Det här är podden för dig som äger och driver ett bolag och vill utvecklas som ägare. Lena Hasselborn heter jag och det jag som kommer att vara din värld För exakt ett år sedan idag. September 2025 was my first day as an entrepreneur, business owner or whatever you now call it. For 20 years I had worked as a reviewer and advisor at PwC, one of Sweden's the world's leading advisory companies. I really it, but I still to quit. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was right one. During these years, I hundreds of companies and their owners. My focus was small and medium-sized, owner-based companies. I companies that worked hard, had functioning businesses, but many of them never really their businesses to rise. They were stuck in all the work, in the wheel of and did not know how to get out of it. What was was ambition. It was a clear direction to head towards. I saw a lot of potential that was utilized. I felt that I, based on my experience and knowledge, wanted help companies become stronger in their role as owners so that they could build stronger companies. And that's what I'm now. And through this podcast, I also help you. In each episode of the where I a guest, I start with five short questions. And since this is first episode, I it would as good if I started answering the myself, so that you can also get get to me. The first question. Morning person or evening person? Yes, I really a morning person. I am very morning person and wake up most the time around 6 am, regardless of is a weekday or a weekend. What do to when you're little? As a little girl I want to a hairdresser or some other profession that most young girls in the 80s and 90s want to But if I had been about my dream profession 15 years ago and I hadn't had do reviews, would probably have chosen a supervisor, an architect or a program manager on the radio. And that's pretty cool because today I several different management assignments. I've worked as an architect for half year at PwC, where I've as a full-time in Solna. And to be do this podcast is almost as close as can get to even if it's podcast format. So feels very nice that my dreams have taken me here, where I am today. Employees are driving their own. I am so incredibly grateful for the knowledge and experiences my 20-year career has given me. But today it is up to you to make It developmentally fun, of course difficult and challenging sometimes, but freedom is inevitable. The best advice you have received from whom and what? I have received many wise advice from my loved ones throughout my life, but the best comes from Pippi Longstrump, that nothing is impossible. I have never tried before, so I can it for sure. As businessman, lot of curiosity, creativity, courage and self-confidence. And I've been just like Pippi been the last few Not least when I was launching this podcast. Your motto in life? My motto is that life is not about surviving, but about living. It's a motto that's followed me for many years and that I really try live for. I do as much as I can to feel alive. Like swimming in cold water, singing loudly, or doing things that I really don't dare I hope you feel little better And now it's time to own the In the will be recurring theme with some form of fact, for example statistics, about companies that I find interesting and want to about. This time we have raised the 93. 93 % of all companies in Sweden are under 10 million SEK. Although almost all companies Sweden are small companies, is often companies like Spotify, IKEA and H ⁓ that when talking about Swedish companies. Isn't that strange? You can wonder what the is that the looks like it does. There are probably many explanations for that. Partly because many start companies for the of and independence, as an alternative to being employed, and not to build something big. 75 % of all companies actually don't employees. I also think that many don't really know how to growth, which is due to the fact have had a form of education in any company. So much fantastic potential that is hidden in companies. en riktig guldgruva. But what does mean to own a company? It's about owning a business on paper.
