Jason: Welcome, well collectors, to another episode of Boomin' Sports Cards, the podcast where the hobby stays hot and the cards stays boomin'. I'm one of your hosts, Jason. chat: And I'm Alex, so we'll be discussing some of the headlines across the hobby from PSA officially shutting down, players whose stock is rising in the month of May, and much more. Jason: Let's do it. So PSA ⁓ Professional Sports Authenticator has passed four service levels due to the overwhelming backlog of submissions that company announced on Thursday. I feel like this was coming. A lot of people were talking about it for the last couple of months and now it's reality and people wanna people are freaking out 'cause now you can't ship out your your cards. So ⁓ a big deal. What what's your thoughts on it? chat: could have solved this like a while ago 'cause they shut down back in twenty twenty during COVID. but and then I think it's just they just invest up some money too. Like w where the hell did that money go? Like Jason: Yeah, I mean they i i they just purchased that other ⁓ company ⁓ beckett that's a lot of money. And th ⁓ cheap these services aren't cheap, so they have the the funds to get more people on board. ⁓ yeah, effective June second PSA is pausing value bulk, value, value plus, value max. yeah, cause n now the only service available is your regular Tier, but now that's eighty dollars it's still forty to fifty days turnaround time, which is insane. chat: ⁓ they should well by June second they do still have the fifty ⁓ fifty ⁓ fifty bulk, but that's if you send fifty to cards that you wanna get graded. We were gonna do that at home, but I don't have I think ⁓ the most I have is maybe like fifteen cards I wanna get graded. My dad's like, Yeah, I only have like maybe fifteen till thirty. Where where's the other twenty cards gonna come from? And then the prices are gonna be like twelve hundred. Jason: Yeah. chat: by January, so you might as well just wait and then yeah. Jason: it's insane. Like, yeah, it's such an like everyone wants these PSA cards, so it's coming it's becoming more of a thing. People are simply making money from just screening cards, which is like a big takeaway from this. People are gonna have to find new ways to make money and not rely on just screening cards. But it's insane. I it's supposed it's what, like three to four months that will be closed until like they reduce that backlog. ⁓ four months, that's what it is. Four month threshold. that's insane. chat: Yeah. So so basically if I so yeah, if I basically send the the fifty ball, it's still the same amount of time. So I would rather just wait four months and then add the three months after they fix everything. Jason: Yeah. hopefully like the when they come back they get their shit together. ⁓ hopefully quicker turnaround times. I doubt it. But if they can reduce it the turnaround time and all that it'll be worth it. chat: I was gonna send my Wimby card, but I can't now because dad was busting my balls earlier or this week 'cause he did clean it and like fixed the corner and he said that it's most likely to get a nine and services is eighty dollars and the card is like fifty bucks and then like well I paid fifty bucks, it's like a hundred bucks now. But if it back a nine, I think a nine's like a hundred and fifty bucks. I do I do lose some money though, so Jason: do you think like these ⁓ slabs, like even like the cheaper slabs go up? Or do you think it's gonna be like nothing changed or only like the high end, do you think? chat: ⁓ I think TCG just halted everything too. Part of me was like, no one really cares, guys. You can have your little pausing somewhere else. ⁓ 'cause I just saw something on that the other day and then yeah, my dad's already thinking of ways of selling cards right now. So he's gonna he said that he's only gonna sell send cards that are over five hundred dollars to PSA. Anything less than fi five hundred he can just wait. 