speaker-0: Alright, looks like we're hot and looks like you're in the bare woods. I think this is super cool because they were trying to do his podcast and next week I'm leaving to go bear hunting. You're currently bear hunting and you just happen to have a star link. So technology is winning right now because labels us to have a podcast while you're bear hunting. speaker-1: Yes. Yes, Starlink has changed the game for sure. ⁓ We've kind of been ⁓ all week actually. There's so much going on with us about to launch. An overwhelming amount of work to be doing. So we've been, you know, we've still been going really deep, but we've been working the first half of the day ⁓ via Starlink and then diving into the backcountry and then hiking out late. ⁓ Kind of been rolling around doing that all week. So it's awesome. Like you get to do both at the same time. speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. Luckily bear hunting, can stay up all night and like a class for bears. then a lot of times they don't move around too much in the morning. So it's not as essential to get out, but yeah, enables you to get work done as well. So Jacob here, give me a, give me an introduction of you and, I mean, we're talking suppressors today. We're talking, uh, tenant suppressors and what I've seen so far, you're going to take the market by storm. Seems seems pretty remarkable. speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: I obviously I watched that video. sent me a little teaser of it and ⁓ you you're impressing a guy like me, which is very hard to impress. So kudos to kudos to you guys. I want to dive into everything about it. So speaker-1: Appreciate it. Yeah, it's been ⁓ overwhelming and ⁓ grateful for how well it's received. ⁓ And ⁓ it's been a project that, so as a company and a brand, we've kind of been formed for a really long time. ⁓ We just were in the dark doing all the work. We started this roughly five years ago and just kept going and iterating and iterating and iterating until we... finally got to where what we believe is the best combination that you can get with a model device. speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. It seems, ⁓ like it's probably the golden age right now to be a company wanting to create suppressors. If you're like, if you're a consumer, this is probably like the most exciting time because he likes everything's new coming out. There's always different things and like different spins on it, but like, it's cool to see people innovating and, ⁓ just doing different things and making it better for like, all I do is hunt. mean, have aspirations to compete, you know, NRL Hunter or something like that someday, but like, to make a really good suppressor for hunting and to make one that like, yeah, it's quiet, but also mitigates recoil. Like that's what's impressive to me. Like that's why I've always been like never on a 30 cal while I put a suppressor because I just haven't seen anything out there that does what I need it to do. like, mean, that's why I'm really excited for all the tests you guys have been doing. Like, what was it? Who put it on? know Joseph Ewing was kind of a part of it. Him and I were actually best friends, or not best friends, but known each other for a long time back in like the bowfishing days when I used to bowfish and used to live down in the South. So it's a crazy, crazy connection there. speaker-1: Yeah, that's what he was saying. Yeah, the whole test that happened in Montana was Joseph's brainchild. And he honestly just formulated a small test with a couple of different suppressors because he wanted to figure out what was the best and would help him get a competitive edge. And he just shared a Facebook post about his results. And he only tested like maybe 14 setups or 16 setups. And it gained a massive amount of traction. So they decided to do a rev two and the amount of work and effort that they all put into it. They wanted some coverage. So Jon Snow got involved with it and helped pull it off and run it at a little more professional level. And so yeah, it was their test and we were in the dark up till all I did was actually got a hold of Joseph like, hey, we got a company that's coming to market. We'd like to come and then test our products because we haven't ⁓ really tested them out. side by side a lot. It wasn't kind of our engineering thing. We wanted the design inside our own box and not look at other boxes. That's just how we approached it. speaker-0: Yeah, that's a way better way to design a product too. Cause like you started looking at other people's stuff and then they're like comparing it to them. Like, no, just start with scratch and look at your own stuff. speaker-1: conscious brain starts to think like 10 % change instead of like looking at the big problem and the big picture and then designing around that. ⁓ So yeah, we just decided to, ⁓ that was going to be our line in the sand where we're to come to market around that time. So we kind of like started posting socials and stuff a couple weeks before that. And then yeah, we went to the test and all of our, at that time we had been We just had thoughts of where our product was. We had goals and we got to our goals that made it to where we were ready to bring a product to market. But going to that test just like was super eye opening and validating. like I've been hunting with a setup that performs similarly. It used to be louder, like honestly, like they used to be louder, but the same recoil reduction. And I've been hunting with it for years. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: And I knew how much of a game changer it was for myself, but like I'm an average shooter and not some professional shooter. And then watching guys, ⁓ professional shooters run to their trucks. We had a one little intermission and all of them ran to their trucks, grabbed rifles and started throwing our suppressors on their guns and pull the trigger one time. And they're like, no way. it was a... speaker-0: What stood apart for them mainly, right? When they press that trigger for the first time, is it sound, decibel, is it recoil mitigation? Like what's the one wow factor you really get out of you guys as suppressor? speaker-1: Yeah, so there's going to be some slow mo data that comes out from that and you'll really be able to see it and you've seen a little bit of it, right? Not like side by side comparison data as much. ⁓ Our coined phrase and like this is like when you're an engineer or engineering, you have to like have the top of the pyramid and then like categorize. But these are all priority, priority two, three, four, five. And you try to get as many of them as you can. But the very top one is unrivaled shot control. So When you pull the trigger, when we originally started, we wanted to get muzzle brake performance with suppression that doesn't hurt your ears. Like that was the two goals for you in the back country, fire two, three rounds and your ears aren't ringing and you're good. It doesn't need to be much quieter than that. Any quieter than that is just like, in my opinion, in our opinion was like, if it's that quiet, then keep shortening it until it gets right at that. that ledge ⁓ and that's where we were at but ⁓ unrivaled shot control and when you get behind the gun and especially as you increase in recoil right like the lighter the rifle and the higher the 300 PRC 300 normals like that that's where it really starts to shine 16 pound 65 Creedmoor doesn't recoil a whole lot when you ⁓ jump to those heavy recoil rifles That's their like they were their mindblown this was like their reticle doesn't move off the target like Like yeah, like they were shooting a 300 PRC at 300 yards and they were like my critical never moved more than two tenths off of center speaker-0: which is amazing because you're spotting, you're spotting impacts at closer distances where even on breaks, a lot of times you're like, past 500, I can spot my impact, but if you can spot it lot sooner, yeah, that makes it like explain to me. Cause like, obviously I'm very new to suppressors. I've been like anti-suppressor for a very long time. And like, I'm finally starting to get like, you know, a little bit more knowledge behind them, starting to shoot a bit more finding out there is a place for them. But again, the reason why back in the day I never really shot him much is like, I want recoil control ultimately because I shoot big magnums. So like, how does it work when you have just a normal suppressor without a brake on it, then you add the brake? there like, is there something you gain or lose? You add a little bit of sound when you add the brake on there? Like, how does that actually work? And then how does it work with your system? Like you can, it looks like you can do a modularity. You can take it off if you want to, or can have it on there, correct? speaker-1: Yeah, I don't know if the camera will pick it up, but here is one of our products. speaker-0: Yep, I can see that perfectly. speaker-1: ⁓ So you just have a protective sleeve on here, right? You see the sleeve? So you just spin it off. It takes just a minute. Super fine threads. So now you have exposed, but your end cap is still on there. Like the suppressor could be fired like this, no problem. This is ⁓ simply protective for the, you want to run it, that the threads don't get damaged. You put this on there ⁓ and then it ⁓ adds a little bit of aesthetics. you could, if you wanted to save the 0.2 ounces of this, you could run it and hunt with this. These are pre-production brakes. The new brakes look quite a bit better, but you would just. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: take a jam nut, put the jam nut on and then take your brake, it on, clock it. ⁓ All of the brakes and suppressors will come with a level that custom fit to our ports. So level the gun, because most guns, if you're buying this product, you're probably going to have a level on your gun somewhere. So just level the gun out, smack the level on the brake, get it level, tighten it. have a... speaker-0: ⁓ perfect. ⁓ slick little wrench there. Yeah. speaker-1: Yep, so that will come in the box. Actually, can one of you grab me a box? ⁓ I'll show you the way it'll come in a minute. so typically, pre like even when we started ⁓ designing suppressors, because this actually started on the brakes like we were I wanted a hunting brake and I didn't we didn't care about making a suppressor. I actually took my brake ideas to suppressor companies and like guys, if you could build me a suppressor that's sub eight ounces, it's semi quiet. that will accept this brake system. Like ⁓ this is three years ago, there was a white space there that like it didn't exist. It wasn't even a thing. And I couldn't get anybody to like, they just didn't see the value in it. It takes somebody like yourself to see that value. Like that goes steep and deep and has to make those shots. And like I was in the same boat. ⁓ I love brake performance. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: but I shot two animals with EarPro hanging around my neck because I didn't have time and speaker-0: ⁓ yeah, I've been there so many times. speaker-1: So for the next four days, you're in this beautiful country trying to enjoy yourself and all you hear is just a screaming eek, reek in your ear. So yeah, so we weren't actually gonna build suppressors, but. speaker-0: Yep. kind of like that path for you guys, honestly. I like that you started thinking about, okay, break first, but then it morphed into this because like, as a hunter, we all want like, like you're saying that like unrivaled shot control, like you want it to just mitigate as much recoil as possible so you can track the impact. like if you go with that philosophy first or that thought, and then it morphed into this, like your wheels are spinning a little bit differently than everyone else kind of probably in the industry is what I'm thinking right now. So I like that. That means something to me. speaker-1: Yeah, awesome. So at some point, we actually then we're like, okay, if we can't get somebody to build us the suppressor we want, we started building suppressors. ⁓ And we started with standard manufacturing. And we actually had some standard manufactured suppressors that were really, really good, ⁓ like in terms of sound and weight. And they accepted the brake system. They worked really, really well. It actually traveled the country. went to black tail hunts. So we got film of it. We were going to bring it to market. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: ⁓ and it was like at the point of bringing it to market. I'm like, no, like there's more here. Like we can get better right now. We're kind of like, we weren't as quiet. ⁓ that was, that was the big, like, and so, kind of one of our, at that point it was going a different route and, ⁓ tenant was formed and when tenant was formed, I have two business partners and, ⁓ our kind of our agreement was that like no compromises if we're going to bring products to market and with our name on it then ⁓ no compromises is the answer. And so we decided to not bring that product to market until we had every single attribute, light, short, quiet, and maximum recoil reduction. Without those four, we're not coming to market. And we will keep iterating and keep going and never launch until we get there. ⁓ So that's what led us to additive manufacturing and started that design process. and I can get a little long-winded if but. speaker-0: No, that's a huge thing right there because I think so many companies nowadays and like sometimes they even do it here at Go Hunt. Like we have a pair of pants and we're super proud of it, but we're always like, okay, when do we want to launch it? And we're like, ⁓ we should launch it now. Or do we keep waiting? And it's like, I love the fact that companies test it, test it, test it. And they're like, yeah, we're going to beat the living heck out of this product to make sure it's exactly right. Like you're saying it meets the check boxes. sound, recoil, weight, length, like whatever it may be. And like, yeah, have no compromise. Will I release a product early? When you guys are already, you're probably really proud of that product at that time, but like, can we make it even better to a point where it was like, it's a no brainer. Like if you can just go that extra, it might take an extra year, which is hard to not launch a product, but like, I think it's, you get so much wins. You only get one chance to make a splash. Like I always try to say that when we do things around here, I see things initially, like you get one chance. Once it goes out in the internet and people start talking about it, like if it's great, you're going do well. But if one person picks up and part like, Oh, I wish they would have done this or spent a little bit more time refining this. Like that could last a little bit. Obviously people can work through it, but like, it's cool to understand like, yeah, you guys have been working on it for a long time and not going to release it till it's bad-ass. Like, I mean, as rifle hunters, that's all we want is something that works and it works well. like take the time to do it right, bud. speaker-1: Yeah, absolutely. I mean, you can you can probably speak to this, but like when I head in ⁓ to the backcountry and typically the way I e-scout is I find the hardest place to get into first and look for the type of country it is second. And every single thing like yourself, like you count your toilet paper squares, like if it's in my pack, it's got to be vital to the success or keep me from dying. Outside of that, doesn't go. The compressor needed to be there. speaker-0: Yep. speaker-1: ⁓ I needed to know that if we brought this to market, I know that every single person that decides to take it into the back country, it'll be worth it and then it would be better off because of it. ⁓ that's where we kind of the one, but ⁓ yeah, to get into your question a little bit, that's where our, mean, what everybody's seeing right now is the results of the low recoil and the low sound and all of that. But where that came from is we actually started building suppressors kind of the way other people's did. ⁓ And you have, when you have a suppressor system, when you're just thinking about suppression, and this is where I had blinders on, I lost sight of the unrivaled shot control for a little bit and the team did. And we were just trying to, we were designing a suppressor and we were thinking like every other suppressor that's ever been. So we're just trying to get it quiet, but not thinking about what also it's doing, why it's getting quiet. And so when you started thinking of how you can suppress, there's a bunch of different ways to do it. You can get really violent gas flow and lock it into chambers and have multiple chambers that keeps locking air in. that works really well for sound. But in our testing, that equaled the largest recoil. speaker-0: ⁓ yeah, because you probably have a lot going on in there. So it's going to like just explosion is going to move it. Yeah. speaker-1: slamming into each other. So we had to come up with a way to get suppression. it