Sue: Yeah. Here's another example of sort of codependency that we get ourselves into. I have a situation where, financially, if my friends want to go out and have dinner, I have to consider if I can afford it or not. And there's always that one friend in the bunch that says, don't worry about it. It's my treat. Even if you get cajoled into going and you end up paying your own way, you've acquiesced, you've given up your control, you've exchanged energy to the advantage of the person that is saying. So to you. Codependency can be framed in a lot of different everyday circumstances amongst our relationships with our family and friends. There was a time when I was in debt and yet I still confirmation with a woodpecker, I still went out. I figured, huh, I'm already sixty thousand dollars in debt. What's what's another fifty bucks? Confirmation with Lucius. It's those little social moves that we might accept into our lives. That I now see as little signs of codependency. Because now, in my mind, if I allow somebody to take me out for food or drinks, then I'm obligated to reciprocate. I've already been put in a position of need or lack. ⁓ because I did not react and respond with a I'd love to see you. Why don't you all come around to my house and I'll have ourselves a little in-house gathering? And then they'll say, No, no, you're making too big a deal of it. I would love to take you out. It's my treat. It's my expression of gratitude for our friendship. So you're disregarding seeing me for who I am at this moment in my life as being a need to be financially conservative in exchange for you being the one seen as doing the randjes ya. Or maybe you've been the one that's always paid for everybody else. Like me. I was a people pleaser. My rule of thumb was that I always made sure that If I ended up getting stuck with the bill, I could pay it in cash. And on the few times that that's happened to me, particularly with a large group of people, that's bistro-mathics. You know, the inability for everybody to portion out their share of the bill. And having these images of algebraic symbols floating around their aura in confusion. Because somebody just can't pull out a calculator on their phone and tally up their exact bill. You know the guy. ⁓ let's just split it evenly. I had a salad and a glass of water. I'm not paying a hundred and twenty dollars for that. All of these behaviors are potentially signs of attachments, entity attachments on others for wanting to impose their will on you, and to in the process also make you feel less than, and that you are in lack because of this. No, I would never no, this is my gift to you, but don't dare refuse it. Have a revisit of all of those opportunities in your life where somebody was treating you to a meal, and look at The overall relationship. Has it been mostly one sided in their favor during the course of your time together? Have they been the ones to benefit greatly from your generosity? Have you always been indebted to them because they're the ones that put out the great parties and you want to make sure you don't want to miss out? And if you see them as being imbalanced spiritually, this is an opportunity to revisit them and s set the balance again. And you do that sometimes. By shutting those souls off. If you look at it as being something that has been persistent in your life, that's an entity attachment most likely. You won't change that. The only way you'll change it for yourself is to walk away. And just know that you will find others like myself, for example, that will celebrate you for you controlling you. You are the celebration. And I'm grateful to be a part of the festivities. Thanks for listening. Let's go Dutch.