'cause you don't want to lose money on online. ⁓ Jason: Mm-hmm. Yeah, there's no point. There's no point. Yeah, you send like a ten dollar card, twenty dollar card, and you're still paying like eighty dollars to get it graded. What's the point in that? And and then you gamble, it's like is it gonna get an eight? Is it gonna get a nine? Or a ten? It's yeah, it's a big gamble now with that kind of price. Eighty dollars for ⁓ still forty to fifty day turnaround time, that's still really dumb. chat: Yeah. No, no, yeah. Yeah. To the person who's sending base cards, please stop doing that. Jason: Yeah, I mean that's probably a reason why it's it's backed up. People send anything they want and next you know it there's a bunch of six and fives and these low graded cards on the market and it takes PSA a long time to grade even those. chat: Well we're in the second crash of PSA in our lifetime, so let's see how many we get more by the time we're like fifty Jason. Probably like maybe five more times. Jason: Yeah, right. Yeah, it's PSA graded over nineteen million cards in twenty twenty five. Like that's insane. And the trajectory of this is going up and up. TCG, we haven't even discussed that. Like that's like what the majority of like their grading. then sports is booming every time more cards come out, ⁓ more possibilities happen. It's insane. So hopefully fix all their stuff. I mean this is PSC being transparent that we fucked up. We're there's a lot of backlog. We yeah, we need to get this shit done or we're never gonna do it. And your card's gonna be stuck there for a minute. So good for them. Bad for the collector industry, because now they've gotta look for alternatives. Maybe an someone else steps up who has like a better chat: We fucked up. Jason: better service than PSA, I doubt it, but there's so there's so many grading p out there. There's someone bound to step up, you know? chat: Something's about I think the next person that's gonna take a big step be CGC. I think people won't really use Back it as much 'cause their ⁓ their what is it, custom service and UI isn't the best, so Jason: Mm-hmm. I I I heard rumors that like th there might be like fanatics somehow involved. chat: Oops. This is a big play from fanatics to start grading cards. Fuck off. Just fuck off. Jason: Yeah, right. Next thing you know, we get Fanatic Slabs out there and then and then it's gonna have a cheap ⁓ like tag that's gonna wear off in a couple of years or something dumb like that, like their t shirts th they sell. chat: We're gonna see a ⁓ ad from Tom Brady. I just I just slapped this card for you. I rated a ten and it's a rookie Tom Brady. Here you go. I'm like, damn it, Tom Jason: Well we got pro athlete we got pro athletes creating cards now. chat: Tamatom, are you that broke? Does it did Giselle take the money again this month? Jason: Ton Brady's in the lab just checking out cards, making sure they're ton they're not tanned. chat: Just like he checks if he follows he you follow on Instagram and he's like, All right, you get 10. Jason: Yeah, right? insane. but yeah, hopefully they fix their shit. So yeah, so PSA shut down temporarily or forever. Ha ha ha. I don't know. all right, so let's move on to rising players in the card market. So these are based on the app called Alt. Got these stats going. so we're I chose was it four out of like the big four chat: Yeah, okay. Temporarily. Jason: For sports. So the first one that came upon, big surprise, not. Victor Wimbanyama has increased thirty eight point six two in the past month his market. And that is not a surprise, Alex. chat: That is not a surprise I paid fifty dollars for ⁓ Wimby based card the other day. Who couldn't hold it. I couldn't. Now it's a hundred dollars, so thank God I paid fifty bucks for that card. Jason: Yeah, I mean, he has dominated the playoffs. I mean game that game seven, he dominated. Like, he made Chet scared out of nowhere. Chet was not a factor. He Wemyama dunked on him and next thing you know it Chet's hiding in the corner. Not even involved. he's only twenty two. I that's what one of the things I keep getting annoyed is like I think sports card nonsense like, ⁓ so you gotta sell Wemby now. this is the highest he's gonna get. I'm like, bro, he's 22 years old. He's in a good franchise, good coach, good cast around him. This man's market is at its bottom for like probably the next five years. chat: And they're just trying to I was I showed videos those videos you sent