took a, we had 87 iterations of 3D printed suppressors till we got to where we're at now. speaker-0: You said 87 iterations. That's insane. speaker-1: Yes, of 3D printed and we probably had 27 of standard manufacturing prior to that. Probably somewhere on 27. That's off the top of my head. So we actually kind of rethought how a suppressor could suppress. And that's where when you get behind the gun and you watch your reticle just like perfectly track, like you have recoil, you can't get rid of recoil. Yeah. Like you're going to feel something. But why that impulse is happening. you're still on target, you're still watching bullet trace. So a lot of that comes from where we ended up with our suppressor and how gentle we are with the gas. We cause a lot of suppression, but we do it in a way that everything kind of moves and flows and ⁓ nothing gets locked, nothing's crashing in the walls. ⁓ And because of that, ⁓ side benefit of that is we have zero first round pop. at the competition, almost every suppressor would see like a five DB drop. ⁓ They'd shoot the first shot and then a five DB drop. And ours is from shot one, the same as it is shot two, three, four. Just because there's that first round pop comes from unburnt oxygen that's inside of the thing. And so when it gets trapped into a corner, it explodes. every place you run into a dead end corner that that oxygen explodes. So there's extra explosion. speaker-0: sense. speaker-1: that happens inside of there, extra fuel. Well, then there's no fuel in there on your follow up shots. But because we never trap gas anywhere in the entire system, ⁓ we were able to get to no first round pop. then through that, we started like really thinking about unrivaled shot control. How can we let's forget about the break. Let's build the highest recoil reducing suppressor on the market. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: And then when we put our brake on it, it'll be even like, it just adds another notch. ⁓ And so we started thinking of, we started iterating some different geometries and it actually happens in like the back half of the can. The first half does some different stuff. And then the back half is kind of where we get a lot of recoil reduction just with the suppressor itself. ⁓ And that's how. we can get both quiet and recoil reduction is because we're doing a lot with the suppressor and then we have a well performing brake. There's some other well performing brakes. Like we're at the competition, like the RecoilX brake works really well. ⁓ It's a great product. People have won a lot of competitions with it. ⁓ But speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: because they have to use host suppressors that are building to suppress, they're louder and then they're limited on their recoil. And what we found in that test, it's kind of interesting to see the data. I'm excited for you to come out. don't know if, I think the data comes out this Friday. I don't know when you're gonna post. speaker-0: I'm trying to drop this podcast whenever you want it to be dropped. It can go out this Friday if you want it to, or I can wait till next week if you want it to wait a little bit longer. speaker-1: OK. Yeah, but what you'll see in the results and ⁓ if you were to take the line of lowest recoil and you were late put them from first till 10th, you would take those top 10 and then you would make and you would sort by the loudest setup. They were like to a T identical like the loudest suppressor, the suppressor that did the least allowed a must amount of gas through and let the recoil or whatever suppressor or whatever brake system ⁓ work more and be more efficient. It was like loud, Rico reduction, like they went hand in hand. And so yeah, it's kind of overall arching, arching view of everything, but. speaker-0: Yeah. So could this presser like this been built like 10 years ago or is like has 3D printing and all this stuff really just absolutely opened the doors? speaker-1: Yes. No, is the answer. With some of our, I'd say iteration 27. Yeah, we were good. But we got to 87. We actually had to go purchase and build like the most powerful computer that you can possibly get from like a consumer market without building something completely custom. Just because of the geometry that we had to get to, to get everything to work the way it does. speaker-0: Um, there's probably, yeah, there's so many models and math probably going on in your head. Like, do you have an engineering type background? speaker-1: Yeah, that's correct. I'm engineering degree. speaker-0: Okay. So that's where it all makes sense to me. Cause like, I'm trying to think right now of like, okay, I understand gas and pressure and all that stuff to a degree, but I'm just thinking like, I, I wouldn't even be able to begin to think about like how a suppressor is actually built and, and work through and everything that it takes to do it. And it's just like, it seems very complicated to do and to do it, what you guys are doing to make the, at the levels you are. just like the, the brief little results I've seen of the tests and like, you guys hit a home run. Like, does it feel like you hit a home run right away or are you like, and I can't wait to get on the field. Can't wait to get people in this hand. Like, do you already want to be like, what can we do additionally? What can we do on the next version, the next model? Like, are you kind of already thinking about that? Or is it just right now? Like, let's just keep cranking on these because these are babies first, or like, how do you try to balance this next, next go? Cause obviously you haven't launched yet. And launch date, when's should we look, can we let people know when launch date is where they can