speaker-1: So we've got the better half of minus breaks. It turns around then we'll speaker-0: What? speaker-1: say that. Turn around right. no, I'm better not. Just just saying how good you are. speaker-0: He said we just got half of minus breaks, that's what he said. He said half of it. speaker-1: He said it was saying he's a hard working, better looking Anything to say about? No. Anything to say back? No? speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: we don't mean not too bad. speaker-0: Yeah, we'll take it. Yeah, I'm going to make it myself. great performance, like who won? speaker-1: We don't actually know. So we were told we'd have a scoreboard with like the price is going up. Yeah. But the numbers couldn't go over single figures. So we speaker-0: Every car went over a single corner. speaker-1: Yeah, yeah. So we were like just just having a bit of fun and then the guy kept asking what should I put the score as? Yeah. So we just told him to add three on to mine. So I'm I was six nil up six nil on scoreboard and speaker-0: It's an integer N6, 0. I've watched that. speaker-1: We overran by three minutes, so we had to ten second start the big cards. So yeah, but it's not lovely place. But some people got some bargains. speaker-0: I've got myself a nice little Red Geo's and a Black Laser. Very nice car. I think he's going to be good player. speaker-1: Yeah, it could be. speaker-0: He some lovely cars up there though. speaker-1: man. speaker-0: It's interesting being on the other side of it and doing bidding and stuff and how sort of excitable it is but how difficult it is actually to, especially when it's sudden death. speaker-1: Exactly. speaker-0: You don't realise, because I was doing that and like, want an X-ray and from nowhere I'm like, I'm trying to react and it's just like, I was like... speaker-1: There's a little bit of a delay on either lab as well. speaker-0: There is a little bit, so I'm when you're saying, it's like I'm watching you, I'm like, yeah, I know what's going on, was like, two minutes, I've to tell you time it you said go on, I'm like, hang on a minute. Yeah, and looked alone. speaker-1: Yeah, sorry. How was yesterday? She had a big stream with Jamie Harra. Yeah. Good. speaker-0: So really speaker-1: Yeah. I know you worried because it's Tottenham. speaker-0: Yeah, it was tricky. have a lot of conversations beforehand about it. He was on Best of Eight. I did have to yellow card him though. He said up first. I to yellow card him. got the yellow card up. To be fair, he was fantastic. It was really good. lot of engagement from pre-show. So we could let him know what we're doing first and foremost. And just face it to be himself and have fun. That's the main thing. When these talent come on, I think they're so aware of what's going on. They forget just to like, it's a hobby. Just go there and enjoy it. out because that's what people want to see. speaker-1: It it's amazing when you do and you don't speak to before, the last five minutes of stream are always so good 'cause you everyone's loosened up a little bit and speaker-0: As we've done choice before, get out there first of all and you ask the basic questions, like who's your favourite player and all of this. By the end of it you're OK, so we're used to before a game and they're like, yeah, we did this and stories didn't even come and change. But they all are, think. Every guest we've had and we've seen you have guests as well, they've been really good. They have been really good and they do spend time learning it and I like it when they show genuine interest in what's going on. And you can see it when they're listening, they're like, this, I enjoy this. speaker-1: It's one of the good things about the US E guys is like we literally had Tom Aspen on the stream and he's pulling a card and he's texting the guy that's on the card showing him a picture and it's like where else do you get that like literally? speaker-0: get it anywhere else and they've got this kind of content to everyone. He's speaker-1: Just can't keep up with it. speaker-0: got to himself in somewhere, doesn't he? Dennis is a horrible trait. The green suits you, Dale. The green suits you, speaker-1: Yeah yeah yeah we'll take you on. We'll do a swap. I'll come do your job for a bit. speaker-0: There you go, you're pretty much in it now. speaker-1: No. speaker-0: When we done the thing with I can't remember what it was, so we was opening the car and says, that's my car that is. was like, it's Jordan and Rhoades. Jordan and was like, that's what I was. Next thing, FaceTime. On the screen, FaceTime and Jordan was like, how we doing? speaker-1: Matt. speaker-0: It's just mental and I think the more time you spend with these kind of people you realise they are just like us. They love hobbies, love the collectible side of stuff and the engagement. They love the banter and stuff and it is really, really good for the hobby to get these people involved and exposure that they can bring is really fun. Jamie's all over, he's already texted today actually saying he loved it, really good fun. You're going to want boxes. He's like, yeah, we'll get Cundi on next time. speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: That was good fun. Did see the messy though? speaker-1: Yeah, they came down speaker-0: I've a messy patch, Lorto, like just from one of the box breaks. Absolutely mental. Did speaker-1: They We sold it for speaker-0: you? brilliant. Nice work, yeah, because she was Pokemon and she had no clue. speaker-1: Yeah, that's what she was selling it to go spend it on the kit she like first car show as well, wasn't it? Yeah. speaker-0: First ever card show, Pokemon, just pulled like a 1200 pound card. Just on stage. speaker-1: Yeah she up 'cause she went to the subcentre and she was gonna grade it but then they told her not to because it's thick and that lot she came over here and we're like it's not something but go down there. So we bought it on the way she was