me to my ⁓ my dad and my dad's like, Yeah, those guys just want you to sell this like they buy ⁓ off of you. Yeah. Yeah. Jason: Yeah. All the comments are like that that's what the Otani sellers told you back in whenever he was really low before the Dodgers. yeah, Wemby, he's a dog. His cards are gonna keep going up. I have a lot of his cards, keep buying more. But also be reasonable, don't fucking buy some dumb shit and next thing you know what goes down. Not not every instert or not every card of Wemby is gonna be valuable. chat: For the Dodgers. ⁓ why not? Jason: ⁓ yeah, you're good. Or it's a cool looking card. If it's just like a base card, maybe. now go to the NFL. Matthew Golden. In the past month, it's weird. What I was thinking is like, why is Matthew Golden a thing? ⁓ Josh Jacobs. That man did some stuff that should not be mentioned. we can mention it. He he fucking beat up his girlfriend, you know. chat: If it has an R C on it, you're fine. Yes. What if I expire the energy cool then? Yeah. It's Jason: The the whole one two p one two punch. chat: That's ⁓ this guy's ex g not ex girlfriend, but like she was seeing Caleb Williams like couple months before they started dating. Jason: That's what happens when you go to a Packer. but yeah, Matthew Golden up 13.73%. People believe highly on him. He he runs pretty good routes. So I was watching a couple of the Bears game. He's open. So Jordan Love does not throw to him for some reason. But now ⁓ Dobbs is out. He went to the Patriots. So he's probably gonna be one of the main targets. Kraft is still recovering from his injury. chat: Bam. Jason: So he he's gonna be a lot of involved in that offense for the Packers. chat: So how much is that downtown you sold today guy at the show? Jason: ⁓ my god, do I really wanna look it up now? Let me see. chat: Is it a optic or regular? Jason: Dude, I don't even know. but that that was a that was a card. How much did I how much did I sell that for? I I can't remember. chat: We sold it for like two fifty to two I think it was two fifty. And that's why you bought that base ⁓ top P ⁓ PSA ten ⁓ Wembiyama. See that that word that's a word out. Card's four hundred dollars now. Jason: ⁓ yeah. I mean th yeah, that worked out, right? Yeah. It worked out, but yeah, it's it's a tricky one. chat: Jace's like, never mind, not I I don't feel bad about this stupid downtown anymore. It got me a Wobby card. Jason: Yeah, I I like Wemby more. why is it not showing up? chat: last sold ⁓ twenty five. It didn't go up that much. Jason: Yeah. I didn't go up too much. But yeah, people are investing in him. Yeah, he's a good route runner. I still think he's on the smaller side for a wide receiver. So I don't think he's gonna be that impactful, but you never know in the NFL. now we got MLB. You got Jacob Gonzalez from the White Sox. In the past month he has increased forty eight point nine eight percent. his market was very, very low, so that's why it's ⁓ up. chat: That is true. Jason: that much. what's your experience with Jacob, Alex? You know you told me a story about that. chat: ⁓ Man. Man, man, man. ⁓ Sold this auto for five dollars. Five fucking dollars. And don't get me wrong, I look back at it now I was looking okay, 'cause the way I priced it, ⁓ 'cause I went to Florida for a trip before a week before I had took a picture of a bunch of my cards so I could put on eBay so when I get back I can just package them and sell them. And They were all going for five dollars, now they're all going for like forty, fifty dollars. I'm like, ⁓ you gotta be kidding me. But it doesn't hurt a lot. It it bugs me but doesn't hurt because it's a Donruss unlicensed baseball cards. I don't give like it makes me like feel a little bit better, I give a crap that much. Jason: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. If if it was yeah, it had the the White Sox logo or whatever, it would definitely hurt more. ⁓ yeah, but he's a prospect coming out of the White Sox. I don't know too much about him. I know he was killing it in the minor leagues, but ⁓ Murakami got injured, so now he's pretty much stepping into that Murakami first base role. so there's a prospect coming up in the ⁓ in the chat: Yeah, I