like. speaker-1: ⁓ 22nd so in nine days from now, so probably by the time you post like five days We'll be live for pre-sale and we'll start shipping product June 1 So roughly 10 days after that pre-sale goes live. We'll start shipping product June 1 and Yeah, no, I just it does feel good. It feels like we we did a great ⁓ a good job and it's it's taken them and like speaker-0: Okay. speaker-1: It started as a brainchild thing for myself as a hobby. But then there's a phenomenal team that got involved that like we would have never got to where we were alone. It took a lot of people and a lot of brains because my brain did some of it. But there's like the aesthetics like that's not me. Like that didn't come from my brain. We had that's speaker-0: It's purty. Like you always want to like that, ⁓ look good, shoot good mentality. Like it looks, it looks classy. looks timeless. looks like, ⁓ yeah, something just a fine piece of work. Like you look at it like, dang, I want that on my gun. Like he's just, it's not ugly by any means. speaker-1: Yeah. If you knew how much headache those aesthetics caused, I hope that everybody really enjoys the aesthetics because it was much easier when we were just a cylinder tube to get performance. When we went to the aesthetics, like we had weight men of like, this is the maximum weight that we're going to get to. And when you add the aesthetics, you add weight and it changed the internal geometry just enough that we lost a lot of performance and we had to get it back. it was a... speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. speaker-1: major pain, actually would just like a cylinder tube, got like, we got there pretty quick. within 20 iterations, we had something that was really, really good. And then we're like, okay, we'll just, we'll just put the aesthetics on now. It's like, all we got to do is put the aesthetics on and then we printed ⁓ the first prototype and we're like, what happened? Like we lost some performance. So ⁓ that was a big learning curve. And through that we were actually came, like came up with a whole new process. It's one of the patents. ⁓ that to get some of the weight out of it, we had to think way outside of the box. And so we were actually able to create a new printing process that you get tenfold the strength to weight ratio. ⁓ Our product actually got a lot stronger and lighter when the process got implemented. ⁓ Yeah, it was a blessing in disguise that we got up there. And it was just because like we had one option and that was just like it would be heavier. And no compromises with our things. Like we have to find a way around. I know there's not a way right now. We can't go any thinner. We can't do any of that. We got to come up with a new way. And so we come up with a new way and it works. yeah, we dramatically increased our strength to where our six five cans, we've been running them on seven and a half inch ARs. And the testing procedure is 15 rounds as fast as you can, shove it in a bucket of water. pull it up 15 rounds and we're 1400, 1500 rounds, zero degradation performance, zero issues. Mostly coming from that, that new process that was a by-product of the aesthetics. speaker-0: wild. So can we talk specs of some of these? So how many models do have? have a six, five, seven and a 30 cal? speaker-1: That's correct. So the first series, actually have two series that are like being publicly talked about now. ⁓ and one is called the limited series and that is your ultra short, ultra cool, like, like short, small compact. And then we have a reserve series and that's a longer, that's just, it's kind of hilariously quiet and it serves its purpose. ⁓ you're heading in on a sheep hunt. You take the limited, you, your daughter draws a really good elk tag and you're hunting from a side by side and you want her ears to be like beyond like that's kind of the markets or if you're hunting some private land stuff or you draw that really good Arizona tag that you don't have to go steep and deep like that's kind of where it's at but the yes the limited comes in three calibers 37 and 65 and the specs right now I'm really hesitant to talk about them here publicly just because we're speaker-0: Yeah. That's totally fine. speaker-1: We have it ironed them down, but I'll give you a rough summary. ⁓ Our 6.5 is going to be in the five ounce range. And the 7 will be half ounce heavier and the 30 cal will still be in the six ounce range. ⁓ And then ⁓ all of these can shooters here in the 120s, high 120s, those exact specs, will post them once we, know, once we speaker-0: ⁓ wow. Dang. speaker-1: finally pick a number. It just takes a ridiculous amount of testing and averages to like publish something that you're really, really confident in publishing. But right now, those are the weights. The 65 can is 4.95 inches long. The seven and the 30 are both 5.4 inches long. So there happens to be 730. speaker-0: Yeah, I'm looking at my desk right now. I'm like, dang, that's tiny for for a big old speaker-1: They're extremely tiny. together, not very big. speaker-0: That's wild. Yeah. Smaller than a hand. Like way smaller than a hand. Are the, um, the muzzle brake attachment on the end, is that like an add-on or is that all come in as a kit together? Like how does that work? speaker-1: Okay, so you'll let me actually open the box if that's cool. I don't know how many people will looking at the video, but ⁓ if I can open the box, I can kind of show you. the plan is you can buy a limited series, which we have one in here. thank you. Also not my brain. speaker-0: Yep. It's like looking box. Hahaha speaker-1: ⁓ like I said, good people, really good people. ⁓ so this is like a limited series inside of here. There will be, there's