Akash Kshirsagar: Psst. Hi everyone, my name is Ornella and I am the volunteer and community hubs coordinator at the DEF CON team at the Ethereum Foundation. I want to say thank you to Ethereum Cat Herders for the invitation to commemorate International Women's Day with some fun rapid fire questions. Here we go. One word that defines women in Web3? Pioneers. Blockchain in one word? Ethereum. Builder, researcher, or community. What describes me best? I'm definitely a community builder with a passion for research and learning new things. Biggest opportunity for women in blockchain? Well, the fact to be able to work in a remote first environment is really helpful. This culture helps a lot with family work balance so that women can thrive in every aspect. One skill every Web3 woman should learn? Definitely time management. One myth about women in tech you want to break? The typical, right? That we're not that many, but I really think we are a lot. We're just busy building. My proudest Web3 moment? It's not just one, it's several as every time I'm actually able to onboard someone new to Ethereum that really needs it, that moment when it clicks is really a rewarding experience in every sense. And also being the volunteer community hubs coordinator for DevConnect Argentina was also a very beautiful experience. DeFi governance or infra? Definitely, I would say DeFi. Want to work for the future of Web3? Ethereum. Inclusion, what does that mean to me? It means everything. Coffee or code? Coffee with code? Code with coffee, I would say both. White Paper or podcast? Definitely a podcast. Online or in-person events? Both have its charm, but in-person events have that unique and special aspect that we all need as social human beings. L1 or L2? Definitely L1. Hackathon or conference? I love DEF CON, so I'll have to go with conference. One word for Women's Day? Honor. A woman in Web3 who inspires me at the moment? Nick So from Protocol Support at the Ethereum Foundation. I think she does a great job and it's really awesome to see her work. Message to women entering WebFree, one line. I would say learn in public. Documenting your learning journey really helps you also build your personal brand and also just like it's sometimes good to look back at what you wrote at some point. It makes you realize how far you've come. So documenting and sharing your learning journey is really something worth doing. One word. Decentralization feels like, I would say it feels like our brain because all the nodes and they simulate like the neurons and the synapses are the transactions right between the blockchain. And so it definitely looks like a one giant brain. The future is bright and it's built on Ethereum. Always remember that Ethereum is for everyone. And thank you so much Ethereum Cat Herders for the invitation to commemorate International Women's Day. See you at Def Con.