would have been like crying right now. Let go. Jason: so now in soccer, football, whatever you want to call it, we got Laminha Mall. In the past month he has increased twenty point six eighty percent. And I wonder why, Alex. chat: I wonder why. What what what month is this? June? Isn't it World Cup? No, is that July? Jason: It's June. Flight June. W no, it's the World Cup. The World Cup starts June eleventh. So we are days upcoming days gonna start. And Laminam is the pretty much the wonder kid. ⁓ he's only what nineteen, twenty years old for ⁓ FC Barcelona, of s the Spain national team. So people think he's gonna be that guy. When I went to a card show this past weekend, just two kids casually walk up to a to a table and buy two I it was like two K cards. ⁓ Each ⁓ slab was like two K and just they just casually buy it. I'm like, okay. I'm like, ⁓ my god, Lamingam all moving that fast. They didn't even negotiate that bad. It's like, ⁓ yeah, ⁓ I'll pay ninety percent and they're like, all right. And the like two minutes it chat: Hot Penny. Jason: The deal was the deal happened. It was crazy. chat: What hedge fund is your dad from, please? Two K for a fucking car like that, Jesus. Jason: Yeah. I'm like, dude, come on. I'm like I'm looking at these like singles and they're just buying slabs like it's nothing. chat: I'm broke broke mates. You bet straight there. Jason: Yeah, I'm fucking broke compared to to these guys. but yeah, Lemenium All, Wonder Kid, he's gonna score a lot of goals. He is injured right now, which is kinda kinda crazy that people are still buying. And he might miss like the first couple of games for Laminia Mall. chat: No. Like bed injury? Is a hamstring? Jason: I think so. I think it was a hamstring but the he di he he didn't get to play like the rest of the season. And he like missed like three or four games for Barsa. And he might miss a couple more. chat: No wonder No wonder it was so easy to buy him his base chrome for like twenty seven dollars the other day. Jason: Yeah, but I mean but his market's still up, so you never know. People still are believers in him. now we got some falling players, some just quick ones. We got Jaden Ivey, Cal Cal Riley, and Kanipple. chat: That's true. Jason: So Ivy has pretty much ruined his career, if I can say that lightly. Yeah. This man is no longer gonna no longer a bull and no longer probably even in the radar of any NBA team. chat: The Yes. Yes. Yep. Tough to be that guy. Kyle Riley, no longer in the MVP running for this year. Was in MVP of last year running. I thought he was gonna win, but I guess Aaron Judge ⁓ I did Jason: I thought so too. Yeah, he's he's his pace from last year was pretty much unrealistic to follow up this season. he started this season pretty slow. He's still a very good catcher. And his bat can be dangerous at many times. So his market is low. and Conkaniple, I'm surprised at Conkan Nipple. Yeah, he didn't look the best in the playoffs, but his market went up went down drastically. chat: 'Cause he did terrible on the like what was it the what is it that little ⁓ not the playoffs, but what is it before the playoffs? Plan? He did terrible in the plan. Jason: ⁓ the play in. I think he they won the first game in the play in, but he was a non factor. And then the second play in, he was a non-factor again. So we were like, is this guy just not playable in the playoffs? I still believe in him. Yeah. Is the lights too bright? Yeah, I believe in him though. he's a good shooter and that team is young and he's gonna be part of that core. It's it's rookie season, so you he's bound to like improve year to year. chat: The lights are too bright. have a card coming back from PSA at the of June. I hope so the hear back. So Jason: Yeah, so three fallen players and we got a bunch of players who are going up. So keep an eye on that and check out these these players. See if you want to buy anything or just want to stay away. so now let's move on to collector's corner. So Alex, what's some players on your radar? What are some things you wanna buy? Some players that you think are gonna improve or go gonna do good in this upcoming season? Who you got? chat: ⁓ so told Jason sent him a picture of the day. I'm