missing, ⁓ foam insert that would go here and you can order it simple like this with just a suppressor. ⁓ and then you can order a one port break with it, or you can order a two port break with it. You can pick it a la carte when you're checking out and whatever you order will come in this box. ⁓ it's magnetic close. This is your jam nut. Here is your, this is the level. The level will be sitting right here. speaker-0: Yup. And. speaker-1: And if you order a break, the level will come with it. And then if you choose to buy this suppressor and then you're like, hey, I want to get a break or I bought one of the breaks and now I want the other one. We have another box that'll the break will ship in with a level. that's the plan on how it'll be sold. You can buy ⁓ just a suppressor or one break or a full kit. speaker-0: Hmm. People are going to be excited. Uh, yeah. Is there anything else like, I mean, obviously this test is coming out from outdoor life and it should be dropping around the same time. You said this, this Friday, maybe. And, uh, see how you could be able to see it against a bunch of other stuff. It's been interesting to see for me, like all the results. Cause like, was it going to be like a, just posted on their website is going to be searchable filterable. If you want something that's super ultra light, can. filter by ultra light. you want something that's, you know, lower decibel numbers, you can search by that. Like it's pretty cool that that test went to the level it did and included everything. And like, and you got to be a part of it and have like, it's gotta be a proud, like a proud dad moment. When like you got your baby right there and your, kids out there doing his thing and like competing against everything else. And like, you see how it performed and like, like I It's gotta be really cool. Like everyone there, you said like shot it for the first time or like just that wow factor. Yeah. speaker-1: Yeah, it was awesome. ⁓ I didn't really like when I went into the the event I was just like hey, I'm showing up as a helping hand. I will do anything and everything you want. mean timing breaks for suppressors if you want me handing suppressors if you want me put like whatever ⁓ so then they just gave me a job and I was just just working ⁓ and my heart has a ⁓ deep passion for people helping other people and in my opinion Joseph Ewing's speaker-0: Mm-hmm. speaker-1: spent his own time, own money, massive amount of headache pulling this off for nothing in reward for himself. And the only people that are going to win from it is the consumer. at the end of the day, I've been a consumer for years and ⁓ somebody taking something that's quite a pricier item, you know, it's not a hundred bucks. It's, mostly suppressors or a thousand ish dollars and being able to have a really well educated decision on the very first purchase is I had a lot of respect for that. So. I was glad to be there and great people. speaker-0: And it's super cool too, because it takes all the bias out of it. It's not like, Hey, you guys just went and did this just for yourself and had a few extras. It's like, Joseph is going and just getting everything together to throw all these results. And it's like, at the of the day, like you're saying the consumer's going to win no matter which one you're looking at. Like it's a, a test that's like, I don't know. It's like, I don't know if it's going to set the standard for things. know they've done other tests like this too. Um, but it's just super cool to see it at this level. uh, Yeah. I mean, I have no clue who's going to do it. All of a someone posted some teasers like Joseph, like I knew you were breaking the rifles, but like, dang, this is going to be extensive work to try to get this across the line. speaker-1: It's cool people that this new space exists because I think back in the day you just had two options, suppressor or break. And now you get the best of both worlds is where we're headed. So it's awesome. And it, in my opinion, completely and totally changes what I consider, like I call it consider a gun, a system, like your rangefinder, the scope that's with it, I get the full system and... behind a good barrel, think a good muzzle device that does everything and a scope that tracks and holds. Those are my three most important things. Like I will go with a lesser stock or chat, that stuff. But a good muzzle device completely and totally transforms the shooting experience and your accuracy and your ethical range. We actually have one of our engineers here. He's never been on a Western Hut and on Friday, we ended up shooting two bears and we were shooting 40 degree uphill. We were on a side hill like this shooting this direction. Tricer, tricer bipod full length off one side, shortest on the other side, laying behind the gun. Can't even really get behind it, but like laying sideways into the gun. 300 PRC shooting 225 grains bullets at 3020. speaker-0: ⁓ yeah, typical bear country. So. ⁓ speaker-1: All-car chassis, light gun, very light gun, light scope, maybe a nine pound gun all in. And ⁓ he watched his bullet go in the bear. ⁓ speaker-0: Epic. Yeah. That's what you, that's what you want out of a system. you're saying it's a system and like everything there is built for one purpose. And then you add something on the end, like what you got that's going to tame that down, able to watch that impact. Like there's nothing better than you as the hunter and the shooter in that situation to be like, Oh yeah, I made the perfect shot. Like that's something too. That's like, I don't think it's talked about enough where it's like that memory you'll have for the rest of your life. Do you remember we were on that steep hillside setting up to try to shoot