like, they're over from Bermuda, first card show. And it was like it's not all it's not always like speaker-0: I always get messy always by the way. speaker-1: But yeah, they were they're cashing out and then you're she like kids have been going round like looking at the table's going on, we can't spend that, we can't spend that shot. Got no excuse now, have I? speaker-0: No, seems no. again, stuff like that, you're not going to see that in many other places in the world. speaker-1: No. speaker-0: Different spaces, aren't you? No. Little kids, Pokemon, got up on stage just because we was doing a little bit. Called a messy auto, walkthrough, 1200 bit. Yeah, speaker-1: Yeah, probably just for us. speaker-0: she's a pro player, she did. She very intimidated meeting myself, obviously. Jamie O'Rourke. speaker-1: Yeah, it was speaker-0: Well that is fantastic. Mum actually reached out to us on Instagram to thank you so much for your patience and understanding on stage and reaching out and making sure everyone's OK. speaker-1: There's a lot of eyes on you on there, aren't there? a lot of people passing the speaker-0: It's a lot of people. But again, great opportunity, great experience. We're really enjoying it. speaker-1: Yeah. What's the plan for the card show today then? Are you are you buying or you just speaker-0: Today it's just little bit of looking around. We're just so hectic with the prep and getting in sort of in the zone if you like for the show. We kind of lose the day just focusing on that. So today we're just going around speaking to people like yourself, having a good catch up with our friends in the hobby. Bought a couple of cards as well. Picked up a nice little one on one Zola. Think I'm looking at one of those. Got to get the PC game with Zola don't we? Yeah. speaker-1: What is your PC though? speaker-0: Zola is my PC, So Zola is my go-to, my number one PC. I've got so many of his cards and the great thing about the community is every time Zola pops up online or something like that, they'll either let me know or some of them will just bite and just send it to me. I'm just like... Once a week I'll get a Zola in a post from someone in the community and it's just absolutely amazing. speaker-1: That's what you want. speaker-0: Zola is my main guy, Zola. what I've done as well, because of... We'll have a look. We'll have a look, you cheeky boy. Because of... Well, as long as it's for me, it was my favourite play and to pick up his cars is not too expensive. It was quite a bit. I had fun with it and not have to put myself into too much debt. speaker-1: Is it not got a big market? Not me, no that's I'm at all. speaker-0: I picked up, again, most of these cards, I've never had to pay over four figures for one these cards. And that's including an on-card, one-on-ones, everything like that. So I collected them and sometimes, as we do, someone gets hold of the PC and then every time I ask... 10, 20 % extra, so I was like, this is it. So my lucky number is 21. I have now started, a month ago, a collection of 21 cards. So when you get a card, it'll be 21 or 25. 21 or 150, 21 or 399. Any card that's got 21 on it, I've just started collecting. Again, because these are so random, it picks them up super cheap. So again, I've had the community just sending me some. I've had to fill up my whole shelf for only the 21. speaker-1: Anything just. speaker-0: Anything 21 is set Tottenham. speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: Anything 21 is set Tottenham. So I've got that baseball card, 21 of 1.99, then a Stranger Things card, Eric St. Clair, 21 of 50. Got a Bray Wyatt massive patch, 21 of 50. speaker-1: I'll keep an at the shop and see what's going speaker-0: 21's man, it's just, for me, every 21 or something is a one on one for me, because it's the only 21 off, right? And it's cool, because Malaka Nam has been Malaka Nam forever. Yeah, just that. speaker-1: Yeah, it's it's cool. No like I think from having the shop and stuff like I got a bit numb to like the big bigger cards like the MLB Disney I'm all over that at the minute and like speaker-0: That's a 10-1 though. Sorry. Fine him. speaker-1: but speaker-0: Yes, take that, just like that. speaker-1: yeah like I've got the Mickey base in the national. Like random stuff that's got a story behind it and stuff that is little bit different. speaker-0: It's got bit of meaning behind it rather than just chasing the flips and stuff. I like that. speaker-1: Yeah. I've I've not got a very good self control either, so if I'm chasing like some I'm like speaker-0: If you home in a one piece thing you're gonna... Yeah. Shut up and run next time. speaker-1: Yeah, yeah, Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. It'd just be a big PC there, pretty much. speaker-0: He pence-face-es you. Not fur down. speaker-1: That's pretty much how it started. Yeah. The shop. really? Because we went through doing all the shows, we're at shows like every week. And you know what's like you pick up a boxer here, box there. Yeah. So we do it and then we're like, we've done well this week, we'll get a box. We've done bad we'll come as we're with box. You know what I mean? So we just have like corals everywhere. And we're well if you open a shot now, we've got enough cards and that'll be pretty much it. We're not sold though, we just put it in box. Yeah, just put it on the Yeah, mental. speaker-0: The five years have been fantastic and motivating for someone like ourselves to watch where we are wanting to do content stuff like you guys as well. do a lot of that, do the shows, not on this level but it's good to see how you guys have gone from strength to strength with it. You've expanded the team, the opportunities you've got as well as talentless. It's really good to see the hobby can get to that place with hard work and consistency. speaker-1: Yeah. I think for all this networking, the amount of chats we have and you're like, I'll just do this or do that like so many people help out.