collecting X Fractors of like rookie extractors, 'cause X Fractors of players that do well of ⁓ VP, what do call it? World Series. They do have accolloids. They're that card is like a significant thing in their like belt. And it's I wanna be that guy who has that niche where it just collects X Fractors. So just picked up Nick Kurtz, I've been taking a list of players like Drake Baldwin, and then look I'm going through Rookie of the Years right now. I already have Paul Skins. ⁓ I don't know who ⁓ do you know who Lewis Gill is? Jason: Sounds familiar. chat: He he he won Rookie of the Year with Paul Schienes and I was like and I when I was looking up his X Rector, it's 2022. I'm like, why? The Yankees. And then like and then then I read it, read it, and it said that he was out for like the first two seasons, then I guess it didn't really account for his rookie season. I guess you gotta play a certain amount of innings. Jason: What team is he on? True, I have no clue. Petcher. ⁓ he he did that Ben Simmons? chat: Yeah, yeah, he did the Ben Simmons. I'm fucking dead. yes, he did the Ben Simmons and I guess the third season he did really well enough to w ⁓ Rookie of the Year with Paul Skins. Jason: That's crazy. Yeah, d ⁓ I'm very casual for ba for baseball, but yeah, that's that's insane. Yeah, X Factors are cool though. That'd be a nice look looking them all in a binder. That'd be dope. chat: I know Jason I showed Jason the other day, Jason doesn't chat. He's like, Chat, that's pretty cool chat. It's like thanks. Jason: Yeah, it looks cool. chat: But yeah, don't know where Lou Skill is. I think he doesn't play well in it like last two seasons because I have not heard anything about him in a while. ⁓ know why. ⁓ I picked up a Jalen Brunson. Jason got a Jalen I got Jason and Jalen Brunson card too. So we're making a trade. ⁓ ⁓ making a trade for that Lamin card. Or let's think. Vargas. is really well. Jason: Gotta send you money for that. ⁓ yeah. Yeah yeah. chat: Autos are cheap. I bought one for 20 bucks on card. ⁓ Caleb. big fear with the Wimby stuff is that I was late on it. And and his cards are expensive. And my biggest fear is that I won't have enough Caleb cards when he either gets an MVP or a Super Bowl or does really well enough that all his cards shoot up and I'm gonna be super sad because I can't fucking afford them. Jason: ⁓ yeah. Mm. Yeah, h his market is low compared to to some of these quarterbacks. like Drake May's market is very high compared to Caleb's. And r ⁓ a file, I guess Drake May did make make the Super Bowl, but Caleb is brings excitement. He's ⁓ probably marketable, if anything, than Drake May. chat: But yeah. his ⁓ just ⁓ three one fifty bucks other three out of three ninety nine. ⁓ looks clean. I might have to wait to get that graded maybe next ⁓ next because PSA is ass right now. But overall a fear for me right now is that I won't have enough Caleb cards that I really want before it shoots up. So I'm like ⁓ this whole I'm working two jobs, I'm like, alright, cool. The idea is like I'm gonna keep Buying Caleb cards every check. Jason: I get a whole binder or like that little shelf I have? chat: Yeah, you I'm like Jason, we finally have both our altars of our favorite player. Jason: Yeah, facts. Let's start some W players. chat: Yes, sir. Well what do you got, Jason? Jason: talk about my ultra. ⁓ Drake May bought a lot of cool cards ⁓ at that sh at a show. So I'll just keep buying more of his. I'm still collecting his X Factors. I got outbid the other day for his ⁓ for his college X Factor. And I was like chat: Make many. Hate that. He liked licks on this. Jason: It's like it's like twenty bucks. I was like, damn, I should've bid a little bit more and c could have got it. but yeah, Drake May, Bears players. So a lot of like the rookies, I'd like to get more ⁓ Burden, Lovelin, guy, some more of those guys. I got a couple cool base cards of theirs, but I need more. Jackson Dart. they just got Odell Beckham and Juju. So very random. But I Jackson Dart's gonna do pretty good. chat: I'm then guy. Very Jason: they have a solid core around him and a new coach. chat: John Hardball. Jason: Yeah. I bought a card recently. It was like twenty five