across the canyon on that bear and I as the shooter got to watch it real time and I have to go back like, yeah, we can watch it on digit scope if you record it later, but like to have that mental image for the rest of your life, because like you created a cool system that's going to not only make it quiet, but also mitigate that recoil. And you can now watch it. Like that's awesome. Like that's a cool thing to like, you just remember forever. And like, that's what hunting is all about is making memories and you're helping other people now create additional memories. That's like an afterthought probably it's like, but yeah, you're like, you're in the moment and now I can, I feel that I like envisioning my head right now, like taking a shot out of a bear, like in the situation and be able to watch it impact. Like there's nothing cooler than that to know you made a perfect shot and you know, I to wait for a spotter to be like, Oh yeah, you hit it. And like, no, I already know I killed it. Like it was like, that's cool. speaker-1: And you can be whispering to your partner that's there on the glass because you don't have ear pro in or your ears are ringing. He's not sitting here with one hand like this trying to glass or a film guy. ⁓ so we actually have a film crew here with us and it was a total crap shoot of a situation. We were staring into the sun. So the, he ended up standing, oops, he ended up standing. Literally his ear was 12 inches away from the break. Like. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: because he was filming plus holding a hand back over the scope to block the sun. And, ⁓ he, I asked him afterwards, like how bad was it? Cause you're near 12 inches. He's like, sounded like a big air compressor going off. Then no ringing, no nothing. ⁓ and so like that, we didn't have that opportunity in the past. And I like taking people hunting, new people hunting and like just that last second of communication, being able to be quiet instead of. speaker-0: ⁓ yeah. Yeah. speaker-1: You know, that whole situation. ⁓ speaker-0: Yeah, I always feel bad for camera guys on hunts because like I'm like some of the rifles I have like my rum just has a nasty break on it and it is so loud and you're just and they're always just like they might have you know muffs on or something but like a lot of times they're listening to the audios are shooting so it's grabbing all that stuff and enhancing it it's even worse for them and it's like yeah we have to yeah but swap switch doing that from now on and ⁓ that's why shooting suppress on some of these film hunts has been a little bit better lately because of that ⁓ speaker-1: Hopefully we can fix that issue for you. speaker-0: Yes, yes, that would be epic. I wish the hunt I was going on allowed me to take a suppressor where I'm going, but gosh, we got to change that. Yeah. speaker-1: see that 300 and you shooting it and get your feedback and this... I'd be really excited. speaker-0: Yeah. And like, that's the thing too. Like that, that rifle is my baby. It's like, I've taken it everywhere all across the world and it's like, it performs time and time again. So if something actually makes it onto that rifle, like no BS, it's a big deal. Like to me to like actually change and put something on there. like, yeah, love to throw it on there. if it, like, I know right away, it's going to have that same like smile. Like I almost need to like set up a video the first time and like record myself shooting on it because like those are. Like that's the biggest test of it. get how I feel in that moment. When I get up off that rifle is like instantly you'll know if like, yeah, it's a win because what I've seen already, I know it's going to be a win. And like, just, I've always wanted something to like, yeah, make that shot a little bit, you know, quieter, just because I don't blow my ears off when I forget to put ear pro in, but like also tame that recoil down. And especially on my rum, which is, you know, a hard gun to sometimes shoot, but like, if I can have all that in one package, which seems like the videos I've seen. speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: are going to do that. It's like, wow. Like we're in a great time of my life right now. We're like some of the best technology is coming out and like companies are pushing and pushing and doing new things. It's like, yeah, again, the consumer wins at the end of the day when you guys are all doing this stuff, which is super awesome. And like, glad you waited, like you're saying to like develop something right and not rush it and not push it out there. Cause like you have something you're proud of right now, which is so, so awesome to say like, you're doing something that's super cool. And like every day is going to be like, We did it, you know, we made something and people are talking about it. People are using it people are having success with it. So I can't wait to see, you know, people in the field with it. speaker-1: Yeah, ⁓ that's where my heart's at too. My biggest thing I look forward to is we're going to have a place where people can tell success stories. I have a vision of what they're going to be, just from my own personal experience and everything else. Knowing that they missed a wind call and spotted their impact two foot back on an elk of a lifetime and got a follow-up shot at them or a bear that as soon as they shot... they dumped it and because they watched it dumped, they watched it roll down. know exactly what logs it's underneath and they find it because they were able to watch their shot. And those success stories is like, that's my, that's my drive. Cause that's, that's, that was the drive from the get go is it was selfishly ⁓ to increase mine and