fi 'cause I'm a nerd like that. And they there was a piece from Super Smash Brothers Brawl that was on there and it got me thinking about okay for did either of you play Smash Brothers Brawl? Mikey: Not a piece. not a Smash Brothers fan, sorry. Chris: was the one is that the one on Wii? No. I only played I only played Melee. I played the original on N sixty four Melee on GameCube and I think I played Ultimate like once. side quest becca: I knew that but yes. So that So Brawl is my favorite. it's got a really good st it's got a fantastic story mode or campaign mode. And the trophy system I think is in that is one of the best of any game that I've played. And you have this lovely trophy room that you can go to and it has everything you've gotten s you know that you've collected and it's got this beautiful, whimsical music and it just calms me. Sorry, I just we're talking about tro Okay. I just thought I'd talk about Chris: What? Okay. Mikey: No, I like that. I'm just I just I just discovered how to do my soundboard again, sorry. So I had to throw one in. side quest becca: No, it was it was Chris: Ha ha ha. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Chris: y all excited about any games coming out this month? I.e. Halo campaign evolved? Yep. Just a few more weeks involved. Yeah. Cancelled. side quest becca: What do we got coming out this month? Mikey: Halo co campaign involved. I said campaign involved. What an idiot. side quest becca: Gonna get roasted. Mikey: yeah. I just started playing Black Flag Recync, so I'm excited about that. I know it just came out this weekend. what else? side quest becca: having I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm spending hours in Havana right now just trying to find everything. Mikey: Yeah, the Halo I bought the Call of Duty games we've been talking about, so I'm excited to replay jump into those again, play some multiplayer. Which I think we should stream. That should be something that we stream is just some mindless multiplayer. what else? side quest becca: Mm. Tune in Wednesday for a stream. Chris: yeah. Mikey: think that's it. I bought there was a bunch of stuff on sale on Playstation. side quest becca: And on the Wii. I mean the switch, sorry, my God. Mikey: Yeah, I bought the two Final Fantasy Sevens that are out right now. I bought those on Switch. I've been playing Mario RPG, which is great. it's a little goof. I mean, alright, so here's my here's my problem with a lot of Nintendo games. I love Nintendo, but like I don't get like the supposed cutscenes that they have where side quest becca: It's fun. It's cute. It's whimsical and fun. Mikey: Why don't they ever put any effort into into that? Like you'll have like Mario's trying to tell Toad something and he's going like he's just jumping around doing all this and Toad's like, yeah, we gotta get over there then. I mean just I don't know, it's just goofy. side quest becca: You mean? It's it's cute. That's part of that's part of its charm. Mikey: I don't know, man. It's a little dated. But I I I'm I'm having a lot of fun with it. Even Final Fantasy Tactics. Final Fantasy Tactics, you're breaking up super bad. I don't know what's going on. Final Fantasy Tactics has a lot of storytelling cutscenes and it's fine. It's Nintendo just has this way, especially in Mario games, that everything's goofy. side quest becca: I I I love it. I mean I get what you're saying by state. Yeah. They don't I don't feel like they need it. It's fine, it's just whimsical and Mikey: And Chris: It's time to grow up, Nintendo. side quest becca: I mean, you don't really I mean Mikey: Well like their Zelda games are fine, but like side quest becca: Well Mario's another protagonist that doesn't really talk. He just makes noises. Have you ever except for the movies, obviously? Right, in in the movies, but you know, in the games it's just Right. That's but that's Lynn Lee goes, Yeah, you know, he just all kinds of weird noises and and stu I mean it's the same concept. Which I I get what you're saying because the legend Chris: He talks now. He's he's Chris Pratt. Chris Pratt gave him a voice. Mikey: And he's always gone, Yahoo, and all that crap. Mm. side quest becca: Tears of the Kingdom and Brother Wild, they have cutscenes. And Link just doesn't talk. I get that. But Mikey: Well no, not even that 'cause I know this is an old game, but like even like the newer Mario games. I side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Mikey: I I don't know. They're just I've just never been into Mario that much. I love Super Mario Sunshine and sixty four and but like and I was when I was a kid I played Mario Brothers three constantly, but side quest becca: That one's so good. That one's one of my favorite games of all time. Mm-hmm. Chris: Yeah, that was. side quest becca: Classic. Mikey: But I mean, I don't know, there RPG's cool. It's very simple. It's a very simplistic game. When you're used to like Final Fantasy Tactics will give you multiple fighting styles and and stuff like that. RP Mario RPG's like attack and super attack. Chris: yeah, yeah, it's very simple. side quest becca: Mm mm. Well, you get more Chris: Very similar to like the Mario and Luigi series from like the Game Boy and DS, and then you also have the Paper Mario series. So they they kind of That's right, yeah. They were like those are the gate like the sagas or the series that were evolved that evolved from Super Mario RPG. I was surprised they did a one for one. Yeah, ex yeah, I mean Right. Yeah. But Mikey: Bruh. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Mikey: Which which I Paper Mario's a little more advanced too. And look, I appreciate it. I don't need every game to be overly complicated. That's fine. But it's just side quest becca: Yeah. Mikey: it's nice to be able to just pick it up and play it and it's fine. what else is coming out? Chris: Yeah. side quest becca: I might have to replay through RPG. Mikey: I bought some horror games on PlayStation as well. Some indie games that Becca wouldn't dare touch because they're not nines or tens. triple A, quadruple A games. but what I I plan on doing with them is just games for the record. I know I'm just messing with you. What I plan on doing is side quest becca: I love indie games for the record. Mikey: Not sh not really streaming them. I may if people get into it, but I'm just gonna make let's plays with my face, face cam and everything, the whole deal. And post them on our YouTube and see if I can get some traction that way. Because I'm I'm having a hard time here, man, with everything I'm trying to do. I've got several channels I'm doing. I've got a lore channel, which everybody should check out. It's called Feed Me Lore, all in one word. And it's just it's AI, I'm not gonna lie to you, it's AI, little one-minute clips of character lore from Elder Scrolls, Elden Ring, Dark Souls, and now anime shows. And they're they're done pretty good. They're done well, and it's catching on quite a bit. I've had over twenty thousand views in the past month, but Chris: That's cool. I'll check that out. side quest becca: Anyway, yeah. Mm-hmm. Mikey: I'm working on music. I've got two or three little synth wave E Ps out under Retro Ghost. side quest becca: Yeah, go check out the sorry. Hang on. Mikey: Retro Ghost is spelled Retro G O S T. Retro Ghost, but it's ghost. side quest becca: Yeah. Go check out VHS romance. It's very, very good. I've been listening to it. Mikey: Yeah. And what else am I doing? I'm doing this podcast of course and I'm trying to I want us to do more on here. So if I could ever just I don't know, during the week I'm like, Yeah, we're gonna stream and stuff and then I'm like, I don't feel like it. I gotta get past that. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Yep. Mikey: 'cause I w I wanna do more. Right now I'm unemployed. I could really be doing more to push a lot of this stuff. side quest becca: So we will be streaming Wednesday, so no worries, 'cause that is happening on Wednesday, seven o'clock. Mikey: Why are you so set on Wednesdays, man? I might not wanna do it on Wednesday. What if I wanna do it on Fridays? side quest becca: Okay. Stream this week. Chris: We also need to make sure and we need to make sure everybody knows it's on the YouTube channel to check out that stream. Mikey: Yeah. Yeah, I'm it's gonna be I'm doing restreams, so that's another thing I'm paying for. So it's Twitch and YouTube will st it'll stream at the same time. So if you're on Twitch you can catch us there if you're on YouTube. But the VODs will be on YouTube as well. side quest becca: We'll announce on our face. Chris: And that's that's twitch.tv slash sidequestcinema. And then youtube.com slash sidequest cinema. Mikey: Yeah. side quest becca: There you go. And we'll announce it on our Facebook when we're gonna stream this week. Mikey: And what I And nobody follows us on the Facebook either. We need to I I need to figure out how people promote. 'Cause like I promote and it costs money and it's like nothing comes of it. like I promoted I promoted TikTok videos. I've done that constantly. I've probably spent two or two hundred or three hundred dollars on promoting and we'll get a lot of views. side quest becca: I won't TikTok. We can make a quick TikTok video this week. Views. Mikey: But nobody will comment. Nob I mean, we get a few comments here and there, but like I don't know. side quest becca: Mm. And we appreciate any all the comments. We really do. Thank you for commenting. Mikey: I don't know how to break that barrier. 'Cause I've got like I said, three different things going on and I can't break it with any of these. I can't break that barrier of people viewing the content and then just scrolling away. I don't know yeah. I don't know how to get past that. So if you're a creator, a small creator like us and you've found some kind of way, like I know a lot of people do little cheat things, like they'll say something super wrong in their video. side quest becca: I'm sure that's a problem a lot of like creators face. Mikey: like just outlandishly wrong so people will comment. Yeah. And people will be like, You're stupid, it's blah blah blah. Chris: for like click but yeah, just to get yeah. I mean I think Yeah, side quest becca: No. Chris: and we can cut this out, we can edit it out, whatever, but I would say incentivizing whatever we're doing, like on the streams, like super chats, I think that's gonna be a big thing is getting people more engaged. And I think maybe we do that on YouTube and Twitch. These we're not having much interaction. We're just throwing it out to the ether and saying, Hey, check it out. Yeah, we gotta get I think streaming is gonna be where we get our audience and then we can Mikey: Yeah. Right. That's the thing. and That's what Becca's been pushing on me because like that will automatically bring interaction, just boom. Chris: Yeah. Then yeah, then you plug the podcast and be like, you got a podcast? Okay, well I'll check it out. We can put that in the super chat, you know, as a link or side quest becca: Mm. Mikey: And Which it would be cool because like if, you know, a bunch of new people join the stream and they're like, I like this group of people. They're they're funny. But like, hey, we've got a podcast that has twenty three episodes already. Go check it out. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Chris: Yeah. Right. Yeah. side quest becca: Yeah. You can binge it and watch some of the clips. You can see how funny we are. Check out our Trump impressions. That's one of our best videos. Mikey: Yeah, I'm surprised I hadn't been shut down because of that. side quest becca: No, I mean you're making fun of him, so yeah, it's good. Mikey: Well, yeah. But yeah, I'm trying to figure I we can cut all this out too, but like I'm trying to figure out how we can sh all stream like if we're playing Black Ops two, how I can capture everybody's face, I don't I don't think it's possible. side quest becca: This is a lot of face. Chris: I think we gotta do it through Discord. Mikey: Yeah. I could always do the Discord where I capture everybody's like the chat, I capture it. And also capture my gameplay. But like you you get and I know that we could get there eventually, like with if we ever got big enough to have like editors and shit. But like what I would love to be able to do is like it zooms in on me and I you see my gameplay and blah blah blah blah blah and then like Chris: Yeah, we c Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mikey: Becca does something funny and we clip over to her gameplay. You know, that's that's a lot though. Chris: Yeah, that would have to be done like as like a posted video though, of like after the stream. So you could do Mikey: Yeah. side quest becca: A woman do something funny? Chris: Well you could do one week where you do Michael's stream and then the next week is Becca and then the following week is ours. And then you could do videos of like highlights of the stream that has all three of us of whatever we find. Again, we comb through our individual streams and say, Hey, do we wanna put this in the final edit video? Similar like what Doctor Disrespect does. He does a lot of that where he's streaming, but then he'll go back and edit and do like a video based on whatever he was doing that week. side quest becca: That's true. We could always Mm-hmm. Mikey: Mm-hmm. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Chris: I think that'd be pretty cool. side quest becca: yeah, and I'm clipping some funny stuff from Black Flag so that gets in your way. Mikey: Yeah, also if you're playing on PlayStation and you're just gaming by yourself, chilling, record some clips and d just send them to me and I can weekly just up d I can form videos out of that stuff. side quest becca: Mm-hmm. Chris: Clip it chat. side quest becca: I'm doing it. I am. Chris: Okay. Yeah. side quest becca: Yeah, because my game's already glitched a couple of times. So And I ax I accidentally killed a civilian by using one of the lifts on the side of the buildings. I guess I took the lift up and the other part came down and killed him. And I was like, What? I didn't and it just said Edward did not kill civilians or animals. I was like, I didn't mean to. He was in my way. I didn't know. I've already accidentally killed a chicken too. A chicken should not have been in the middle of an assassin fight, okay? Mikey: Mine did too, and I Yeah. Nice. Chris: Edward wouldn't do something like this. How could you? side quest becca: Get the get the fuck out of the way, chicken. Mikey: You ruined Edward for me. You make 'cause she said he looks like Vince Neal in the eighties and he side quest becca: The what you s the picture you sent me looks like Vince Neal with like the bandana and whatnot. You tell me I'm wrong. Chris: That's crazy. Mikey: Hang on, let me show you. Chris: King Sun. side quest becca: Mm. Chris: And and side quest becca: There's that giant mason glass of sweet tea. Chris: I've been listening to some David Lee Roth. Mikey: Classic. side quest becca: I don't feel tardy. Mikey: I don't feel tardy. Alright, well I guess we can cut it, man. it's a good episode. I hope everybody's I hope everybody's enjoyed themselves. side quest becca: Mm. Chris: It is. Mikey: Yeah. Chris: Check us out on the next stream. We'll let y'all know. side quest becca: Yeah. We'll post about it. We'll push it. Mikey: TikTok's really the the one that everybody sees the most. side quest becca: Yeah, we can push it on there, it's fine. We'll just we'll get together, we'll pick a day and then we'll push it. Mikey: Yeah. side quest becca: But we gotta stick to the day and the time. I can't do Thursday, I have a meeting Thursday. I'm sorry. Mikey: That's fine, we'll figure it out. side quest becca: He's like, Thursday's the only day I can stream. Mikey: No, we'll figure it out. And I'll be making some gaming videos and blah blah blah blah blah and we'll we'll figure it out. side quest becca: Yeah. Chris: Same. Well let's play some we can play some Black Ops later on tonight if y'all want to. side quest becca: Sounds good. Okay, thanks. Mikey: I'll send you that twenty dollars back. Chris: Go buy yourself go buy yourself something nice. Mikey: y'all see y'all n next week. Bye. Chris: So yeah.