dollar card. It's it's a dope one. I'll I'll send you that later. It's ⁓ no, I bought a mosaic one. No, is it mosaic? ⁓ it was something really cool. It was like blue and and it was I bought it cheaper than what it was going for on Nicolex. ⁓ well what is it? It's a yeah, Mosaic Blue Scope. Kinda cool card. chat: Is it the wave? W W schemes. ⁓ mosaic blue spots, those are nice. Maybe something not. Jason: Yeah. It's a it's a dope looking card. But bought it for twenty five. It's going for like thirty something. I think like thirty-eight. It's a dope card. ⁓ yeah, so a lot of cool players between both of us. ⁓ so now let's move on to experiences. I'll start first for this one. I went to the Dallas card show in Schomburg, It was huge. A lot of Jordan Love guys. Guess Jordan Love was doing autographs and like pictures there. chat: A ben dobidus. Italia. The fuck? Ew. Jason: So everyone was in Jordan Love jerseys. Yeah, I was like, bro, why is there so many Packers fans? And Illinois and Schaumburg and mostly I'm like, ⁓ Jordan Love. I just keep seeing more Jordan Love shirts and like people carrying Jordan Love jerseys to get signed. I'm like, bro, what is going on? chat: I would have like, You're in the wrong territory, guys. Jason: Yeah, I'm these cheese heads, get the fuck out of here. but yeah, ⁓ Dazz card show. ⁓ walked in, first couple of things, I was like, Holy shit, why is everything so expensive? All these slabs, I it took me maybe like an hour, ⁓ an hour to get to like ⁓ actually raw cards because there were so many slabs. It was insane. ⁓ chat: Fucking PSA. That's Jason: Yeah, and they were like fucking like two K, three K. There's like tables with like multiple Tom Brady auto cards. I'm like, bro, just give me one. chat: Let me just get one for free, please. Jason: But yeah, ⁓ cool show. There was one table that I had a really good deal off. ⁓ just a bunch of cards for like 20 bucks. It was super chill. Made two deals with that guy. that big card I got from there was a PCA autograph on card. I was like, I just want to get a good card, so I bought that. And I was like, PCA is dope. I'm a White Sox fan, but I love that dude. but ⁓ yeah, dope show. chat: R O. Jason: a lot of Pokemon, so I gotta skip over a lot of tables. But yeah, overall I like the show. Yeah. I would go again. I would go again. Not not super crazy about it, but it was a cool show. what else? What about you, Alex? What was your experience of this? chat: Yeah. Here for the first wood stuff, guys. missed that on the I wish I went but I got my flight got back a Saturday night and I had work the next day. went to a we went I was on vacation for a week. went to Wisconsin ⁓ and went to go visit my aunt's cabin 'cause she wanted to show it off. And my brother's or my well, my dad's like, Well, we should go look for sports cars like some time 'cause it we're we're on vacation. We're trying to have a good time. And my brother had looked saw that there was a convention our sports convention, sports card convention, like at a hotel and not that far from us. We drove there. Man, Jason, it was horrible. The venue was cramped, small. Manders didn't have any good selection of inventory. And it was a sports and Pokemon convention. And the guy who was selling sports or selling Man, I feel like I it to be some regulation for this crap because this guy was selling base cards of like Jason: Hm. chat: Mosaic base cards. I'm like, and then he was selling it over like ten dollars or something like I'm like, come on, man. And yeah, we were there maybe less than thirty minutes and I didn't get anything and everything was overpriced. not a big Pokemon fan either, because I don't ⁓ doesn't ⁓ hit a three from the corner for me, okay? ⁓ ⁓ not an but the dunk on a a white guy that's only scored four points. Jason: That's insane. Nope. Can't win a championship. chat: but ⁓ idea for that for this was that or one of my takes is that we should have like a organization or a governing body that looks over these conventions and has double checks if it's safe for vendors, sellers, ⁓ and like people who go to these if fire broke out, Jason, I I think I'd die. 