everybody that hunted with me success. So we'll go in there and we get that one opportunity that we can, you know, capture it. speaker-0: Nope. Did I hear you have patents on some of this stuff too already? speaker-1: Yeah, so in total there's seven patents totally involving the product that's from the brakes to the suppressors and all of that. Yeah, there's seven different patentable items. Yeah, it's ⁓ just from all of those, we're just thinking of different ways to ⁓ come up with things. speaker-0: Wow. Wow. What's it made out of? Is it titanium? speaker-1: It is titanium, yes. ⁓ We've gotten quite a bit of phone calls from other industries already because it kind of leaked out. so there probably will be an Inconel version that's in process and we'll be coming out with in the future. doesn't, it's not a back country hunting, but a different setup. So, but yeah, everything is titanium right now. speaker-0: Yeah. I can't wait for people to see it and get in their hands. June 1st ship date, ⁓ May 22nd launch date. ⁓ was it pre-orders on your website? speaker-1: Yup, pre-orders on our website, www.tenant.inc. And the social is tenant.official, I believe. speaker-0: . Okay. I'll make sure for people listening to drop it in the show notes to make it easy for you. And yeah, I'm really excited. got to connect and like got the leak when I was bear hunting last week and I was like going frantically, like trying to message you back and forth on trying to get service. Like, yeah, we have to put something together. Cause like, I like talking about this stuff and you can tell listening to you, like you're passionate about it. And the video I saw you guys did like, Super well done. Obviously you're just there like recording your stuff as everything else is getting tested. But it's just like at the end of the day, still like, mean, I've said a lot, like when you, when you see a person and you hear them talk about their product and you talk about it, like you are like, can tell it's a passion for you. Like I can tell like, by just by listening to you, just hearing from me in the past, like week and a half or whatever, like, but you're a solid dude. And like, this is going to be something really special. And then like being able to see the results too. It's like speaks for itself. Like that's why I'm excited to actually see the full outdoor life thing. Cause if you already hinted to me what's kind of happened a little bit, but like, it's going to be great for everyone to be able to see the results of that test and like how it did and be able to watch all those videos and then your video when it goes live too. So. speaker-1: Yeah, well, I appreciate it. Appreciate it very, very much. speaker-0: Yeah, and I don't want to keep it too long because I know you've to go kill a bear right now. So that's why I'm like. speaker-1: We have a big bear and the tenant suppressor is going to be tested tonight. Yes. It's a. And we've hunted all like we killed two in the central general area on Friday and we hunted a bunch of other areas for like five more days and never found a single bear in those days. So we went back to the same area and where this bear is is there's a the center drainage and the drainage that cuts off. It's 100 foot. Waterfall hmm and so that entire face is a all cliff and he's just up above the cliffs and that little back bowl And the only way to get into him and get him killed is to literal rock climb our way up. Yeah, so speaker-0: Sounds exactly like my kind of bear hunt where you're like excited about every second of it. got, yeah, distance away from people. You got a little suffering climbing up from cliffs. Like you're wondering if you're going to make it in and you're wondering if you can make it out. And then, yeah, I just hope, hope the bear shows like you're doing everything right. Just gotta have him do his thing now. speaker-1: Yeah, we just need him to there's actually one other bear that we seen ⁓ Outside of that one that was in the same area that we should be able to see and if we see him early enough probably we can get him killed hopefully we see one of the two but the one way that seemed last night was a Put it this way. We were pushing them videos people to get opinions on if it was a grizzly or not ⁓ and speaker-0: big. Those are the best ones when you're like, Oh yeah, that's a cranker. But yeah, is it a grizzly or not? Because it's like, Oh yeah, six and a half plus like giant probably probably has a huge like a yeah, rump on the shoulders and everything like speaker-1: We were filming from like 1250 yards away, so the film's not that great. But we had two of the guys already set up closer and they were like 600 and they got to see him for like a couple seconds and they were like, oh my, that's a big bear. So hopefully we can go find him. But we got to be in Salt Lake no later than 6 a.m. So if we kill him tonight where we have to, you about have to hike down and around. It might take till 3 a.m. to get out of there. speaker-0: turn and burn. You're doing everything you can. got to hunt to the last day. Like those people who leave early, like, because they got to go places like, no, you're there to hunt right now. This is your super bowl. Yeah. Until the, until the end, make it worth it. Cause like that's going to be so much better. Well, I appreciate you again and go kill, go kill this bear, man. I want, I want that text that like 3am. If you get back to service at 3am, text, text me at 3am and let me know you can kill them. And yeah, I'll kick it. I'll kick this out whenever you, wherever you want live and speaker-1: Yeah. Yeah, well, speaker-0: Yeah, can't wait for people to check them out. speaker-1: Awesome. Thank you. speaker-0: Yeah, appreciate you bud.