'Cause I was like 'cause they had the guy the only sports guy there I was at the door, Jason, and I was trying to like look at his binder and then like everybody came bumping into me. I'm like, bro. Jason: Yeah. ⁓ no. We just trampling each other. That'd be crazy. chat: I know, I was like, I'm trying to see he if I can get a steal on these cards, but all these cards are w either w I saw what was his name? ⁓ not Warren Moon, but he was like a like an old n old Titans correc quarterback, I forgot his name. But it was like two thousands and I was like, ⁓ cool, sick. And then I'm like, Okay, this is not really worth anything and I don't really like this guy as much, but that's cool to see his card. the next last one for me, I ⁓ Jason the other day ⁓ And I sent him a picture of ⁓ a stack of Tobbs Chrome twenty twenty five football. it was at a ⁓ hobby shop in Florida, and guys had everything up the ass of like if you're having a hard time finding anything you really want to open, yeah. I feel like these guys ha went around the whole area of like Florida and bought all the boxes and just brought it back to their shop. ⁓ Ugh, top scrolls was over. Jason: How overpriced were they? chat: price that's because the top scrum is still brand technically brand new and then people are trying to like open it still so like I think a blaster was like sixty seventy and then like a a mega box was a hundred dollars and then a hobby hobby box it was a thousand dollars. No damn hobby box was like thirteen hundred ⁓ the the the blasters are reasonably priced for the the baseball like the Bullman chrome that the but the Bowman forty five Jason: Saying so. Mm-hmm. chat: I didn't get shit on it. I want my phone back. Jason: Yeah. Dude, I talk about cards, I'll opening cards. NBA hoops, that fucking sucked. I I I opened one box and I got jack shit. I've had b bad experience with that and then ⁓ was it that new signature series that came out? I just keep the cards were damages, two, th they're just bad players. I'm like, I just wasted forty bucks and on some random base cards. chat: Yeah. the I'll get on that. The last point on this is they had all these boxes and there was a Target right next to the shop too. So I was like, how do I know you guys are not just going to buy these boxes at Target and just selling this shit over here? But I was rare like I like fuck, these guys are probably just buying their fucking boxes with Target and just relabeling their prices, you fucking dickheads. But yeah, I sent Jason a picture and Jason left at it and Jason: That's brutal. chat: The last note on the experience, my dad bought a hobby box for a thousand dollars too. the Bowman, he got a good bunch of cards or like he got his money back for that, and he got screwed on the hobby box for the signature basketball. he got four ass autos and he paid thousand dollars. ⁓ Yes, ⁓ and cards like crap. ⁓ That's the end night. ⁓ Jason: Damn. Yeah, that's too much. Really? Th there they were damaged too or or or are they just bad p bad styles or like design? chat: ⁓ just like I like the I think they were only good for football, in my opinion. They were only good for football. I don't think they needed to make a basketball one. I the the design looked like butt. The autos they were giving out were like butt Kel we got Caleware from the Heat. ⁓ Brooke ⁓ from the ⁓ OKC ⁓ Market in from the Utah and we got Jason: Mm-hmm. Decent. chat: what's the Hispanic guy from the Heat? I forgot his name. Yeah, we got he got him and we ⁓ we we looked at how much everything was and the all the Attas combined were fifty dollars. Maybe a hundred bucks. Jason: ⁓ Hakes. Yeah, those aren't big, big names. Yeah, people don't want to buy those. chat: And then the only thing Yeah, nobody wants to buy those. And then the other thing may they got out of that box was that fluidity. It's considered a case hit if you get one of those 'cause I guess they were a case like they were like rare for like football, but they're like super rare for basketball. And I don't know. Yeah, they they changed it for basketball. It's a case hit if you get one of those. Jason: I was w I was about to say, I don't think they're that rare for football. I 'Cause I opened one box of fluidity last year and I got ⁓ Terrell Davis fluidity.
